Hey, you. - Bucky x Reader

Thank you so much for 500 followers!!

In the low hum of the morning, the sheets bundled around your two bodies like a protective layer, Bucky held your hand.

His gentle breath on your neck before the cool touch of his lips to your delicate skin.

“Hey, you.” He said, the smile hinted in his tone.

“Hello, you.” You replied, rolling over to kiss him on the nose.

“I missed you.” He said, cupping your face in his hands.

“You saw me last night.”

“Yes,” he smiled, “But I was away for 2 days. I need at least 12 more hours of your touch to reload.”

You closed your eyes, resting your head on Bucky’s chest, his fingers tracing through your hair.

“Hey, you.” Bucky said again, causing you to smile.

“Hey, you. You with the beautiful smile and gorgeous hair.” He murmured.

You opened an eye and Bucky placed a kiss on your brow.

“You with the sparkling eyes that I could get lost in. I could get lost and I wouldn’t mind at all.”

“I would mind.” You whisper.

Bucky laughed, only a breath.

“You who can make me laugh in the darkest of times. Hey, you who I want to be the reason for your smile.”

You raised an eyebrow, “Hey, you are the reason for my smile you idiot.”

Bucky smirked slightly, “Hey, you who I could spend eternity doing anything or everything with and never grow tired or bored.”

He traced your jawline with a finger gently. “Hey, you.”

“Hi.”

“I love you more than I can believe.”

You walked in the loft, a small smile plastered on your lips. Derek had called you and told you to wear something nice, because he wanted to have a special night before the attack on The Alpha Pack. “Derek?” You padded lightly down the steps and looked over the small place.

You noticed things had been moved, the TV was not in its normal spot, and neither was the couch or the coffee table. “Der?” You called again, walking over to his work table. And then you felt him, strong arms wrapped around your waist, and his chest rumbled against your back.

“Hey baby.” He pushed the hair off your neck and kissed behind your ear. You grinned, and he turned you around, his hands resting on your hips. Derek looked down at your outfit, knowing how much you loved being complimented on your outfits. What you had on was flimsy, and he immediately knew why- tonight was going to be hot. The dress had a black top with lace detailing and a blue skirt, and he couldn’t deny that you looked stunning. “You look gorgeous.”

You wrapped your arms around his neck, “Thank you. So what are we doing tonight?” Derek tugged your hand and led you into a cubby that was sparse except for the TV, the couch, and the coffee table. Candles sat around the whole room, illuminating the room, making it come to life. Two plates of spaghetti sat on the table, and you smiled widely.

“Derek!” You squealed, jumping up and down, and finally embracing him in the tightest hug you have given in awhile. You two sat down, and began eating, bantering back and forth, setting your plates down when you were done. Derek pulled you closer to him and brushed a strand of hair behind your ear.

He caressed your cheek, “You are the most beautiful woman I have ever seen.” A blush crept up onto your cheeks, and you turned away slightly to hide it. Derek pulled your chin back so you were staring at him, and he leaned in, his mouth covering yours.

The kiss started innocent and soft, but you reached your hands up to touch his cheek, and then moved them down his back and around to his chest. Abruptly, he growled and pushed you back on the couch. Your legs wrapped around his waist, and he lightly pushed his pelvis against you. You moaned loudly, fisting his shirt as he moved down to your neck and began to suck, nibble and kiss.

“Derek.” You managed through labored breaths, and he lifted you up, moving the two of you to the bed. You pushed your hands up his shirt and rested on hand on his bare chest, still kissing him passionately. Derek pulled away and tugged off his shirt, and you took the opportunity to do the same. The dress was thrown to the side, leaving you in your panties and strapless bra.

Derek bent down, but you put a hand to his chest. “I’m half naked and you still have your pants on. They have to come off.” Derek stared at you for a minute, and then stood from the bed, gruffly pulling them down and climbing back on top of you. “That’s better.”

You woke in the morning, rolling over to see where the warmth had gone. Your hand reached up and lightly touched the love bites left all over your neck. You had at least three hickeys, but you didn’t mind at all. Quietly, you got up and grabbed your underwear, pulling them on along with your bra and slipping Derek’s tee shirt form last night over.

You looked over to the work table and wrapped your arms around his waist. “Good morning babe.” You smiled and pressed your lips to his shoulder, pulling away. You stared at his muscled back, gazing at the claw marks marking up his back left from you last night, but you didn’t say anything.

The pack arrived around four o’ clock to do some last minute training and going over what the plan was. Derek walked over to his dresser, pulling his shirt off and tossing it into the hamper, searching for another. He could hear the murmurs and giggling and chuckling from behind him, and finally someone spoke up. “Shit, Derek you must be really good in bed.” He turned, raising an eyebrow at Stiles, who smirked and motioned to his back. “Your back is all scratched up.” Derek scowled at him and turned back to the dresser.

You ran over to him as soon as he announced he was leaving. Derek watched you run around the corner and you jumped up, your arms around his neck, your legs around his waist. He ran his hand through your hair as you clutched him tightly. “Please be careful.” You whispered, getting down and placing your hands on his chest, reaching up to kiss him. It was along, soft kiss, and you cherished it.

Scott went to walk out, and you grabbed his shoulder at the last second, pulling him in for a hug. “You be careful too. And make sure Derek doesn’t get himself killed.” Scott nodded and walked out. With a sigh, you ran your hand through your hair, pulled your coat on, and went home.

Hours passed, and still no word about anybody. Your parents had gone out for dinner, leaving you alone. You paced around the living room, biting your nails- an old nervous habit. When you heard a knock at the door, you ran to get it. As soon as you opened the door, you knew something was wrong. Isaac, Stiles, and Scott were all crowded on the small front porch. “Can we come in?” You nodded weakly.

“Where’s Derek?” Isaac shoved his hands in his pockets, shaking his head. Scott and Stiles glanced between each other, and finally Stiles spoke up.

He took a step closer, “Y/N, Scott told me after the fight was over, that Derek died. I’m sorry, he’s gone.” You shook your head, tears building in your eyes. Finally, they flowed over, running freely down your cheeks.

You screamed as you collapsed to the floor, your knees hitting against the carpet harshly. You put your head in your hands, bawling and screaming, and calling out for Derek. Isaac watched you helplessly, a single tear rolling down his cheek. Another sob racked your body, Derek’s name falling off of your lips countless times. Scott bent down, pulling you up and leaning his back against the couch.

You didn’t have enough strength to fight him, so you curled up in his chest, sobbing over your boyfriend’s death. How was the universe so cruel? You had finally found someone you could spend the rest of your life with, and he was yanked away just like that. Nothing could be worse at the moment.

For the rest of the night, you cried. Around three o’ clock in the morning, Scott was the only one still there, but he carried you up to your bed, cleaned you up, and tucked you neatly under the covers. Your cries didn’t stop until about an hour after that, when you finally fell asleep from exhaustion.

Even sleeping didn’t feel right. Sleeping was the enemy, because memories of you and Derek flashed across your mind. And finally you realized the fact that you had no one to save you from the fear of losing him.
