Request: If your requests are still open can you do a Damian x Reader imagine where she’s a distant relative of Alfred who lives in England and she came to Gotham to make a surprise for him during school vacations and when she saw Damian at the Manor is just love at first sight (for both). LOTS OF FLUFF! (+ points if he compliments her about her accent). Btw your blog is amazing and you are too!

Note: I hope you get the reference i put in the end from an older fic of mine

“Oh bloody hell!” You squealed loudly the moment the enormous door of the Wayne Manor opened as you watched your suitcase’s wheel roll away from your sight. The sound though, of the door opening to welcome you in made your eyes avert to the person standing behind it. Your darling uncle in his usual butler costume standing proudly before you with a smile on his wrinkled face.

“Oh hello uncle!” You said and your face lit up, your mind soon forgetting about your old and raggy suitcase as you wrapped your arms around your uncle. “How have you been? I haven’t seen you in so many years”

With a pat on your back and a “very nice indeed” your uncle motioned you to break the hug and set your gaze to another person in the room.

“Master Damian-” Alfred started although was soon interrupted by the so called man.

“Got it Alfred I’ll carry her suitcases” Damian grunted and walked past you. His ignorance for your presence though got to you and it wasn’t long before you opened your mouth to speak.

“You can at least say hello Mr Wayne rudeness won’t get you anywhere”

“Don’t call me that!” Damian snapped and greeted his teeth at you. He still hadn’t laid eyes on your face but on the instant he did, he couldn’t take them off. There were hundreds of girls surrounding him at university, either begging for a date or simply his attention and even though he had tried to make a move on some of them that he liked, the moment he set his eyes on you he felt like he never wanted to look at any other female. Ever.

A wave of cold sweat run through you as your eyes locked with his emerald ones. They were dazzling and fierce. No magazine picture or huge poster could actually capture their glow and all the emotions they seemed to carry. In a weird and twisted way you were glad you had rotated him as much as to make him look at you with this intense stare.

Your stomach was taking quick turns as you stood there, so dumbfounded by his presence that you couldn’t move. It was your uncle that snapped you out of your daydream about your life with Damian all the while you stared deep in his eyes.

“(Y/n), let me lead you to your room, where master Damian can put all your stuff.”

With an empty nod you averted your gaze from Damian and onto your uncle. It felt as if he was taking a part from you, something you needed in order to breath and survive.

Even Damian felt as if the electricity that run through his body while you two had locked your gazes was burning him from the absence of your gaze. It had suddenly became essential to him. Good thing you were going to be here all summer until he started his new semester.

Damian proceeded to follow you and Alfred upstairs, even though he was quickly stopped by Tim.

“That some hot as hell accent right?”

“You stay the fuck away Drake. Or this time I’ll nom nom you for real”

Bi The Way - Calendiles & Fuffy

for @jenny-calendar on calendiles day!

read on ao3!

Jenny and Giles find Faith and Buffy in a compromising situation, and everyone’s bi.

(Except for Faith who’s gay as hell.)

“You know, it is just as easy to bring some healthy snacks with you from home as it is to buy treats from the vending machine. I was under the impression that all the students knew to steer clear of there, let alone the teachers… Would you, ah, like me to go shopping with you sometime?”

Jenny laughed airily. “Rupert, I appreciate your concern, but I’m fine. I’ve been picking out my own meals since I was twelve you know.”

“Yes, well…I’m sure that’s part of the problem.” Giles muttered under his breath as he tried to stop a packet of mini donuts from falling off the pile he was carrying and onto the floor. Jenny mock glared at him.

When they reached the door, she turned around and smiled. “Really, I’m fine…I make it a habit to eat something green and leafy once in a while too, you know. But if you insist, I’ll let you cook me a healthy meal tonight to make up for this,” she gestured at the packets of sugary processed food she held in her arms. “How does that sound?” She leaned in slowly and gave him a soft but lingering kiss.

When she pulled away Giles cleared his throat. “Ahmm…yes, well… Of course I know you can take care of yourself. I just feel—protective…ah, you could say. I’m sorry. Let me know when I’m going overboard and I’ll stop.”

“No, it’s okay. To be perfectly honest…sometimes I like to feel like I’m being taken care of. Just don’t tell anyone, okay? I don’t want to ruin my reputation as the most self sufficient teacher here.” She giggled at his indignant look. “And I would love for you to come shopping with me. The grocery store tends to lack for romantic options.”

“C’mon B, this is boring as hell. Let’s get out of here.” Faith tapped her pencil on top of a History of Slayers book she was supposed to be reading. It was closed.

“No Faith. You promised you would help me research this. Now come on, sit down and help me look.”

