#FBF Flashback to Eminem aka, The Real Slim Shady performing at House of Blues in 1999. | Photo by: Kelly Swift

Eminem hit the music scene in 1999 with his album, The Slim Shady LP. His following album, The Marshall Mathers LP, became the fastest-selling solo album in the United States history!

Tragically Hip vinyl re-issues get released in just a few short days…

I pre-ordered these babies on Amazon… “Trouble at the Hen House” has jumped from $29 - $37, but the others are still at their initial price points. Each release is a 180 gram double LP.

So sad that we’ll never see them play live again… I was lucky enough to catch their last tour in Winnipeg, despite my initial lack of a ticket. If this pattern holds, we should see “Phantom Power” and “Music At Work” drop next I would imagine…

I was impressed with the job done on “Fully Completely”.  The Music on Vinyl releases of the self titled EP, “Road Apples” and “Up to Here” are also excellent. Looking forward to seeing their whole catalogue on LP in the near future.
