he will always be andrew to me

can’t believe tom holland murdered toby maguire with his bare hands

Shit the Foxes said on talk shows
  • Neil: So Kevin comes in at like 1 in the morning, brand new tattoo on his face, and he's drunk as hell but he's making this surprisingly coherent speech about being the deadliest piece of the board, and I'm just sitting there not saying a word because I don't know a thing about chess.
  • Dan: There's a video on my computer containing cuts from every single time Andrew sent a ball flying into someone's head set to the Donky Kong theme song. It's two and a half hours.
  • Allison: Neil has this thing where bad things happening to him are like a matter of fact. Once, he and I met up for lunch, and when the bill came he asked if he could pay me back later because he got mugged on the way over. As it turns out, what I mistook for Neil being a picky eater was actually Neil trying to eat without upsetting a shallow stab wound.
  • Renee: I don't drink alcohol because you can't account for what you'll do when you're drunk. Though sometimes that turns out fun. About a year ago we found out that Matt knows how to sing Sweden's national anthem backwards by heart, and that was hilarious. But on the other hand I've had Allison and Nicky competing on who can break a glass with their voice at three in the morning, so.
  • Matt: Kevin is definitely seems like everything in his life is about Exy, but get to know him and you realize that he has plenty of interests, it's just that he has no concept of doing things in moderation. So it's less a stick up his butt and more like, I don't know, a pool noodle or something.
  • Aaron: Neil doesn't have a concept of money, a fact which on any given day swings between hilarious and flat out tragic. He refused to pay $15.90 for new pants but said he'd pay for my med school if I stopped making fun of his new haircut. To be clear, both of these things happened in the same conversation.
  • Nicky: I love God, I do. He's always in my heart. But I guess God has abandonment issues because every time I see a commercial for a McFlurry I can just feel him testing me.
  • Andrew: The thing about the Foxes is that the stress level on any given day can fluctuate so wildly you get whiplash. One day you're getting yelled at for not blocking a shot, the next you're getting yelled at for "obstruction of justice" or whatever it is the Feds call it when you remind them that they can't come in without a search warrant. Why Wymack does this willingly is beyond me.
  • Kevin: On the one hand, the Foxes are much less organized, not to mention a smaller team. Every game, we're at an almost immediate disadvantage. On the other hand, Ravens are contractually forbidden from Irish coffee. So overall the decision isn't hard.

            ___________________________________________-

“Am I outta my head, am I outta my mind? If you only knew the bad things I like.”

It was the little things about him that always had me craving him. The veins along his wrists, when his jaw was clenched. The little hints of curls that poked out of his gray beanie, almost as if they were begging to see the light of day. The frame of his body was probably my favorite part. I had never been attracted to buff men, particularly guys like my friend Archie Andrews. He was a whole different story though. He was tall and lean, almost comparing to the body of a track runner, but his body was still toned in all of the right places, and he was certainly strong enough to carry me up my stairs to my bedroom. Jughead Jones made me think the most sinful things, and I couldn’t ever stop. I’m just lucky that the feeling is mutual.

“Y/n?Did you just hear a thing I said?” My best friend Veronica looked at me expectantly, her eyebrows raised and looking frustrated with me. Truthfully, I hadn’t heard a thing she said. I was too busy focusing my attention on something more…interesting.

Jughead Jones had started out as a friend. That’s how they all did, right? We had four classes together, and mutual friends, so of course, we grew incredibly close over time.Eventually, it became something more The boy stared back at me, his blue eyes piercing through mine and in to my head, almost reading my thoughts. I saw as he mouthed a simple word “tonight” and I gave him a slight nod, biting my lip in response.

“Sorry V, she’s too focused on her loverboy.” Archie taunted me, passing by us and to his friend, knocking shoulders with him. Jughead blushed slightly, not moving from his position on the lockers, his arms crossed over him. I could fix that.

I strutted over, my hips moving a little more than they usually do. Jughead uncrossed his arms and they immediately went to my waist once I reached him, pulling me in to his body that was still against the lockers. I leaned up, pressing my lips to his quickly before the bell rang. I broke apart from my boyfriend, my hand sliding down his shirt slowly. I pulled away, winking at him before strutting off. I didn’t even have to turn around to know his eyes were on me, watching my every step.

“No matter what you say, no matter what you do, I only wanna do bad things to you.”

Jughead and I had been together for a good six months before we got in to our first fight. He always had his nose shoved in to his laptop, and I got no attention from him anymore, and I was angry. I had waited a while for him to notice, and he never did, so I took matters in to my own hands.

My boyfriend sat at a stool in my kitchen, his hands in his hair and his laptop in front of him, His beanie long forgotten on the counter. If I wasn’t so pissed at him, I might have offered to release some of that tension, but I wasn’t in a giving mood that day. I slammed the laptop shut, my eyes glaring at him. Jughead looked up at me with a confused look.

“Forsythe, do you remember why I invited you over?” I asked him, my eyebrow cocked while I waited to his answer. His mouth opened slightly, trying to string together something and drawing up a blank. I scoffed, shaking my head and walking away.

“Baby, wait-” Jughead hopped off the stool, following me out of the room.

“Jughead, I asked you to come over because I wanted to spend time with you!! Not so I could watch you on your laptop the whole time! I just want some of you to myself!is that too much?”

“You know how important this novel is to me, y/n-”

“ I know that! But I should be more important!” I shouted. I didn’t care if I sounded selfish. I was pissed.

“ Of course you’re more important! What kind of question is that?!” Jughead looked at me like I was ridiculous and I shook my head.

“Really? Because sometimes it feels like you would choose that book over me if it came down to it.” I crossed my arms, my foot tapping against the hardwood floor. Jughead’s face fell, and the anger on his face was replaced with a sad look.

“That is not true, that is not true at all, I would always choose you.” Jughead closed the gap between us, his arms wrapping around my waist. I pushed him away slightly, my hands on his chest.

“Prove it.” I spoke bravely, my tone of voice becoming different.

Everything happened relatively quickly from there.Jughead’s hands went around my back, lifting me so my legs were wrapped around his waist, and his fingers wrapping around the backs of my thighs. His mouth was on mine and I felt my back hit the wall. Jughead’s lips went to my neck, sucking harshly at the skin until purple bruises adorned it. My hands went to his sweater, almost ripping the fabric just to get it off of him.

“ My room,” I panted, my hands tangled in Jughead’s hair while he sucked harshly at the collarbone peeking out of my tank top. He adjusted my body that was wrapped around his before making his way to the stairs, carrying me up them. I felt my back hit my mattress and Jughead was on top of me, his legs on either side of my waist and his hands already under my shirt. His had already been tossed over a chair in my room.