Faith blew her breath out. “B, this is ridiculous. You’re not into me ‘cause we’re both slayers, okay? You’re just into chicks, period. Hate to break it to you.”

“You don’t know that. I mean I never was ‘into chicks’ before I met you, so. It could be some kind of weird slayer-connection fluke thing…”.

Faith grinned. “I’m pretty sure it’s just ‘cause I’m super hot, but whatever helps you sleep at night.”

Buffy rolled her eyes. “Look, I just want to know, okay? If I am just into chicks then…whatever. It’s fine. I just want to make sure. I mean, I like guys too so…I just don’t get it.”

“Yeah, yeah, we all heard about you and Angel’s epic love, okay? You don’t need to point it at whenever there’s an opportunity.”

“I’m trying to say can people even like…both?”

“Sure, B. People can like whatever they like. Will you just trust me? Now c’mon, I know you hate researching too. I can think of something a lot more fun that we could be doing…”.

I'm going to be doing a study abroad to central Queensland university from one of the snowiest cities in America- any advice?

ohhh man. which campus are you at?? because there’s a lot of regional differences depending on where you’re visiting

  • if your campus is actually in queensland, prepare yourself for heat and humidity
  • no matter the campus:
  • if you’re coming over in summer (when are you getting here?) it’s going to be much hotter than you’re used to, and the australian sun is fierce. make sure you have sunscreen and a cute, stylish wide brimmed hat to wear if you’re going to be out in the sun for an extended period of time and please do not attempt to sunbake/sunbathe/deliberately lie in the sun to tan, you will burn to a crisp
  • prepare yourself for flies. they’re disgusting and they’re everywhere and you’ll quickly become accustomed to swatting them away. again, this is much, much, much worse in summer
  • we don’t tip. some cafes and restaurants will have tip jars but it’s not expected. everything is expensive because our workers are paid a liveable wage, we live off our income, not tips
  • wait staff generally won’t come and check up on you during your meal. if you want something, you have to get their attention
  • if you were planning on travelling around australia while here you’ll need a lot of time. a lot of people don’t seem to realise we’re actually pretty much the same size as the U.S.A. you can’t just hop from one city to the next
  • speaking of, there’s a lot of empty, natural space. everyone lives right on the coast, and if you go just a few kilometres inland there’s bush pretty much everywhere. there’s lovely bushwalks to do if you’re keen on some nature sight seeing
  • our power switches are individual!!!! you can’t just flick a switch and have the entire bloody room charged with electricity. you plug things in and then turn the individual plugs on and off as needed. it’s a much better system!!!!
  • no one drinks fosters beer pls dont
  • in australia you will drink the first true coffee of your life. percolated, drip-fed coffee is disgusting and frankly the entire country of america should be ashamed. we take our coffee very seriously here (melbourne, particularly, is colloquially known as the coffee capital of the world) and there are so many types to choose from: flat white, cappuccino, latte, mocha - and that’s before you even get into the different flavours!! try them all
  • cadbury chocolate puts hershey’s to shame make the most of it while you’re here
  • don’t try to eat vegemite by the spoonful, you need to spread it really thinly over a piece of buttered toast - so thin you can see the butter through the vegemite - and then layer a slice of cheese over the top
  • our internet is terrible. laggy, drops out, over priced and just generally shit. free wifi is still sorta rare-ish?? mobile data is so expensive. i am sorry
  • i don’t like it, but a lot of people use the c-word here. it’s become almost a complimentary, joking term between friends
  • wild kangaroos are not for petting, they will fight you, and they will win
  • don’t feed seagulls, you’ll never escape them if you do
  • drink and meal sizes are much, much, much smaller than you’re used to in america. like i think a large drink from australian mcdonalds is the same size as a medium from american mcdonalds?
  • mcdonalds is called maccas
  • if you go to the beach, swim between the red and yellow flags!!! they symbolise the safe area to swim, where there are no rips/dangerous currents
  • ‘bogan’ is generally, roughly comparable to ‘redneck’
  • thongs = flip flops
  • if a homeless person/anyone approaches you asking for money, just say, “sorry i don’t have any cash on me” without making prolonged eye contact and keep briskly walking
  • in general, aussies are weird about people who brag. be subtle about it
  • if a shop assistant says to you, “are you all right?” they mean, “do you need any help or are you okay on your own?” either ask for help or say, “just looking/i’m okay, thanks”
  • no worries = no problems
  • if someone says, “my shout” it means they’re paying for you
  • we drive on the left. be careful when crossing roads

Dear Journal,

Today Regulus arrived in the early morning. Sirius was waiting by the door until we heard a few knocks. He quickly opened the door and threw himself in his little brothers arms. I decided to give them some privacy so I walked downstairs to the library. I still needed to place a few books around. While looking through my own books, I found the one Johnny gave me. That sweet boy. I opened the book to the first page and read is message written in a neat handwritting. I knew these few sentences by heart.

