1. One #Banana
2. One. Serving of #Blueberries
3. Four ice cubes
4. Eight ounces of #Water
5. One scoop of Vanilla #Shakeology.

Blend it all up and you will have the healthiest meal of the day. WARNING: it will fill up your Shaker cup for sure. So you will have a big #breakfast 😉😉

Day 2.

My skin really took a beating this weekend over in Vegas; it’s ridiculously dry. I am thinking the weather and the water; mixed with drinking of beer really is what did it. I don’t know why, but the water in Vegas just doesn’t sit well with me. My hair because non manageable and my skin dry and rough. Every single time. Now that I am back and rehydrating, I am hoping I go back to normal. I have been applying my Vitamin E gel tabs at night (I pop them and apply the gel all over my face) – it’s part of my nightly regimen along with exfoliating right after I shower. I bought a face mask as well that I am supposed to apply 2 x week. I have been doing this now for the last 10 years and I must say, for being 32 my skin looks pretty nice. Of course except when I don’t care for it and don’t drink water. Anyway – plan for today’s (day 2) meals: breakfast: Yogurt with bananas, apples and granola. Lunch: asian salad. Snack: grapes and dinner will be broiled chicken w veggies. Workout plan: Zumba class. And of course … water, water, water. I cut out soda, alcohol, and fatty/fast foods out of my diet. Coffee is still part of my morning though – I need it in order to function properly. I cannot yet cut it out. Maybe less sugar … but that’s a big maybe.

I look hidious and look at my chest 😳😳😳 all because I am nursing holy moly! My physiotherapist was very satisfied at the pace I am recovering from pregnancy number two. It’s been exactly 7 weeks today since I gave birth to Nalu and even though I still need to loose some of that weight I am quite happy to say I am slowly getting there. Hopefully February will be all about yoga and surf. Training one on Feb 1st done! Decided to alternate between NTC and Kayla as for me that is more challenging. I am going to do the ‘Get Lean’ training for beginners, a high intensity training starting with 'Sweat and shape’. Tonight going to throw in an 'Ab Burner’. Yes I discussed this with my physiotherapist and I am allowed to start them in moderation. Every post-pregnant mama should check first with their caregiver begore starting abs (or with your doctor or midwife). If you are recovering well and have no signs of diastasis with their permission you can slowly start with training (your abs) again. But remember: SLOWLY!!! Relaxin is not your best friend when training again, the body needs time (said the critic to herself…pinch me when I get all negative about myself again 😳). Let’s go 💪🏽!
