At first, she hadn’t known what she’d been doing. She was in her car driving to get food, then she was parked outside Dylan’s apartment complex. It took her a moment but it eventually clicked. She had to find out what was going on with him. If she didn’t, she would drown in her own curiosity and subconsciously force a wedge between them.
There she was, standing at his front door with her head spinning of all the possibilities. She took a quick, calming breath and pushed the door open. She instantly rolled her eyes. Typical. No matter how much she told him that he should lock his door, he never did.