I flipped us over so I was on top, grinding my lower body in to his. Jughead let out a low groan, his head tilting upwards at the contact. My hands made quick work unbuckling his belt, pulling it off of him quickly and unbuttoning his jeans. Jughead looked at me impressed.

“No matter how many times you do that, I’m still pretty shocked at your skillwork.” Jughead’s arms went behind his head, a smirk now on his face.

“Don’t get too comfortable.” I taunted, my hands going behind my back.

I unclasped my bra, tossing it across my room somewhere. Jughead sat up quickly, his mouth already on my chest, littering my body with hickeys. He flipped us over again so he was in control, and pressed open mouth kisses down my stomach to my hips, his fingers curling under my sweatpants and dragging the waistband down and off of me. My breath hitched in my throat when I felt his lips on my thigh, leaving light little kisses up them until his mouth was over the fabric of my underwear. My back arched off the mattress at the feeling, my fingers gripping the sheets until my knuckles turned white. Jughead hooked two of his digits in to the side of my underwear, pulling them slowly down my thighs.

“Jug… Jug please.” I begged, not really in the mood to take things slow. Jughead pulled the fabric down the rest of my legs, and they went flinging in an unknown direction of the bedroom.Jughead’s head dipped down, and I was breathing intensely, my hands going to his hair and tangling in to the strands, gripping tightly.

“We’re both wild, and the nights young, and you’re my drug.”

Parties weren’t Jughead’s thing, but Cheryl was in fact now a part of our gang, and it was only fair to at least make an appearance. So, on Saturday night, I was getting dressed and ready to go to her party. I wore a simple blue dress a gold belt with a bow around my waist, and some black ankle boots. Veronica and Betty laid on my bed, chatting amongst the two of them while I finished my makeup. I was finishing my lipstick when Archie and Jughead walked in to my door, both of them surprisingly having smiles on their faces.

Jughead made his way towards me immediately, pressing a kiss to my temple and standing behind me, his arms wrapping loosely around my shoulders. I looked at him through my vanity mirror, blowing a kiss at him, and he blushed and rolled his eyes.

“Are you almost ready y/n?” Betty sighed exasperatedly. She say up from the bed, smoothing out her romper, and Veronica wrapped her an arm around her waist, leaning her head against her girlfriends shoulder

“Oh, Bets, let the poor girl take her time. It’s always classier to be fashionably late.” Veronica pressed a kiss to the shell of Betty’s ear and her face went red.

                                       —————————————–

We arrived on time to the party and everyone split up, Betty and Veronica dancing, Archie talking to Valerie, and my back to Jughead’s chest as we sunk in to a corner of the room, to have some privacy. His arms were around my waist, holding my tightly to his body while he pressed kisses to my neck, whispering incredibly sinful things about what he would be doing to me right this minute had we not been at Cheryl’s house.

I know that Jughead would have rather been at my house tonight, cuddled in to each other on my couch watching a movie, or just talking and being in each other’s presence, or even trying out some of the things he had been whispering to me. I felt a little sympathetic for him, but I knew just the way to cheer him up.

I turned around, my hands slipping in to his, and I pulled him towards the middle of the room. An upbeat song was playing and everybody was dancing and jumping around. Jughead huffed, not wanting to go, but I knew he wouldn’t resist if I tried hard enough.

I finally got him to the middle of the room, my hands lacing with his, my back pressed against his chest as my hips swayed back and forth to the music. I could feel Jughead was tense, so I gave him a little incentive by pushing my lower body in to his slightly, and I heard his breath shudder a bit before he was moving his body against mine and his lips were on my neck.

“we should go back to your place."Jughead whispered, his lips brushing against my skin. I tilted my neck so he could have easier access, taking his hands in mine and running them down the sides of my body. With the way his body was moving against mine, and all the things he had been sharing with me earlier, it would be an understatement to say I was worked up. I grabbed his hand again, weaving through the crowds and shouting a goodbye to Betty and Veronica before starting the trek to my house. Jughead and I walked hand in hand, slowing down every once in a while to kiss each other.

"When we get home, you’re in for it.”

“Oh, I know.”

“And you keep me in with those hips, while my teeth sink in those lips, while your body’s giving me life, and you suffocate in my kiss.”

Fuck, Forsythe.” I hissed, my nails digging in to his back. My hips moved slowly down on to his length, my fingers moving up his back and in to his hair. His hands were wrapped around my body, his lips biting harshly at my shoulder. When I felt my body adjust to him, I rose my hips before sinking back down on to him again.Jughead captured my lips with his, his teeth biting gently in to my bottom lip. We lazily kissed as I moved up and down slowly, my walls tightening around him slightly. Jughead held me as close to his body as he could, our chests pressed together.

I was on cloud 9 every time I was intimate with Jug. Everything about him was breath taking, and he was so beautiful when he was like this: his lips slightly parted, his curly hair matted down and sticking to his forehead, and his body shining from the warmth of our bodies colliding.

I started to move my hips a little faster, grinding down on to Jughead’s hips. Jughead buried his face in to the crook of my neck, and his arms wrapped around me even tighter, if that was possible. I used whatever energy I had left to move my hips faster, bringing Jughead and I both to the edge. I could feel the warmth in the pit of my stomach, warning me that I was close.

“F-fuck, Forsythe,I-”

“I know, baby.” Jughead began to meet his hips with mine on every thrust, one arm unwrapping from around my body to press the pad of his finger to my clit. I gasped at the sensation, my nails scratching against his back harder.

“Shit, shit, I-I’m-” I cut myself off, not having enough breath to finish my sentence. I felt my stomach tighten and then I was cumming on Jughead’s dick, a quiet moan escaping my lips. I kept thrusting against him, riding out my high while he chases his, soon I was being hit with overstimulation, but I powered through it, bouncing against Jughead as fast as I could.

“Fuck, fuck, shit, I’m gonna-” strings of curse words escaped Jughead’s lips as he flipped us over, pounding in to me as hard as he could. His lips went around on of my nipples, sucking harshly, and his fingers rubbed quickly and forcefully against my clit, drawing out another orgasm from me.

Before I knew it, I was cumming again, this time Jughead following as he came inside me. Jughead’s body collapsed on top of mine, not before pulling out of me slowly. My hands tangled themselves in his hair and his arms went back around my body, his head laying against my chest. I could feel his heart race against my own beating heart, and I looked down at my beautiful boyfriend, as I smiled. He was all mine.

“The way we love, is so unique, and when we touch, I’m shivering.”

