So this next Not Quite Normal OTP challenge is for you, babe! I hope it brightens your day a little bit!

*^*^*^

Stiles’ summer vacation does not start out well. In fact, it starts out pretty poorly.

Okay, really, it’s a fucking disaster.

Because, Stiles is walking out of Beacon Hills High, officially a Junior now that the final bell has rung, and he’s talking to Scott who keeps insisting that Junior year will be the year that he will finally ask Allison out and Scott has fallen behind to stare at her and Stiles keeps walking because Scott will catch up eventually, though Stiles is keeping an eye on him, and-

Well, that’s when he gets hit by a car.

Not just any car, though. No, when Stiles regains consciousness and manages to blink away the dark spots that take up 90% of his vision, he finds himself staring at the front of a black Camaro.

And the only black Camaro in Beacon Hills belongs to…

“Oh my god.” Derek Hale.

Derek Hale, the now-senior lacrosse player and subject of almost all of Stiles’ dirtiest fantasies.

He groans. And it’s only partly from the pain.

“Fuck.”

“Stiles!” Scott sounds frantic. “I’m calling an ambulance.”

“I don’t need,” Stiles tries. And then stops. Because he looks down to see his leg covered in blood and he has never liked blood and- well, he doesn’t complain when Scott stands up with the phone pressed to his ear.

“I’m sorry!” Derek Hale is saying and he sounds… angry? This is not how Stiles wanted his first interaction with Derek Hale to go. “You just- you just walked right into the road!”

“Dude,” Stiles replies, rubbing at his eye. “Are you really blaming me for this?”

“Not blaming you, I just- you walked right in front of me!”

“You hit me with your car!” Stiles winces at the sounds of his own voice. It’s too loud. Everything is too loud.

When he opens his eyes again, Derek’s eyebrows are draw together in concern.

“I’m sorry,” Derek repeats. It’s probably just the result of Derek’s ridiculously attractive face and Stiles’ epic crush on the kid, but Stiles forgives him instantly. Even though he’s getting colder by the second and he’s pretty sure that’s not a good thing.

“Don’t worry about it,” he says, waving a hand and regretting it when the motion hurts his leg somehow. “I’m sure I’m fine.”

Day 6 - Rainy Days Vs Beach/Ocean

Perhaps not my best work…

For the most part, Raven rather liked Kid Flash, inasmuch as she liked anyone, that is. The same went for his famous mentor, the Flash: a little square but a good soul - and Raven could literally see it. Still, at the moment, she and her green friend were understandably grumpy about their presence at the Tower.

Weather Wizard?!” Beast Boy whined. The Flash nodded.

“Yup. We have him in cutsody now. There wasn’t enough time to get in touch with you before we caught up with him but we thought it was only fair to check in, now that it’s all settled,” he said. Robin nodded but Beast Boy seemed ready to yank his hair out.

“Settled? This is what you call settled?” he cried, pointing at the window. Indeed, in the middle of summer, Jump City was in the middle of a great, dark rain storm. Kid Flash shrugged.

“Without him, the weather should right itself in a day or so,” he offered.

“A day? But today I-” Beast Boy started, but cut himself off. He glanced at Raven, who blinked at him in apparent disinterest, then stormed out of the room.

“What’s his problem?” Kid Flash asked the others. “It isn’t like we caused it.” Robin shook his head, at a loss.

“We were planning a beach day but nothing major,” Robin said. Cyborg remained unusually quiet, Raven thought. She squashed an entirely unreasonable stab of jealousy and shrugged..

Later, Raven was making the journey to her room from the common room, tea in hand. To prevent any spill, she floated above the floor, silently, occasionally inhaling the scent from the cup. Just as she reached her door, she heard urgent but hushed voices. She carefully advanced down the corridor, eventually realising the voices wer Cyborg and Beast Boy, and they were coming from Beast Boy’s room. Once again, a flash of concern for Beast Boy made itself known but, not wishing to eavesdrop, Raven started to turn away.

“I was gonna ask Raven out, okay?” she heard, muffled through the door but unmistakeable: Beast Boy. Raven’s tea slipped from her grasp only to be captured by her power, any stray liquid magically finding its way back to the cup.

“I know, I know. Don’t give me that look, why else would you ask me to get Rob and Star playing a game without you? Still, I don’t get it, it isn’t like you can’t ask her out just because we missed our beach day,” Cyborg said. Raven remained by the door, frozen and hovering in place.

“I just got myself all built up, y'know? I’ll text Wally later, make it right,” Beast Boy said, grudgingly.

“You’d better. See you later, BB,” Cyborg said and, with a start, Raven flew to and phased through her own door before Cyborg emerged.

