her smile is the actual best

Some really good things in Voltron Legendary Defender:

  • Hunk’s big strong hands and the very delicate motions he makes with them
  • the way Keith’s voice squeaks sometimes if he’s trying to raise his voice (see: “We had a bonding moment!”)
  • How in the episode Shiro’s Escape Shiro woke up from remembering his time in captivity to the entire team smiling at him and happy to see him.
  • How super nonjudgmental Lance was about Keith not getting the cheer, like. corrects him gently
  • Allura. just Allura. she is everything childhood me aspired to. She is an actual disney princess who can crush space-age metal with her bare hands. Has mice friends. Is a terrifyingly powerful sorceress.
  • The whole fact that Shiro is a hugger, like. season 3 wishlist: I want to see Shiro hug everyone on the team at least once. Since Hunk is also a hugger they get The Best Hug.
  • How sad Pidge and Hunk were to split up in Belly Of The Weblum
  • Basically as early as s1e2 Coran just has this gaggle of aliens show up in his house and his response is to basically just adopt them all. You know who’s the real Space Dad on this ship. He has juice boxes
  • I mean look at this proud dad, presiding paternally over his strange space children. (also Keith, my boy, why are you sticking only one leg out like that)
  • Pidge’s space caterpillar friends
  • Everyone’s laser sound effects
  • The Lions are ancient super powerful beings but basically everyone on the team has adopted this very affectionate gentle way of talking to them and it’s just the most endearing thing ever.

The Bulletin Board

In Draco’s opinion, the best part of the small flat in which he and Harry lived was the bulletin board next to their front door. Harry had insisted on hanging it up when they moved in, saying Hermione had one in her bedroom when they were younger and it helped to keep life from getting too messy. Draco wasn’t sure what he’d meant by that (Harry was the messiest person he’d ever met), and although he found it tacky and strange (as he found most muggle inventions), Harry put it up on the wall.

Draco wasn’t sure what it was for, exactly, but for some odd reason it seemed to make Harry happy, so he never took it down. For the first couple of weeks, there was a singular picture of Ron and Hermione with a cactus sticker Draco’d won in a claw machine at the pizza parlor for Teddy’s birthday. He finally began to catch on after a bit and the board became the place on which they hung and stuck the things with which their most positive memories were tied.

Pinned in the middle was a photostrip taken in a booth at Hermione and Ron’s wedding with a muggle camera. Draco wasn’t sure how it worked and was still confused to this day as to why the picture wouldn’t move. He didn’t like the way his face was frozen in that stubborn frown before Harry shut him up with the next flash. That night was full of drunken dancing and karaoke, and at one point, Draco had an epic duet with Ron  to a muggle song neither of them knew the words to.

Harry had a knack for finding some of the most humiliating pieces of Draco’s past and pinning them permanently to the board with magic when he wasn’t looking. He’d dug through Draco’s old trunk and found the Pro’s and Con’s list Draco had made regarding his feelings for Harry sometime during fifth or sixth year. He’d also somehow kept the drawing Draco had folded into a paper crane and blown to him like a kiss during their third year in school (the ridicule for that one never truly seemed to end) along with his very own “Potter Stinks” badge he’d acquired during fourth year. They were all big hits during dinner parties with their old schoolmates.

When they first started dating, Harry had insisted on taking Draco to the reptile house to check up on the snakes because he hadn’t been since he was a kid. Draco turned his head for what seemed like five seconds and when he looked back at Harry, he’d gotten a python out of its enclosure and started a . According to Harry, it hadn’t been the first time he’d done it (Draco still had questions about that), and Draco snapped a picture of Harry and the friendly python, deeply entrenched in what seemed to be a simply enthralling conversation, with his disposable camera. The flash had startled the snake and he ended up escaping. The picture was up on the board the day they came back from the developer.

The board next to their door was a shrine of the best things: Pride buttons, a necklace Teddy had given Draco for Christmas, notes left around the house, all little tidbits of the their tangled timeline. Each addition was a new milestone; a reminder that they didn’t need to leave every part of their past behind them, because not every part of their past was full of negativity or hatred, and their future didn’t have to be, either.

I Love You

Prompt: Can you do a batsis imagine where she knows she’s going to die and she’s says her goodbyes and everyone thinks she’s just being sentimental and don’t take her seriously and are ‘ok, love you’. Until she’s actually dead do they realise that she knew she was going to die please? Thanks

Requested by: ANON

AN: Last week’s session produced some really angsty prompts, so enjoy.

“Alfred, you make the best cookies.”

The older man smiles, “A high compliment coming from you, Miss Wayne.”

You smile and rest your head on the counter. You take in the sounds of Alfred’s cooking and the smell of food. The combination makes you feel safe. It reminds you of good times.

Cracking your eyes open, you find Alfred smiling at you. You smile back and say, “I love you Alfred. You know that, right?”

    “Always, Miss Wayne. Always.”

_____________________

You focus on the screen, determined to beat Tim into the ground. Sure enough, your car comes in first. You jump up and do a ridiculous victory dance before typing your name into the winner’s spot. Tim stares at you with a raised eyebrow. You stare back for a moment, before grabbing a pillow and whacking him in the head.

