“Really, in this place of magnificent artwork, you’re going to make faces at me?” Hector asked. “Real mature.”

“You keep looking back, that’s not my fault.” I smirked. “If it meant tht much, you wouldn’t look my way.”

“Fine.” He turned his head to look away. “I won’t look at you any longer.”

“Good.” Graham waited. A few minutes later…. “Stop looking at me!”

“I like your face,” Hector answered simply.

“Good answer.” I opened my mouth to say something else when Ashley walked by.

“This isn’t family feud, shut up.”

“Jeeeeez Ashley, you know how to kill a moment.” I rolled my eyes.

“You deserve to be shut up every once and a while.” Hector smirked.

“Hector, I’m reading…” I sighed in annoyance.

“No you’re not. You’re obviously having a conversation with me.” He smiled and leaned over. “You’re mad at me.”

“Oh, my anger with you is gone. I’d rather be ignored than stepped on.” I placed the book down and looked at him. “You kisssed me and then you’ve ignored me. What the hell?”

“If i wasn’t interested in you, then why would I be here?” He asked.

“The money?” I asked. “Free trip to France, why wouldn’t you.”

“I’ve had to put up with sleeping in the same room as Josh. Graham, I really care about you. I just don’t want to step on any toes, or make it seem like I’m using you. I’m trying to be cautious.”

I let my breath out. “Seriously?”

“Seriously.” He nodded.
