Yuuri despises socializing with people he doesn’t know, but his unconventional family and marriage is one of the hottest gossip topics in town especially among the other mums. One day, he decides to just fuck it all…and sorely regrets it afterwards.
Bugging my buddy Shane Miller in his studio today 🙌🏼 I love his work so much. He creates those sort of paintings that take ya back to somewhere you’ve already been.
I bought one of his paintings this year and I felt like an adult. An adult who buys art? Felt good and strange. Anyhow, his work is def gonna get more expensive in a heart beat!
#Ok #In Juggie’s dream he’s married to Betty #Which makes him feel guilty #Because he thinks he stabbed his best friend in the back #He needs to sort out his priorities #Like you’re homeless for fuck’s sake #He honestly needs to be slightly less selfless #stop carrying everybody else’s problems on his shoulders #Give him a fucking break #And a hug
arm wrestled dum-e today. does it count as arm wrestling when his whole body is an arm? or is it just wrestling then
steve drew me, and then tony added dum-e to the sketch. nice to see them getting along.
this is just before the table snapped under us. that red stuff is blood from the nosebleed i got, and that white is when dum-e decided that spraying me down with the fire extinguisher would help with the nosebleed
“…It’s great when they do appreciate what you do, and no matter what you do there will be some people out there that do appreciate it. But frankly, those that don’t, it doesn’t matter if it’s your own personal enjoyment. You gotta take what you have, and you gotta, like, appreciate it for what it is and you gotta let it grow inside you for the personal growth that it is and not for everyone else.”
An important message and one that I think a lot of people need to listen to and understand (x)
“Bobby, you can’t keep doing that to him.” Bob raises his eyebrows, putting down his fork. “Doing what, Alicia? Corralling our son into talking about his crush?” “Exactly.”
Or, A fic about Bob and Alicia noticing Jack’s feelings for Bitty before even he does.
Bob Zimmermann is kind of messy, only a bit of a smart ass, and just a tad hard of hearing. Yet even without perfect hearing Bob can’t miss the affection in his son’s voice when talking about a certain line-mate.
Bob Zimmermann is many things, but he is no idiot.
“Did you get that paper done for your…what was it again- american pie class?”
Bob looks over his shoulder just in time to see Alicia send an appraising look from the couch. He catches a hint of a smile.
He winks back and she rolls her eyes in return.
Bob turns again to the large window, the white light blinding him for a moment. The large expanse of grass is still littered with snow, lining the way down to their lake. A blank sky hugs the horizon.
“Women, food, and American culture, Papa.”
“Right. So how’d you do on the paper? Did Eric help you out?”
ekubo: an unregistered and mysterious magical creature that feeds on other people’s magic. he’s the head of slytherin and teaches defense against the dark arts, although he seems to know more about how to conjure curses than how to protect one’s self against them. he’ll fight alongside whoever he thinks is the most likely to win. because reigen know what he is, he’ll occasionally help him with random shenanigans. may or may not have attempted to kill mob a couple of times. somehow always gets away with it and puts the blame on reigen.
reigen: a muggle who managed to not only get into the wizarding world but also to study at hogwarts, graduate from it and get a teaching job there without being outed as a fake wizard. he’s excellent at magic theory and teaches potion making. he uses pre-enchanted gloves to do some things that obligatorily require magic, but he’s found a muggle way around many things in the wizarding world. he uses mob to test out new spells to make enchanted objects that can be used by squibs and muggles, under the pretense of helping him control his wild magic. thankfully, it actually does help. despite what his robes may suggest (he just likes yellow, really), he was sorted in slytherin back when he was a student. having the nerve and cunning to get into hogwarts as a muggle impressed the sorting hat!
serizawa: an undercover death eater who works for toichiro suzuki. he was gifted with immensely powerful magic but as he is afraid of his own power, he put his wand inside an umbrella that apparently (?) restrains his powers. he’s initially convinced he’s fighting for the right ideals but as his time spent teaching transfiguration to young wizards increases, he finds himself questioning everything he’s ever worked for. he was sorted in hufflepuff. he always manages to put any suspicion of him being a death eater on reigen.