“Dear Remus, I hope you will like this book. It made me think of us. While reading it, I felt like It was you and me. Without you, my life would’ve been different. You helped me accept who I was even though boys who like other boys are not seen in a good way sometimes. You are the big brother I never had and the one I always wished for. Thank you a thousand times. I hope you won’t forget me, because i’ll never forget you.

-Johnny. ”

I smiled to myself thinking about the little boy. At least now, no one would bully him again and he had his new boyfriend Freddie. He gave me his mom’s address so I could write to him. I picked up a pretty letter paper and started writing.

“Dear Johnny, I really miss you! I hope your summer is going well. Here, Sirius and I are doing good! Our appartement is finished and everything looks just the way I imagined it. I just found the book you gave me in my boxes! I’m going to put it on my night table by my bed so I can see it everyday and think of you. I’ve seen a few books that I think you would like so I wrote them down on a stickynote and when you’ll come and visit, I’ll have some for you! But for now, I’m sending you this letter with a book i found in a corner of my dusty library! If i read the title right, it should be the sequel to our book! I really hope you like it! I’ll see you soon!

-Remus ”

I folded the letter paper and slid it in an enveloppe. My owl flew away with the letter and the book in it’s claws. I walked upstairs and saw Sirius and Regulus on the couch, both laughing at something Regulus said. I’m glad they were happy.

“Hey Remus!” Regulus smiled.

“Hey buddy! How are you holding up?” I said, sitting behind Sirius with my legs around Him.

“Good. At least i’m with Sirius.” He smiled.

“How about we have a movie night with pizza?” I asked the two brothers.

“Didn’t we ate pizza yesterday babe?” Sirius asked.

“Who cares? I’m sure Reg wants some pizza! Do you Reg?” I asked, smiling.

“Of course I want pizza! Come on Sirius! Movie night is nothing without pizza!” Regulus laughed.

“Okay then!” Sirius smiled.

So we had another movie night with pizza. All three of us sitting on the couch. Sirius cuddled to me on one side and his brother on the other.

Sirius x Reader / Three meters

Get ready for sappy angst and bad interpretations of good characters…

Sirius Black loved many people. You, James, Remus and Peter. Most of his teachers, Peeves and even on occasion, he was known to admit loving his brother. He did not, however, love his father and he certainly didn’t love his mother.

Hardest Goodbye

Who: Josh Dun

Trigger warning: None (at least I think so, if not, please tell me!)

Word count: 1329

You never thought that saying goodbye could be so hard. But it is. And you tried your best to hide the tears that threatened to fall, just to make it not any harder for Josh and you.

He never let go of your hand, since you stepped in the airport. You never liked them. It just reminded you that you were about to fly back home, leaving Josh behind. For god knows how long.

“I don’t want to do this. Screw university, I’m gonna stay here. With you.” You looked up to your boyfriend, who couldn’t help to hide the little smile that crept onto his face. His eyes, though, they remained sad. Knowing that you couldn’t do what you just said.

“Babe… we both know how badly I want you to stay here. But you have to go back, your family misses you, your summer break is over and your classes start in a few days. I would never let you drop out of college, just for me. Your education is too important.”

“But you’re more important! We don’t even know when we will see us again. If we even see us again…”

Your gaze fell to the floor. You couldn’t help to stop your running thoughts. Or the tears that started to fall. It wasn’t that easy. You didn’t live in the united states. No, you lived all the way to Europe. Where you attended university, or college how Josh always said. You tried your best with visiting, whenever you had a break you flew over, stayed at his place or went on tour with him. But sometimes your money just didn’t allow you to visit as often as you’d like. And since you would never let him pay for you, the months grew longer without seeing your boyfriend.

Josh did his best as well, flying to you whenever his schedule allowed him to, but since the band grew more and more famous, it got even harder to find enough time. This was probably the last visit for the next half year, he would start his tour through America and you had classes to attend. And your breaks didn’t add up this time.

“(Y/N), we already talked about this! I will see you again and you will see me again. You will not get rid of me. I won’t let you go. I love you with all of my being, I would never let something like that happen.”

Even though you knew that Josh was probably right, you couldn’t help your fear of losing him. He could meet someone else, someone who was able to be there, someone who could go on tour with him, someone who would help him when he was feeling down. You couldn’t do much, being on the other side of the planet. Phone calls and text messages, video chats, all of that grows tiring after some time. And when this happens, you will lose him entirely.

“I wanna stay here, with you…”

“Baby… we will work this out, I promise you. Time will fly by and I will have you in my arms again, alright? I love you so much.”

