Remove Unwanted Negative Energy In All Its Forms—- No harsh words, negative thoughts, anxious emotions, troubling senses. Just complete silence, your hands, some herbs from the pantry, garden, or kitchen, a mortar and pestle, a cauldron or burning bowl, and a feather of choice.
Take 3 Tablespoons each of lavender flower buds, ground sage, optional mint leaves (up to your scent of choice), and basil. Grind and pound these things together into a powder as best as you can and store in a glass mason jar or any plastic container.
Drop 2 drops Patchouli, 1 drop peppermint, 1 drop Rosemary, and 3 drops Rose Geranium into the jar/container and shake loosely for a few minutes. You may imbue affirmations and incantations into this mixture for protection, defense, purity, wellness, health, and harmony.
Add some of this powder into a cauldron or fireproof bowl and light with a match. It will burn all by itself in your room of choice as a natural incense or you may walk the grounds and halls to cleanse with a feather. I like to play “Om Mani Padme Hum” from my phone in my back pocket as I move about for entities or super nasty vibes and such. :) Namasté
Hey, I was just wondering if you have an opinion on herbs that are essential for a beginner witch, just to start getting my herb pantry stocked? fyi, I love your blog. Blessed be.
They’re not all herbs (some are just regular plants) but I would definitely recommend the following, as I use them a lot:
You will also need a lot of basically anything found in your kitchen (salt [a ton of salt], basil, parsley, thyme, oregano, pepper, honey, etc.). Raiding the pantry is almost always bound to bring up something of magickal use.
I forgot to share this here! I visited my local herb pantry earlier this week and really hit it off with the woman who runs it. We talked for a little over an hour, it was a great experience. She even let me come into her bedroom to meet her cat again c:
Mandrake root, valerian root, super blue lavender, pitted rose hips, rose petals and buds (I will run out before Mrs M’s are ready), crysanthemum, white, red and black peppercorns and anise seeds.
