hi again fandom

the thing about Bakugou is that, in the limits that his personality allows, he’s soft for Kirishima - he calls him by name, listens to him and always answers him, tries to help him out as best as he can, accepts his help when Kirishima offers it, actively works to make him feel better when he’s down, never yells at him unless it’s an answer to Kirishima’s teasing, has no problems in complimenting him and pointing out his strength, he’s soft for Kirishima

he openly considers him a friend and treats him as such, he cares and doesn’t really try to hide it, though his inexperience in showing that sort of feelings does make him come off as awkward now and again

I guess what I mean to say is it’d be nice if the fandom could remember that, instead of writing him as angry and prickly and downright offensive and uncaring when dealing with what has been recognized by the canon as his best friend and someone he does enjoy the company of over and over again

SUPERNATURAL GRAPHICS CHALLENGE | Season 5
↳ DAY 4: Lucifer

You people misunderstand me. You call me “Satan” and “Devil” but…do you know my crime? I loved God too much. And for that he betrayed me – punished me. Just as he’s punished you. After all, how could God stand ideally by while that man broke into your home and butchered your family in their beds? There are only two rational answers, Nick – either, he’s sadistic…or he simply doesn’t care.

Happy Valentine’s Day, I bear headcanons. Spock and Kirk, after retirement. They have an interview together because they’re famous starship captains, but Spock prefers to be known as the First Officer. They’re both past caring about decorum, so they show up dressed in civilian clothes. Kirk’s dug out his old green shirt and a jacket with a vintage NASA pin. Spock is bundled up. They’ve got a ton of in-jokes; the interviewer is bemused but entirely delighted over how affectionate they are. The vulcans are no longer scandalized—“It’s that science genius with his human again.”

Happy Birthday to the lovely @ohscorbus!!! I hope you liked your impromptu gifts sorry you had to smuggle the chocolates. A little doodle I did which ended up taking too much time cause I couldn’t get their hair right - and now I know its a bad idea to sleep at 2am when you’ve got a two part show later that day. Thank you for letting me take it with Platform 9 ¾. I’m so glad to be sharing massive CC tears with you

never forget how the sw fandom dropped jyn like a hot potato once she was revealed to not be luke’s baby mama like they used to adore her before the movie came out and the skymom theory was at it’s peak but once that went down they started hating her which is worrying me a lot bc if rey is not luke’s daugther then i assure u they’re gonna do the same with her, call her boring and bland and all around hate her bc she’s not related to luke and i think this is a bad trend in sw fandom bc they seem to view women as valuable only bc of their relationship to the main hero, disregarding their personalities and personal stories in favour of the male hero’s story and once she is no longer needed for it or she just has no part in it they forget about her, or worse, start hating her just bc she doesn’t sleep with the hero and gives him a baby or is his daugther

to me, it seems like a lot of ppl in the fandom see luke as the only important character in the trilogy and everyone else doesn’t matter besides him, he is the one who needs to have a happy ending, everyone else? disposable pieces. ofc i’m not trying to disregard luke but many people don’t seem to realise that star wars isn’t all about luke, star wars is about multiple people figthing off evil and about hope and goodness in people and female characters are just as important as the male characters, no matter their relationship to them because a woman isn’t defined by how she fits into a male characters story

My biggest bug bear is the fandom saying that Sansa is the reason Ned died. Like, yes she ran to Cersei but that's not why Ned was killed. Ned was killed because he confronted Cersei about her children. That's what killed Ned, not Sansa going to Cersei, not Catelyn capturing Tyrion. They added to the tension but Sansa always seems to get blamed. Ned wouldn't blame Sansa, he happily sacrificed himself for his little girl and would never ever blame her for his death

Anon here we touch a sore spot for Sansa, and the opinion most of the fandom has on her character.  Before saying anything, I want to make a  distinction between what is “Intetional foul” (or as I say in italian: dolo) and misconduct (or italian: colpa).

Intetional foul: is when you know what you are doing is wrong, is illegal, AND you are aware of all the facts and consequences (which is more bad)

misconduct: is when you still do the wrong, illegal thing, but you are not doing it with intent. Meaning you dont know or understan all the facts and consequences.