It turns into an all out pillow fight. By the time you’re done, you’re both lying on the floor surrounded by feathers. You grin as Tim sneezes. Smiling you say, “I love you Tim, you know that, right?”

He stares at you for a minute, “I figured that out the first time you let me win at Mario Kart.” You just smile.

You cling to Jason for dear life. You try to bury your head under the blanket, but the sound still gets through. Jason wraps an arm around your shoulders, “I don’t know why you put yourself through these movies.”

You peek out from under the blanket, and find the television screen gore free, “‘Cause you love these horrible things.”

He smiles, “Are you sure Bruce is your dad? You hate violence, gore, and anything remotely scary.”

You smile, “He’s my dad, just like you’re my brother.”

He smiles at you, “And you’re my little sister.” He pulls you close as another scary scene comes up.

You bury your face in his shoulder and say, “I love you Jason.”

    “I love you too squirt.”

    “This gelato is amazing.”

Dick smiles at you, “Told you Blüdhaven isn’t that bad.”

You roll your eyes, “It’s too far away.”

    “It’s thirty minutes away.”

    “Still too far.”

“Anything outside the manor is too far for you.”

“Which is why you should move home.”

You both grin at each other, knowing that it won’t happen. Dick’s been gone for two years now, and as much as you miss him, you cherish these brother-sister days. He wraps you in a hug, careful of your gelato, “You’re welcome to come and visit anytime.”

“Even if Barbara is over?” He hesitates, “What about Kori?”

    “Ummm…”

    “Oh, how about Zee?”

He squeezes you tight before letting go, “You are welcome anytime.”

You sigh, “I love you Dick, you know that right?”

“I know, baby sister. Forever and always.”

You lean back in your seat and watch as your younger brother shifts gears, “I think you’re a fine driver.”

    “I’m better than you.”

“A dog is better than me.” Damian smiles.

“So what’s with sneaking out the Batmobile?”

You shrug, “I like the looks on the bad guys’ faces as we drive by.”

“Father will be mad if he finds out.”

“He’s off world. He won’t find out.”

“As long as we stay away from the martians.” Damian adds.

You nod, “As long as we stay away from the martians.”

There’s a moment of silence before you say, “I love you, Dami.”

    “I love you too.”

You nod, “Good, then open this baby up, and let’s see what she can do!”

You wait for him to come in. You’re lying on the couch, draped in a blanket. He stares at you from the doorway, he looks at you as though he doesn’t know you. When you try to sit up, he motions you down. He walks over to you, and sits down next to you.

You sit up enough that you can snuggle into his side. He strokes your hair for a moment, before he says, “You should have contacted me.”

    “You were off world.”

    “There are ways and you’re…”

“Dying? Yep. Have been for over three months apparently.”

    “And there’s nothing?”

You look up at your dad, “It’s too far gone. Nothing they can do. I checked. Double and triple checked.”

“I would have come home. I would have spent time with you.”

You smile up at him, “A lot of people would have died if you’d done that. Plus it gave me a chance to say goodbye to my brothers.”

    “Do they know?”

You shake your head, “Nope. I don’t want them to.”

He nods, and pulls you closer, “We can’t escape death.” He still doesn’t say anything.

“Be grateful, daddy.”

“How the hell can I be grateful when you’re…?”

You smile, “We get to say goodbye. I’m sorry that I have to leave you behind. I know you hate that, but… we get closure.”

    “Closure?”

You nod, “You get to know that I’m not scared. That I’m leaving a lot of pain behind. You get to know that I love you. You get to hear it.”

You feel tears drip onto your face, and you reach up to wipe a few off your father’s face, “I love you, daddy.”

He’s crying now, “I love you too baby girl.”

And with a smile you fall asleep.

you know, in the summer, sana and isak and even will hang out at this park with a basketball court and sana will bring her ball and it’ll be 20:00 on a friday night, and the sun will still be up but it’ll be a little colder, with a gentle breeze, and it’ll be sana’s favorite weather. and the first time the boys try shooting hoops, isak is actually pretty damn good at it, and sana is like “hmm, not bad, not bad!” and isak smiles wide at her and replies “just admit that i’m really good, a master, the best you’ve seen all year, the -” and then even is wrapping an arm around his shoulders from behind, and he’s mouthing “blah blah blah” at sana and she starts laughing, and when isak notices, he gasps and smacks even’s arm

and the funniest thing is that even is actually really bad, he doesn’t manage one successful shot, no matter how close or far he is from the hoop. and sana is trying to teach him the right way to do it, and she says “you’re the tallest one here! you’re supposed to be naturally good at this!” and even sighs, little smile on his face and he says “i’m not sure that’s how it work”. and then they go get themselves popsicles and they eat them on a bench and at some point isak and even try to intertwine their arms to eat theirs, but it’s a little clumsy, and the popsicles are melting a little, and they’re giggling. and sana wants to tell them “you guys are the cheesiest couple i have ever seen in my entire life”, but instead she just sighs contentedly, because, yes, they are the cheesiest couple she has ever known, but they’re also some of the loveliest people she has ever met, and some of the best friends she has ever had, and she’s so glad she gets to spend some of her summer nights with them, and that they’d try to share her passion for basketball with her, making her laugh and have such a good time, and she wouldn’t trade them for anything

Just date - Jeff Atkins x reader

Request:  Hi :) Can you do a Jeff imagine where the reader is Bestfriends with Clay and Jeff notices that and is jealous at first but then asks clay for advice on how to ask her out and he’s super nervous and scared. Can you make it really fluffy :) :)

He was not jealous. Really. He wasn’t thinking about break Clay’s neck. He was just a little… Fine, he was jealous. He just couldn’t help it.

