Did Syaoran just kick a stone snake in the face and break it? No wait, there are two of them. Did he just kick two stone snakes in the face and break both of them in a single kick?

It’s gotta run in the family, right? Kurogane will be so proud.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯  Well, he makes a good point.

What is he gonna do? Use magic

ADHD!Victor Headcanons

This boy is ADHD af, and because I can’t sleep, I’m gonna write some headcanons about it.

- So he hires a cleaner for his apartment, not because he’s lazy or because he can’t clean it himself, but because there are just so many more things that require his mental energy that are more important. And really, he can afford it, so why not? When Yuuri first moves in he’s a bit thrown off, since for him cleaning helps to calm him down, but when he convinces Victor to try going without a cleaner for a month, he sees how much stress it puts on him. Since Yuuri has other methods to de-stress, they decide that the cleaner can stay.

- The cleaners, as well as Yuuri, have very explicite instructions to NOT touch the sticky notes.

- Speaking of notes, his coaching notes have to be organized a very specific way, or else it throws him off. YES, Yakov, he’s well aware that there are more efficient ways of doing things, but this is how it works for him, so just leave it.

- He’s one of the rare cases who reacts badly to stimulants, so he can’t do caffeine. Like, at all. The hour or so of productivity isn’t worth the crash when it wears off. The entire rink can tell when the barista messes up his order and gives him caffeine instead of decaf, even though he doesn’t say anything, because he’s just so MISERABLE. Yurio keeps submitting anonymous complaints to the coffee shop every time it happens, though, so at least it’s gotten more rare.

- His sleepless nights are rare, but when he gets them, Yuuri stays up with him and introduces him to his favorite video games that he plays on his own sleepless nights.

- Yuuri’s eyes nearly popped out of his head when he saw how many tabs Victor has open on his internet browser.

- Do I even need to talk about his non-existant brain-to-mouth filter and impulsivity? Come on, this is Victor Nikiforov we’re talking about here.

i wonder if they’re just happy he’s not naked for once…🙊

  • Someone: Lance is horrible he only cares about himself
  • Lance: directs Commander Iverson's attention away from Pidge so they don't get yelled at- getting yelled at himself instead, helps rescue Shiro, catches Allura when she falls out of the sleep chamber, literally uses himself as a human shield to protect Coran from an explosion- almost getting himself killed/knocking him into a coma, e m e r g e s f r o m a c o m a just to shoot Sendak when he threatens to crush Pidge, despite feeling extremely homesick he understands the gravity of his new role in life and doesn't ask if he can go home- only voicing how he misses home, reminds Keith they can't hurt the Balmera at least two times, compliments his friends when they do a good job, thinks about his family and misses them so much everyday
  • Me: *sips tea* anyways i love Lance,
but a B99 Great British Bake Off AU

