Loved your latest FE comic, but I wouldn't consider Karel to be an "edgelord" given that he developed between the two games he was in. His role as the 'Sword Demon' is an anti-hero, not a villain. And of course, not all anti-heroes were once villainous. It bugs me when some fans exaggerate his character and think of him as something he never was. Seriously, he's not the edgiest character in the franchise. Geez.

Are we reading the same caption anon? HAVE WE PLAYED THE SAME GAME EVEN? Because I must be very stupid to not read my own captions properly because I don’t think I said ANYTHING you just accused me of

EDIT: Have you seen Karel’s FE7 supports bc I have and you can’t tell me this isn’t edgy af

When did you know you wanted to marry your husband?

That’s a funny story. The first day after I met my husband I asked my friend about him, prolly 15 times. Hahah. That next week I met him for the second time and we clicked over George Straight - I Got A Car.
And than we started talking video games (Mario) and how I liked Marvel Heroes but liked DC Villains. He just clicked to me and I became unbelievably obsessed with him every time I talked to him or seen him.
I was full blown in love with him about two weeks after we started dating. I knew as he talked music and comic books with me at a bonfire that I was going to marry him. Here we are two years later 💜

Sehun: “I’ll be the villain, just play the game,” huh?

Luhan: …!

Sehun: Me and you. We are exactly the same. Now put that thing aside, I’m in no mood to fight.

Sehun being as smart as ever when sensing that a fight against Luhan would most probably be his last, while playing with his opponent’s mind to ensure a safe escape…

However, is he telling the truth? Powerful beings who are bored can and will do anything to entertain themselves. So who is the real villain? That is an easy question - of course the one who ran out of luck.

The element of Wind goes hand in hand with mind spells and Rihtspell certainly puts pressure on its people to know the human body and mind to every single atom and chemical reaction.

Relationship Goals! The 20 Best Comic Book Couples
Love Is Always In The Air With The 20 Best Comic Book Couples

#9 Batman and Catwoman

The relationship between Batman and Catwoman is complex, because Catwoman is complex. Sometimes, Catwoman is a hero. Other times, Catwoman is a villain. Batman is always caught between wanting to arrest her and wanting to make love to her.

First appearing in “Batman” #1 in 1940 as “the Cat,” Selina Kyle has evolved into one of his most formidable villains. Catwoman engages Batman in a chess game, with him trying to reform her while she uses him to pursue her own interests. Although she’s supposed to be an enemy of Batman, Catwoman has her own moral code that’s even led her to team up with Batman. She’s a gray area in Batman’s usually strict moral code by being a combination of good and evil. He’s attracted to her because she’s a female version of himself: a dark creature that prowls the night, straddling the line between right and wrong.

While we’re always rooting for Batman to find love, we know it’s more important for him to fight crime, which is why we love watching him pursue Catwoman and fight villains at the same time.

Dredd speech - I Am the Law (HD) BEST QUALITY

One of the greatest movie scenes of all time.

Because, Dredd is all, yes, I am the hero. You can’t stop me. And you villains are all fucked.

And the reason it works so well? The villains know fine well they can’t stop him and are fucked. So all they can do is simply squirm.

A comic book film where the hero realizes he has the 100% the upper hand and isn’t some plucky underdog fighting against the odds.

It’s the opposite of most standard Marvel/DC films in that respect.

While Yellowjacket makes a decent villain here (in the comics, of course, he was actually one of Hank’s later identities, after Giant-Man and Goliath), I am tired of this Marvel movie trope where the bad guy has the same powers as the hero. The Hulk fought the Abomination, who is just a bad Hulk. Spider-Man fights Venom, who is just a bad Spider-Man. Iron Man fights Ironmonger, a bad Iron Man. Yawn. I want more films where the hero and the villain have wildly different powers. That makes the action much more interesting.

George R.R. Martin

The Game of Thrones author makes a good point about Marvel’s problematic villains.