He and Clay were at the library, stuying for his history class, it was going well until she showed up with her funny glasses and her stupid perfect smile. She just smiled at him and then started to talk with Clay about some kind of nerd movie. She was so excited, her eyes had that cute sparkle and her voice was so sweet. And then she put his hand in Clay’s shoulders.

Fuck, that feeling in his stomach wasn’t going away. And he was sure he was looking so stupid right now. She talked a little more and then left saying a gentle “Goodbye” to him.

“Jeff?” Clay asked “Are you okey?” Yep. He was still looking at the door.

“Are you two dating?” The words left his mouth before he had the time to think about it. Clay started to laugh. He asked again “Did I said something funny?”

“Yeah. Me and Y/N… that’s funny. She’s my best friend, since we were kids. I thought you knew” Well, that’s good. So good. The relief should have showed up in his face because Clay looked at him with a smile.

“What?”

“You like her?” Clay asked. He ignored the question and pretended to look at his book. “C’mon, Jeff. Do you like Y/N?”

“Maybe” Clay raised his eyebrows “Fine. Yes, I like Y/N. Since I was ten, actually. But she’s out of my league” Clay started to laugh really loud “What?”

“Jeff, are you crazy? Oh my god. Y/N talks about you like you are some kind of god. She has the biggest crush on you” His heart started to beat faster. Oh god. Y/N Y/L/N had a crush on him.

“Jensen” he said “If you’re playing with me I swear…”

“Yeah, yeah. You are gonna kick my ass” Clay responded “You have to ask her out, so I can stop listen about your pretty eyes”

“She says I have pretty eyes?” He couldn’t help but smile.

“The prettiest in the whole damn world” Clay said, rolling his eyes. “Now let’s go back to work”

——-

He was walking in the hallway when he noticed her, talking with Hannah Baker. Y/N was laughing with her. Damn, she looked perfect.

Fine, Clay said she was good in Chemistry he just had to ask her for help and then they will start to talk and eventually the will end up dating. Yup. That was the plan. Easy.

Hell, no. That wasn’t easy, he started to walk to them, with his heart going crazy. He was there, standing right next to them, without talking. He just froze.

“Hey, Jeff” Hannah was the first one who noticed. Y/N turned around, confused. She smiled at him.

“Hey, girls” he started. “Hannah, can I burrow your friend for a minute?” Hannah looked at him and then at Y/N.

“Sure” she smiled, walking away.

“How can I help you, Jeff?” Y/N asked, confused. Well, Jeff. It’s your time, he thought.

“Clay said you are good in chemistry and I was wondering if you, mhm, if you can, you know, help me?” Damn, his hands were shacking.

“Sure” she said gently. “No problem, when do you want to start?” He was screaming inside but trying to keep it cool.

“Are you free today?” she nodded. “Well, today after school? At Monet’s? I’m tired of the library”

“Yeah, me too. Monet’s then” the bell rang “I have to go, Jeff, but I’ll see you there” she smiled, starting to walk.

“Yeah, fine. It’s a date!” he was not suppose to said that “I mean, a study-date” she laughed in the middle of the hallway.

“Just date is fine for me” and then she entered to her class.

They had a “just date”.

Say It Again - Jughead Jones

If requests are open, could you make a jughead x fem Reader where he never asked what her real name was (everyone just calls her by a nick name and has been doing so for years.) and when he finally figures it out and calls her by that name, the reader falls in love with the way it sounds when he says it. Sorry if it’s confusing, I just thought it’d be cute :)

Y/N/N = Your Nick Name

Y/N = Your (real/full) Name

L/N = Your Last Name

I loved this idea so much! I hope you like the way I wrote it!

The first time it was brought up was at the diner. You sat next to Jughead, and the two of you were sitting across from Betty and Veronica. You all were sharing stories from your childhoods, including Jughead, when it finally got to you.

“Y/N/N, did you ever have a nickname?” You smiled at Veronica, who had admitted a few of her own embarrassing nicknames.

“Y/N/N,” you replied, sipping at your milkshake.

“What,” Jughead asked and you laughed while turning to face him.

“Y/N/N is my nickname,” you said, but he still looked confused, “I’ve gone by Y/N/N my whole life. Even my parents use it rather than my actual name.”

“No, I get that,” he said, meeting your eyes, “but what’s your real name?” Veronica raised an eyebrow and Betty let out a laugh. “You’ve been best friends with Y/N/N for how long, and yet you still don’t know her full name?” Jughead squinted his eyes at Veronica and you let out a small giggle. “Now I have to know,” he said, turning to face you, but you just stared at him. “You’re a smart, independent, young man,” you said, causing Jughead to smile at you, “you can figure it out.” Betty rolled her eyes, “stop flirting you two, we’re trying to be nostalgic.” You felt a blush creep up onto your cheeks and with a glance at Jughead, you saw he was blushing too.