Raven gently set her tea down, noting curiously that her hand seemed to be trembling slightly. So… Beast Boy was planning to ask her out. The real question was: what would she say? She tried to picture Beast Boy actually asking and she was surprisingly unperturbed to realise she would almost certainly say yes. She could almost hear Happy singing Rae-rae and BB sitting in a tree…. She rolled her eyes. What to do?

BEAST BOY’S ROOM

Beast Boy was still moping, glaring at the beach towels and buckets and other toys he had prepared for today, stacked in the corner of his room. He sat up when there was a knock at his door, almost hesitant at first, then loud and confident. He stood and opened the door… then felt his jaw practically hit the floor. Raven stood there, wearing a one-piece black bathing suit, sunglasses and holding a towel under her arm. She smirked at him.

“Get changed. We’re going to the beach,” she commanded. She was obeyed.

THE COMMON ROOM

Robin frowned as his communicator beeped at him, not with the usual ringtone but a warning. He flipped it open to reveal a system message: two communicators had left the Tower - Beast Boy and Raven. He immediately called Raven and she answered in a few seconds, wearing sunglasses and what appeared to be a bathing suit.

“Raven, I’m getting told you and Beast Boy left the Tower. Something I should know about?” he asked. Raven shook her head.

“Nope. Just hitting the beach,” she answered. Robin glanced out the window: the rain still pelted it.

“In this weather? Wait…” he said, wondering why Raven’s image didn’t seem to reflect the local weather. “Raven? Which beach?” he asked. Raven appeared deliberately nonchalant.

“Seven mile…” she muttered. Robin frowned.

“Seven miles away?” he asked.

“Seven Mile Beach. On Grand Cayman,” she said. Robin’s mouth opened to speak once, twice but no words emerged until at least his fifth attempt.

“Grand Cayman… you’re in the caribbean?!” he cried. Raven shrugged.

“Beast Boy was disappointed and I decided to change that. I am willing to concede I may have… overreached. A little,” Raven said. Robin facepalmed.

“Overreached?! Raven you left the country without telling me you were even leaving the tower!” he complained. Raven smiled a tiny, wistful smile.

“I did… I guess I like the little squirt after all,” she said to herself. “We’ll see you later, Robin. We won’t stay long.” Then she was gone. Robin swore.

SEVEN MILE BEACH

“Was that Robin?” Beast Boy asked, still wet from his swim. Raven nodded. “He’s probably pissed, huh?” Raven nodded again.

“Don’t worry, I can handle Robin,” she said. Beast Boy grinned and lay on the towel next to her.

“Thanks for this, Rae. Today was perfect,” he said. Raven sighed as the affection and gratitude rolled off him in waved that matched the nearby sea. She watched him for several silent moments, then made up her mind to help him again.

“Where to, Beast Boy?” she asked. He looked up at her.

“You want to leave already?” he asked, glumly.

“No,” Raven answered. “I meant for our second date.”

“Oh. Right. Well maybe we could… wait what?!

Ha!

Thanks swimminglifeisgreat :D I enjoyed writing this, and <3 thanks for being so polite lol. And I’m sorry for the late reply, I meant to write this yesterday when you sent it, but I got held up. Be WARNED, Tyler seems like an asshole in this one in the beginning (which I really didn’t mean for to happen) but he gets better near the end. Sorry if anybody does not enjoy or like Tyler portrayed like that.

Title: Spin the Bottle

The room was filled with chatter and people, some who were getting a bit to tipsy for some people’s liking. The occasional sound of yelling and cheers could be heard from the living room where some were playing a round of the new Call of Duty. A lot of people who had came barely knew each other, and had only accepted the invite for the food and to be able to brag about getting into a Twitch party.

The guys had decided to all stick to one another the entire time, not wanting to get separated and stuck to talking to people who they didn’t know. One of them, Evan, was about to suggest that they just go ahead and leave, since none of them seemed to be interested, when someone yelled, “Who wants to play Spin the Bottle?”.

“Oh, that sounds interesting.” Brock noted, subtly hinting that he wanted to play. Tyler rolled his eyes, grumbling that he didn’t really want to end up kissing some chick whose breath smelled like she just ate shit, but he was ignored, and the rest of the guys had already agreed and headed over to where they were setting up.

They sat down, noticing that besides them, only 5 people joined, and three of them were girls.

“Oh hell no!” Tyler exclaimed as he arrived, as he saw how many girls there were compared to boys “I am not taking the chances of kissing a guy.”

“Lighten up will ya? No one said you had to kiss a guy. You can just pass for god sake.” Brian piped up, trying to divert any potential arguments that Tyler could’ve caused.

“Yeah,” Jonathan said, before hiccuping. “Who even said anything about kissing a guy? Unless you want to?” He waggled his eyebrows,EARNINGhim a glare, and he burst out laughing.

