“I can’t believe you punched him.” I say walking into my kitchen with nash following close behind.
“What else was I supposed to do Carley?!? He was obviously checking you out.” He says angrily.
“So what?” I turn and ask my best friend Nash. “So. What? You’re not my boyfriend. So what if he was checking me out? Why do you care? Not only did you punch the him but you also embarrassed me.” I say getting a wet cloth to clean Nash’s bloody nose. He hops on the counter and looks down at me. I start to wipe the blood off his face.
“Sorry Carly, I was just… Jealous I guess.” He says mumbling the last part. He hops off the counter and started to pace back and forth.
“Jealous of what?” I ask looking straight into his bright blue eyes.
He pauses and pulls at his hair a little bit. He sighs and looks directly at me.
“I like you Carley… A lot. Hell, I don’t even like you, I love you. I have since 9th grade. Everything about you is perfect. Your laugh, your smile, the way you scrunch your eyes and your nose when you’re really concentrating on something important. Every. Little. Thing.”
I feel my face go hot and look at the ground avoiding eye contact with him. I’ve had a crush on Nash for quite a while now but I never thought he liked me as anything more then a friend.
“Sorry, I shouldn’t have-” he starts saying and his face is a bright pink.
“I love you too Grier.” I sat smiling at him.
“Oh thank god.” He whispers. “How would you like to go on our first ever official date tonight?” He asks smirking at me.
I nod wildly and Nash smiles and looks at me
“Okay well get out now I have to get ready.” I say shoving him towards the door.
“Oh right… I’ll pick you up at 7 babe.” He says before I close the door on him.
I shake my head and smile before quickly running upstairs to plan my outfit.
