The next morning it was difficult deciding on what to wear, I didn’t want to over dress, but I didn’t want to underdress, but quite frankly…I had no idea what Taekwoon and I would be doing so that didn’t help the situation. In the end I chose a nice pair of black jeans, a nice sweater, and some hightops. Casual but at the same I still looked night for a cool spring day.

summary: you are just an ordinary neighbor in an ordinary neighborhood, but when you hear muffled gunshots from your neighbor? it concerned you, so you called the police like any normal person would.. right?

You slung your bag to the floor as you slammed the door shut. You got back home from your work. It was pretty stressful today so all you wanted to do was to jump into bed and sleep. You didn’t have work tomorrow, you worked 4 days a week which was a plus but the hours were horrible. You slipped off your shoes and bolted up the stairs. Your bed has never looked so warm and inviting. So, you quickly jumped into bed as you sighed feeling the mattress support your weight. You melted into the bed slipping the covers up.

Nothing could disturb this night’s sleep, right?

The first time Annabeth Chase meets Percy Jackson is much more anticlimactic than she imagined.

It’s not that Annabeth spent a lot of time actively thinking about someone she’s never met, but being a student at Pine Senior High School means that an active education in the ongoings of Percy Jackson’s life is inevitable. Annabeth is aware that something similar happens on the other side of town, with her name instead. That’s the nature of the rivalry between the only two high schools in Olympus; every sports team and club is pitted against their sister school of Jupiter. Akin to the rivalry between Poseidon and Athena, this one between the Spartans and Gladiators was born of hormonal adolescent egos and mutual loathing.

Annabeth has experienced being caught in the crosshairs of the ill-fated rivalry more times than she can count. Being one of Pine’s star athletes guarantees that her high school uses her as ammunition and bragging grounds every chance she gets. While she has as much- if not more- school spirit as the next girl, she has no desire to participate in the cutthroat barbs and practical jokes that the majority of the student body takes so much joy in. She makes it a point to attend all major school meets and games against Jupiter, if not for her interest in the sports themselves then for her fascination of how the rivalry makes her already arrogant and hypermasculine peers even more conceited and stupid. It’s at these basketball games, swim meets, and track meets that she glimpses him at first. She always sits at the very top of the bleachers with Reyna (except during track season where she has her own events to worry about, thank you very much) so that they can make fun of all of the posturing and go over schoolwork together.  Annabeth can admit that he’s an incredible athlete; right up there with people like Frank Zhang and Jason Grace. She knows that he’s the only junior in Olympus that has a faster mile than her, but she’s never had a desire to seek him out after a track meet or her occasional volleyball games she spots him at. They simply existed on different worlds.

It sometimes seems like both of them were riding different trains on parallel tracks- fated to glimpse the other occasionally, but never to meet. That’s partially why she is so surprised when she spots him at Chiron’s Stop and Shop- very much on the Pine section of town. Chiron’s has always been one of her favorite places. It’s owner was an old family friend who taught her how to deal with her dyslexia when she was younger. He’s always been a mentor and father figure to her, and she picks up shifts at the store on weekends. It’s not that people from Jupiter aren’t allowed on this side of town, but they aren’t exactly expected. Percy Jackson with his shock of black hair and sea green eyes is utterly recognizable- not to mention that he’s wearing a purple hoodie with the words JHS Gladiators emblazoned on the front. It’s like painting a target on your back while simultaneously walking into a war zone. She considers walking away, but he spots her first.

“Hey! You’re Annabeth, right?” he calls out just as she was about to begin her retreat. “You do soccer and track and stuff at Pine.” The way he’s rocking back and forth on his heels reminds her entirely of Leo, and she wonders if he had ADHD too. It’s certainly a big part of why Annabeth’s so involved in sports- it’s nearly impossible to get rid of the restlessness she always feels. She’s suddenly aware of the fact that she hasn’t brushed her hair all day, or bothered to conceal the circles under her eyes

“Soccer and track and stuff. That’s me.” she answers “and you’re Jupiter’s swimming god.” He’s a couple inches taller than her, and even more tan, like he spent all his free time at a beach instead of a tiny town in Virginia.

“So that’s what they call me on this side of the creek, huh?” he questions. “You know, people say that you’re the best forward that the town has seen in years.”

“So what, pray tell, is one of Westbury’s revered athletes doing on this side of town?” Annabeth prods “You know, if any other student had noticed you you’d have been immediately sentenced to death by overzealous high schoolers.”

Percy lets loose a quiet laugh at this, and she can’t help the sliver of satisfaction that snakes through her body. He looks oddly embarrassed, and the sheer normalcy of his accompanying flush goes against all her prior expectations of this boy. She takes in the way he bites down on his lip as he unfurls his right wrist to reveal a small cellophane package filled with… dolphins?

“You… risked your well being in order to buy candy dolphins?” Annabeth can’t help the astonishment in her voice. Percy looks deeply offended

“They’re gummy sharks.” He protested “and they’re my lifeblood. Seriously, Annabeth, gummy sharks are the food of the gods.” he continues, “my cousin, Nico is supposed to supply me with them, since this is the only place in town which sells them, but he’s on some stupid date which means I have to do everything myself as per usual.”

By the time he’s finished with his tirade, his eyebrows are knitted together in concentration and his hands are still moving to finish his latest dramatic gesture.

“Nico Di Angelo?” she questions “He’s your cousin?” Thanks to her longstanding friendship with Will, Annabeth cannot go 24 hours without hearing him ramble on and on about the gorgeous brunette with the gorgeous dark eyes that- oh god annabeth they make me want to melt he’s so out of my league. It took Will an entire semester of pining from a distance before he finally made a move and Annabeth has spent the entirety of the last two weeks helping Will plan an overly complex date meant to woo his pants off, in his own words.

“You know him?” Percy questions

“Indirectly. My friend Will has spent so much time talking about his enormous crush that I probably know more about your cousin than I do myself. Will’s probably setting off heart shaped fireworks as we speak.”

“Ah. So he’s the blond haired casanova that Nico hasn’t been able to shut up about for the past few months. It’s gotten quite concerning, really.”

Their conversation continues and she finds herself enjoying his personality more than she’s willing to admit. She tells him about her visions of becoming an architect, her soccer team, her qualms and praises of the most recent star wars installment… and before she knows it, her phone chimes with a text from Piper asking why in the name of all that is holy, has it taken her over two hours to buy a jar of salsa. She quickly excuses herself from the conversation, and grabs a couple extra jars of queso just to appease Piper.