I woke up to the light shining from my bedroom window, the rays of sun peeking through my curtains and casting rays of light along the sleeping bodies of Jughead and I. The night before had been our one year anniversary, and he “spent the night”, Which resulted in to this morning, the both of us naked in my bed. Jughead was already awake, his fingers tracing along my arms.Goosebumps ran along my skin at the feeling of his touch, leaning up to give him a kiss.

“Good morning, sunshine.” Jughead mumbled against my lips. I giggled as his fingers went to my sides, tickling me the slightest bit.

“Good morning, handsome.” I smiled down at him, my eyes practically in the shapes of hearts. I loved this boy to death. He was the most perfect thing I had ever found in this world.

“How are you feeling?” He asked me, his fingers stopping so his arms could wrap around my back. He pulled our bodies tighter together.

“I’m great.” I told him, leaning down to press a kiss to the tip of his nose. Jughead’s face scrunched up slightly and I giggle again, my hands cupping his cheeks.

“I love you, so much. So, so, soso much.” I started pressing kisses all over his face and I felt it scrunch up again before catching my lips with his. Jughead wasn’t a super affectionate person in public, so I loved these moments I had with him, hidden away under my covers, where it was just the two of us.

“And no one has to get it, just you and me.”

“I swear to god, you two are the most sickeningly cute couple in..in… In god knows what!” Veronica threw her hands up dramatically before slamming them down on to the table at the booth. She looked at the two of us, who sat across from each other. Jughead and I didn’t break our eye contact, still looking at each other and smiling brightly.

“Come on, V.It’s cute. They’re cute.” Betty defended, sitting across from her girlfriend.

“ I know, but look at them! All they do is stare at each other like its the morning after their first time.“ Veronica scoffed before pausing for a second. Her mouth opened in shock before she whispered loudly.

"You guys fucked!” Jughead and I broke apart at that, looking at Veronica with wide eyes. I was about to shake my head when Jughead interrupted.

“We’ve been fucking, V. Catch up.” Ronnie and Betty’s mouth fell open simultaneously at the confidence in Jughead’s voice. He leaned back in the booth and turned his attention back to me, cheekily winking at me. My cheeks grew hot as I looked back at my best friends, mouths still open in shock.

“You guys, you, you’re-” Ronnie stammered, looking back and forth at each other. Jughead and I started laughing at Ronnie’s reaction, and she sputtered.

“I don’t get your relationship. I seriously don’t.” Ronnie slumped in her seat, her chin resting in the palm of her hand.

“Cheer up, V. It’s y/n and Jughead. Nobody gets it except them.” Jughead and I had already tuned out Betty though, our attention going back to each other. Nobody had to understand our relationship, because it wasn’t theirs. It was ours, And it was perfect.

heres a prompt if u were interested: neil being oblivious when flirted with constantly while andrew doing nothing, passing by, twirling his racquet is enough to get neil's attention (the rest of the foxes smirk)

“You’re all zoned out,” Matt says in her ear. Dan tips him immediately backwards with a hand to the chest.

“Shush,” she tells him, gritted through the straw she’s worrying between her teeth. She ran out of the watered-down pepsi they’re serving in battered plastic jugs a half hour ago.

“Dan.”

“Shush,” she insists, pressing two fingers to his mouth. She’s watching Neil trying to fill his water cup over at the far side of the banquet hall. He’s hovering in that way he does, like a shark who hasn’t figured out if something’s food yet.

There’s this sweet brown-eyed boy trying to talk to him, possibly the only male cheerleader in the room, certainly the least in the loop about Exy gossip. Dan watches him touch Neil’s arm and Neil jerks backwards into the table, toppling an entire icy water jug so it slops onto the floor and seeps through the tablecloth to the dark wood underneath.

Heads pop up, the boy falls all over himself to pour Neil a new glass, and Neil wanders off, bored.

Dan has noticed that people really want Neil to have a heart of gold. They like the news stories and they want them for themselves. They want the seams showing on his face and the tragedy in his back pocket, and they want to show everyone how accepting they are for finding his scars sexy.

All they really want is his trim waist and his pretty eyes and his vice-cap badge and the way he shoves cameras away and has more history than any twenty-year-old has any business having.

Dan’s seen it all before. The way people like the character you’re playing so much that they want to take you home and open you up and see how deep it goes.

Neil’s worse at knowing when it’s happening. Dan’s a professional. She can see the way their eyes follow him because at least a dozen are always following her too, especially in places like this banquet. They look at Neil, or Dan, and a little part of them expects a show.

She watches Neil walk towards them with his eyes pouring over the room like liquid and finding every crevice, every exit. She looks at Matt.

“He’s doing that thing where he’s making a spectacle but he thinks he’s being very subtle.”

“That’s his whole shtick. I’m fond of it, now.” Matt grins.

“Do you think he actually noticed he was being hit on?”

Matt hums, watching Neil wind through the tables back to the fox—trojan extravaganza at theirs. “I doubt he knows anything about that boy other than the fact that he was in front of him for a bit.”

Summary: You’re are nervous for an upcoming sex scene with Kj, so he invites you to his trailer to help calm your nerves.

Warnings: sex, blowjobs, cussing, sex in a trailer

Requested: nope

Part 1 (Ross’s part) || Part 3 (Cole’s part)

It was just another day, and you were going into work as usual, but today you were extremely nervous. You had been cast in the new show “Riverdale” on the CW. You were to play Mercy Hamburg, a sweet cheerleader who has the biggest crush on the boy next door, Archie Andrews. Archie was clueless to Mercy’s love for him since they had been friends all their lives, and he only saw Mercy as that—friends.

You had never been in front of the camera before. You had been a director’s assistant for a couple of years now. It was just recently that you decided to change it up, and start auditioning for parts. When you auditioned for the part in Riverdale, you felt that you killed it. But as the weeks went by and you didn’t get a call, you started to get nervous. After weeks of waiting, your manager called you and gave you the good news that you had landed the role.

You had bonded with the cast and became best friends quickly. Everyone was so funny and comfortable to be around. You especially clicked with Kj. His contagious laugh made bubbles form in your stomach. Your character wasn’t the only one catching feeling for a certain auburn haired boy. You knew how unprofessional it was to have a crush on one of your coworkers, so you pushed all the butterflies aside. You tried not to think about his pink lips and how his muscular arms would feel wrapped around your waist.

It didn’t help that your character was in love with his. Whenever you had to look into his eyes or comfort him, you would get this feeling in your stomach that you couldn’t control. Your cheeks would blush when his character would say something sweet to yours. You just blamed it on your acting, the director even complimented you on how well you played a girl in love with a boy that doesn’t love her back.

