The erosion of Loki’s threat level from “time to conquer the earth” to “persistent nuisance” is a source of eternal delight to be, every film he grows closer and closer to his true and ultimate manifestation of ineffectual, annoying lil brother
so you guys, about a month my brother and his dog, thor, were shot. my brother didn’t make it but luckily thor did. my brother loved thor more than anything and he’d make sure thor was fed before he’d even feed himself. Thor is just a big loving baby who was my brothers bestfriend. Thor suffered a gunshot wound to the head and he’s doing better but taking care of my brother’s baby is definitely a challenge. it’s my family’s mission to make sure thor has the best life he can ever have. I lost my brother and Thor lost his master, his caretaker, and his bestfriend as well so you can understand how hard this can be on everyone. my family started a gofundme. any donation is helpful..no donation is ever too small and if you can’t donate please just share. literally anything helps you guys. please love those close to you, peace and love <3
“There was one time when we were children he transformed himself into a snake. And he knows that I love snakes. So I went to pick up the snake to admire it. And he transformed back into himself and he was like ‘ABLERGH IT’S ME!’ And he stabbed me. We were eight at the time.” -Thor, on his great relationship with his little brother
Thor enjoyed the pleasant fragrances of Midgardian soaps. The one in the common-floor bathroom was labelled “Lavender Daydream” and was tinted a mild purple. It had a gentle floral scent with a slightly acrid undertone, and Thor wondered absently if Midgard had an actual plant named lavender, or if it was like blue-flavored drinks, with no non-artificial analogue. With Midgard, there was no way to tell. Regardless, it was a pleasing scent, and Thor would enjoy the soothing scent and gentle moisturizing properties of the liquid.
Midgard was such a fascinating world.
Thor toweled his hands dry and stepped out of the bathroom, intending to head towards the kitchen. Bruce had left some curry in the fridge, and Thor wanted to test his mettle against his perennial foe, the spicy pepper.
He took one imperious stride into the common room and tripped. He caught himself on lavender-scented palms, just shy of sprawling flat on his face on the carpet.
Sitting innocently in the middle of the hallway was Mjolnir.
Strange. He was sure he’d left his hammer on the sofa.

Summary: When Jane leaves Thor, in your heart you know he should stay with you, but as time goes by, his brother realizes that there is more to it.
A/N: I need Jesus, and when you finish reading this, you’re gonna need him too. My characters know they need Jesus, so that should tell you something. Feedback? It won’t hurt!
You poured some shampoo on your hand and gently
started to massage your scalp with it. “So,” you started feeling the soft foam
form in your hair, “I got a call from your brother yesterday,” you let the warm
water run down your soapy self as you awaited for your boyfriend’s answer.
“Really? Thor knows how to make a phone call?”
Loki snickered from the toilet seat. “Well, that is quite the surprise,” he
shook his head.
“The thing is that he broke up with Jane just a
few days ago and even though it wasn’t a lot, she’s given him some time to move
out,” you casually said trying to elicit some kind of reaction from his
uninterested being. “He’s really bummed, y’know?”
“I bet,” Loki pondered, “I’d be utterly
destroyed if you dumped my ass,” he conceded, “but why are we talking about him
“Well, I’ve been doing some thinking about it
and… I wanted to ask you if he could stay here for a while,” you stuck your
head from the end of the curtain and looked at him innocently. “I kinda owe him
that…” you bit your bottom lip.
“How so?” He ran his fingers through his ebony
“When SHIELD first sent me to the States I
ended my renting contract with my landlord and I moved there, and when the
agency died after the whole Winter Soldier thing I realized I had no home to go
back to; Jane was still there and when your brother came to earth he stayed
with her, so he asked Jane if I could live with them until I got my own place…”
you sheepishly said as you rinsed the shampoo from your head. “I stayed there
with them for like 4 months, so maybe he could stay here for that same time
too, if you don’t mind,” you broke it down. “Can you pass me the towel,
please?” You reached out your arm and he handed the soft cloth.
“What about our life?” He asked in a concerned
voice. “I mean let’s face it, love; we are not the quietest ones and Thor isn’t
either; he snores like a chainsaw,” he pointed out.
“Yeah, but we’ll have to be a bit more quiet
and just… hold on?” You drew back the curtain and got out with Loki’s help.
“Let me return him the favor, it’ll be for just a little, okay?” You looked at
him with puppy eyes, it always worked with him. “Can we?”
“You’re gonna be the death of me,” he shook his
head and unmade the towel, making it fall onto the humid tiles. “I might
consider it,” he effortlessly lifted you in his arms, making you wrap your legs
around his waist, “but only if you bribe me,” he mischievously smiled and
headed for the room.
And just a few days after that, Thor was
setting up this few belongings in the spare room of your apartment. He was really
embarrassed for having to ask you that. He knew he was invading your privacy
and your couple life with Loki, but he really didn’t have much choice or
friends in the United Kingdom.