She mulls over the conversation as she make her way around the block to Piper’s house. It’s odd, how instantly comfortable she was with him. It took her weeks before she had felt that close to any of her other friends. It’s not until she is comfortably nestled between Piper and Reyna, deep into the Goblet of Fire, that she notices the small pale yellow post it on the side of the salsa jar. Scrawled (almost illegibly, she notes) are 10 digits, signed PJ. Piper instantly leans over and lets out a low whistle, her chestnut colored braids brushing Annabeth’s face.

“Damn, Chase has game!” Annabeth squints at her and swats at her hair. This catches Reyna’s interest and she turns away from the screen.

“Who’s PJ?” she asks as she shoots her a smirk. She knows that they’re trying to be nonchalant about it, but the glimmer in Piper’s eyes tells her otherwise. She hasn’t done anything remotely romantic since her historic crush on Luke in middle school which resulted in one date freshmen year before he moved away. Piper has been begging her to go on a date ever since.

“Percy Jackson.” She mutters, making sure to fixate her eyes on Victor Krum. The effect of her words is no less than she predicted. Piper squeals and drops her Tostitos and Reyna raises both eyebrows, instead of just one.

“Like, Jupiter’s Percy Jackson? Thalia’s cousin? If so, congratulations- he’s like seven different levels of fine.” Piper proclaims  “I prefer blonds, though.” Reyna glances back at the number and frowns.

“I hate people from Jupiter. They’re like mini-Kardashians. No offense Piper.” Piper tugs thoughtfully at her braid. It was true that students that went to Jupiter were generally more wealthy than the ones at Pine with the exception of the Mcleans, but it didn’t seem like Percy was airheaded or conceited.

“So! Are you going to- CEDRIC NO!” Piper shrieks and covers her eyes with her hands. Annabeth mentally thanks Voldemort for the distraction as Reyna shoots her a meaningful look. She glances back down at the post-it note in her hand and smiles, thinking about what Piper was about to ask. Maybe she would.

AN: so this is the first thing I’ve written ever?? and I threw it together pretty quickly and I would beyond grateful for any criticism and ideas and hopefully I’ll be able to build on this and improve it to a point where it’ll be acceptable. I’m serious. I will personally buy you the moon if you give me writing advice go ahead and PLEASE tear this apart.

TMNT Bodyguard!AU

Leonardo/Part One.

It had been all over the news.
A powerful politician’s daughter being stalked by some freak, a stalker lurking in the shadows. Letters full of accusations and threats, packages with rotting meat and pictures of her, soaked in blood.
An investigation had started but still, no leads or clues to this person’s identity or whereabouts. Just more threats.
It’s not too surprising that a politician had made an enemy but to target the girl? A little too far on the crazy meter. So Leo wasn’t shocked when he received a request of protection for Y/N L/N. Senator L/N didn’t care which brother came to do the job or how much he had to pay for it (and he was willing to pay quite a fair sum at that).
He just wanted her safe. So Leo, feeling a little cooped up at hime, accepted and packed his bags. His best men came along with him and they all piled into the company jet as Leo went over the case.
He studied the letters and packages, memorizing handwriting, and read about the family. The Senator was charming, wealthy, the patriarch of the perfect family.
The daughter…not much was known about her, besides what her father had told them.
“She’s just a college student. She reads, she studies…she isn’t a bad person or anything. I try to keep them out of my career, I don’t know why-”
“The why doesn’t matter. I’ll take care of her, sir.”
Leonardo studied her picture, a photo of her standing next to her parents. She was pretty, he thought, with bright eyes and full lips.
He shook his head, telling himself to snap out of it. “Pretty” didn’t matter. Safety was what was important. Still…
The jet landed and, just like he had ordered, two large black vans were waiting for them. Through the tinted windows, he could see only one figure. It didn’t take long for them to pile into the vehicles, and Leo finally met Y/N in person. The photos didn’t do her justice, she really was beautiful, and he felt his breath hitch in his throat. She looked away from the book on her lap and he covered it with a cough.
“Y/N?”
“That’s right. I’m guessing you’re my bodyguard?” her voice was soft, melodic even.
Leo nodded and took the seat across from her. She looked him over, but he was used to this. He was, after all, a giant turtle. It was bound to get him a few looks. But she didn’t say anything. She just looked back at her book, though her eyes didn’t move.
She wasn’t reading.
“Are you okay?”
He really didn’t need a hysterical case on his hands.
“I’m fine, actually. Just thinking.” she replied.
“It’s perfectly fine to be concerned. But I can assure you that nothing will happen.”
“Oh, I know that. After all, if I was a stalker and I saw my victim hanging out with a giant turtle…I’d turn around and go home.”
Leo laughed a little, then suddenly stopped. When was the last time he’d laughed with his mission?
Y/N smiled and returned to her book, leaving Leo to simply look at her. Something about her was…different. It was her body language, the way she spoke to him. It was the way he wanted her to keep talking, just to hear her voice.
His walkie suddenly came to life, snapping him out of his daze.
“Blue Leader, we are good to go here. Is everything okay on your end?” his second in command chattered.
“Songbird is safe,” he replied. “We can move out of here.”
The van started and shook a little as they made their way to the designated safe house. And Leonardo couldn’t help but think that this mission was going to be a little bit different.

Leonard Snart- Not today

AN/ I love Wentworth Miller, cause he is an inspiration. And did you know, that he is a great singer? Why can’t he be in the Flash musical then?!

Masterlist

I don’t get it. Why does he always stand like that? Hip out, while leaning against a table. His hand hovering over his gun. Just… So sassy.

Leonard looked at me, his small crooked smile always making my heart melt. Head tilted. His soft, but long blink always making me question what he’s thinking.

“What do you say about a date night?” I close the book I was ‘reading’, and raised a brow,

“What kind of date night? Like, a job type date? Or a date, date?” He looked back down to the blueprints he had sprawled over his ‘job’ table. He stands up straight, and walks over to me, plopping on the couch by my feet. His head rolled to my book, and he snatched it out of my hands, inspecting it.

“Job. But next week, we can go to any restaurant you’d like.” My fingers went to my chin, in a thinking position.

“Any restaurant?” He nods once, “Even the super fancy italian restaurant that you hate?” He rolls his eyes,

“The waiters are handsy. But yes.” I click my tongue. He’s really trying to win me over. What the hell is this job, anyway. It must involve something that I will be against.

“That sounds like an amazing offer. But it all depends on why you’re buttering me up.” He tosses my book on the coffee table, while pushing against my legs to help him get up. He doesn’t say anything till he gets to the crate that arrived earlier. I know it was Lisa who dropped it off, because there was playful banter when I woke up. And there is a giant gold bow on it, but that could have been there without her dropping it off.

Len pulled the top board off, then pulls out a suit bag. He unzips it, revealing a dress.