Today you were more nervous than you usually were when you had to film with Kj. You had to film a sex scene with him today. Of course, you weren’t going to go all the way, but you did have to make-out heavily and undress each other. Even if you filmed the scene with someone other than Kj, you would still feel anxious. You had never kissed someone you weren’t romantically involved with. You weren’t the type of girl who went out to parties and slept around.

Kj knew this so he sent you a text saying to meet him in his trailer before your call time. So that’s exactly what you did after you arrived at the studio. You walked into his trailer which was unlocked and saw him sitting on the love sac in the corner of the room. You walked in and smiled at him as you sat down on the couch across from him.

“Hey, how are you feeling about our scene today?” Kj inquired as he held eye contact with you.

“To be honest, I’m really nervous. I’ve never kissed anyone on camera before especially someone I met like a month ago.” You confessed while bouncing your foot up and down, a nervous habit you have.

“Come over here and sit by me and we can get to know each other better.” Kj scooted over to make room, but no matter how far he did, you were going to have to basically sit on his lap.

You got up and went over to sit down and your legs entangled with his. He put his hand on your thigh and looked at your lips for just a second before flicking up to your eyes.

“How about we make ourselves more acquainted with each other?” Kj whispered with playfulness laced in his words as he rubbed his hand up and down your thigh.

You giggled and looked down at his hand for a second before looking up at his face while you bit your lip, “How do we suppose we do that?”

“Like this,” Kj stated before he put his hand on your cheek and brought his lips to yours. You leaned into the kiss as you kissed back and wrapped your fingers into his hair. The kiss had a sense of urgency to it as Kj’s tongue explored your mouth.

Kj moved his hands to your hips as he guided you to sit on his lap. The butterflies in your stomach had flown away and were replaced with a sense of need. You started to grind your center over his and he let a groan out.

“Fuck, keep doing that.” He grunted as he pressed his fingertips into your hips to guide them to move over his.

You tugged at the bottom of his shirt needing there to be fewer clothes separating the two of you. He pulled off his shirt with one swift movement and threw it to the floor.

You ran your lips over his newly exposed skin, stopping at the base of his neck. You focused all your attention to this spot because when you sucked, Kj let out a loud moan.

Kj stopped you before you left a mark by sliding your shirt over your head and throwing it over to pile on the floor. He hummed in response in seeing your boobs in a black lace bra.

He brought you closer to him and started to kiss down your body while grinding his hips up into your core. You could feel a knot start to form in the pit of your stomach and you moaned out his name.

Kj unbuttoned his pants and pulled them down around his ankles. You sat up and rubbed him over his underwear. He was already starting to get hard so you pressed down a little harder and Kj let out a deep groan, “If you continue this, I’m going to come in my pants.”

You slipped down off the love sac onto your knees in between Kj’s legs and pulled down his underwear. His shaft sprang up and hit his stomach, “Mhm someone is excited,” you said with a smirk as he wriggled underneath your touch.

You took him into your hand and started to swipe up and down. You then took his head into your mouth and paid special attention to it. You flicked your tongue on the backside of his shaft where the bundle of nerves was.

Kj arched his back and took your hair into a make-shift ponytail while letting out a deep moan, “Yes baby girl just like that.”

You started to slide your mouth down, taking more of him into your mouth. He hit the back your throat and you started to gag, but Kj held you down by your hair for a couple of seconds more before lifting you up. You then licked up his shaft and encompassing his head in your mouth again.

Kj sudden pull you up off him and into his lap, “I want to come inside you,” He mumbled as he pulled down your shorts.

He pulled your underwear to the side and lined up himself with you. He went slowly as he filled you up. You let out a loud groan as he stretched you out, and he let you adjust before guiding your hips up and down on top of him.

You started to slowly move back and forth, getting used to his generous size. Your clit was being pressed against his abdomen making your head spin.

He started to moan when you finally adjusted and started to bounce faster. He began to thrust up into your core. You moaned his name with a few profanities as the knot in your stomach tightened.

“Kj, fuck, I’m about to come,” You grunted as he continued thrust relentlessly into your cunt.

“Hold it,” Kj commanded with a deep voice as he pounded into you. You didn’t think you could hold it much longer.

“I can’t, fuck, please let me come,” You begged as you opened your eyes to see Kj staring up at you. This sent him over the edge. You felt his load force its way into you and the ripple effect caused you to also release and break into an overwhelming orgasm.

As Kj’s thrusts slowed down, he let you ride out your orgasm while he stared up in awe at your sweat covered face. He slowly pulled out of you and laid you beside him.

“Do you think you will be comfortable now when we film our scene?” He asked with a smug tone after you had composed your ragged breathing.

“No, because I’m going to be horny the whole time,” You laughed as you turned on your side to face him.

“Well, then that just means we’ll have to meet in my trailer again after.”

“I guess so.” You started to get up and get dressed as you heard a knock at the door. You started to panic, but Kj went to the door and the woman outside said he was needed on set. He quickly dismissed her as he turned around to you.

“Ready to go film?” He asked with a smirk on his face.

A/N- leave me some feedback in my inbox! I always love talking to you guys!

The Signs as “Riverdale” Characters

“From a distance, it presents itself like so many other small towns all over the world. Safe. Decent. Innocent. Get closer, though, and you start seeing the shadows underneath.”

Veronica Lodge - Aries, Gemini, Capricorn
“Eventually, there will be a reckoning.  Or, maybe, that reckoning is now. And, maybe, that reckoning is me.”, “ You wanted fire? Sorry Cherylbombshell my speciality is ice.”

Archie Andrews - Taurus, Sagittarius
“You are so perfect. I’ve never been good enough for you. I’ll never be good enough for you.”“ I was born alone, I’ll die alone, and I’ll sing alone. “

Betty Cooper - Cancer, Leo
“I do everything for everyone. Everything to be perfect. The perfect daughter, the perfect sister, the perfect student. Can’t I do this one thing for me?”, “As hot and as smart as you are, you should be the queen bee of this drab hive.”

Jughead Jones - Virgo, Scorpio, Aquarius
“Why don’t we do that bro thing where we nod like douches and mutually suppress our emotions?”, “ We’re all crazy… We’re not our parents. Betty. We’re not our families.”

Cheryl Blossom - Libra, Pisces

“I loved my brother, he was and always will be my soulmate”, “I need girls with fire on my squad.”, “ He protected me. Every single day. I wish, that day at the river, I had protected him.”

“Andrew, are you my boyfriend?” Neil asked.