“Come on man, it’ll be fun. If you don’t want to kiss somebody just say pass.” Evan piped up. He really wasn’t in the mood, and wanted to avoid any bad situations at all costs, which he found hard to do with Tyler and his mouth, and it didn’t help that almost all of them had had quite a few drinks.

He stared at Tyler, patting the space next to him, and Tyler sighed in defeat before sitting down next to Evan.

“Alright lets get this party started!!” Shouted one of the guys who joined the game. He spun the bottle, watching as it slowly came to stop, pointing at a pretty girl with a curly Afro and freckles. They kissed, earning him a cheer from one his friends before the game continued

After a few spins, it was Arlan’s turn. He looked around nervously, wiping his hands on his pants before grabbing the bottle and giving it a good spin. They all watched as it turned, slowly coming to a stop, before it landed on Lui.

Arlan’s eyes widened, before looking at Lui,who had a small smirk on his face.  He had never kissed a guy before, and he never considered it until now.

There was a stretch of silence as the two stared at each other, neither one speaking a word, until someone asked if they were going to kiss or what. Arlan let out a shaky breath, confused as to why he was so desperate to kiss Lui.

He felt his cheeks heat up, and he looked down from Lui’s gaze.

“Yo… nosotros hacer no tener a Lui” he muttered.

“Pero que pasa si yo querer a, Arlan?” Lui said, smiling, before he placed his hand gently on his cheek, and leaned in, capturing his lips in a sweet kiss. He tasted like beer, mixed in with something sweet that he couldn’t place, but he liked it.  As soon as it happened, it was over, leaving Arlan blushing, wringing his hands together.

Most of their friends were smiling at them, besides Tyler, who was looking a the ground with his arms crossed over his chest, not really wanting to look at two guys kiss.

“Can we just continue” He muttered, before taking a swig of his drink that he brung with him.

It was Marcel’s turn, but he refused, saying he had a girlfriend he was serious with, and it was passed onto Evan. He gripped the bottle tightly, his muscles flexing momentarily, before he flicked his wrist, and the bottle was spinning again. It spun longer then usual, before it slowed down, pointing at Jonathan.

Evan scratched his neck, looking around the room. He wasn’t gay, and he knew he could pass on kissing Jonathan, but looking at his light pink lips and his bright blue eyes, how could he say no? Not only that, but the look on his face suggested he wanted to, and Evan didn’t want to disappoint him. Scooting closer, Evan smiled, throwing Jonathan by surprise.

Jonathan eyes widened, and even though the effects of his drink were starting to turn his mind a bit fuzzy, he knew for sure that he couldn’t kiss Evan. Out of all the guys, he was sure that none of them were gay and bisexual, especially Evan.

But Evan wasn’t protesting, and he got the feeling that he wanted to. So when Evan leaned in, his lips pressing against his softly and his hand lightly pressing down on his thigh, Jonathan kissed him back. It didn’t last long to Jonathan’s liking, and Evan pulled away, leaning his forehead against Jonathan’s lightly, a soft smile on his lips, and Jonathan couldn’t help the warmth that spread through them.

He scooted away, feeling his cheeks burn, and he hoped no one could see how hard he was blushing.

Tyler rolled his eyes. Could this game get any gayer? “God,” he mumbled. “Any more of you fags secretly gay?”

Brian turned to him, eyeing him as he did. “Can you not be so rude, Tyler? There’s nothing wrong with being gay, and your the only one complaining.” he said. “Keep talking, but watch when you spin the bottle and it lands on a guy and you end up kissing them.”

Everyone was shocked by his outburst. Tyler glared, biting his lip to keep from saying something that he might regret. Taking a deep breath, he grabbed the bottle, sending one last glare towards Brian, before spinning it. He watched as it slowed  down, the bottle pointing at Brock, before it landed on the girl sitting next to him.

He smirked at Brian, happy to prove him wrong, before kissing the girl. He grimaced, noticing that she smelled, and didn’t even know how to kiss properly. But he faked it as if it was the best kiss he had gotten all night, grinning as he pulled away.

Passing the bottle to Craig, he wiped his lips discreetly, before taking a chug of his drink to get rid of the taste the girl had left behind.

Everyone watched as the bottle stopped, landing on a big, burly looking guy, who was grinning suggestively at Craig.

Craig cringed, saying that he’ll pass, but the guy insisted, already starting to walk over to him. Craig eyes widened as he did, slightly scared as to what he might do to him.

Tyler’s giant frame was in front of him suddenly, and Craig looked on in surprise as Tyler told the guy off.

“Look Bulldozer, he said he’ll pass, so back the fuck off!” He angrily growled. His fists were clenched tightly at his side. If they guy wanted to fight, then he wanted to be ready. But much to his and everyone’s surprise, he backed down without a word, walking back to his seat angrily.