“I need a date to the banquet.” I sigh, and throw my head against the back of the couch. I will do almost anything for Leonard, but wearing a very elegant dress to a job isn’t one of them.

My role in our crime relationship is the non violent part. I don’t really get my hands dirty. Sure, I’ll go into the field, but I’m not one to do the breaking. I am the one who gets us places, hacks into systems, and also watch as Leo does the fighting. And a lot of the time, I’m the getaway driver, as well.

I follow his command, then we come home, and I am his girlfriend. It’s the best that both of those worlds could get, and it’s all because I have leonard in both of them.

I get up, and walk over to him, grabbing his face, and bring mine to his. Or lips connecting, but I break it off before anything could get farther.

“The italian place it is.” Snart smirks, but it soon becomes a genuine smile.

We walk into the banquet hall. Rich, elderly folks walk, talk, and dance all around us. I look to my date, you had dressed to the nines. A black suit, and dark blue tie to match my dress. It’s form fitting on the top, but is flowing on the bottom for easy movement incase we need to run. Black lace works intricately down the whole profile of the dress, and never letting up, so every inch is covered in blue and black.

He grabs my hand, and pulls me to the dance floor. We dance like two pieces that just came together. Both of us fitting the other just perfectly. That is until he broke off to dance with our target.

Madame Rouge.

I walk to the back of the hall, pulling out out my tracer. I had fiddled with it, taking off the casing, and replacing it, to make it look like a portable makeup mirror. I grabbed my lipstick, so I have a reason to have the mirror. The closer I am to the main system of the mansion, the greener the light on the tracker is. I walk until It’s flashing green. Target acquired. I walk into Madame Rouge’s room, and walk to her closet.

Madame Rouge has a boatload of cash in secret accounts. But I need to trace them from her stationary to gain access, and snag the pass codes. So while I’m doing this, Leonard is distracting the lady of the hour. It’s her birthday today, so him trying to flirt and dance with her won’t be too weird. Everything should be going smooth.

I walk into the closet, pulling down the last hanger to my left, activating the secret panel to move, and give me access. I walk up to her mean set up. I hate her. She’s an ass who takes money from the poor so she can test makeup products on animals. But damn, her computer setup is nice. About six monitors stare back at me, and I get to work on the two in front of me. I pop in a hard drive, so I can access her files later, just in case anything happens. I find the account holders and passcodes. I look to my left to find her personal laptop. That might come in handy later, so I’m taking it.

I reach out for it, when I hear a gunshot. I look to my right to see a guest shot, four body guards pointing guns at leonard, and him holding his hands up.

What the hell?!

I run to that monitor, and hack into the bodyguards earpiece,

“-Kay. He is  a level ten threat, so keep a look out for anyone else that looks like they work with him. We shot his girlfriend, so that is secure. I have called the authorities. Start pointing people out that he’s dance with and open fir-”

Oh shit.

I grab the laptop and flash drive, and sprint down the hall, stopping when I’m on the balcony. Three more guests shot.

Aren’t they supposed to keep people safe?!

I grab my lipstick out of my bag, pull the bottom off, and throw it into the crowd. Smoke goes everywhere, and more shots are heard. Luckily the coats are up here, so they are out of the guests way. I run into the closet, rushing to find ours.

I grab Len’s coat, pulling out the cold gun.  I rush to the stairs, and sit on the railing, sliding down. The smoke is somewhat clear, and I see two of The guards. I shoot both of them, making ice spears appear in their chests. I spot Leonard on the ground and rush to him.

He’s been shot. I push on his lower abdomen, where the blood is coming from. His piercing blue eyes looking to me.

“Get out of here (YN). Go!” He tries to push me, but I kiss him. The smoke clears up a little more, and I see another guard coming towards us. I pick the gun back up and shoot him. His head freezes, and he falls backwards. The fall shattering his head into thousands of tiny pieces. I look back to Snart. He puts his hand on my cheek, with a proud smile. And so see that beautiful smile puts me into freak out mode. Tears start falling, and I can’t really see him anymore. I try and will my tears away. If this is the last time I’ll hear his smooth voice, see those oft but deliberate blinks, or sly smile, I want to actually see it.

“Everybody dies.”

This makes me cry more. He isn’t the most loving or gentle, but he is the strongest, hearty man I’ve ever known.

I shake my head, and see my key chain sticking out of my purse. An idea!

“Not today, baby. I’ll get you out of this!” I pull it out, revealing my powerful laser pointer, and grab the pistol from the nearby guard. I fire the entire round into the air, and rip open his shirt.

“needy are we?” I laugh, but tears are still falling, making it sound more like choking. His hand comes back to my face, brushing away tears.

“Okay hun, this will be painful. I need you to stay awake and no-”

“I’ve been shot before-”

“But not to the brink of death!” I yell. I have never yelled at him before, but now isn’t the time to be technical.

I point the laser at the already read hot barrel. It actually turns red and is hot enough for what I need to do do.

“I love you.”

“What the hell?  This is hard for me to do as it is! Just… Ugh! Keep your eyes open, and know that I love you too.” I quickly press the barrel to his wound, but pull it away just as fast, successfully cauterizing the wound.

“I would like spaghetti please and thank you.” I hand the menu to the waiter without looking at him. I look to Leonard, who had already been looking to me. He hasn’t been able to keep his eyes off me since our last job. Not that I’m complaining, of course. I smile and chuckle, “What?”

“Nothing.” I roll my eyes and smirk,

“Is there something you need to say?”

“Nope.”

“Then what is it?!” He smiles, then looks down. His hand resting under his chin reached out to mine, and I squeeze it.

“I’ve been thinking.”

“About?”

“Us.”

“Oh. Is that a good thinking? A bad thinking? A ‘Mick’ thinking?” At that he rolled his eyes, but looks back up at me.

“I don’t like putting you in danger, bu-” I pull my hand out of his, and throw it in the air,

“What? You were the one who was shot!’ I put my hand on the table, and he grabs it again.

“I don’t like putting you in danger, but I think you should also change your last name to mine.” I stare at his smirk, still caught up on the danger thing. The waiter brought out the food, and then it hits me.

“Wait, did you just ask me to marry you, because, yes.”

Theory Time!!

Sooooo I caught sight of these screenshots from RoE’s Finale on Facebook. (You see this if Leo takes the MC to the Scottish castle for their honeymoon)

On the outset, this looked more like a historical parallel of Leo’s own story. A royal in love, a couple meant for each other, ready to fight their laws and land and people to love one another. It made sense that we’d get a last nod to Leo’s royal origins, while learning more about Cordonia’s history.

But as with anything related to TRR or Cordonia, nothing is ever that simple 😂

The first time Annabeth Chase meets Percy Jackson is much more anticlimactic than she imagined.