The second time it was brought up was at your locker door. School had ended and you were grabbing your jacket and text book out of your locker. Out of the corner of your eye you could see Jughead walking towards you, looking annoyed.

“What’s up Juggie,” you asked as he leaned against the lockers next to yours.

“So I went to the library during my free period,” he said and you started to close your locker door.

“Sounds adventurous,” you said, looking up and smiling at him.

“Ha! Very funny,” he said, “I went there looking to check out some yearbooks. When I asked for them she said, and I quote, ‘they’ve all been checked out.’”

You gave him a smug smile, “Hmm, how strange.” He nodded, “isn’t it?”

Naturally (Jeff Atkins, 13 reasons)

“I’m fucking illiterate. There’s no point in doing any of this work, Y/N” Jeff sunk lower in his chair. He looked around the library, tapping his pencil at a fast rate.

He hadn’t gotten above a C in English since his freshman year, and he’d never wanted to. That was, until he’d met Y/N.

She made him want to be better, above anything else. And when she offered to tutor him in English, he dropped Clay as his tutor. At least for that subject.

“Jeff, come on. Plenty of people still get homophones mixed up. Hell, when I review my papers I have to go through two different spell check systems because I make mistakes. Okay?” He pinched the bridge of his nose, a habit he had made, it was something he did when he was frustrated.

“Okay, they’re staring.” He looked at the table next to them, a few freshman and sophomores stared at them.

“Who cares, focus on your paper.” Y/N looked back down at her notes, she’d been doing her own homework at the same time as tutoring him. Jeff put a hand on her knee.

“I get that the wifi’s out at my house. But why can’t we go to your place again?” He laid his head down on the table so he could make eye contact with his girlfriend.

“For this exact reason. My dad’s not your biggest fan after last week. They don’t even want us alone upstairs with the door open. So the library will do.” She removed his hand from her knee.

Jeff smirked, remembering the prior week’s events.

“Maybe Clay should go back to being your only tutor. Oh, don’t give me that look, Atkins. You know I wanna help.” Y/N ran her hands through her boyfriend’s hair. He formed his lips into a pouting expression.

“Face it. I’m a lost cause. My girlfriend can’t get anything through my head. The smartest kid in school can’t get me to retain any information. I’m stupid.” He threw his pencil down and slammed his textbook shut, breathing heavily.

He believed it. He said it all the time. A C average GPA didn’t make anyone feel great. But with all of his friends being athletes, he was surrounded by those who thrived and could juggle both school work and sports.

“I’m never gonna get into college.” He said quickly, shaking his head.

“Jeff that’s not-” he continued before letting her finish, not even acknowledging that she’d begun to speak.

“No matter if I hit a home run every single time I’m up to bat this season, I won’t get into any college. Grades matter, Y/N. Being smart matters.”

He grabbed his backpack and stuffed all of his notes and his textbook into his backpack. After he jammed everything into the bag, he tried to zip it. He roughly yanked the bag around, trying as hard as he could before giving up by shoving the full bag off of the table. His hands covered his face, he was crying.

“Let’s go to the car.” Y/N grabbed his backpack, gently working the zippers until they finally shut. She swung the bag over her shoulder, keeping her messenger bag on her other shoulder.

“Come on.” She said firmly.

He scooted his chair out, getting up and walking out of the library faster than she’d anticipated. Y/N caught up with him, soon walking beside him, neither said a word.

“Sorry- I’m sorry if I made a scene.” He mumbled as the two approached his car.

“We need to talk. Even if you don’t want to.” She sighed, opening the passenger door and sliding in.

“You wanna know why I think I’m stupid? You, My own girlfriend gave up on me. Is it possible to sink lower than that?” Y/N handed Jeff his backpack, knowing that would force him to look at her.

“Why the hell would you say that?” Her eyebrows furrowed.

“I’m an idiot. What’s gonna happen when I don’t get into college? And I’m here for the rest of my life, still managing the batting cages. And you’re off at some big city actually living your life.” He was being honest about how he felt, that she knew for sure now.

“Stop it. But how the hell do you think this means I want to give up on you? I’d never. You’re giving up on yourself.” Y/N slid over the middle seat of his pick up truck and leaned her head on his shoulder.

“You don’t wanna tutor me. You can’t tutor me. I’m a lost cause, aren’t I? Even Clay gets frustrated ‘cause I can’t learn.” Jeff snaked his arm around her shoulders.

She looked at him. He knew she’d get frustrated. He knew she’d say it was untrue. But it wasn’t untrue. It just wasn’t.

“Jeff, that’s not how I meant it. I just think it’s hard to mix business with pleasure. Do you know what I mean?” She smirked at him before soothing him by drawing small circles on his hand with her thumb.

“My stupidity is too distracting to get through any actual teaching.” He stared at the peddles of his vehicle.

“You know what I think your problem is?” She sat up, staring at him with her arms folded across her chest.

“What’s that?” He looked up, smiling weakly.

“Baseball comes really easily to you. You’re a natural. Maybe I’m not a natural at sports, but I’m a natural with school. Don’t you see? We all have strengths and weaknesses and sometimes we have to work harder to accomplish certain things.” She was proud of her explanation. He just stared at her for a little while.