Instead of saying anything, you wrapped your arms around his neck and kissed him. Even though the kiss was simple, it held all of your emotions. The fear, the sorrow, the love. It grew more and more desperate, none of you wanted to end it. But of course, the computer voice had to interrupt you two.

“Flight 5273 is ready for boarding. I repeat, Flight 5273 is ready for boarding.”

You buried your head in Josh’s chest, knowing that this flight was yours, back home. But was it really home? Without Josh?

The tears just flow out of your eyes, your sobs getting more and more uncontrollable. You hated this moment. The final goodbye.

“I love you so much, you have no idea.” You murmured against his chest. “We will do this. Maybe I’m gonna skip some classes and fly to one of your shows, I don’t want to miss it.”

“You know that I don’t want you to do that, (Y/N). But I know too, that I can’t prevent you from doing what you have fixed in your head.” Josh laughed quietly. “You’re so stubborn and I love that. I will miss you, don’t forget to greet your family from me, okay?”

You nodded, smiling lightly at the thought of seeing your parents and siblings again. After all, you were a whole month away.

For the last time, Josh cupped your cheeks and pulled your lips to his. Instead of all the emotions, it held earlier, this kiss was full of promises. You were going to see him again. You two will do this. What is distance, when you love the person more than anything else? Love is strong. Especially yours.

With a last ‘I love you’, you grabbed onto your carry on and made your way to the gate. You couldn’t help to look one last time back, back to Josh. And the sight almost killed you. He was standing alone, head held low with tears streaming down his face.

Even though you were already running late and the gates were about to be closed, you had to turn around, back to him. Hugging him one last time. You didn’t want the last image of your boyfriend in your head, be him crying over your departure.

As soon as you crushed into his arms, almost making him fall, he looked back up to you. Suprised.

“Please stop crying, or I won’t leave.”

“Well, then I might as well don’t stop.” He chuckled, making you smile. You gave him a last quick, meaningful kiss. And then another one. And another one. You couldn’t stop peppering his whole face with little kisses. His cheeks, his nose, his lips. You just couldn’t let him go, you didn’t have strength to walk away.

“Even though I really don’t want you to leave, you have to go now, or else you will miss your flight. Which wouldn’t be too bad - I just want to drag you home with me and never ever let you go. But your family misses you and I wouldn’t want them to hate me for stealing their daughter.” Josh chuckled lightly, trying to make the whole situation a little easier.

“I guess you’re right, but at least you’re not crying anymore.” You smiled at him. “If I see you crying again, it won’t end good for ya, okay? I don’t want you to feel bad because of me, I’m supposed to make you happy, not cry.” You murmured the last part.

“And you do make me happy, more than anyone else ever before, never forget that, okay? Now go, before I change my mind and take you back home with me.”

Instead of telling him that you wouldn’t mind that, you leaned in for a last kiss. Before you even noticed it, Josh pulled away and ushered you to go.

As you walked away, you blew him one kiss, since it was somewhat a tradition for the two of you. Josh acted like he caught it and put his hand over his heart.

“I LOVE YOU!” He practically screamed to you, from the other side of the hall.

“AND I LOVE YOU!” And with that, you passed the gate. The lady at the register chuckled lightly, murmuring something like ‘young love’. Even if you wouldn’t see your boyfriend for a really long time, you couldn’t help to grin. You just had to focus on all the great memories you made on this visit and then time will fly by. You kept on replaying his words. “I won’t let you go. I won’t let you go. I won’t let you go.”

Josh was right, you were going to see him again. He loves you and you love him. Everything will work out, between the two of you and the distance.

  1. Ah man, the thought of possibly going to UCSD for college. I never dreamed of it and applied on a whim, but yeah, it seems nice now that I got in. I think I will go there. It’s by the ocean and not too far from home. Plus, today I got a pretty neat scholarship from them. Not sure if they give it to all of their students because a friend of mine got it too, but idk. It was a lot of money.
  2. Argentinian Spanish is like… my new favorite thing. (I’m watching this telenovela called ½ Falta - or “Media Falta” - for my class and it’s pretty good for a 2005 show for teenagers. Go watch it on YouTube if you want! It can get a little cheesy, but it does try to bring good messages.)
  3. Egg tarts. Eggs in general.
  4. Loads of art supplies. I don’t care what quality they are; I love them all. Even if I find a ruddy pencil left behind, I love it. Scratch paper? Useful. Who cares if I have 3 unfinished sketchbooks and 50 pens.
  5. All of you guys. You rock, and I mean it. Shout out to @takeabreathandsmile / @chiscribbles4smiles. She is a meadow of flowers and a ball of sunshine.