“It’s okay, big guy,” you placed a hand on his
shoulder when he sat on the bed in defeat. “I know it hurts and all, but…
you’ll be fine eventually, give it some time and you’ll see how things turn
alright,” you shrugged lightly, “besides you’re living with us now, we’re gonna
have fun!” You smiled widely and wrapped your arms around his shoulders. He
rested his head on your chest and wrapped his arms around your waist. “Now
come, and we’ll ask for something to eat for dinner,” you said.
A/N: So my Soulmate AU writing extravaganza begins with Loki, my MCU husband. I’ll probably end up writing these Soulmate AUs to be a little longer. This was a request for @bi-pie67 for 7. Your internal voice is the voice of your soulmate’s, rather than your own.
“Are you sure bringing Loki back to the Tower is a good idea?” You asked Thor dubiously. Steve seemed to reflect your sentiment, looking just as doubtful.
“I assure you, Loki will not get into any trouble,” Thor said. “He seems to have had a change of heart, and my father has ensured that he will be unable to use magic while here, at least until we are sure he is trustworthy.”
“I’m going to trust you on this, Point Break,” Tony said. “But if he destroys my tower again, I won’t be happy.”
“I am certain Loki will do no such thing,” Thor said. “I shall bring him here tomorrow, is that okay?” Everyone shrugged, still looking uneasy with the whole idea, though nobody raised any objection to that. “Marvelous! He shall be here tomorrow, then.”
Clint snorted. Out of everyone, he was, understandably, the least excited. “Can’t wait.”
You hadn’t actually been around for the whole Loki debacle, and admittedly you were a little curious to meet Thor’s brother. Some rather colorful tales had been told by the rest of the Avengers about Thor’s ‘crazy adopted brother’, but you wanted to find out for yourself. Plus, as someone who was still waiting to find their soulmate, there was always the little ‘what if it’s him’ in the back of your mind. Your soulmate, at least from what you always heard in your internal voice, sounded British… almost. You couldn’t put your finger on the accent, but it was similar to Thor’s.
“Up and at ‘em, sunshine!” Tony’s voice came over the speakers in the tower the following morning. “Good ol’ Reindeer Games will be here today, so we gotta make sure everyone is ready. You know, just in case he goes rabid reindeer on our asses. That’s all. Over and out.”
Groaning, you rolled out of bed, pulling on some presentable clothes and making sure you were ready to meet Thor and Loki. Thor had informed everyone that he would arrive around noon, giving everyone ample time to get ready. You made your way to the kitchen, grabbing a cup of coffee that Steve had made and sitting at the table.
“Sleep okay?” Steve asked, glancing up from his own cup.
“Yeah,” You nodded. “Thanks for the coffee.”
“No problem. What do you think about Loki coming to stay here?” He asked you.
You shrugged. “Well, I’ve never met the guy, so it’s hard to say. Wary, but curious.”
“All I can say is, don’t get your hopes up too high,” He said with a snort. “I don’t trust the guy.”
THOR: RAGNAROK Period AU After Lord Odin, founder of Odin & Sons Gold Company, passed away from a mysterious illness, Thor Odinson is forced to come back from his two-year sabbatical to Asgard Hall as rightful heir of the land and the business. This immediately puts him at odds with his adopted brother Loki who, until then, was overseeing the property and operations (to little success) as the acting heir. Friction sparks between both brothers when Thor suspects Loki of his involvement with their father’s sudden demise—until an unexpected visitor, a woman named Hela, changes the game and claims to be their estranged eldest sister and the rightful heir of Lord Odin.
this breaks my heart and makes me incredibly happy at the same time… dizzee loves his brothers but he can’t tell them. they wouldn’t understand his relationship with thor and it’s just not something he can share with them
but he’s not ashamed of it, he’s not out but he loves thor and being with him and expressing himself, he finds freedom and beauty in it. like he says, he’s not gonna apologize for being an alien. he can’t tell straight people (thus “some things just ain’t for you”) but he’s still going to be himself and no one else
and i think this is a really beautiful way of acknowledging it
Warnings: Smut. Unprotected sex (please use protection, kiddos). Swearing. I think that’s it.
Author’s Note: This is my first time writing Loki so I hope it’s good! Let me know what you think!
“Good evening, Loki,” you greeted,
taking your usual seat on one of the couches in the living room. You were
received with silence, just like you had been every day for the past three
weeks. Huffing softly but indignantly, you tucked your legs beneath you,
curling up against the arm of the otherwise empty couch. You dropped your
attention to your book, opening it to where you’d last left off, but you
couldn’t help stealing a few glances at the raven-haired trickster. He sat
elegantly in an armchair that he’d pulled close to the glass wall, staring
pensively into the distance outside.
Thor had brought his brother to the
Tower in hope that the “Earth’s mightiest heroes” would be able to keep him
under their watchful eyes, and maybe even have a good influence on him. So far,
the latter part was futile; Loki hadn’t acted out at all, but he’d done nothing
but brood in silence since he’d gotten here. Although, you could somewhat
understand why—everyone else in the tower was either treating him with a cold
shoulder, or making snide remarks to him in an attempt to rouse him up. You
didn’t really understand what the point of provoking him was. You’d even
attempted to break the ice with him, to no avail.