It’s not that Annabeth spends a lot of time actively thinking about someone she’s never met, but being a student at Pantheon Senior High School means that an active education in the ongoings of people like Percy Jackson’s life is inevitable. That’s mostly due to the nature of the rivalry between their high school and his.

Olympus is a relatively small town in Virginia, surrounded only by rolling hills that are dotted by small farms and fields. The lack of interesting things to do results in all of the annoying teenagers at her school to fixate on outdoing the students of the only other high school in town. Whether it’s academics, athletics, or school spirit, both schools compete with impossible rigor. Akin to the rivalry between Poseidon and Athena, this one between the Spartans and Gladiators was born of hormonal adolescent egos and mutual loathing.

Legion High School lies on the west side of town, across the Tiber Creek. The students there are generally more wealthy than the ones at Pantheon which only contributes to the unrest. She makes it a point to attend all major school meets and games against Legion, if not for her interest in the sports themselves then for her fascination of how the rivalry makes her already arrogant and hypermasculine peers even more conceited and stupid.

Her heavy involvement in soccer and track may draw attention, but both schools place a much greater emphasis on basketball and swimming where Percy shines. It’s at these basketball games and swim meets that she glimpses him at first. She always sits at the very top of the bleachers with Reyna so they can make fun of the athletes on both sides and review their schoolwork. Even if she didn’t have to hear the accompanying booing from her side of the gym every time he steps out onto the court or up to the pool, she can begrudgingly admit that he is an incredible athlete. She’s never held a conversation with him, but his jet black hair and deeply tanned skin always stands out.

Although she doesn’t hate him the way most students do, she maintains a constant state of irritation towards all things Legion related. The way their town is split down the middle based on something as trivial as high school sports is remnant of something out of a medieval storybook written by children. Even the adults tend to promote the rivalry, like steadfastly watching a bunch of teens duke it out over volleyball and math competitions with save them from their boring lives.

She makes it barely 10 minutes into the school day before she hears someone mention Percy Jackson. She’s at her locker, in the midst of shoving her books in her locker (it’s way too far into the semester for her to still organize her stuff) when one of the designated douchey jocks starts loudly ranting about the previous night’s basketball events. Apparently, there was a scrimmage and “that a-hole jackson kid” managed to pull the score into a tie during the last minute. The buzz continues throughout her school day, and even her normally sensible friends think that it’s fascinating how much Legion’s subpar team has improved.

A couple hours later, Annabeth is making a pit stop at her neighborhood’s Stop and Shop on the way to movie night at Piper’s house. She relaxes at the familiar clattering of wind chimes as she yanks open the door, and mutters a quick greeting to Chiron, the owner. Chiron’s has always been one of her favorite places in town. It’s owner is an old family friend who taught her how to deal with her dyslexia when she was younger. He’s always been a mentor and father figure to her, and she picks up shifts at the store on weekends.

The store itself has this soothing atmosphere that never fails her. The floorboards creak when she steps across them, and the Frank Sinatra poster that’s tacked to the wall by the door is on the verge of falling off but somehow the building still exudes comfort. She knows every inch of it from elementary school days spent curled up in the big vintage armchair in the corner so she could escape her parent’s fighting.

That’s partially why seeing Percy Jackson in the snacks aisle is so surprising. It’s not that people from Legion aren’t allowed on this side of town, but they aren’t exactly expected.

“You do soccer and track and stuff at Pantheon.” his eyes reflect the light of the fairy lights Annabeth draped all over the fixtures in the ceiling during her interior design phase in seventh grade. The way he’s rocking back and forth on his heels reminds her entirely of Leo, and she wonders if he had ADHD too. It’s certainly a big part of why Annabeth’s so involved in sports- it’s nearly impossible to get rid of the restlessness she always feels. She’s suddenly aware of the fact that she hasn’t brushed her hair all day, or bothered to conceal the circles under her eyes. She shifts her weight onto her left foot and tries to suppress her nerves.

“Soccer and track and stuff. That’s me.” she answers honestly  “and you’re Legion’s swimming god.” He’s a couple inches taller than her, and even more tan, like he spent all his free time at a beach instead of a tiny town in Virginia. His cheeks take on a rosy pink color and he lifts his shoulders in an awkward half shrug.

“So that’s what they call me on this side of the creek, huh?” he questions. “You know, people say that you’re the best forward that the town has seen in years.” Usually when people bring up her soccer position their tones are mocking in a oh congrats, female sort of way. But Percy’s tone is earnest and completely at odds with what most of his teammates have thrown at her.

“Uh- I’m okay.” she manages “soccer’s definitely not nearly as interesting as your whole basketball thing.”

Percy looks deeply offended, and his eyes shine with mirth.

“They’re gummy sharks.” He protested “and they’re my lifeblood. Seriously, Annabeth Chase, gummy sharks are the food of the gods.” he continues, “my cousin, Nico is supposed to supply me with them, since this is the only place in town which sells them, but he’s on some stupid date which means I have to do everything myself as per usual.”

“It’s ridiculous.” Annabeth declares “They should just get on with it and adopt their seven kids and three cats.”

Percy proceeds to wrinkle his nose (and yes, it’s adorable) and tell her about how the children would be named after Pokemon and the cats after Yugi Oh! characters. She notices.. a lot of things. His eyebrows furrow when he’s passionate about something, and he blushes more easily than anyone she’s ever met. Their conversation continues and she finds herself enjoying his personality more than she’s willing to admit. She tells him about her visions of becoming an architect, her soccer team, her qualms and praises of the most recent star wars installment… and before she knows it, her phone chimes.

“Um. Sorry.” she glances down at her screen. It’s a text from Piper asking why in the name of all that is holy it has taken her over two hours to buy a jar of salsa. “Yeah that’s my friend who will burn me at the stake if I don’t get to movie night with food. I should run.” Percy looks disappointed but offers her a shy smile.

“That’s cool. I should probably head back home.” he waves his packet of gummy sharks at her “hopefully I’ll see you around?” She tucks one of her curls behind her ear and glances up at him

“Yeah. I’d like that.” Percy grins at her before he exits the shop and she grabs a couple extra jars of queso just to appease Piper.

She mulls over the conversation as she jogs her way around the block to Piper’s house. It’s odd, how instantly comfortable she was with him. It took her weeks before she had felt that close to any of her other friends. Her stomach is churning with a weird fluttery feeling and the crisp nighttime air isn’t doing much to clear her mind. She takes her time walking up the steps to Piper’s giant house. With the amount of money Tristan Mclean makes, they definitely should live on the west side of town but something about real estate and contracts made them choose this neighborhood. Piper throws the door open and rushes at Annabeth just a few moments after she rings the doorbell. She’s wearing a pride shirt and shorts with multi colored palm trees on them which make Annabeth’s heart clench with the faintest bit of pride.