Without actually meaning to, he’d been paying (probably) too much attention to the way the press referred to Dan and Matt sometimes – the way “captain Dan Wilds” was sometimes “Matt Boyd’s girlfriend,” or how sometimes people speculated about “Nicky Hemmick’s boyfriend from Germany.” And when it came to him and Andrew, Neil didn’t care about labels, not really, or about what people thought they were to each other. Truthfully, Neil knew that boyfriend wasn’t a sufficient enough term for their relationship, but it didn’t hurt to tease Andrew once in every while.

“I am your nothing,” Andrew said, as Neil had expected he would. He was on the couch, legs pulled up close to his chest with a book balanced on his thighs.

From his spot on the other end of the sofa, Neil said, “A rare occasion when you’re wrong,” and bit back his smile. Twisting Andrew’s own words against him was one of Neil’s favorite pasttimes. “I am your nothing.”

When Andrew said nothing, Neil nudged him with his toes. Andrew responded with a bored glance before focusing back on his book. Neil crawled the small space between them and let his head lean against Andrew’s shoulder.

I am you nothing, and you are my everything,” Neil said, knowing Andrew was listening. “You are my team, you are my family, you are my home. And you’re also my boyfriend.”

A hand turned Neil’s face towards Andrew’s, and Andrew’s golden eyes were… steady. Searching. “You,” he said, “are everything.”

And Neil knew it was true. It would always be true.

the spy au that @philosophium ordered !!

Andrew slips through a slit in the crowd, brushing through the sleek trains of expensive gowns, rich wool suits jackets catching on his own. He’s on his second flute of champagne, and the tartness keeps him focused. His attention is on the flavour and the rim of the glass and the warp of faces through it. His earpiece crackles and whispers.

He can see his mark on the opposite side of the room, surrounded by servers and liars and pretty things. One of them is all three, Andrew can tell: a waiter’s vest, a seam of over-applied foundation, and bright blue eyes.

He’s distracting, flighty, a rubber band pulled all the way back. He looks like the memory of a case file, and a name occurs to Andrew one second before Kevin hisses it into his ear.

“It’s fuckin’ Charlie Pilot. Don’t engage, Minyard, we’re not here for him.”

Andrew doesn’t make any effort to reply, just takes another pull of champagne. He’s not really watching the troupes of entertainers or the clockwork security or the velvet and silk blooming under bowing chandeliers. He’s not even watching the man he’s either going to rob or kill, who’s laughing and weedy, red in the face from the alcohol. He’s stuck on Pilot –  next to his target, holding a heavily stocked tray of appetizers, his expression pleasant and empty.

He’ll be an irritant to what should be a straightforward plan, if he keeps hovering. Andrew takes a loaded step forward and the voice in his ear complains.

“Don’t even think about moving in until Pilot leaves. He’s probably doing reconnaissance for Matt. I bet he doesn’t even know about the file.”

Andrew watches Pilot’s face tick, the way he blinks like he’s on a timer, the way he’s worrying the inside of his cheek with his teeth.

“I bet he does,” Andrew murmurs, and he drains the last of the champagne. He plucks his tie pin away from the fabric and drops it in the empty glass, leaving it on a passing tray.

“What— what the fuck Minyard, we’ve lost visuals. Do you hear me? Andrew? Andrew?”

Andrew weaves through the rest of the golden crowd, ignoring the buzz of Kevin’s reprimands in his ear. He finds a new spot on the outskirts of the crowd where Pilot has installed himself.

“Do you know how fucking expensive those cameras are? You’re such a piece of shit operative,” Kevin says. “When you inevitably come back without the intelligence and without our equipment, it’s costing us to keep you around, do you realize that?”

Andrew’s more focused on the way Pilot’s shoulders are turning to face him, the slim line of his tailored pants, that eyelash-thick smudge of un-blended make up.

“Shrimp?” Pilot offers, swaying the tray in his direction.

“No,” Andrew says, but he stays uncomfortably near, feeling along the edges of his boundaries without finding any seams. Pilot’s composure is still and reserved as a frost-ravaged garden.

“Have a good evening then,” Pilot says graciously, turning back towards the host that Andrew should be sizing up but hasn’t even looked at. He glances at him for a sliver of a moment, finds himself uninterested, and looks back at Pilot.

Andrew catches him suddenly by the arm, but relaxes his grip just as quickly, caught off guard by his own impulsivity. His own disguise is just an invitation and sun bleached hair; he isn’t playing a character like Pilot is. He’s neutral for a living, but Pilot is a new weight on his scale, unbalancing him so that he can’t quite settle at zero.

When their eyes meet, the polite, curious waiter snips out of existence. Charlie Pilot stares at Andrew, with eyes like the bluest part of a fire.

“There’s a conflict of interest,” he tells Andrew calmly. “And your interest will lose.”

“I’m not interested in anything,” Andrew says broadly.

“Hm,” Pilot says, unconvinced. “You’re lying.”

“I don’t lie,” Andrew says. He’s always saying it; it’s a novelty that employers enjoy and enemies challenge, amused.

Pilot raises his jaw, mouth twitching. “No, you wouldn’t, would you.” His eyes flicker to the side of Andrew’s face, where Kevin is breathing furiously through his earpiece, then down to the grip he still has on his forearm. He lowers his tray down until the rough edge is pressed to the root of Andrew’s hand threateningly. “You’ll want to let me go, Andrew, or you’re going to end up needing a longer armband.”

Andrew feels genuine surprise squeeze his fingers around Pilot’s wrist. He hadn’t noticed the black fabric extending a whiff beyond his crisp white sleeve. He lets go, and Pilot tucks his shoulders back, satisfied. His hair is too dark to match his freckles, Andrew notes quietly. It is, perhaps, what the make up was meant to cover up.

“You are not going to win, Charlie,” Andrew says. “We’re the more capable team.”

Pilot smiles indulgently. “‘Charlie’,” he repeats, mouth curling around the name. “It’s been a long time since I’ve been Charlie Pilot.” He jostles his tray from one hand to another, and loosens his collar with his freed hand. “And I don’t think you understand how much farther ahead we are than you. If you’re looking for information, we already have it. If you’re trying to find the connections this place has to the Yakuza, we’re the ones undoing them.”

“Who’s we? I don’t remember seeing anything about loyalty in your case file. You’re just a runner.”

Pilot looks briefly bothered by this, and he juts his chin again. “I’m loyal to whoever’s doing the work that needs to be done.”

“That doesn’t answer my question. Who are you?”

He looks down, at Andrew’s empty hands, at the hip where he’s hiding his gun. His expression is warped and sad when he looks up, like the real filling in his strange costume is finally oozing out.

