Okay, so, we all know how good the Voltron writers are with continuity and foreshadowing, right? Like there’s that one scene in Season 1 where Coran offhandedly mention the Weblum which of course reappears in Season 2. Well that got me thinking…there’s this one scene in Season 2 in which the writers deliberately go into detail about a possible plot point that is then just… not mentioned again. And they don’t seem like the kind of writers to just to tell us all that information and not have it go anywhere.

Which scene?

WELL (excuse the horrible quality of the screencaps)

THIS little gem, in which Hunk contemplates whether or not the Galra could successfully brainwash Shiro using his prosthetic. And his conclusion is…yeah, they totally could. So like, I’m not saying we’re gonna get a brainwashed Shiro in the future but…

We’re gonna get a brainwashed Shiro in the future.

thanks for inviting me to the party. if you need me, i’ll be in the corner, drinking & trying not to make eye contact

This is niche as fuck but I love 17th and 18th century pictures of women selling things on the street. Fish, fruit, pies….anything. They’re always standing there, basket leant against their hips, messy smile, dimpled arms, sparky look, tits might just be peeping out for a gander, shouting charming vulgarity…..goals

Because I needed a break from commissions and these shows are practically my life right now. xD

THE DEETS:

Keith (AKA ‘Red’ because he’s just that original) possesses the enhancement quirk 'instinct’, which essentially gives him the speed, strength, senses and reflexes of an animal - a lion, to be specific. Team that with a lifetime of combat experience courtesy of a shitty neighbourhood and an inability to think before he acts, getting into U.A. was a breeze - during his time there he was the best in his class.

Lance (AKA 'Sharpshooter’ because 'Cool Ninja Sharpshooter’ was apparently too long and too stupid) possesses the quirk 'Bullet Fingers’ and it’s pretty much what it says on the tin - the boy can shoot bullets from the tips of his fingers. The density of the bullets all depend on how much iron he’s consumed, so he’s got to eat a lot of red meat to keep his bullets effective. He was originally a student in the General course before wowing the teachers at the sports festival enough to get him transferred into heroics.