Tyler turned his attention to Craig, his tall frame towering over Craig. “Are you okay?” he asked, unaware of how soft his voice had gotten when he did. Brian noticed, smirking to himself.

“Yeah, yeah, I’m fine. More surprised then anything.” He said, looking as Tyler sat back down next to him, noticing as he sat a little closer to him then before. Craig blushed, his chest thumping at how protective he was being, and he wondered for a split second how it would be to kiss Tyler, but he figured it was all the drinks he had.

Tyler noticed his friends staring at him in surprise, some smiling, and some smirking, but he payed them no attention.

Craig gripped the bottle again, before sending it into a spinning frenzy, before it slowed down, and he sighed as the bottle landed on Tyler.

He immediately set the bottle back into position, ready to spin again, because he knew Tyler was never going to agree to kissing him, but Tyler stopped him, placing his hand over the bottle before realizing what he done.

Craig looked at him in surprise. “Tyler, are you… I mean are you saying you want to?” He asked.

Tyler blinked, his mind cloudy. “What, no! I mean, I don’t know why I did that, I just.. uh. No, I don’t want to.” He groaned, not even convincing himself of his answer.

“It sure looks like you want to, too me!” Brian quipped, but he backed down when Evan glared at him, telling him to stop trying to piss Tyler off.

Craig licked his lips, looking on as Tyler fidgeted, not sure what to say.

“You don’t have to, its totally fine.” He said, and he was about to spin the bottle again, but Tyler stopped him again, telling him to wait, not sure as to what he was doing. A minute ago, he was calling his friends fags, and gays, disgusted by the idea of kissing a guy, but now it was different with Craig.

“How about just on the cheek?” Craig asked, and Tyler nodded. Leaning up, Craig kissed Tyler lightly on his cheek, before quickly leaning back into his spot. He wasn’t expecting to feel his large hands grasping his face, nor was he expecting to feel Tyler’s warm lips against his, but he didn’t complain. Leaning more into his touch, Craig felt his chest beating wildly, his mind screaming at the fact that he was kissing Tyler, his best friend.

Tyler pulled away, staring at Craig’s flushed face and pinks lips, before turning away.

Jonathan giggled, exclaiming he didn’t think Tyler was going to do it. Brian only smirked, telling him ‘I told you so’. Tyler told him to shut up, still trying to comprehend what happened, but he found that he liked kissing Craig a whole of a hell lot more then kissing that girl.

Craig blushed, wanting more, but he didn’t want to ruin their friendship.

He passed the bottle to Brock, who accepted it shyly. Brock had never played spin the bottle because it always made him nervous, and now was no exception. He didn’t want to chicken out and say no, so he clutched the bottle, getting ready to spin it, when Brian stopped him.

“Brian, what are yo-”

“Well, its obvious that by fate, its most likely going to land on me, and I’ve been wanting to kiss you for a while now Brock, so instead of wasting time, we’re going to say the bottle landed on me.” Brian said. He pointed the bottle at him, before placing one hand gently behind Brock’s neck and the other lightly on his waist, before catching Brock’s lips between his.

Brock didn’t respond, but once getting over the initial surprise, he kissed him back, smiling at how warm and comforting his lips were. They pulled back, smiling at each other.

The other two people took their turn, one of them having the bad luck of it landing on Jonathan, where Evan stepped in and spoke for him, saying he didn’t nor want to kiss her.

Once the game was over, the guys got up, ready to leave. They got up and began to leave, awkwardly walking next to each other. They were all confused now as to where they stood with the person they kissed. Neither of them were sure if it meant they were supposed to hold hands or be a couple, or were they going to just forget about it.

But it was obvious none of them wanted to forget what happened, but they didn’t know how to go about it. So they walked out, each one itching to grab the other person’s hand, ever so often glancing at the other licking their lips, looking away quickly when the other would catch them.

Marcel groaned, shaking his head at how awkward they looked.

“Do you guys have to walk like that?” He moaned, wondering where he found his friends sometimes. “You look like you just went in there and witnessed a mandingo or something.”

The guys laughed, before quickly going back to their awkward state they were in before.

“Sooo..” Brock said, looking at Brian.

“Do this mean that we, you know…” Jonathan began, his eyes catching at how close Evan was.

“So do we just forget what happened or should, um…” Craig mumbled, not wanting to finish his sentence, and he looked down, feeling Tyler’s gaze on him.

“Debemos salir?” Lui asked, glancing at Arlan, smiling at how shy he was being, and he slipped his fingers through his.

“For GODS SAKE! Would you guys just hook up already?!” Marcel yelled, throwing his hands up in the air. It was so blatantly obvious that tonight had revealed whatever secret feelings they had for each other, and if he could see that, then they obviously could.