Harry held out his hand, “Start over?” he was smiling hesitantly, his eyes showing his worry. Draco took his hand, it was larger than he thought it would be, dry and calloused like a laborer rather than a wizard. Harry’s grip was firm and his smile grew more certain and hopeful. After the first failed handshake, Draco had never allowed himself to think Harry would ever look at him like that.
Draco remembered the hope, the warm flutter of nerves that would bloom into happiness over time, “Expecto Patronum.” he held his breath as he opened his eyes, half expecting to see flesh-eating slugs spilling from his wand. Instead, he saw a thin silvery mist, stretching and curling around him even as it slowly began to dissipate.
His breath caught in excitement. Perhaps he could. Perhaps he might be worthy after all.
When we moved to Pine Drive, I never expected to find a
conspiracy among the kids there.
I was an only child and a loner, thanks to my parents always
moving. My dad’s job had him hopping from state to state. It was a pretty tough
going if you wanted to make friends. But he promised that we’d stay at least
six months here, so I had a chance to make at least one friend.
And whadya know, on my block, there were a ton of kids to make friends with.
I didn’t even really have to try. Two days after moving in,
the Langley twins Diana and David were pounding on my door, asking who owned
that bike parked in the front yard and if they wanted to play. I was shy but
the twins were ecstatic to meet me.
Apparently their group had an odd number before I moved in
and they needed equal teams to play their games with.
There was Alicia, who was six, she was the baby but she was
very sweet. The oldest was Fletcher who was thirteen but his social skills were
a bit behind so he didn’t mind hanging out with a bunch of nine and ten year
olds. I think there was about ten of us all in all.
But I learned soon enough that there was a secret each of
I am a slut for the idea that Lance finds his worth/confidence in a solo mission that sort of goes wrong or takes longer than expected, he ends up saving a planet and bonds with blue, acquiring a few battle scars and a new hair cut maybe?? And when he goes back to the team he brings upon a new strength reminding them of the ocean, and so everyone just cries they are so happy he is back because they all sort of fall apart without him,,,,,, pls slide in my dms if anyone actually writes anything similar because i will marry you
the fact that taako introduces himself as “from tv” before sizzle it up even happened suggests that either he (and maybe lup?) had their own show of some sort back on their home planet, or that its something hes been saying as a joke that eventually came true. also there is every possibility that tv was a thing that existed back on their homeworld
Pairing: dad!Bucky Barnes x female!Reader x some Steve Rogers
Prompt: “I’m gonna show you who’s your real daddy.” (#18)
Warnings: none, really !! i mean, bucky gets kinda jealous, but there’s nothing too intense in this (which is surprising) - the use of ‘Daddy’, but in an innocent way, i promise - some sexual reference
“Are you sure that you can handle this, Stevie?” Bucky hurriedly questions as he finishes-up tying his tie and stuffs his toothbrush into his duffel bag. He taps the button on the back of his hand and a sort-of covering disguises his metal arm. The device was a gift from Tony Stark, and he only uses it whenever he feels the need to, which is rarely ever. “Because we could always just stay home.”
“Don’t worry, Buck,” Steve chuckles at his nervous friend. “You and Y/N deserve a break. It’s your anniversary, go out, have some fun - live a little,” Steve grins as he sits on the couch near where a very content toddler was fiddling with some crayons. “Emma and I will be just fine. Won’t we, Em?” Steve leans forward and tickles her cheek with his finger, earning a bubbly giggle from the child.
“Bucky, she’ll be fine with Steve,” you say as you slide off one of the stools at the kitchen island, swinging your purse over your shoulder. “C’mere, Emmy,” you coo goofily, crouching down and reaching for the toddler. She plops forward onto her hands and crawls over to you, reaching out with her chubby hand towards you. You pick her up, holding her comfortably in your arms.
“Are you gonna be a good girl for Uncle Stevie?” You giggle at her, bopping her nose.
“M-Mama,” Emma babbles, grabbing at your hair.
“No, no, no,” you wince, dragging her hand away from being able to pull at your hair. “Here, say bye to Daddy,” you give her a big, exaggerated kiss on the cheek before handing her off to Bucky and grabbing your suitcase, heading for the door.
“I’ll miss ya, Emmy,” Bucky gives her an Eskimo kiss, Emma’s childish laughter bouncing through the room. “We’ll be back tomorrow,” he promises, setting her back down on the ground. Bucky walks over to the island and grabs his bag, then meets your at the doorway.