“Jenson’s best to help me. You’re right.” He grabbed the tips of her hair and twirled them around his fingers.

“You know what else I’m right about?” She grinned at him. He arched an eyebrow, not totally sure as to what was going to be said next.

“What’s that?” He verbally acknowledged her.

“My parents won’t know if we study at the abandoned parking lot on Lincoln instead of at the library.” She grabbed his knee the way he had grabbed hers in the library.

His eyes widened, before a shit eating grin took over his face.

“Well alrighty.” He looked behind, backing out of the school lot quickly. This was something he thought they were both naturally just fine at.

It’s Hard Enough - Cooper!Reader X Jughead Jones

Hi love! Could I please request a fluffy Riverdale imagine where the reader is Betty’s little sister by a year who receives the same pressure from their mom, but hides it well from her sister and everyone else, when she is actually completely overwhelmed and stressed out to the point where she’s having an anxiety attack and Jughead or Veronica helps her?

Just because I love him, I chose a Jughead x Reader prompt. But, anon, if you want one with Veronica please message me!!! And maybe…if you want a Part Two (?)

It’s hard enough being a Freshman at Riverdale High, but you had an amazing older sister who put your mother’s standard too high. Betty is an amazing sister and you love her, it’s just that everyone loves her. After Polly went away and Jason went missing, things started to go further down hill for you. Your mother put unneeded pressure on both you and Betty, but Betty handled so much better. She broke free from your mother’s poisonous ways and started doing things for herself. This left you alone with the overbearing woman and no where to go. You managed to hide the damage your mother was inflicting upon you quite well. So well in fact that your sister and her friends thought you were just fine. The first day back to school, that changed.

“That’s really great Archie!” Betty said, shooting the redhead the most adorable heart eyes. You nodded in agreement as you listened to Archie's’ music demo. You were about to speak up when everyone at the lunch table turned their heads. “Can I sit?”

You turned and saw a very pretty Sophomore standing near the table. “Veronica! Yeah, sit!” Betty said, giving her a sweet smile. Kevin moved over, allowing you to make room for the girl to sit next to you. “What song is that? It’s really good but I haven’t heard it before.”

“It’s Archie’s demo.” You said, and the girl looked at you in confusion. Betty laughed, “Sorry, Veronica, this is my little sister Y/N. Y/N this is Veronica, she just moved here from New York.” Veronica gave you a kind smile and a hello which you tried to copy as best you could. You just weren’t feeling it today. Veronica must’ve picked up on it because her eyebrows furrowed slightly. “Yeah, I thought we’d have to pretend to like it but, it’s actually really great.” Kevin said causing Archie to smile softly. You smiled a little too, happy that at least one person you knew was doing something good in their lives. “You are alright?” Veronica asked while Kevin and Betty discussed Archie’s future in the music business. You just turned to look at her and with no answer, you got up and left the table. You felt tears gathering behind your eyes as you walked past Cheryl Blossom’s table, you heard someone in their group mutter “freak” and you suddenly were pushed over the edge. You picked up your pace and walked quickly back inside the school. You darted towards the nearest bathroom. You felt eyes on you and saw the Sophomore from your writing class watching you. You just walked faster to the bathroom and when inside, you locked yourself in a stall. The weight of everything that had occurred was finally crashing down on you and it was hitting hard. You felt light headed as your mind replayed the conversation of the future you had with your mom, the pressure for success she put on you because God forbid she had another broken daughter. Veronica’s simple question brought all of it back, the family drama that occurred with Polly and then Jason’s disappearance. You were far from alright, but the thought of telling someone that felt more scary than the pressure itself.

You managed to pull yourself together enough where you stopped crying, and got ready for your next period. When you would see your sister and her friends in the hall, you’d just say you had a stomach cramp or pain and went to the nurse. They’d question you and Veronica would be skeptical, but you’d smile and lie your way through the day.

You told Betty that you had a group project due in a few days and that your group was meeting up at Pop’s. Of course, being the good sister she is, let you go off on your own. “Just text me when you get there and when you need a ride, okay?” You nodded and gave her a fake smile. “I love you Y/N, be safe!” You walked off towards the diner, happy that now you didn’t have to go home for a little while longer.

The diner was basically empty, minus a few usual patrons. You ordered some fries and sat in a booth in the corner. You looked outside the window and saw the rain drops fall against the glass. It was a soothing distraction, taking your mind off the current situation just for a few precious moments. The silence was interrupted by someone sitting in the empty side of the booth. You turned your head quickly and saw the quiet Sophomore from early today. You just stared at him and his odd hat, and he stared at you just the same. “You’re Y/N Cooper, I saw you earlier today in school. We have Writing class together.” You nodded, suddenly getting nervous. “You’re Jughead Jones.” You said, equally as monotone as he did. “I’m not normally one for caring, but what happened today, right before lunch ended?” You swallowed hard at his question, and he saw your unease. “You looked very, very upset, that’s why I ask.” You felt a tear slide down your cheek at his sudden kindness. You wiped it away as quickly as it had appeared. “Everything going on it’s…taking a toll on me, but I’m-” You stopped talking, not trusting your own voice to continue. Jughead seemed to notice and didn’t say a word. He just waited until you composed yourself and continued. “I’m,” you looked into his eyes for a split moment and saw that there was no fooling him, “not fine.”

