I really like Svetlana Savelieva. A perfect physique, great technique, so expressive and I love her red hair! Do you think she will go far? - Allison
I certainly hope so! She’s my favourite student at VBA! I completely agree with everything you’ve said. The only problem she has is that she appears to get really nervous during shows and, consequently, makes mistakes. I hope she learns to handle her nerves because she’s absolutely stunning, very musical and very expressive! I get a vague Ulyana vibe from her… Fingers crossed Sveta will live up to her full potential.
Let’s take a look at some VBA exam footage, shall we? For the uninitiated, Sveta is the redhead front and centre of the group.
I really wanted to draw the first fusion version of Garnet since I saw her! This was a little challenge to practice somewhat more simple set-up comic pages that look flashy yet don’t tire me out. There are things I would redo but I’m trying to learn to keep moving forward rather than nitpicking.

“I’m going to be completely honest here. When I first heard that [tyler] was going to be writing a book, because I was very biased about youtuber books at the time, I thought, great. It’s going to be some self-indulgent crap, because that was sort of the perception I had of youtubers in their 20’s writing books about their life, I’m like, you haven’t even lived your life. This book changed my opinion on youtubers writing books, honestly, and to be able to do that, you know it must be a good book.”
#i just want to know if the way she pushes his hair out of the way is something talia probably did for them as children #some sort of comforting small touch to make them feel better when they felt sick #or was it just instinct for cora to touch her brother in a very simple but comforting way because he needed it or maybe she needed it #to make sure her brother was okay #im just very emotional and i wish they would have explored their relationship more
