One of the hardest things to do when making the decision to create a healthy life is not actually getting started, but continuing to work hard and stay motivated. It is important for people to understand that the journey to making a lifestyle change is tough, but is possible. No you probably wont see results right away and that will be hard to understand, but it is important to keep reminding yourself that if you keep working hard, it will all pay off. And even if it is difficult now, it WILL GET BETTER! Maybe right now you can only walk a mile, and that’s okay! Next week you can add a minute of running. That one minute is proof that you and your body are changing and getting stronger little by little every day. I did not lose 40lbs in a month. I lost it in 8 months. It has been a battle, but I win that battle with every decision I make to keep moving forward! YOU CAN DO IT

Since this is my first time on the blog, I thought I would start out with a progress photo. One of my biggest inspirations is looking back on how far I have come since I started my health journey. When I began in January, I weighed in at about 206lbs. Now, on Aug 7th, I weigh in at 174. I would like to try and reach 155 by the end of the year, but I know that I will have many obstacles to face with school starting up again soon. Slow progress is better than no progress.