“Annabeth!” she cries “I’m starving. And I’ll murder you if you didn’t bring nachos.” Annabeth takes this as her cue to walk in and settle next to Reyna on the couch. They’re watching the Goblet of Fire (as all the cool teens do on their Friday nights). Reyna squints her eyes at her as a greeting, which Annabeth returns with a one shouldered shrug. The couch groans as Piper flops onto the cushion next to Annabeth and she throws her legs into Annabeth’s lap. Piper is rustling through Annabeth’s bag of snacks when she lets out a low whistle. They both look over at her in surprise as she leans over and brushes Annabeth’s face with her braids.

“Damn, Chase has game!” Annabeth squints at her and swats at her hair. This catches Reyna’s interest and she turns away from the screen. Annabeth sighs

“What are you talking about?” she asks. Piper passes over the jar of salsa and is practically trembling with delight as she points out a pale yellow sticky note attached to the side. Scrawled (almost illegibly, she notes) are 10 digits, signed PJ complete with a smiley face. Reyna scans the note as she leans over.

Piper has been begging her to go on a date ever since, and Reyna is convinced that she’s aromantic just like her. It’s not that Annabeth is opposed to dating, or even that she hasn’t been attracted to her fair share of guys. It’s just that any feelings she’s had have been shallow and inconsequential; nothing she could possibly build a relationship out of. This thing with Percy is tentative and she has no idea what it holds, but deep down she knows that he’d make an amazing friend and that’s important to her.

“Percy Jackson.” She mutters, making sure to fixate her eyes on Victor Krum. The effect of her words is no less than she predicted. Piper squeals and drops her Tostitos and Reyna raises both eyebrows, instead of just one.

“Like, Legion’s Percy Jackson? Thalia’s cousin? If so, congratulations- he’s like seven different levels of fine.” Piper proclaims  “not exactly my type, though.” Reyna glances back at the number and frowns.

“Aren’t people from that side of town generally elitist assholes?” Reyna asked “Also when did you get a chance to interact with him?” A wicked grin flashed across Piper’s face and she grasped Annabeth’s wrists.

“C’mon tell us about your crush.” Piper pleaded “It’ll be fun! Besides, are you going to ca- CEDRIC NO!” Piper shrieks and covers her eyes with her hands. Annabeth mentally thanks Voldemort for the distraction as Reyna shoots her a meaningful look. She glances back down at the post-it note in her hand and smiles, thinking about what Piper was about to ask. Maybe she would.

Request! 2003!Leonardo x Vigilante!Reader.

Something was happening.
Call it ninja sense, but Leonardo felt that something was about to go down. The air felt electric and it compelled the turtle towards the surface.
He listened.
He followed.
The city was dark and cold, rain soon began to fall followed by flashes of lightning. Maybe, he thought, he should turn back.
But after an hour of scouting the city, he found what he believed to be the cause: Foot Clan Ninja gathering outside a company’s building. Some kind of attack? A robbery? Leonardo began to draw his blades, just as a metal glint was thrown into the gathering, knocking something out of one of their hands.
Everyone, including the turtle, turned to see a figure standing on top the building, cloak dancing in the stormy wind. The lightning illuminated them for only a second before the lept into the fray. And Leonardo found himself staring in surprise as this figure began to take down the Foot Ninjas, as though they did it every day.
In flashes of lightning, he saw the fight.
He saw the ninjas fall to the ground like a house of cards as this cloaked figure stood over them. They bent down to pick something up, the device that they had knocked out of the ninjas hand.
And they pocketed it before turning away and vanishing into the darkness.
Leaving Leonardo in shock. Suddenly, his shell cell buzzed with a text from one of his brothers.
“Leo, get in here, something’s going on!”
The turtle turned away from the Wayne Industries sign, running back into the sewers.
He met his brothers in the Lair, asking them what was going on. Why did they sound so panicked.
“Master Splinter says that someone’s coming, here, now!” Donnie hissed.
“An attack?” Leonardo asked, thinking of the ninjas from earlier.
“No, someone he’s-”
Donatello stopped, looking at an alert on his cell. He looked shocked then angry.
“Someone just got through my security system.” he announced.
The door slammed open and in stepped a familiar figure. The one who had just taken out twenty ninjas. Now in the light, the turtles all got their first good look at her.
It was a her, a woman in a black suit and cape, dripping wet. Her face was covered by a black mask, leaving only red lips to be shown. But that wasn’t what grabbed their attention.
What did that, was the black utility belt settled on her hips. It was the pointed ear on top of her mask. It was the silver bat insignia on her chest.
Michelangelo recognized her instantly: Shadow Bat, one the members of Gotham’s vigilante group.
They stared. And then they began to draw their weapons, ready to leap at the intruder.
“Hold back, my sons.”
Master Splinter’s calm voice rang through the Lair and, to their surprise, he stepped towards the girl. They were even more shocked when she removed her mask and kneeled on the floor in front of the rat.
“It has been many years since I last saw you, Y/N. I’ve been told that you are a formidable ninja, quick and clever.”
“I’ve tried…Splinter. To make them proud.”
“I can assure you, they are. They have always been.”
The girl looked up at Master Splinter and he smiled softly.
“You have your father’s eyes.”
And that was the beginning of it all.
They learned of the girl’s story, of how she came to know Master Splinter…and Batman. They learned of her name and her mission and then, they began to train with her.
Thier father apparently had something to teach her, something only he knew about. A secret that would complete Y/N’s training. And as the weeks went by, Leonardo found himself…entranced by this girl.
By this vigilante.
She was cool and calculating, with a sarcastic sense of humor. But more then that, she was a ninja. A fierce one, a rival almost (2003!Leonardo likes girls that can beat him up, true story).
They spent hours training and sparring together (Mikey called it their mating dance, much to Leo’s annoyance), each one determined not to loose. Leonardo did, many times, but so did Y/N. Still, she always seemed to have the upper hand, to have a plan in mind. He loved it.
Leonardo didn’t care if he lost or if he won, he lived to fight. The excitement. The little quips and comments they would shoot at each other.
It was another training session, their blades crashing together in the Lair. Leonardo locked eyes with the girl and said,
“You’re reaction was a little slow. Feeling tired, Y/N?”
She smirked at the turtle.
“You would like that, wouldn’t you? Then maybe you might have a chance at winning.” She replied.
Her legs kicked his from under him but Leo retaliated by grabbing her own leg a pulling her down…right down on the floor. Y/N used this chance to kick his weapons away, putting her own his his neck.
“I win.” she said.
Leonardo wasn’t thinking about the fight.
He was thinking about her body pressed to his, about how close she was to him. Her hair was in her face and her eyes looked into his. She noticed too.
Y/N was leaning on and their lips were almost touching, so close to-
“Leo! Shadow Bat!”
Kissing. Damn.
They pulled apart, just as Mikey came in.
“We gotta go, it’s patrolling time!” he sang.
“Got it. You know, Mikey, you can call me Y/N.”
“But Shadow Bat is so much cooler.”
They all walked away and Leonardo felt embarrassed. What had he been thinkinh, trying to kiss her like that? He bent down to retrieve his katanas and felt himself being tripped once again and Y/N had done it.
She leaned close again.
“You didn’t think that I would leave without my prize, did you? I won after all.”
She kissed him, quickly, softly and left the turtle blushing. But then she broke the kiss and walked away smiling.
“We’d better get going. We can continue sparring later, Leonardo.”
He followed quickly, his heart racing. He couldn’t wait to challenge her again.

