Welcome to The Family
Y/N pulled the blanket around her tighter as she leaned into Harry. Her head rested on his chest, tucked under his chin, his arm draped around her shoulder under the blanket. She peeked up at him, a smile on her face, “when are we going to start the movie?” she asked.
“Any second now,” Robin answered for Harry, “we’re just waiting on Anne,” he says a bit louder.
“I just want to brush my teeth, Gemma isn’t ready either,” Anne called.
Harry liked spending his break with his family. Every month he, Y/N, Anne, Robin, and Gemma would get together for a movie. It was his favorite time, all his favorite people in one room. Y/N had picked out the movie and she was excited to see it, it was her favorite rom com, The Proposal.
“I’m just excited,” Y/N stated, burying her face in Harry’s neck.
She had just finished school, so there were no more exams, no more classes, no more essay’s. She couldn’t have been happier, cuddled up next to Harry, blanket over them, movie on the telly.
Anne walked in, a sweater that Y/N knew all to well. Half the kids on campus wore them, she had one of her own. An oxford sweater, the blue and white colors felt like Y/N’s third home.
“Hey,” Y/N smiled, “where did you get that?”
“I went out and bought it, I have to support my second daughter,” Anne says, taking her seat next to Robin.
“Thank you, that’s really sweet Anne,” Y/N says.
Harry squeezes her gently, “welcome to the family,” he whispered, kissing her forehead.
