he-does-nothing-else-in-this-performance

I don’t know what it is, but more than anyone else who I’ve been fortunate enough to be in the presence of (and this even includes Johnny), there seems to be no one who reduces me to a puddle of goo when I’m near them as much as Dom does. Like, I just cannot cope with him. Except, on Friday, when we met him outside the theatre after watching him perform “Les Liaisons Dangereuses”, I had to cope.

There’s nothing for me to say other than that he’s wonderful (obviously) and that meeting him was wonderful. He’s so handsome (again, obviously) and open and charismatic, and I think that time may actually have stood still when he was looking at me and listening to me. That little moment—that little connection we shared—is a memory to be treasured, and I’m so happy that I had the opportunity to express my admiration.

I mean, really, being able to tell one of your favourite ever actors that he plays one of your favourite ever characters is pretty damn cool. (It’s even cooler when, as you’re telling him, he’s stood a mere handful of inches away, bundled up in a North Face jacket and tucking his hair into a red beanie, looking at you intensely with those beautifully deep eyes of his, smiling widely and exclaiming, “REALLY?!” in response. So, yeah.)
