And making my own version of lush’s henna/indigo hair bars.
These are easy to cut in small pieces, I found ¼ cup of hot water to one stick cut into quarters worked to a very nice consistency that was easy to manage.
Now my hair is already a medium brown with random natural blonde highlights. I only tested the last 6" of my hair. As you can see it definitely filled in the highlights and reddened my hair. I am going to try another application to see what that gives me since in reading the reviews for lush’s bars it takes 2-3 applications to get the normally desired results.
Another difference so far in this compared the the reviews for lush’s is that it did not take a lot of attempts to wash out of my hair it took one good rinse with just water and then one quick shampoo rinse to remove the paste from my hair.
I’ll have to play with this more and see if it’ll go darker with another application.
My hair evolution since September. My hair was soooo damaged with bleach! I can’t stop cutting my hair because of dried ends! The three last pictures are recent, I’ve finally redyed my hair with henna because it’s so much healthier. It’s feels so much soft just with this and now I’m using sidr powder for wash my hair, it’s less drying than a classic shampoo and more economic! And look at my undercut, it’s grow so much during less than 5 months (the last trim was in the beginning of September, I’ve trim this in 0,6mm with my hair clippers)! Let it grow!
