Lademacherand Princess Alexandra, her maternal uncle and paternal aunt. Liam, fourth in line to the Luxembourgish throne, was christened at the Vatican in Vatican City and his godparents were Prince
and Anna Maria Pamin, his paternal uncle and a friend of his parents’.

The Duchess of Cambridge extended a one-day visit to Luxembourg at the request of Queen Elizabeth II. This is the Duchess’ second solo overseas visit on behalf of the royal family, and it was requested by HM to mark commemorations of the 150th Anniversary of the Treaty of London. A series of engagements celebrating the historic and cultural ties between the UK and Luxembourg completed the itinerary for the Duchess’ visit with Princess Stéphanie, Hereditary Grand Duchess of Luxembourg, and her husband Prince Guillaume.
