Dopo “Father and Son” e “Little Sister”, arriva al cinema il 25 maggio con Tucker Film l’ultima opera del maestro Kore-eda Hirokazu, “Ritratto di Famiglia con Tempesta”, un ritratto familiare estremamente profondo e delicato presentato allo scorso Festival di Cannes.

“Ritratto di famiglia con tempesta (After the Storm)” è una sorridente riflessione sul corto circuito tra i sogni e la vita quotidiana.

Sinossi
Ryota, cui presta irresistibile e spavalda goffaggine l’Abe Hiroshi di Thermae Romae, è un loser che sembra uscito dalla penna di Svevo: promessa (non mantenuta) della letteratura, giocatore d’azzardo, investigatore privato per tenersi a galla, ex marito di un’ex moglie che ha esaurito le ingentissime scorte di fiducia, padre maldestro di un bambino che conosce poco, figlio fragile di un’anziana madre amorevolmente rassegnata (Kiki “Signora Toku” Kilin). Basterà una lunga notte di tempesta, con i quattro personaggi obbligati a condividere gli stessi metri quadrati fino all’alba, per attutire gli spigoli del presente e, soprattutto, del futuro?

Still Walking opens with mother and daughter played by Kirin Kiki and You preparing radishes and carrots. When he died Yasujirô Ozu had begun preparing a film with long time writing collaborator Kogo Noda to be titled Radishes and Carrots, or possibly The Radish and the Carrot (the film was completed a year after Ozu’s death by director Minoru Shibuya).