They all laughed, some of the awkwardness starting to vanish, before Tyler pipped up, the first to notice that they had no car, since they all got a ride from uber and now had no cash to spend, and would either have to walk or hitch a ride

“So uh, how are we getting home, you fuckers?”

This turned out way longer then I expected it to, I am so sorry! I got really into it, and I just, this happened. And the ending, I know is a bit like different, and I hope it wasn’t to weird to end it like that.

And I am so sorry if my spanish is wrong ;/. I’m not fluent in it, and even though I know a handful of phrases and words, I’m pretty sure that some of it was wrong (i hope not). but below are the translations

“Yo… no tenemos que Lui” (I, we don’t have to Lui)
“Pero que pasa si quiero Arlan?” (But what if I want to Arlan?)
“Debemos Salir?” (Should we go out?)

Lonely Christmas

I never know if spending Christmas night on other country will be this lonely. Everybody has their own plan with their family or lover. Meanwhile I don’t really have any friend beside AOMG member. The road full with beautiful ornament and couples that holding hand. It makes me lonelier. Actually I’ve planned to spend Christmas night with Chacha who also doesn’t have family in Korea but unfortunately Chacha got an emergency call from his family and heading back to Seattle last night. I should get myself busier to distract this depressed thought so I decide to spend the night at AOMG studio and finish my own song there. As expected, there’s no one here. The studio seems a lot wider than usual. I take a photo of this empty studio and send it to AOMG chatting room with caption ‘The rarest thing on AOMG studio. Nobody’s here!’. No respond even some of them already read my chat. Of course they won’t waste their precious time to reply my chat. I enter the recording room and wear my headset ready to start my work when I heard sound from outside. I’m sure locked the entrance door before enter the recording room. Is someone here? I open the recording room’s door slowly to peek outside but the door pushed open and make me who stand behind it fall on the floor.

I really wanted a NYE episode this year. This is how I saw one going down. Pure fluff.

“So who all’s coming to my New Years Eve party?” Stuart asks the guys as they thumb through comic books. They all look at each other and grimace before Sheldon answers.

“I don’t believe any of us will be attending your shinding’.”

“Not even you Raj?” Stuart asks desperately and he shakes his head.

“Sorry dude.”

“Come on guys! It has been like four years since you came to tbe comic book store for new years eve.” Stuart begs.

“Exactly.” Howard tells him. “And in that time we have all gotten girlfriends or got married.” He says shrugging his shoulders.

“So bring them too! The more the merrier! The last time you brought a girl you won first place in the costume contest.”

“That’s another thing.” Sheldon says. “Since winning top prize the thrill of competition is gone.”

“So how about instead of a group costume contest I make a bunch of other categories and best costume of the night wins top prize?”

“Interesting.” Sheldon says is interest piqued.

“The girls are not going to go for it.” Leonard tells him raising his eyebrows.

“Speaking of the girls… How do I know, that if I bring Amy here I can trust you to keep your hands to yourself?” Sheldon asks him raising an eyebrow. “I am told you tried to pitch woo to her on several occasions during our break up.” Sheldon says looking at him menacingly and Stuart throws his hands up.

“You guys were broken up! I would never hit on Amy knowing she was yours.”

“I still don’t know.” He says looking at him skeptically.

“Yeah Stuart, I just don’t think we are going to be able to convince the girls to spend new year’s eve in a comic book store.” Leonard says.

“I know it’s just this year has been long and lonely for me. What with Debbie dying and being kicked out of the house we shared…” Stuart starts hanging his head

“First of all Debbie was my mom! And you lived in our house for long time!” Howard begins but Howard stops him.

“Emily might go for it she likes cosplay. Tell me Stuart is there a theme?” Raj asks.

“Yes! This the best part keeping with the trends… This years theme is Star Wars!”

“Oooo!” Sheldon says excitedly. “The original movies? The prequels? The Force Awakens? Yes to all!!!”

“All genres no holds barred.” Stuart tells them. “Though I am surprised to hear you so excited Sheldon.”

“Why it’s a well known fact that I am a fan of Star Wars.” Sheldon says confused.

“It’s just that I know you gave up your opening night ticket so I thought that maybe you weren’t as big of a fan anymore.” Stuart says trying to get him back for his earlier dig about being rejected by Amy.

“Oh that, well it was Amy’s birthday.”

“Still birthday’s coming once a year and you have been waiting ten years for the new Star Wars.” Stuart says.

“I decided instead of seeing Star Wars on opening night. My time would be better spent having coitus with my girlfriend.” he tells Stuart matter of factly. “From what I recall you enjoyed your night doing neither. Good day Stuart, I will ask Amy about attending your party.” Sheldon says turning on his heel and walking out of the shop.