(What a cool request! I didn’t know how to work it into the story, but this is Shadow Bat’s backstory:
Her parents knew Master Yoshi and, soon after he died and Master Splinter adopted the turtles, they moved to Gotham. After finding out that they were being targeted, Master Splinter went to Gotham and tried to stop the assassination. So did Batman, who had by this time met the couple after a bad fight. But they were too late to save Y/N’s parents, they were both killed.
They talked about it and Batman agreed to make sure she was safe and would one day train her. Master Splinter asked him that, when the time was right, to send her to him because he knew a move her father had created, one he had only showed to Yoshi.

Bonus! Nightwing will eventually visit you in New York City and, upon learning of your feelings for Leo, says that “you always were the weird one. I’m totally telling Tim and Barb.”)

lmcfly  asked:

Hey! do you think Sarella will get the good old "I am no man!!" moment in Sam's storyline? Or will she just help him as Alleras, her identity merely an easter egg of sorts for the viewers? Related to that, do you think Sarella's defiance of gender norms will serve as a parallel to Sam's own issues with masculinity?

Sam will probably learn the truth, if for no other reason than Lazy Leo Tyrell clearly knows who “Alleras” really is. One day Sam’s timidly all “Leo got drunk and said your father was a prince” and Sarella sighs “my father was Oberyn Martell” and Sam sputters “I heard he only had daughters” and she’s calmly all “you heard it true” and then he tugs at his collar for like an hour while she arches her eyebrow, shrugs, and resumes shooting apples.

And yeah, I think the idea is that Sarella’s comfortable with herself even in disguise in a way that Sam isn’t, ever. For example:

Alleras drew his bowstring back to his ear, turning gracefully to follow the target in flight. He loosed his shaft just as the apple began to fall.

“You always miss your last shot,” said Roone.

The apple splashed down into the river, untouched.

“See?” said Roone.

“The day you make them all is the day you stop improving.”

That last line is a far more healthy and humane attitude than Randyll Tarly ever displayed when it came to Sam’s masculinity-performance. The other character who might play a similar role in Sam’s story is Willas Tyrell (who would also presumably be much more favorably inclined to Sarella than his kinsman Leo, given his friendship with her father).

he’s very hardworking and eloquent in speaking for the group, and really he deserves all the love and recognition! he has darker skin than most of the members which sometimes he gets picked on about but he’s more confident about it (which is good because his skin is gorgeous) he also kept a diary when he was a trainee of his hopes and dreams and achievements and apparently it’s one of his most prized possessions! how fucking precious is that im gonna die

10 ways in which Nico di Angelo falls in love (with a place, with a boy, and with himself).

For two very kind anons who asked for my interpretation of how Will and Nico got together!

i.

Nico can’t really pinpoint the exact moment he decided to stay at Camp Half-Blood.

It was probably sometime during the battle with Gaea, he thinks. It was probably somewhere in the back of his mind, he thinks, as the rest of him tried to adjust to the idea of the earth herself being an enemy.

Probably.

Or maybe it was before that. Maybe it was the second he stumbled onto a field of grass, wearing a Hawaiian shirt that might very well have been one of the seven deadly sins, bearing a statue that smoldered inside his mind and felt older than time itself. Maybe it was the moment a camper with eyes the color of noontime took his hand, and didn’t flinch away.

(Nico thinks he’ll probably remember that for the rest of his life.)

Leo + Geno/Sid Porny kinky goodness pleeeeeease

Sidgeno and leo- exhibitionism (weird to think this is the last porn i’ll write as a 24 year old :/ )

The metal’s cold under his skin, a contrast to the heat of Geno’s hands and mouth where he’s running them along Sid’s sides and pressing wet kisses down the line of his spine. Sid whimpers and arches back into his touch, necklace jangling against the smooth, graduated metal of the cup he’s resting on.

Geno’s big hands cup his ass and squeeze, rolling the taut flesh in his grip and spreading the cheeks apart to bare Sid’s hole to the early spring chill lingering in the air. His mouth latches onto his right glute, teeth tugging at the skin, determined to leave a mark. Sid tries and fails to hold in the strung out whine Geno draws out of him.

Long thumbs dip into his crease, teasing at his hole. He hears geno laughing at him as he squirms- body undecided about whether to push into the sensation or away. One digit presses flat against his sensitive skin, just dipping inside his passage, and Sid bites down hard on his lip to hold in his surprised moan.

“No Sid. not be quiet.” Geno’s thumb tugs at his rim, his words vibrating through Sid’s skin where he rests against his cheek. “Let them hear, yes?”

“They’re gonna see.” Sid whines, panting, as he points out the wide open door of the guest room they’re making use of.

“Good. wan them to see like this.” Geno nips the abused skin of Sid’s ass one last time, before planting a trail of wet, wide mouthed kisses down to his hole. “watch me take you apart.”

Sid moans, unrestrained, and his sweaty fingers slide to find purchase on the edges of the cup. Geno’s tongue licks a long, slow, stipe over his hole before he blows on the skin gently to make Sid shiver at the sudden coolness on his sensitive skin. He doesn’t waste any time before he’s lapping at Sid’s hole with little kitten licks, sucking at his smooth skin, getting Sid’s hole all wet and slick.

It’s not long before he’s wet and loose enough for one of Geno’s long long fingers to sink in to the second knuckle, fuck him in small, smooth thrusts in counterpoint to his hungry mouth. Every few strokes it manages to glance against his prostate and increase the desperate, aborted movements of Sid’s hips.

“Please, please, please.” He pants out, not sure what he’s asking Geno to do, just that he needs him to do something. It’s not enough.

“Fuck.” That’s not Geno.

Geno’s face is buried between his cheeks, tongue fucking his hole relentlessly. Sid flushes and tries to move, to see who’s at the door- who’s watching Geno take him apart like this- but the finger Geno has inside him finds his prostate again and he’s slumped helplessly against the cup once again.