“You can call me Neil,” he says, and drops the whole tray of food so that it clatters and rolls into the host’s feet. There are gasps and yelps, partygoers dodging and stooping to catch the runaway platter. Andrew looks impulsively down to track its progress, and when he looks sharply back up into the knot of activity, Neil is gone. Of course he is.

He doesn’t have time to think about where he might have disappeared to, just steps neatly into the opportunity that’s been afforded to him. He uses the distraction as a doorway directly into the offices behind the coddled host.

Kevin is asking repeatedly for updates, and Andrew fishes the earpiece out and tucks it into his breast pocket. He likes to be alone for this part, when the most important door closes behind him and everything makes as much sense as a ticking clock.

He keeps thinking of Neil’s reaction to ‘runner’, of the vulnerability trussed up in his persona. He finds himself sick to his stomach wanting to know what his real hair colour is.

He tries every door in the polished row of them, finding all of them locked. He picks the lock on the door farthest from the burble of the ballroom behind him, and cracks into what looks like a room built for business arrangements and drinking. There’s a snifter next to a half dozen tumblers on a cart along the wall, and extensive cabinets under the desk.

He feels his way along the underside of the desk, and opens each drawer, idealistically left unlocked and unprotected. He finds useless information and shady information and heaps of anonymous, unlabeled tapes.

He finds the safe in the floor, facing up patiently under a wingback chair and a panel of floorboard. He stoops so that he’s face to face with it, shrugs his jacket off like a dead skin onto the floor, and puts the heart of a stethoscope to the face of the safe.

He’s sweating, spread out surreptitiously on the floor, but the safe is flimsy. It cracks in under an hour, the party wilting two rooms over, pressure taking him by the hair. Andrew flicks the door open impatiently, unwinding the stethoscope from around his neck.

It’s filled top to bottom with paper, and he reaches for the first file, carding his fingers through the spill of sheets.

Got you, it says. Over and over again, in unassuming little typescript. And on the next page, got you.

Andrew’s fingers flex. The next file is the same, and the next. A million taunting, twirling repetitions: got you. Got this. Got here first.

The safe was already cracked. The list of names was already stolen. Neil’s face winks and swarms when he closes his eyes, furious. If you’re looking for information, we already have it.

He roots around for the bud in his pocket and pops it back into his ear. He leans back, splayed away from the spill from the safe, the stacks of failure. He enunciates clearly into the microphone sewn into his collar.

“We have to find Neil.”

my marvelous anon, i am here to grant thine request, with a small side of accidental lowkey renison. enjoy <3. also on AO3.

He did it. He actually did it. After months of constant warnings and threats, Wymack finally followed through.

Neil can do nothing but stare at the flyer in his hand, mildly in fear and majorly in shock. A mere thirty seconds prior, Wymack had stormed out of his office brandishing this piece of paper like both a white flag and a declaration of war. He had paused just inside the lounge, making sure to gather everyone’s attention, before striding over to Neil and shoving the flyer in his face.

“This is for last weekend,” Wymack had said. “I already—don’t give me that look, you know exactly what the fuck I’m talking about. I already signed you up. It starts at 8:00 AM on Saturday, and unless you want your ass glued to the bench for the rest of the season, I suggest you be there.” He had then turned back around and disappeared into the hallway, leaving a room full of confused and curious Foxes in his wake.

A full minute passes before chaos breaks out and everyone starts moving at once. Various forms of “What the hell?” can be heard from all corners of the room. Neil blinks as the flyer is yanked out of his hand. He looks up to see Andrew, his eyes scanning the paper. Andrew looks up at him, and Neil’s heart nearly explodes because this look on his face, it looks like the honest-to-god beginnings of a smile. And sure, it’s at Neil’s expense, but he would embarrass the fuck out of himself at every turn if this was his reward. Andrew moves to hand the paper back to Neil.

“Okay, seriously,” Kevin huffs out with impatience as he pushes through his teammates. He snags the flyer away from Andrew who couldn’t be bothered to stop him. Kevin reads aloud, “The Annual Hilton Head Island Marathon…a MARATHON? Really, Neil?! Is this a joke?”

“I don’t know, Kevin,” says Andrew, his voice taking on the persona of a kindergarten teacher. “Did it look like a joke to you?”

Kevin’s only response is to scowl and shove the flyer into Neil’s chest. “This better not affect your performance at our game on Friday. You don’t get to take it easy just because you have to run 26.2 miles the next day.”

By the time Kevin has stormed out of the building, the rest of the Foxes have commenced their team wide freak out.

“Seriously?! He actually came through on that threat?” Dan is caught halfway between being genuinely worried and dying of laughter.

“Neil…bro…what the fuck…” Matt says from somewhere on his left, placing a consoling hand lightly on his shoulder.

“Oh my god, Neil. We have to be there. I have to witness this historic moment. You finally get to put your insane running habits into practice,” Allison is rambling from across the room.

“Wait, what was Wymack talking about ‘last weekend’? What did you do?” Asks Nicky, unaccustomed to being out of the loop.

(100 years later I finally got to your prompt, mac-noa ! I wasn’t explicitly lovey dovey bc I didn’t want to be ooc and it’s only actually from Matt’s POV, but I hope it works for you!!!)

Matt and Dan walk in late, strung together by the hands, still flushed from kissing in the car pre-practice. They go sheepish when they see the unimpressed look on Wymack’s face. Renee smiles brightly at them and Allison gives them a brisk nod, but the monsters are in more disarray than usual. Bits and pieces of their group are missing, and it leaves Matt with the peculiar feeling of looking at a familiar photograph that suddenly has the faces scratched out.

Their ringleader is absent, for starters, couch conspicuously empty beside Kevin — who looks unmoved and stoic and nauseated as usual.

It’s not unusual for Andrew to do things just because it’s inconvenient for others, but it’s a little weird for Neil to skip out as well. It’s a lot weird that he’s late at the same time as Andrew when Exy hangs in the balance.

Any association between them feels like something Matt has to fix, like he set something bad in motion by meeting Neil later than Andrew did in the fall. They’re probably off having one of their weird, close, angry looking conversations that always end in agreements Matt doesn’t understand.

Wymack waits thirty seconds past Matt and Dan’s arrival, and then he looks at the couch like it’s causing him pain, and starts delegating tasks for the day. He only asks once where the missing links are and there’s a lot of shrugging and staring straight ahead before he gives up.