“So he and Amy finally…” Stuart asks the other guys making a gesture with his hands.

“Yep.” Leonard says smirking at Stuart.

“No wonder he skipped the premiere.” Stuart says dreamily. “I would forgo the rest of the franchise for a chance with her.”

“You might want to keep that to yourself.” Leonard tells him.

“I can’t believe you convinced me to go to this dumb party.” Amy gripes as she adjusts the sleeves on her Princess Leia costume.

“I can’t believe you convinced me to go as Han Solo.” Sheldon says adjusting his vest in the mirror.

“I can’t believe you had a Princess Leia costume at the ready.” She tells him smiling. Even though she did not want to go to the party she has to admit they look great together.

“You never know who the odd one out will be at Comic-Con who has to go as Leia.”

“At least it is not the gold bikini.” Amy says as they walk out the door of Sheldon’s bedroom.

“Are you sure? I could buy you one.” He tells her winking at her.

“Quite sure, I don’t have the… Ahem… Assets to pull of that one.” Amy says as they walk into the empty living room.

“I beg to differ.” Sheldon tells her pulling her into a kiss he had been resisting giving her since seeing her dressed as Leia.

“Oh get a room!” Penny yells at them before their lips connect. “Don’t do that in front of your mother! “ Penny says pointing her gun at them dressed as Padme’ from Attack of the Clones.

“Ha ha.” Sheldon says stepping away from her.

“That’s a good son-in-law.” Leonard jokes as he walks in dressed as Anakin. “Okay family let’s go we are meeting the rest of the gang at the comic book shop.

When the get to the comic book store the party appears to be in full swing. Sheldon looks around and groans loudly and rolls his eyes.

“What’s wrong?” Amy asks.

“Look at how many Leia and Han’s there are here! I told you we should have been BB-8 and R2-D2!”

“And I told you I was not going dressed as an orange ball or a space trash can.” Amy hisses at him.

“Space trash can! Woman!” He hisses back.

“Fighting already?” Stuart says appearing beside them dressed as Obi Wan Kenobi. “Did someone say help me Obi Wan you’re my only hope?” He asks raising his eyebrows at Amy who rolls her eyes.

“Get lost you…you…nerf herder!” Amy tells him and Stuart and Sheldon are taken aback.

“Geez! Someone Can’t take a joke.” Stuart says walking away.

“Did you just use a Star Wars reference to insult Stuart?” He asks looking down at her intently.

“I did.” Amy says excited and just as Sheldon leans down to kiss her they are interrupted by Bernadette’s high pitch squeal.

“You guys look adorable!” She yells hugging Amy around the neck.

“So do you guys!” Amy tells her Howard and Bernadette are dressed as ewoks

“This is humiliating.” Howard gripes crossing his furry arms.

“Why? The Ewoks are the most adorable Star Wars characters.” Bernadette tells him.

“That’s just it I don’t want to be adorable I want to be badass!” He says.

“Excuse me! The Ewoks helped take down the empire while looking adorable in the process.” Bernadette tells him.

“She has a point Howard.” Leonard tells him. “Who better to be Ewoks than tbe most tiny adorable couple we know.”

“Are Emily and Raj not coming?” Penny asks bored of the subject.

“We’re here.” A Kylo Ren says behind Bernadette pulling of its mask to reveal long red hair.

“I can’t believe nobody dressed as Luke in our group! I don’t even get to say my best line.” Raj says pulling off his mask.

“So you guys are grandfather and grandson… Neat…” Penny says tilting her head.

“I only wanted to be a sith.” Emily says putting her mask back on and walking away.

“Ookkkayyy.” Penny says through her teeth drinking her drink.

The rest of the night is fun. More fun tban the girls thought New Year’s eve in a comic book store would be. Even if Sheldon is disappointed that his and Amy’s costume did not win top prize just best Han and Leia.

“Its not fair! Howard and Bernadette’s stupid Ewok’s won… I told you…”

“If you say we should have been two robots so help me. Besides think of it this way. They were the only Ewoks so they won top prize. However we won best Han and Leia out of how many other couples?”

“Only because you were the only actual female Leia.” He sniffs.

“Exactly! When you used to come to these things did you ever think you would be the one with an actual girl on your arm?” She asks him as tbe countdown begins.”

“Are you saying you are the prize?” He asks her puzzled.

“Well…”

“You’re right.” He tells her as the count hits one and he kisses her. Kissing her long after the other couples break apart to celebrate the new year. “Sorry I’ve been wanting to do that all night.” He tells her when he breaks away.

“So have I” Amy admits staring back up into his face.

“How about a hug to ring in the new year?” Stuart asks Amy walking up to them but She,din wraps her up in another passionate embrace blocking Stuart out.

