i understand the desire to have your gifs recognized by dan and phil, but they have reblogged gifs in the past, even if they rarely do it. but they are more likely to recognize/reblog art, because it takes significantly more effort and talent than making gifs. as a gif maker, i do understand the hard work that goes into it, but i make gifs because i like to, not because i'm looking for other people's validation.
ok so hey anon i don’t appreciate you getting salty in my inbox first of all. if i want to look for other people’s validation i can???? like,,,, yes i make gifs because i want to, but i also make them for all my followers and anybody who happens to come upon them. also how dare you say art is significantly more effort and talent than making gifs??? like yes for me it is, but for other people it isn’t?? photoshop takes a lot of effort to navigate and learn, and i’m still learning today. some people are naturally good at art and can’t make gifs at! all! sometimes it takes me well over an hour to make a gifset and days to just even think of an idea and execute it. and art comes in all different things??? like my five year old cousin’s drawing of the sun she did is art, but also my friend’s 4 hour painting of a landscape is art. one person has significantly more experience than the other, but it’s still art when it comes down to it. i’ve gone a bit off track but??? you can’t say that art takes more talent and effort than making gifs because it isn’t true. also if i want to say i want to get noticed i can so