They’re less rowdy than usual, and Matt thinks they’re all individually trying to solve Neil and Andrew’s absence in their heads. (As soon as they get up to move to the court, Allison starts whispering numbers for their betting pool until Dan bats her away.)

Matt squeezes Dan’s hand until she looks at him, and they have a brief conversation in smothered smiles.

They split up to change, and Matt straps into his gear feeling vaguely ill at ease. He keeps glancing at the door between straps and tugs of his uniform, and he notices Nicky doing the same thing. He smiles awkwardly when Matt catches him, and Matt feels a rare pulse of kinship for him. Both Andrew’s lot and the upperclassmen seem equally confused, so they have something in common for once.

The strange feeling follows Matt all the way to the court and through the first set of drills before Neil finally shows up, looking harried and flushed and all sorts of things Matt doesn’t usually associate with Neil.

He pushes into the court straight past Wymack’s blustering reprimand, and Matt catches the tail end of a flippant apology before Neil’s sprinting to centre court.

Matt stares at him. Neil waits, twisting his racquet in his hand, shoulders tense like he expects someone to toss him into the gameplay by force.

“What?” Neil asks, annoyed.

“You’re late,” Matt says stupidly.

“Twenty minutes late,” Kevin interrupts. “Almost like you’re trying to get worse.”

“He was with me,” Andrew says suddenly, breezing past them towards goal looking impossible to have spent twenty straight minutes with. Neil sort of jolts at the sound of his voice, and Matt eyes him narrowly.

home sweet home; andreil
  • I can’t help but think a lot about Neil and Andrew just doing domestic, mundane, couple things.
  • Neil and Andrew at the grocery store. Neil noticing Andrew’s stocking up on all the sugary foods and beverages he can get his hands on, so he wanders off to the veggies and health food aisles to make sure Andrew balances his diet. “No more ice cream breakfasts, okay?” Neil says, when Andrew just shoots him a blank stare, Neil shrugs. “Don’t look at me like that, I’m just trying to keep your inevitable risk of diabetes at bay.” Andrew barely blinks. “You’re diabetes,” he mumbles. At this, Neil breaks into a small, slightly teasing smile, “Besides, I want you to cook for me.” “And I want you to shut up,” Andrew replies, dryly. “I guess neither of us are going to get what we want.” Despite this, slowly, steadily, Andrew does start improving his eating habits, and when he realizes that Neil is a disaster with an electric lighter after he almost burns down their kitchen twice, Andrew begins cooking for him on the regular. Neil always ends up staring at him while he cooks, and Andrew pretends like it doesn’t affect him, like it doesn’t make him hyperaware of his every move. Bee suggests new recipes to him every weekend, and Andrew begins to cook so surprisingly often that Neil would never dare say it aloud, but he swears that Andrew might actually be enjoying it.
  • Neil gives Andrew a shoulder massage on the really bad days and distracts his mind with talks of the latest additions to the Fox lineup and how he thinks they need to up their game if they want to succeed. This is new. This feels new. Andrew is not used to this sort of thing and has trouble at first, tensing up against Neil’s touch almost immediately, and so Neil knows to be extra careful. This is alien territory for both of them because Neil has never known how to be gentle and Andrew has never known gentleness, but it turns out that Neil’s really good with his hands. Eventually, Andrew leans his head back against Neil’s stomach as he kneads the tension out of his muscles and just lets go. It’s difficult at first, because the last time Andrew allowed himself to be this defenseless, this bodily loose and relaxed… No. This was different. This was Neil. Neil would cross himself out a thousand times over at even the mere idea of hurting him. He was okay. He was… He was safe. After giving him a massage, Neil leans in to kiss Andrew’s neck, but before he has the chance, Andrew’s already flipped him over and straddling him, “Yes or no?” he mumbles gruffly, but Neil’s already choking out a hoarse, breathless fuck yes as Andrew runs his hands up his arms and entwines their fingers before entrapping him under his body with a vehement, sealing kiss that leaves them both gasping for breath.
  • Andrew falling ill with the flu and insisting that he doesn’t get sick, even as he’s coughing up his lungs and running a high fever. Neil doesn’t buy into his bullshit for one second and insists on dragging him to the doctor’s office. That’s when Andrew quietly admits his loathing of doctors, stemming from a general distrust of society and never having been to one before. Whenever he got sick before, he would just take care of it on his own. And then he had Abby. Neil insists that despite Abby’s qualifications, Andrew needed to go see a real doctor. Neil successfully wears him down and they end up visiting the doctor together. In the waiting room, Andrew is crushing Neil’s hand so tight Neil knows it’s going to leave a bruise. Neil doesn’t care. He managed to convince Andrew to make the trip. That’s all that matters.
  • Whenever the Foxes come to visit them, Andrew cleans out the entire house. Makes sure every surface is scrubbed and not a thing is out of place. He makes them all take their shoes off at the doorstep and warns Nicky he’ll make him bleed if he hoists his legs up on the recently polished coffee table.
  • Andrew and Neil working out together, and Neil once again, being flabbergasted by just how much weight this boy can lift. It feels like some strange metaphor for all of Neil’s baggage he took at face value and handled like a rock. “You’re staring again,” Andrew points out, sitting there in a muscle t-shirt, his skin slick with sweat, his blond tufts pulled back by a thin black bandana, performing a 180kg deadlift like it’s practically nothing. “Yeah,” Neil manages. “Get used to it already.”
  • The two of them getting away for the weekend from everyone and everything. Driving, driving, halting at terribly lit gas stations in the middle of nowhere to buy cigarettes and soda, star-gazing on the roof of the Maserati, Andrew knowing every constellation by heart, Neil gaping at him in quiet, captivated awe. The two of them falling asleep in dingy motel rooms after making messy love. The comfort in the little things and just purely enjoying one another’s existence, one another’s presence. Neil’s head on Andrew’s shoulder, Andrew pressing a kiss to the pulse point of Neil’s throat, Neil fiddling with Andrew’s hair, Andrew shivering when Neil bites promises into his neck, Andrew’s hands underneath Neil’s shirt, killing his scars with his kisses.
  • Listen I could go on forever but I need to STOP.

alright but i can’t stop thinking about this… andrew and neil had never have pets. in their life. and they get cats of all animals:

  • Neil would do his best on researching about them whenever he doesn’t know why they behave a certain way, but still he’ll never understand his cats’ behaviour so he kind of rolls with it.
It’s different with andrew, because he still isn’t used to them and they’re an inconvenience he can’t get rid of
  • the first time they hear one of their cats purr is an experience they’ll never forget:
  • Neil: Andrew…. come listen to this
    Andrew: ….. it’s vibrating.
  • just when andrew DECIDED to give Sir a scratch, the cat bites his finger. not roughly, just a sign that means “leave me alone for now” but andrew just thinks the cat doesn’t like him and tells neil he doesn’t like the cat either and he’ll never bother again
  • but later he tries again, luckily when Sir is in a good mood and he is pleased to hear him purr. Neil too.
  • the cats always get in Neil’s way when he goes to feed them, and they’ve made him trip hundreds of times. He’s stepped on their tails too, on accident, and andrew had to come to tell him the cats were just fine before he panicked.
  • neil loves playing with the cats. he has scratches all over his fingers and hands because he plays hiding his hands behind the couch or chairs, and the cats attack them when he wiggles his fingers
  • whenever andrew walks into the kitchen the cats follow him because they think he’ll feed them. they meow loudly and purr, with their tails up and scratch the counter where Neil keeps their food. Andrew just stares at them as he slowly pours himself coffee.
  • BATHING THEM. it’s also neil’s job, but andrew helps whenever he feels like it.
  • The first time they bathe them, they discover that Sir is not that fat, he just has a Lot of hair. and also, that King Fluffkins loves water.
Andrew takes pictures of Sir’s wet figure as the animal stares right into the camera with an expression that clearly says “help”
  • CAT HAIR, rip andrew’s all black wardrobe
  • they had learned to keep their wardrobe CLOSED SHUT the hard way,   because they had woken up to the cats sleeping in there, over their clothes.
  • andrew can’t go to the bathroom without Fluffkins sticking his paw under the door, and he finds annoying the first times, but then he grows used to it and would poke it and snort when Fluffkins’ claws poke him back.
  • andrew finds all the shit cats do amusing: Like jumping 6 feet high when they get scared, running non-stop around the house and crawling on furniture with a stunned look on their face, the way their pupils dilate and the little wiggle they do when they’re about to jump on neil’s fingers, or when they climb up the courtains
  • neil can’t be one minute sitting with his laptop that one of the cats HAS to walk over him and sit over his computer
  • andrew:

no matter how long i’ve been playing or how high level i am or how rad my gear or how many healing potions i made in advance, it always comes down to frantically shoving apples into my gaping maw mid-battle

anonymous asked:

do you think andrew and neil tell each other "i love you"? nora said no but ,,

i disagree with a lot of things nora said and this is one of them.

  • it’s not easy because those are big words and both neil and andrew have troubles with expressing emotions,
  • usually they prefer to show their feelings by simple gestures: an extra blanket during movie nights, a glass of water on the nightstand when andrew drank a little too much in columbia the previous night, always lightning two cigarettes instead of one, leaving fresh clothes and a towel (the fluffy one because andrew would never say it, but neil knows it’s his favorite) in the bathroom when andrew had a rough night and doesn’t want to be touched right now, etc.
  • the first time neil tried to say those words, it was when he got knocked on the court and it was bad enough he needed to go to the hospital
  • and while the anesthesia was working miracles, neil looked at andrew and started to say “i lov-”
  • but andrew looked at him with those angry eyes that immediately shut neil up, “don’t bullshit me like you’re going to die” because fuck is neil dramatic
  • “but you know that i do, right?”
  • “just how hard you got hit in your head?”
  • when the words are finally out, it’s andrew who says it first
  • it’s an accident, of course, because andrew understood long ago that when you trust someone this much and they’re always somewhere around even if only in the back of your mind, it’s easier to speak your thoughts out loud without even realizing it
  • and of fucking course it’s because of a damn cat because lately everything happened because of a damn cat ( “andrew, he’s not damned, he’s your child” “shut the fuck up nicky” )
  • it’s a normal movie night while they’re watching one of the movies from a list that nicky and matt made for neil since in their opinion his knowledge of the pop culture was terrible (neil still remembered how scandalized nicky was when neil didn’t know what you should do “if you like it” put a damn ring on it, neil)
  • they’re not cuddling because it’s hot and they rarely do it anyway unless they’re too tired after practice to even care but they’re sitting close enough that their shoulders are touching
  • but then the cat, this damn cat, jumps on the couch next to neil. it’s fine, it’s normal. king lives up to his name and thinks he owns the place, so it’s good
  • few minutes later andrew feels a pressure and from the corner of his eye he sees that neil scoots closer to him. andrew doesn’t mind, neil respects his boundaries enough to know what andrew is or isn’t comfortable with
  • he doesn’t mind until neil is draped over his lap with a dramatic sigh and okay, he knew he signed up for a drama queen (surprisingly enough kevin isn’t the only one and andrew doesn’t fucking know how can they fit on one throne together but this is his fucking reality) but this is pushing it
  • andrew: what. the. fuck.
  • neil: oh, were you here the whole time? didn’t notice, you’re so sma-
  • andrew: tch, tch. think about what you’re doing right now
  • neil smiles but doesn’t explain. when andrew looks at the couch next to him, king is laying on the better half of it, stretching his back and why is andrew even surprised? of course neil would rather lie on top of andrew than push the damn cat off the couch
  • “you’re fucking lucky i love you” is all andrew says, it sounds angry and impatient, but it’s enough to make both of them freeze. when neil wants to look up, andrew wraps one arm around him and pushes him down to his chest. “don’t”
  • “but you know that i do too, right?” “watch your damn movie”
  • neil says it two days after, again because of the damn cat (but by now andrew thinks that maybe king really isn’t damned after all). andrew’s sitting on the same couch one morning, he’s sideways so he’s facing king who stares back at him. andrew is talking so he doesn’t hear when neil comes to the living room and stands behind andrew.
  • “devil incarnate, what you staring at? get away from my leg, god you’re so fucking stupid, what is that? are you purring at me? you know what i’m gonna do-” andrew says all of this with the most monotone voice while holding a cup of coffee in his hands and a cat snuggling to his leg
  • and neil knows he shouldn’t, because andrew doesn’t respond well to confessions but he just can’t stop the words that come out of his mouth. “shit, i really do love you” and it’s out there and andrew’s back stiffens and he doesn’t turn around but neil feels so good
  • something hits andrew right this moment, in their apartment, with their cat nuzzling against his knee, holding an ugly cup that neil bought for him last christmas.
  • those words… they feel… they feel nice.
  • they feel like home
  • so from now on neil might say them more often and andrew isn’t there yet but every time he hears it, he says “i do too” or whenever neil leaves, andrew asks “you know that i do, right?” and neil smiles at him because he knows, he always knew
  • and andrew has the damn cat to thank for all of this
  • but he won’t thank the damn cat because what the fuck and also he’s a little shit
  • let me die now