Hi, I just wanted to say that you have the best Reylo fics on Tumblr I've read!! And I was wondering if you could write a modern Reylo AU where a reluctant Rey has been sent to go on vacation on this tropical island by her boss, and Kylo is this mysterious person that likes solitude and has lots of hide-outs around the island that Rey goes to. And then Rey loses her dog (BB-8) while out on a hike and ends up running into Kylo who helps her find the dog. Thank you so much!

“BB-8? BB-8?? Where are you?!?!?!?” Rey sighed in frustration. It was only her second day of her “much needed vacation” as her boss had put it and she was already miserable. She was positively itching to get back to work. “But no,” she muttered to herself as she searched for her wayward dog, “I have to spend a week on this stupid island instead, because I’m ‘working too hard’.” She scoffed. “Working too hard… That’s bullshit.”

Rey was nothing short of a workaholic and while she enjoyed vacations as much as the next guy, she was so close to reaching a breakthrough in her research, she just didn’t feel that her time was being spent well at this resort. Just the other night she watched several incompetent hula dancers compete in the resort’s bar when she could’ve been running tests in the lab.

“BB-8, where are – Agh!” Rey tripped on a tree root, knocking her off balance. She landed with a thud to the ground and before she could stop herself began to roll down the somewhat steep hill. “HEEEEEEEEEEEEELP MEEEEEEEEE!”

Ben Solo loved taking vacations, especially on this island. He had been here so many times, that he knew all sorts of nooks and crannies that you wouldn’t be able to find on the resort’s tour of the tropical forest. No, they were all places you had to actively search out and find on your own, which is how Ben after many explorations had discovered most of the island’s secrets.

In fact, he had been on his way to one of his favorite hideaways when he heard someone screaming. Ben liked solitude. He always enjoyed his own company then that of others, but as a relatively decent human being, Ben knew he couldn’t ignore what seemed to be a cry for help. Running in the direction of the call, he quickly came upon a woman rolling toward him down a dirt path. Moving quickly, he intercepted her descent by getting onto his knees, holding out his arms, and essentially catching her like she were a rolling baseball and his arms a leather glove. He swayed back a bit from the impact but managed to keep his ground.

Peering down at the woman in his arms, he was momentarily taken aback by her beauty. He didn’t normally notice that kind of thing. Sure he was aware of what features on women, and men for that matter, were aesthetically pleasing, but never before had someone’s appearance moved him in any way. Doing his best to ignore the new sensation, he asked her, “Are you okay?”

She blinked a couple times, clearly disoriented, before seeming to get herself together. “Yes, I’m fine. Just a bit bruised.”

She had a couple cuts too, he observed, but nothing serious. He helped her up to her feet.  “Why were you rolling down the hill anyway?”

The woman brushed off her pants as she said, “I was looking for my dog and then I accidentally tripped on something… Speaking of which, have you seen a white and orange beagle by any chance?”

Ben shook his head. “No, but I can help you look if you want. I know this island pretty well.” He was a little stunned at himself for willingly offering to help the woman. He didn’t even know her, and furthermore, the whole reason he went on these vacations was to avoid people. And yet… He couldn’t explain it. He found himself drawn to the stranger in a way that confounded and in many ways irritated him.

To his surprise, a bright, relieved smile blossomed on her face. “Really? Thank you so much. I could really use the help.” She bit her lip, a habit he would notice within the hour, before asking, “What’s your name?”

 “I’m Ben. You?”

 “Rey.”

“Rey,” he said as if tasting a new food for the first time, “It’s nice to meet you.” He offered her a hand and felt a little jolt of electricity go up his arm when she took it. Odd.

“It’s nice to meet you too, Ben.”

“Will you take the blindfold off, Ben?”

 “No, not yet.”

“If you turn out to be a serial killer or something, I’m going to really disappointed.”

Rey heard him chuckle. “I’m sure you’d have more pressing issues then being disappointed if I were a serial killer.”

 “Fair point.”

“And besides, I’m sure that if I really wanted to kill you, I could’ve found an easier way by now.”

“This conversation just got quite macabre. Do you usually have such morbid conversations with women you just met?”

 “Only if I like them.”

Rey hoped that it was dark enough outside to hide the blush and flustered smile she was certain were lighting up her features. After finding BB-8, the two had ended up talking for several hours. They had quite a bit in common, such as their workaholic tendencies and mutual love of earl grey tea. They spoke for so long that they ended up deciding to get dinner together that night, and the night after, and the night after, and the night after. On the fifth night, Ben told her that he wanted to show her something, which is how she had ended up blind folded, being let through the tropical forest at night. “I suppose I should feel honored then.” To her relief, her voice was even.