You found yourself opening up, just a little, to the mysterious boy before you. You mentioned the pressure your mother put you under, that derived from what occurred with Polly and Jason. From there, he started to talk about the summer, the Blossom twins, and how he remembered your older sister. “Polly was very nice. Said ‘hi’ to me even when I didn’t even look at her.”

“That was the type of girl she was.” You said, trailing off. You missed your eldest sister and you knew that Betty did as well. “Maybe,” Jughead started, slightly hesitant, “you should talk to your sister Betty more.” You stared at him quietly as he continued, “If she was under the same pressure she might be able to help you deal with it. It’s just an idea.” He said, and you felt your lips twitch up into a small smile. “Thank you.” Your phone screen flickered on and you saw the time. You hurriedly got out of the booth and stood. “My sister is going to be here soon.” He nodded, and made his way out of his side of the booth. “I’ll walk you out.”

The two of you waited under the rain-guard outside the diner in a calm silence. For some reason you turned and saw him looking at you. “You don’t have to stay. You’ve done enough for me.” He shook his head and looked towards the ground, a small smile played on his lips. “I’m just going to leave you alone when you feel this down.” You nodded, your heart beating a bit faster than before. “Thank you, again.” You whispered quietly, he turned to face you once more. “If you ever need to talk, to someone that isn’t your sister, you can find me in the library at lunch time.” You gave him a soft smile once more and saw the headlights coming from down the road.

“I’ll see you around, Jughead.” You murmured, but he caught your hand before you walked away. “I hope you smile more.” He said in a hushed tone as he slipped a piece of paper into your hand. You looked a his face, his gaze hidden slightly by his dark hair. He pulled away and with one last glance, walked back inside the diner. You darted to Betty’s car through the rain and shuddered when you got inside.

“Get buckled.” She said, “How’d the group project go?” As you finished buckling your safety belt, you turned back to the diner and saw Jughead typing away at a laptop through the window. From a distance, it looked, almost like, he was smiling. You turned to face forward and sighed. “It went pretty well.”

Zach Imagine #4

Zach being secretly in love with you, his best friend.

A/N : I tried. I hope you enjoy!

-

“You look really pretty today, y/n.” Zach smiles at you in awe. He loves the way you have the effect of taking his breath away even when you’re in sweats and a hoodie with no make up on and a messy bun.

You punch his arm lightly, “Shut up Dempsey.” You get into his car as he drives to the nearest gas station.

-

“Maybe I just wasn’t good enough for him.” You cry onto Zach’s shoulder.

“Y/N he was a douche, and you are way out of his league. You deserve the world and he couldn’t give it to you and that’s his mistake. ” Zach stroked your hair.

-

“Let’s make a deal Y/N.” Your ears perked and you looked at your best friend, you nodded your head.

“If we both don’t have dates by the winter formal, we’ll go together.” You agreed, little did you know he didn’t try to get a date, and he made sure all his friends kept an eye out for anyone who even thought about asking you to the dance.

-

“Wow,” he breathed as he saw you in your dress.

“You’re not looking too bad yourself, Dempsey,” you chuckled as you and Zach got into his car.

-

“He’s not a good guy, Y/N! He’s not a relationship type.” Zach yelled.

“Maybe I don’t want anymore relationships.”

“I know you Y/N, you’re a nice girl, you’re more committed to relationships than Juliet was committed to Romeo!”

“Maybe, you don’t know me at all. Have you thought of that?” Zach walked out of her room and slammed the front door. He wasn’t going to say anything he would regret.

-

“How’d your non-relationship thing go?”

“I walked into his room and he was naked, I ran out of his house screaming. I am scarred.”

-

“Zach please talk to me.”

“Not in the mood.”

“I’m your best friend you can tell me anything.”

“You wouldn’t understand.”

“Really? Try me.”

“I’m in love with this girl. In fact, I am so in love with her, it actually hurts because I know she will never feel the same.”

-

“I got you something to get through your AP BIO test!” Zach smiled wide and pulled out a cupholder from monet’s.

“Zach you are a freaking life saver,” You hugged him tight and grabbed your everyday order, hot chocolate with vanilla extract, whip cream, caramel, and sometimes sprinkles.

-

You walked past a bunch of seniors, they whistled and hollered at you. You felt extremely disrespected and uncomfortable. You told Zach about it.

“How many guys were there?”

“How’d they look?”

“Can you describe them?”

“Zach, really, it’s fine.”

“No, it’s not. What if they do it again?”

“They won’t,” You hoped.

-

“Zach I think I like Montgomery.”

“Oh.”

-

“Zach,” She sobbed through the phone.

“Y/N? What’s wrong?”

“He’s cheating on me,” she sobbed harder.

-

“I’m going to beat your fucking ass Montgomery,” Zach said ready to charge at him. Until Justin pulled him back.

“HEY! HEY! What’s going on here?”

“He’s cheating on Y/N,” anyone could see the steam coming from Zach.

“Jesus, Montgomery. What the fuck is wrong with you?” Justin glares at Montgomery.

