i was thinking, a braid in the back like libra has, that seems a bit tricky to do by yourself but there’s no way he’d let someone else get that close, esp. to his neck, and then considering how his hair looks a bit messy/hanging in his face in the sprite portrait, that would also make sense if he was doing it himself…
Aside from his jacket, his sketchbook is the only thing in his room that he bothered to unpack and place somewhere. He keeps it hidden under his bed though hence the other paladins wouldn’t find it even if they were in his room
He is not particularly embarrassed about his skills (they are quite good and he knows it bc he already began sketching as early as he could hold a pen), it’s the content he doesn’t want the others to see
He sketches whatever comes to his mind. That includes all the other paladins, Coran, even aliens they’ve met (he has one drawing of Rolo which he is especially fond of). He draws them all in various positions and emotions
The thing though that fills most of his sketchbook is Lance. Besides his obvious crush on him, he just finds this boy’s face and features so fascinating and challenging to draw (this might be caused by the fact that he loves all the little details about him). That’s why he always feels excited (he doesn’t really let it show though) when he draws him, but disappointed everytime he’s finished bc he thinks he can’t truly illustrate all of Lance’s lovely perfections (and imperfections)
Surprisingly, the second most reappearing figure is… Coran. Even though Keith would never admit it, he admires his costumes. They are very flamboyant, and that is the thing he finds so interesting. All the additions, accessories… Also challenging things to draw, that’s what makes it fun for Keith. And of course his moustache. He never really bothered to draw facial hair before, but Coran’s moustache works as good practice for him and he’s getting better and better.
Drawing helps him calm down. Everytime he comes back from a BOM mission or after an especially hard training he doesn’t immediately go to sleep. He makes himself comfortable in his bed (in no less than his complete attire, he only ever takes off his gloves for drawing - and that’s a pretty huge thing for him), snatches his sketchbook and draws until he unintentionally falls asleep
A thought: Spottedleaf is the first one that Redtail comes out as trans to (when they’re both apprentices). She loves and supports her brother and helps him come out to Bluestar and the rest of the clan, who all accept him for who he is. Spottedleaf and Redtail become a powerful pair of twins, growing up to be medicine cat and deputy.
Jobros cosplaying as other anime characters? And cosplaying as fictional characters(dont know why i thought of kak dressed as kurama from yuyu hakusho when writing this. Ps love this blog)
Jobro Random Headcanons #43 (SFW)
This got kind of stressful at parts because Araki’s character designs are like no other and finding ones that legitimately looked like them got pretty hard, however I found some fitting ones and cosplay is for fun so I figured all of these were fun picks. Thank you anon for a very unique and fun ask!
Jonathan: Kenshiro from Fist of the North Star for sure, mainly because that is who he was partially based off of. Araki wanted to meet the trends in the time he was writing Jojo.
Dio: Laxus Dreyar from Fairy Tail, I mean they kind of have a similar demeanor too. First character I could think of.
Joseph: Reminds me of Pip from Hellsing. I don’t really know why.
Caesar:Howl from Studio Ghibli’s Howl’s Moving Castle.
Jotaro: Haruka Nanase from Free Iwatobi Swim Club, you already know why.
Kakyoin: Kurama from Yuyu Hakusho is a really good one, personally he reminds me of Kenshin from Rurouni Kenshin.
Josuke: Danny Zuko. Kidding. Honestly he looks scarily like Hunter x Hunter character: Knuckle, I have a theory that Knuckle is the Josuyasu love child.
Okuyasu: Sokka from Avatar the Last Airbender. That’s the closest I’ve gotten.
Giorno: I’m not sure maybe Edward Elric. That’s pretty badass.
Mista: Looks like fucking Rock Lee. (I love Rock Lee and Mista don’t hurt me) fight me.
Many thanks to @thatshamelessyaoishipper for subbing the entire section.
This line of dialogue (spoken by Yurio) is genuinely so important to our understanding of Viktor’s character. It’s fair to say that a lot of us kind of view his character as lovable, childlike, and whimsical, and that isn’t wrong. But this proves it, he’s only like that around Yuuri, according to somebody who has known him for three years or so at an absolute minimum.
This is the Viktor Nikiforov without Yuuri, the one the majority of people know. This is the Viktor Nikiforov who sits alone in parks in the snow, with only his dog for comfort, as he contemplates how his life even turned up like that.
I know this is a particularly bad moment, to be fair, but just look how miserable he looks.
Even here, he just looks so bored and serious.
This is Viktor without Yuuri for what? Three days?
The actual effect Yuuri had on Viktor’s life is astounding. With Yuuri, Viktor learnt to let everything go and just be him, rather than his more restrained and serious self, morphing into the usual personality we see and love for the duration of the anime.
All I can picture is the first day Viktor and Yuuri start training again at the rink in St Petersburg, and are absolutely gobsmacked to witness Viktor smiling, laughing, with his arms draped around Yuuri like he’s a buoyancy aid. Quiet, serious Viktor Nikiforov actually looking like he’s enjoying his day. He’s the opposite of the kind of man who would tickle someone publicly, but there he is, chasing Yuuri Katsuki around the rink like a five year old. It’s like some kind of bizarre dream. Even Yakov would have to admit that Yuuri’s presence has transformed him.
And perhaps Yakov even asks him once, unable to help himself, where Viktor suddenly got so much inspiration from, after so many years of misery.
The only answer he gets, as Viktor starts to walk away, is “he gave me his love, Yakov.”