“Well, I’m not sure most people would say that, but sure.” Before she could respond, he added, “And you can take off the blindfold.”

Rey took off the paisley bandana covering her eyes and gasped at what she saw. He had brought her to a large, but shallow spring fed by a loud waterfall. All sorts of colorful flowers grew along its edge, their petals seemed to beckon her forward as the wind danced around them. “It’s beautiful,” she said in a hushed voice. “How did you find this place? It wasn’t on the resort tour.”

“As I’ve said before, I’ve been to this island quite a few times. But this isn’t even the best part Come on!” Without hesitation, Ben stepped into the water. It was then that Rey realized that she did not quite have the proper footwear to go traipsing through four inches of water. When he realized that she had stopped moving, Ben turned toward her. “What’s wrong?”

She motioned toward her running sneakers. “Not exactly ideal footwear for walking through water.”

Ben paused before asking, “Well, if you don’t mind, I could carry you.”

Rey furrowed her eyebrows, “That’s fine, but why are you – Whoa!” Before she could finish her question, Ben had swept her up into his arms bridal style.

Ben began to walk toward the waterfall. “It’s hard to see, but there’s a cave right behind that waterfall,” Rey could feel his chest rise and fall as he spoke and breathed. “Can you see it?”

Rey tore her attention away from their proximity and looked at the waterfall. It took her a bit of squinting, but she could make out the faint outline of a cave opening behind the water and plants hanging over the ledge. “Yes, I can. What’s in there?”

He didn’t answer her question. He simply pushed past some of the foliage and said, “Warning, you might get a little wet.” Rey felt tiny droplets land on her arms and legs as Ben did his best to press himself as far away from the rushing water as he could, inadvertently squeezing her closer to him. Her arms found their way around his neck, and her chest was practically pressed up against his.

When they made it into the cave, there was a moment in which they both just stared at each other. Their faces were inches apart. Rey watched as his eyes flicked down to her lips. He was going to kiss her. He was going to kiss her. Oh gosh, HE WAS GOING TO KISS HER. Rey knew that it was absurd to have this sort of reaction to the idea of a kiss, as if she were in middle school, but there was something about Ben that made her heart race and her pulse quicken even though they had only known each other for a several days. Hell, the simple handshake from when they first met had set the very nerve endings in her hand on fire. So as one could imagine, she was very disappointed when all he did was put her back down on her feet. “We’re almost there.”

“Where’s there?” Rey asked, her voice the slightest bit throaty from the almost kiss.

“Up here,” he said, climbing up the wall of the cave to an opening above them. It was large enough that both of them could to varying degrees of ease slip out of the cave, but not so big that she could clearly see what was above them. He pulled himself up and through the opening. “Do you need any help getting up?”

Rey snorted. “I am more than capable of climbing a 6 foot wall that is simply covered in foot and hand holes, thank you very much.”

She heard him chuckle as she deftly scaled the cave wall. “My mistake.” She pulled herself up and out of the cave opening. “So what is it that you wanted to show me?”

 “Look up.”

The look of utter amazement that filled her face made what was sure to be unbearably soggy sneakers by tomorrow completely worth it.

The one negative thing about the forest was that even though it was beautiful, it was near impossible to see any of the stars through the thick canopy. The cave, however, led to a clearing of sorts, which allowed for an almost completely unobscured view of the night sky. There seemed to be an endless amount of stars winking like diamonds up in the sky and even though he had seen this view more times then he could count, the view still filled him with a sense of awe every time.

“It’s beautiful.”

You’re beautiful, he almost said, but thankfully managed to swallow the words before they could burst out of him. “I know.”

Rey laid down on the grass beneath them. She patted the ground beside her when he hesitated. “Come on, lying down is definitely better than craning your neck.”

Ben made a sound of agreement as he laid down beside her. “Can’t argue with that.”

They both looked up the stars. “Sometimes I have trouble believing that nature is real. That something so beautiful can exist in a world filled with really ugly things, you know?” When he paused, she added, “Sorry, I didn’t mean to get weirdly philosophical there.”

“No, it’s something I’ve thought about before too.” He paused again. “Whenever I listen to the news, or something shitty happens in my own life, it seems like the world is just shades of grey, but then I see things like a starry sky or meet people like you, and it seems like there might actually be some color.”

There was a long silence. It was then that it occurred to him that what he said could potentially sound extraordinarily creepy, especially since he had only just met her. He turned toward her and was about to apologize when his mouth was suddenly covered by hers. It was a long, but chaste kiss. When they pulled away, she smiled and said, “I think you’re colorful too.”

Ben laughed because in any other situation, that would be a ridiculous statement, but in that moment it was the most perfect thing she could’ve said.

A shooting star streaked across the sky as the two came together for another kiss.