“She said she loved me. It’s been only 3 months,” Montgomery scoffed.

“So what? You throw her away because she has feelings?” Zach shoves Montgomery.

“She didn’t put out. Plus we all know how much you’re so in love with her,” he pauses and venomously smirks. “I guess now we both know how it feels to see someone you love ruined.”

Zach punches Montgomery in the face and leaves.

-

“Hey, hey. It’s okay. You’ll be okay, Y/N,” He says as he hugs you, tightly. “He’s dumb. He’s not worth your tears. You’re smart, independent, and a bonus is you’re really beautiful. You’re the most caring person, your smile could light up any room and your laugh? It’s the best song I ever heard. You’re going to find someone, someone who loves you so much and they’ll never purposely hurt you.”

“Where does a guy like that come along?”

I’m right here.

Mc gifting Jumin with another cat for Valentine's Day ?

[Jumin]

  • It was honestly unexpected
  •  You caught him off guard
  • He was expecting a new watch
  • Or a nice tie
  • Cuff links?
  • But…a kitten?!
  • You had him close his eyes and hold out his hands
  • And you placed the kitten in his palms
  • A small orange kitten
  • Jumin couldn’t help but smile immediately
    • “MC…”
  • He was speechless and grinning
    • “Her name is Pumpkin,” you smiled
  • He was looking at her cute little pink nose
  • And her cute little ears and paws
    • “This is…one of the most wonderful and thoughtful gifts I have ever received…”
  • He is honestly moved, just about to tears
  • His eyes are getting a little watery seeing this tiny creature in his hands looking up at him with soulful eyes
  • He is smitten by her
  • And by you
  • And Elizabeth 3rd is in his lap in no time, rubbing herself on the kitten
    • “Elizabeth 3rd loves her already,” Jumin beams
  • He is petting both of them
    • “Let’s go pick out a nice collar and bowl set for her”
  • Even though he is containing himself, you can tell he is excited
    • “That sounds wonderful,” you smiled
  • Of course, you took Elizabeth 3rd and Pumpkin along
    • “Elizabeth 3rd can help us pick things out”
  • Its one of the best Valentines Days for him
  • Actually
  • THE best Valentines Day he has ever had
  • Loves seeing how you light up as you look at all of the products and expensive collars etc
    • “Anything you see fit, my love”
  • This is one of the moments he has felt closest to you
  • Your heart and your warmth and soul is shining through
  • At whatever point, his focus has shifted from the cat to you
  • He is staring and smiling and taking you all in
  • Anything you want in that moment is yours
  • Whether it is for the cat or not
  • Of course, you don’t ask for anything for yourself
  • When you get home he makes you put the cat down
  • Pushes you against the wall
  • Not hard, but romantic and lovingly
    • “You are the most wonderful person I have ever met…”
  • He kisses you deeply
    • “Now…it’s time for you to receive your gift…”
  • It’s not just about the cat
  • Not nearly
  • But the only other person to give him an animal was Rika
  • Because he had been so detached from people
  • He mistook general affection for perhaps…something more?
  • Someone giving him actual conversation that wasn’t ass-kissing was new to him and caused him to misinterpret
  • It was foolish
  • He knows that now
  • And to have a gift such as this, from someone he TRULY loves
  • Well…
  • He would wrap the world in a pretty little bow for you if it meant you would smile, only for a moment
  • He doesn’t want a house full of cats
  • That would be ridiculous
  • But a special gift like this from you is everything to him
  • He starts kissing your hands and moves up your arms
  • Kisses your neck
    • “I feel so lucky. I know your beautiful soul…I want to be the only one to know you in this way…”

hi

i just wanted to let all of you know that i was supposed to jump off a bridge about 5 hours ago just right after i attended our Thursday worship service. and i know it sounds so stupid to commit suicide just a few minutes after going to church and studying the Words of God but i was too hopeless earlier and no words can ever describe how sad and lost i am at that moment.

i knew i needed to push all those evil thoughts away from my mind. and while trying to do so, i suddenly saw my best friend, with my cloudy eyes from the tears rolling down my cheeks, just a few feet away from where i’m standing when i was supposed to cross the road and walk straight to the nearest bridge.

it turns out that she was on her way home when she saw me walking alone in the dark and empty street, asking questions to myself and to God.

i saw her face and realized that she was actually smiling right in front of me.

she’s smiling

before i even knew it, my lips already formed a curve into a smile, too.

and, somehow, that was enough to stop me from doing the thing that was supposed to end everything for me.

she could’ve left a minute later from school and never had the chance to see me walking on my way to death or i could’ve walked faster and she wouldn’t see me there crying then. but, instead, God is so great that He made everything fit on His perfect plan. He saved me. God saves. He can save you, too.

and most importantly, remember that God can always use you to save others, too.

be kind.

spread love.

I know it’s really specific but I can’t get this idea out of my head and I’m an awful writer… (And I don’t mean to hate on Archie, I really love him, but I love me some good angst)”

So nice to see your face again, tell me how long has it been
Since you’ve been here. You look so different than before
But still the person I adore, frozen with fear

HYDRA had kidnapped [Y/N] for leverage on Captain America back in the forties. Little did they know that even though [Y/N] was a good friend of Steve Rogers, she would have been more useful in using her against Sergeant Barnes. She was the love of his life, the one dame who could take his breath away every single time she walked into a room. She had powers over him that he never thought a woman could have. But, sure enough [Y/N] had them and fell just as hard.

