I Feel as If I never got to be me today… At least not yet…  This “Surrealist” find however, thrills me, because I cannot “crack-the-Code” of the artist’ identity.  One finds a bit of Heidi Xandt’s work, particularly in the marriage, of a gilded metal with stone.  Also, because of the “Vanitas” narrative, we can feel a certain inspirational tie with the Japanese artist Tajii Taomote.  If anybody knows of a more accurate identification than my “style-influences” guessing game, thank you for letting us all know.  Visual Art is, initially a visual emotion.  Yet identified aesthetics hold the advantage to be more intellectually enlightening.

Apollo was first and foremost known as the God who was in charge of the sun’s pathway as the Sol Invictus. But besides that, he was known as the savior who would save people from epidemics, the beautiful young man who would play his lyre as the God of music and poetry. Yet, each person basking in light will cast a shadow. He was known to be the God of prophecy, although his were ambiguous in nature. It is therefor that he begot the name Loxias. This is the name for Apollo as the god of incomprehensible oracular sayings. He had an oracle at Loxias which was sacked by Cadmus and Harmonia, whom he then transformed into serpents.