He’s pretty sure Geno knows someone’s there. Thinks he can feel him smile against his hole. But he doesn’t say anything, just slips another finger inside and keeps eating Sid out. It’s slightly too tight and just not slick enough with just spit for lubrication, but the friction of the drag along Sid’s stretched rim is delicious in a way that verges on the right side of painful and makes him cry out loud in the quiet of the room.

Geno’s fingers are rubbing at his prostate relentlessly now, not so much fucking him as targeting his sweet spot with pinpoint accuracy and Sid squirms back against him with a desperate whine. The head of his hard cock drags across the engraved face of the cup, the chill still a shock against his heated skin. He just desperately wants to come, wants Geno to let him fucking come.

He can feel it all building up in his belly, low and simmering and just begging for release. In his periphery he can hear the shuffle of feet on carpet and a hushed whisper he just can’t make out and all of the over-stimulation of his hole, mixed with the thought of being watched while Geno wrecks him, manages to push him over the edge of ecstasy. Come spurts across the silver face of the Stanley cup as Sid cries out his release, Geno working him through it relentlessly.

Sid slumps bonelessly against the cup, unable to hold himself upright any longer, and whines as Geno eases his fingers out of his passage. He takes his time to press a few more soft, sweet kisses to the twitching muscle before smoothing calming palms up and down Sid’s shaking thighs.

“You do so good Sid.” Sid can only wonder what Geno must look like- breathless and red faced and lips all slick and swollen. He feels Geno turn bodily in the direction of the door, wonders if their voyeur is still there, watching how good Geno looks after him. “You think so? Think he do good?”

A throat clears from the doorway,

“Yeah. yeah- he did so good.” A familiar voice chokes out, loud and hoarse in the quiet of the guest room, like they couldn’t quite get their voice out “You were… really pretty Sid.”

“Thanks, Jake.” Sid blushes heavily, not even trying to look up from his slump anymore.

He doesn’t know how he’s going to look the kid in the eye ever again.

Let alone play on a line with him next year.

Strike A Deal | Part 9

Pairing: VIXX Ravi x Reader

Genre: Fantasy/Mythology/Hades! AU

Summary:  When he catches you in his trap, what else can you do but make a deal with the King of the Underworld?

Author’s Note: I’m not super happy with this and I’ll probably fix it later. But, stuff’s been going on and my brain isn’t let me write things I’m happy with. :(
Sorry it’s been so long, hope you enjoy. ^^

Ravi charged forward, red hot fury burned in his eyes. How dare he intrude on his home? His Kingdom. He’d injured his beastly companion and now he was after his bride. No, he wouldn’t risk you being harmed. He’d fight for all of the eternities just so that you’d be safe and happy. You were his beautiful bride, the most precious thing in his entire world. Ravi’s fist clenched, swinging toward Hongbin’s jaw with such an inhumane strength that a crunch echoed on impact.

Hongbin stumbled backwards, not quite losing his footing from the true force of the hit. Tilting his head to the side, Hongbin spat out the blood that had pooled in his mouth. Smirking, Hongbin lurched towards his Godly opponent. Fists found skin, as each man fought against the other in determination. Hongbin was determined to gain back what was his, Ravi determined to protect what was his. Both men would not back down without a fight. Ravi’s fist swung connecting with Hongbin’s jaw. Stumbling back a few steps, Hongbin swiped the blood from his lip. A harsh kick to Ravi’s stomach sent him flying backwards, fuelling his anger even further, he ran at Hongbin with all new fury.

“Stay away from her!” Ravi warned lowly, venom dripping from every word. When it came to you, he’d tackle any obstacle, you were his now. He’d never let you go.

Hongbin scoffed. Ravi had given away his weakness, his achilles heel…. you. If Hongbin wanted to have a chance to beat a fully-fledged god, he’d use it against him.

A deep laugh erupted from Hongbin. “She’ll never love you. She’s a prisoner, not a bride. How could she ever give her heart to someone like you? Huh, when I free her from your clutches maybe she’ll be so grateful… she’ll marry me instead.”

Ravi’s pupils flooded to an even dark shade of rouge red. His teeth bared, a low growl rippling through his chest and echoing throughout the labyrinth. A deep scream piercing the air as the god yelled in anguish and determination. Flames streamed toward the ceiling matching the god’s anger. The souls in his Kingdom screeching in a ear-piercing pitch, if they thought their King was angry before…. they were wrong. Hongbin was wrong. You would learn to love him. Your heart had been warming to him in the time you’d been spending together. The bastard would never touch you. He didn’t want to save you, he wanted to use you as some kind of trophy for winning his godhood back.

A determined smirk plastered on Hongbin’s face. Ravi’s jaw locked in anger, his wrist flicking outwards, Hongbin sent flying backwards towards the Underworld’s rocky walls. A sickening crack resonated within the space, Hongbin’s groans of agony echoing as he fell from the wall to the stony floor. Ravi rushed forwards towards his intruder, hands clasping around his neck in a vice-like grip. Ravi’s nails grew into claw like talons, digging into Hongbin’s straining neck. Trickles of red liquid strolled down Hongbin’s neck pooling briefly in his defined collarbones. Hongbin was flailing below Ravi, hands clasping to get the God’s grip away from his windpipe. Color began to drain from Hongbin’s face, Ravi’s hands not letting go of their tight hold. He’d kill the bastard.  He’d killed for you once, he had no problem doing it again.

“Enough!” A voice boomed, the crack of lightning that followed halted the actions of the men, the bolt reaching the wall just above them. Excluding Ravi, Hakyeon was one god you did not want to anger.

Smoke swirled its way through the tunnels and crevices of the labyrinth, dispersing for Hakyeon’s arrival. Hakyeon couldn’t look on any longer, an innocent would be killed or his brother would be just because Apollo or Leo as he was known among the Gods was bored and decided to give some misguided wisdom.

“I do not get involved with your affairs, Hakyeon. I wish you’d do the same.” Leo chastised. The god appearing out of thin air and sitting on Ravi’s throne, unamused.

 “Le-” Hakyeon started.

“Sit, Hakyeon. Watch the fun begin.” A distant click resonated, followed by echoing thuds. Slow footsteps hesitantly shuffled closer.

“Ravi!” A small voice called out.

You’d been pressed against the door that Ravi had locked you behind, desperately trying to figure out what was going on. You had been listening to the grunts and growls the whole time. You thought your husband had been fighting some kind of beast that was after you next. The sounds of the fight, mimicking those from your nightmares. You’d felt so relieved to see a familiar face; so relieved to see Ravi alive. You were so happy to not be the next target of some beast, that you’d ran into his open arms. His muscled arms held you tight in his embrace, pulling you in as close as possible.