What Sansa did is a misconduct, meaning she did betray Ned,  (so we disagree on this) but she didnt know all the consequences and the facts of the events. This is clear in text:

Sansa looked up from her food. “If she can have a dancing lesson, why won’t you let me say farewell to Prince Joffrey?

“I would gladly go with her, Lord Eddard,” Septa Mordane offered. “There would be no question of her missing the ship.”

“it will not be wise for you to go to joffrey right now sansa, i am sorry"

Sansa eyes filled with tears “but why?”

“Sansa your lord father knows best” septa mordane said. “You are not to question his decisions”

“Its not fair” sansa pushed back her table, knocked over her chair and ran weeping from the solar.

Sansa here asks why she cant see Joffrey, but Ned doesnt explain it. So she doesnt know all the facts. Sure Ned told her  they are in danger but he never said the reason for it. He never told her the truth about Joffrey.

As for Sansa, she knows that she is doing a wrong thing when she goes to Cersei (she says it herself)

“How well I know that, child,” Cersei said, her voice so kind and sweet.

"Why else should you have come to me and told me of your father’s plan to send you away from us, if not for love?“

“It was for love,” Sansa said in a rush.

"Father wouldn’t even give me leave to say farewell.“ She was the good girl, the obedient girl, but she had felt as wicked as Arya that morning, sneaking away from Septa Mordane, defying her lord father. She had never done anything so willful before, and she would never have done it then if she hadn’t loved Joffrey as much as she did.

So yes Sansa did something very wrong, but again she didnt know the mess that it would happen, because she didnt know all the facts (because again Ned didnt tell her). So while yes she defied her father, she had NO idea that it would be followed by her (and arya) imprisoment. (Ned was already screwed, littlefinger saw to that!).

Sansa “betrayal” (or as i prefer to call it “ Misbehavior”) is the surprise of the series. Since the beginning she is always portrayed as a girl who respects the rules, who is obidient and courteous. (which for me is  sign  of her desire to be loved)

Even Tyrion  is surprised by her willful behavior. (and he barely knew her…):

"Littlefinger made the arrangements. We needed Slynt’s gold cloaks. Eddard Stark was plotting with Renly and he’d written to Lord Stannis, offering him the throne. We might have lost all. Even so, it was a close thing. If Sansa hadn’t come to me and told me all her father’s plans . . .

"Tyrion was surprised. "Truly? His own daughter?” Sansa had always seemed such a sweet child, tender and courteous.

“The girl was wet with love. She would have done anything for Joffrey, until he cut off her father’s head and called it mercy. That put an end to that.”

So in conclusion I would say the blame in this case is on both sides, Sansa and Ned. And it makes sense given how both in KL and in the trident accident, turned a blind eye and didnt want to see how awful Robert (in ned case) and Cersei/Joffrey (in sansa case) were. Having trouble with facing the “ugly” reality is a strong part of Sansa as a character, something that she has to be confronted with sooner than later.

I know most of the fandom hates Sansa for this, or doesnt believe she did it, but to me this episode is what makes her so HUMAN. She makes a mistake true, but her reasoning its so relatable to me. She does it for love, because Sansa (to me) is a character who at the end of things doenst want to be queen, or rule or be a political masterming, she just want to love and be loved by someone.

(my guess: her dream of loving and being loved by that someone will happen when she has children of her own…)

I hate all kind of fandom drama and I feel truly sorry for the people whose ships didn’t become canon, but I will also defend Thomas Hamilton with my life and will literally punch the next person that says something bad about him.

Screencaps I have from the beginning of “Hexley Hall” that I wanted to share! Of course out of ALL the people Sofia could have gone to for help about her amulet, she just chooses Cedric again.~She has a such a huge amount of trust in him! A nice episode also for Wormwood fans though, as it showcased a lot of him, and deepened his acceptance and tolerance of Cedric’s bumbling oaf tendencies. (Thanks to a little help from Sofia of course!)
