Solid Perfumes are a great substitute for liquid bottled perfumes. With the natural ingredients used in this recipe, you will not have to worry about toxic fumes entering your body. This specific blend of oils create a relaxing and calming aroma that will assist in relieving stress and bringing love into your life.
Let’s get started!
½ Almond Oil or any other carrier oil
½ Beeswax or Carnauba wax
Alkanet Root (optional)
To make, place your choice of wax into a double boiler on high heat. After it melts, pour your carrier oil and stir until you get a smooth consistency. Lower heat so the carrier oil doesn’t start cooking! Alkanet Root is optional, but I recommend it is you want to give it a pretty pink/peachy color as shown in the photo. If you decide to use it, simply add the herbs and use a strainer to rid them before pouring into your container. You can now add your essential oils. If you are familiar with essential oils and know how to use them, then add as many drops as you feel are appropriate. If not, depending on the brand of essential oils you are using and the amount of wax & carrier oil you placed in your boiler, you will need to add around 20-30 drops of each essential oil. Stir, turn heat off, and pour into your container. I topped all of mine off with some dried flowers! If you decide to do this, be sure to add the flowers before the perfume dries.
I hope you all enjoy this recipe! Feel free to share your photos with me after you make them and contact me if you have any questions!

think to understand what spirits are, it’s important to understand
what humans are. And to understand humans, we have to understand a
bit about the nature of the Universe.
Universe has a few fundamental qualities, but the one we want to
focus on today is Curiosity. The Universe is fundamentally curious
about itself. It wants to know more about itself. It wants to
experience itself! The Universe is, after all, Everything. In order
to experience itself it began evolving life forms. All kinds of life
forms! The kinds of life we are most familiar with is physical life,
here on Earth. This is because as physical humans we have five basic
senses aligned to experience the purely physical realms.
Universe, however, is not caught up purely on the physical. The
Universe is a divine, spiritual being, and it does not neglect its
divine and spiritual aspect. The Universe, while it evolved physical
beings to explore its physical side, simultaneously evolved spiritual
beings to explore its spiritual side.
spiritual beings are what we affectionately refer to as “spirits”.
bodies are built out of matter, which is crystallized energy. Spirits
are built out of non-crystallized energy. That is, in my opinion, the
between us. This fundamental difference sparks a fractal of smaller
differences, but ultimately the root of it is that we’re physical,
and they’re not. But they’re still valid beings.
let’s talk more about our spiritual brethren.
exist in forms so varied that they vastly outnumber the forms of life
here on our small planet.
our perspective, they can be ultimately evil or ultimately good, and
they populate every range of the ethical spectrum in-between.
organic physical being has a spiritual being attached to it. That
includes humans, plants, and animals.
inorganic physical beings have spiritual beings attached to it, such
as crystals, inspirited objects, houses, cities, and geographical
features and landscapes.
abstract concepts and ideals we possess have spirits attached to
them. Money, love, fear, hate, abundance, and poverty all have
all humans have a spirit, not every human has a human spirit attached
to them. It is possible to be a physical human with a plant, animal,

spirits we refer to as gods or divinity.

artists and authors tap in to the spirit world and create work that
actually describes the life and situations of spirits. This is why
pop culture spirituality is totally a valid thing.
spirits that become friends with humans we refer to as “companions.”
Humans that are friends with spirits we refer to as “spirit
companions.” Any spirit may become a companion to a human.
are certain spirits which guide us, protect us, and help us. These
spirits choose us or are assigned to us for one reason or another.
These are what we refer to as guiding spirits and guardian spirits. A

humans, while physical, are ultimately divine and spiritual beings,
we have the ability to communicate with spirits through natural
abilities, practice, divination, rituals, intuition, and dreams.
spirits are nonphysical, humans often interact with them in
nonphysical ways. This means it is rare to see a spirit “IRL”,
but common to see spirits within your mind’s eye (aka, as if you are
daydreaming them – but it’s not an “imaginary” daydream).
a sign of trust and generosity, humans often choose to leave
offerings for spirits. Offerings may take any form. This is not
necessary to maintain a healthy relationship with a spirit, just as
you should not need to give gifts to your physical friends in order
to maintain a healthy relationship with them.
astral pregnancy, marriage, and romantic relationships with spirits
are all possible. These relationships are as valid as physical
can be befriended in the same way that you befriend humans and
animals. Just introduce yourself and get to know them!
can we talk about this episode 10 scene for a hot second
You know, the one where Victor announces his and Yuuri’s engagement? The one that shattered us all into ecstatic little pieces and then brought us back to life? That one
Okay so, the first time I watched this scene and I started to hear the angry guitar music in the background and see the other competitor’s less-than-enthusiastic faces, my heart sank.
I was like, okay, here’s where the homophobia comes in, I knew this utopia (lol) couldn’t last, now they’re going to start revealing their inner asshats. Buuuuut
can we talk about the fact that these sweet amazing friends aren’t actually about to reveal their homophobic tendencies? Instead the thing they get pissed about is Victor claiming that Yuuri’s taking home the gold. Completely bypassing the thing that most people would assume they’d freak out over; no, instead they just accept that as a fact of life as they should and the thing they get pissed about is the only thing they SHOULD be pissed about. This is the best bait and switch I’ve ever experienced oh my god
I love this show, I love these supportive cinnamon roll friends, I love this healthy competitive spirit and most of all I love the fact that nobody treats this queer relationship as anything abnormal. Say what you want about media addressing issues LGBT people face…as a member of the LGBT community I just wanna say it’s nice to have a story that treats a gay couple just like any other hetero pairing. So much appreciation, thank you Kubo-sensei for creating this beautiful healthy angst-free haven of a show. GAHHH
Can I just express to you how much I despise the term “revenge
body.” As I was driving today, I heard
some radio show talking about Mama June and her new size 4 “revenge body” that
she got because she didn’t want to go to her ex’s wedding the same size she was
when they were together. I also know
that Khloe Kardashian also has a show called this, which I have not actually
watched nor have any plans to.
Listen, I’m all for people bettering their life. I’m all for people making themselves
healthier and happier for THEMSELVES.
But this term and these people out there saying they are getting revenge
bodies to get back at an ex are only making it seem like someone would have
liked them better had they been a size 4 because they didn’t when they were a
size 14 (or maybe a 24 or maybe an 8). C’mon
now! This is not what we should convey
to our children. Is it no wonder that
fat shaming is so prevalent in our society!
Because so many people don’t consider you to be pretty or beautiful unless
you are small. I’ll tell you right now,
I would NEVER want a man to want me only after I lost weight. If you don’t want me big or small, then you should
not want me at all. Because regardless
of what size is on my jeans, I’m still ME.
Having a healthy lifestyle is important. I get that.
I agree with that. However,
having a healthy mind, a healthy spirit, a healthy sense of humor and
compassion and heart and I could go on and on … well that’s pretty
important too. Teaching our children
that people will like you better when you are thinner isn’t the right
approach. Teach them to love their
bodies, to make themselves healthy for themselves, to create a strong mind, to
create a happy life.
So don’t get a “revenge body.” Just get a healthier body and become a
stronger you. And if an ex does come
along who decides they regret letting you go, be glad that you got rid of someone
who only sees your beauty on the outside and know that you did this for you,
not for them.
Plain and simple … . know your worth and teach your
children to know theirs.