“Stay behind me, do exactly what I tell you,” He whispered roughly in your ear. Releasing you from his grasp, turning you both so that both of your backs faced the wall. Ravi’s hand snaking down your arm, linking your fingers with his behind his back.

You gulped, who exactly were these people? Two men you’d never seen before were in the Underworld. One gasping for breath, the other drumming his fingers on Ravi’s throne.

“Ah, there she is!” Leo mused. “You must be the mortal that has our Hades so,” he paused, “distracted.”

“Leave now,” Ravi thundered. “I’d rather not scar my wife with all the things I would do to the three of you.” He barked. Through your current position you could feel Ravi’s hand tense in anger, his hand squishing you his chest rumbling deeply as growled out his threats.

In a way you were happy that Ravi was so protective of you. He had promised not to ever hurt you and if he was this pissed over their presence maybe you should want them gone. The other part of you was internally screaming for them to free you and send you home to your family. But, what if you went with them and they kept you just like Ravi had but treated you far worse? Was it really worth the risk?

“Now, now… we have a mortal with a quest to complete. Why not make it a little interesting, hm?” Leo chuckled.

“My wife is not some prize for your games.” Ravi barked back.

“But, what a fitting trophy wife she would be.” Leo disappeared from the spot on the throne, appearing by your side.

His slender fingers found your chin, tilting your head to look at him. “Such a beauty. Isn’t she Hongbin?” The man on the floor nodded in response, getting to his feet slowly.

“Such a pity she’s hidden away with that monster,” Hongbin choked out.

“Well then, it seems you have a new contender for your hand, my dear,” Leo smirked, leaning closer to Ravi. Ravi turned and pushed you behind his body, shielding you from Leo’s advances. Leo knew exactly what he was doing, riling up the god of the Underworld until he’d participate in the contest.

A snarl ripped from your husband as he charged at inhuman speeds towards Leo.

“Fine, you want a contest? I’ll win against your hero over there and then she stays with me and you leave and never come back.”

“And if you lose…” Leo prompted, eyes flickering between you and Ravi.

You interrupted before Ravi could speak, “Then I will go with you.”

I’m Still Pissed with the Producers of Agents of SHIELD

So I was thinking back to the exact moment where the SkyeWard canon ship died i.e. when Skye shot Ward in the back and I realized something. There was no reason she had to do that. Ward trusted her and loved her, he wouldn’t have hurt her, and she knew this, he wasn’t going to hurt the rest of the team, they could have actually just thrown him back into a cell or you know done the right thing and turned custody of a terrorist over to the federal government (far be it from me to say we should let a criminal, a man who really did murder his own family, to walk free, but still SHIELD didn’t have to keep him). Or and here’s something that only Skye herself could have done and would have gone a long way in terms of character development: she could have forgiven him. Skye would have been the only one to understand how Ward was manipulated because she had been treated the same way by her ex-boyfriend (who got kicked off the plane in China, I think, but is probably still alive, still better way to leave the show than Garret). Ward was desperate for a father figure just like Skye was desperate for a family and both Garret and Miles (that was the ex-boyfriend’s name, thanks google!) took advantage of that. Skye was forgiven by Coulson for still going back to Miles and she eventually became the badass agent we know now, but Ward didn’t get to have that. Had Skye forgiven him, not only would it have been an awesome parallel to her and Coulson showing just how much Skye thinks of Coulson as a father figure, but it meant that Skye was growing as a person. She knew that she had been manipulated by Miles and she knows that Ward was manipulated and worse by Garret, thus making Ward a victim as well, and rather than blame Ward for the actions of Garret she could forgive him, letting go of the anger she had clung onto for so long and just being free of it, so when she does go down into that hole with Raina, she’s at peace with everything in case they do both die, but instead they still live. Maybe Trip would have still died or maybe, maybe Ward would have followed Skye down. Maybe Ward would have tried to destroy the diviner instead and wound up dying, trying to save the world in the process, redeeming himself in his last act, and allowing another amazing agent, aka Antione “I deserved better than literally everything that happened to me” “Trip” Triplett. They could have allowed Ward the death of a hero, an imperfect man trying to make up for his past sins. Or maybe, who knows, maybe Trip still dies, but instead Ward vows to make sure that Trip’s sacrifice isn’t in vain. Maybe Ward swears to be the kind of man that Trip was, and maybe that allows him to tell Fitzsimmons that he thought the craft was supposed to float, that he’s sorry, that he knows he’ll never be able to truly make up for what he has done, but he’s going to spend the rest of his life trying to set things right. Maybe he tells May his weak spots so she’ll have the upper hand in a fight with him, maybe he tells Coulson to put the same bracelet Skye wore on him, so that way he can’t do anything about getting more intel for HYDRA or whatever. Maybe he actually does still sleep in his old cell, I don’t know. But it could have prevented so much of the bad shit that happened to SHIELD if Skye had just not shot Ward three times in the goddamned back. Maybe things could have been better, I certainly think the show would have been better and would have given Skye/Daisy Johnson more character development earlier on, and possibly even saved her so much of the pain she had to endure. Simmons might not have become as hardened as she did, Fitz might have been able to get better psychologically faster, maybe SHIELD would have been a better agency, but we’ll never get the chance to know that. Because instead of forgiveness, she gave him even more of a reason to target SHIELD, she gave him even more motive to become the monster that he died as. The day Grant Ward really died, was the day that Skye shot him three times in the back and walked away as if it meant nothing. As if he has meant nothing. That was the day that Grant Ward really died.

The words had left your mouth before you’d registered them. The tension in the room too much for you to handle. You had to do something, or say something, apparently.

Ravi looked like you’d squeezed every last bit of air out from his lungs. His glowing eyes dimming with hurt. You words left him speechless. How could you leave so easily? With Leo and this intruder of all people? Had he not shown you kindness? Had he not shown you love? Had he not given you his heart? Had he not given you everything?

Ravi’s hands slipped from their hold on Leo’s neck. The usually graceful god stumbled toward you in a drunk like state. His heart was too heavy. He thought you’d changed. His hands returned to their normal form, talons disappearing back into dulled nails. His arms wound their way around your waist, eyes desperately searching yours.

“Did you forget the deal you made with me?”

You shook your head, the ground suddenly more interesting, you could not look at those eyes. He looked as if you’d torn out his heart and trampled it beneath your foot.

“Please look at me,” His palms cupped your cheeks, your head tilted back to look at his hurt expression. “They are not what they seem, they do not care for mortals. You will be used and abused… maybe worse, tell them you changed your mind and I’ll do anything, my love… please. Don’t leave me.”