Fast forward to when HYDRA had their files leaked, JARVIS caught and deciphered most of them. Leaving Steve with the information that a girl he had grown up with was frozen in time just like he had been. There was no argument on whether or not he would go get her because before he could discuss with anyone, he was already on his way.

It took months for her cope with the fact that her last memory was being bound and gagged against her will with scientists hooking IV’s and strange equipment to her body and then the next, she was waking up to a familiar face but in an unfamiliar time. Struggle was an understatement because she couldn’t understand how any of the things she was going through was actually happening.

But, time was the only thing that would help her. And eventually, she adapted. [Y/N] wasn’t quite as strong as the others but where she lacked in strength, she made up for in her precision. [Y/N] could calculate fight sequences before they happened, and it was like every weapon you threw in her hand, she knew exactly how to use it despite the fact that she had never picked up one prior. It was scary how she never missed and [Y/N] couldn’t even begin to tell you how she knew how to do some of things that she could do. She just knew.

“The Winter Soldier’s a ghost, huh?” [Y/N] said sarcastically as she watch the shadow move across the rooftops through her scope. Re-positioning the rifle against her shoulder, she looked through the scope again. “Looks well and alive to me.”

“Do you have a clear shot?” Steve asked.

“Oh yeah, I’ve got a real clear shot.” Zooming her scope in, “Do we want him dead or alive?”

“Dead.”

“Dead.”

Alive.” Steve growled.

[Y/N] chuckled, “Alive it is.” Just as she was about to move her aim towards the man’s shoulder, she caught sight of a pair of eyes that she hadn’t seen in a long time. “No.” She whispered, low enough for her team members to not hear.

“Hello? [Y/N] you going to take the shot?” Natasha asked, her tone a little annoyed. “He’s going to get away!”

Struggling to regain her focus, she desperately tried to get a good aim on him before he ducked down between two buildings. Cursing in her head, she yanked the rifle away from herself. Running her hands through her hair, she kicked the rooftop railing. “Steve, private talk, now.”

In minutes, the kid she knew from Brooklyn was waltzing through the rooftop stairwell. His face was laced with concern and slight annoyance. “[Y/N]? What happened? You said you had a clear shot.” He removed his earpiece and turned it off, watching as [Y/N] did the same.

[Y/N] inhaled deeply, her eyes staring up at the dark sky. “I never asked you about Bucky because I didn’t want to know.”

Steve’s brows knitted together, he had always wondered why [Y/N] never asked about Bucky. At first, he thought it was because she didn’t remember but after she started to recall memories, it didn’t make sense why she didn’t ask about the man who swept her off her feet all those years ago. “Okay? I’m not trying to be insensitive right now, [Y/N], because I know how much Buck meant to you but why is this relevant?”

She ignored his question, “What did Bucky and I used to tell each other every single day before we left to go our separate ways?”

Steve could never forget, it was like clockwork every time they’d say goodbye or goodnight to each other. Steve had so desperately wanted a relationship like that, to look a girl and just have the words slip right out his mouth before he even thought about them. “Bucky would ask you to smile and he’d say, ‘you’ve got the best damn smile in this town, a smile I could never forget even if I tried.’ And you would follow with, ‘and you’ve got the best damn pair of blue eyes I’ve ever seen, eyes I will never forget in a million years.’”

[Y/N] smiled, trying to remember the last time they had shared those loving words. She wasn’t sure if he actually meant it, but she sure did. “I meant that, every single word.”

Steve nodded, unsure of where this was going but not going to interrupt her trip down memory lane because perhaps this was why she missed the opportunity to shoot the Winter Soldier. If she needed to vent, Steve wasn’t going to stop her. “I know, and Buck did too.”

“Steve, what exactly happened to Bucky?”

He inhaled, “Long story short and to spare you the details, he died during one of our missions.”

[Y/N] turned away from him, looking at the spot where the Winter Soldier had just been. “What was the mission?”

“To destroy HYDRA bases,” Steve stepped forward, concerned. “[Y/N] why are you suddenly interested in this now?”

A tear slid down her cheek, as she turned to face Steve. “You and I are not the only ones who were frozen in time.” Inhaling deeply, she firmly spoke through her teeth. “The Winter Soldier is a ghost, Steve. It’s Bucky, I know because I saw his eyes.”

Kind of tempted to do a part two. Anyone interested?

Sometimes Cas just talks.

Dean thinks it might be a side-affect of Falling–that after losing the hugeness of a Grace, there’s too much experience and knowledge to keep it all bottled up.

Well, that, and humans generally like to tell stories.

So Dean listens. And in the early hours of the morning, when he closes his eyes after a roll in the hay, Castiel paints the night sky of the Sahara desert across his eyelids, speaking lowly of the cold and heat and the people who live there.

Cas talks about Spain, and Paris, and Pangaea. About Australia before it was Australia. About Chile. Lebanon. Malawi.

“What’s your favorite place?” Dean asks one night.

Cas says, “Iceland.”

It’s not what Dean is expecting.
