Fitness Shenanigans

So recently, I’ve found myself getting a little more involved on this quest to try and find health solutions that will help me get to the ideal image I have of myself in my head. My reasoning being, the greater the physical strength the greater it translates into mental strength. So very recently, I decided to give CrossFit a shot. It’s been a real long time since I’ve physically pushed myself or gone crazy. Once upon a time…a very very long time ago, I used to be that kid you couldn’t get off a field. I’d get involved in just about any and every sport. Granted, track & field wasn’t my thing. I apparently lost interest in running after chasing the God forsaken bus one too many times, when I was much younger. The only time I find running to be useful is when I’m playing a sport. So finally, I had my 1st CrossFit class, and holy jalapenos Batman, I think soreness has been re-defined. I’m still the nervous kid, who is wondering if CF is my fit or if I need to give up on it and look for something else instead. Despite the challenging nature of some of the movements, I do enjoy it while I’m there…probably is an attribute of my sheer stubborn-ness. I’m also exploring this new thing I came across, will share my opinions after I’m done exploring. Well, this may be a little longer than I anticipated, but I’ll try and share my healthy opinions (however few and far those opinions might be :P.)