obviously this involves it being an American edition/season but that’s fine

  • all of the squad are contestants, as well as like, Doug Judy and a couple of others (maybe Figgis just for laughs idk)
  • Holt and Wuntch are the judges, Kevin and the Vulture are the presenters
  • Wuntch, weirdly, is the nice judge for the most part, cos it’s mainly just Holt she hates, Holt is the tougher judge that everyone wants a handshake off
  • they never agree on anything, coming to decisions is a NIGHTMARE which is how Kevin and the Vulture are unofficial judges behind the scenes
  • the Vulture is his usual awful self, slaps Jake’s ass off camera a lot, genuinely makes him really uncomfortable until Gina and Rosa notice at one point and threaten him until he agrees to stop
  • Kevin is the presenter who goes around and reassures people when they are freaking out
  • also he and Holt met in a baking class back in the day which is part of the reason they love baking so much (they bake together all the time at home)
  • Jake is the baker who literally has no fucking clue how he actually made it in bc he has no idea what he’s doing but somehow he just has a Knack and it always turns out amazing (with the exception of a couple of True Disasters)
  • Amy comes from a long line of amazing bakers and is hella competitive, and super meticulous with her recipes and all instructions, means she Stresses during the technicals but she does know her shit and she just has to keep reminding herself that it’s like an exam where she has to learn in advance and remember
  • Rosa relies on family recipes, says she cares about them more than the actual family members who made them, also goes with her own gut feeling (usually involves putting alcohol in the food if she’s not sure what’s missing)
  • Gina learned how to bake via trial and error and general self-discovery during a year where she was forced to stay at home and take things easy after she got hit by a bus (also usually the one putting alcohol in her food)
  • Terry loves baking for his kids and his wife and they’re his biggest fans, all of his bakes are inspired by them/done with them in mind, he gets teary on the show a lot
  • Charles is still his Foodie self, so he gets Very Intense about it all and is the one that tries all the super weird flavours
  • Hitchcock and Scully applied together and everyone’s fairly sure they just got picked for the comic relief but then occasionally one of them will actually bake something really good??
  • Jake falls in love with Amy during a peanut brownie challenge while they flirt over peanuts, he makes heart eyes at her for the whole competition after that, occasionally gets so distracted by how beautiful/adorkable she’s being that he fucks his bakes up
  • Gina falls in love with Rosa after seeing her punching her bread dough, spends the whole rest of the competition trying to pick her up, it starts to take priority over the actual baking and Kevin has Noticed and is subtly trying to help her out
  • Jake and Gina have been besties since the auditions so they start trying to help each other get their girls
  • aaand let’s not forget Doug Judy
  • aka Jake’s ex-best friend from high school, they used to be the baking bros and use cupcakes to pick up girls
  • until one day they were going for the same girl, so they both made stuff to impress her, and she said she preferred Jake’s but then Doug took the credit for them, and took her to prom only to stand her up
  • Jake has never forgotten and never forgiven
  • hasn’t made cupcakes since, too painful, too traumatic
  • which really fucks him up when they get a cupcake challenge
  • seriously like imagine him trash talking Judy and then they announce “cupcakes!!” and he does his melodramatic NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
  • (you decide if he manages to nail it and beat Judy’s cupcakes yet again, or if he totally botches it bc nerves)
  • anyway at one point Jake gets the coveted Holt Handshake and he is so elated his entire life has just been made bc he has been watching the show for years and idolises him so much
  • Amy is the same and she is so horrifically jealous until Holt tries her food next and also gives her a handshake and then her and Jake just look at each other like “WHAAAT”
  • Jake comes over after and is so excited he just gives her this real big hug and it’s really Pure bc then he gets super embarrassed and awkward but she is like “oh no, he’s so cute, help I have been specifically Not Noticing That”
  • I have no idea who wins but Peraltiago and Dianetti and Holtzner are all in love and happy at the end

basically what I’m saying is can someone with the adequate baking and GBBO knowledge please write this AU I need it desperately

  • What she says: Lord of Shadows was a great book and you should really read it
  • What she means: thiS BOOK TORE OUT MY FUCKING SOUL AND I FUCKING HATE IT BUT AT THE SAME TIME I FUCKING LOVED IT. Emma and Jules are so cute but they're also just a big hot mess of emotions and angst and tbh they're ETERNALLY SCREWED. I love Diana and Diana and Gwyn are my actual fave but don't forget about Kitty because oH MY FUCKING GOd it's canon and they are so cute. Not to mention that Mark, Cristina, and Kieran will eventually have a threesome. I foresee it in the future. ALSO DID I MENTION THAT MALEC TAKING CARE OF THEIR KIDS IS THE CUTEST? Emma and Julian had sex again (shocker) and it was rlly cute and hot n heavy. Julian Blackthorn is actually my daddy. I s2g if those two parabatai don't chill Emma's gonna get fucking preggers and then things can only get worse from there. Jaime and Diego (especially Jaime) are sneaky, slimy motherfuckers and I don't really like them. no wait scratch that. I HATE JAIME BECAUSE HE'S TAKING ADVANTAGE OF DRU BUt Diego isn't that bad anymore but still.
  • ALSO I MISS ROBERT LIGHTWOOD A LOT MORE THAN I THOUGHT I WOULD BECAUSE HE WAS GOING TO HELP EMMA AND JULES AND PLUS ALEC SAW HIM DIE AND I CAN'T I JUST CANT OMFG. AND THEN LIVVY. LIVVY MY BABY OH MY GOOOOOODDDDDDD. LIVVYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY. I ACTUALLY CRIED MYSELF TO SLEEP THAT NIGHT WHEN I FINISHED LORD OF SHADOWS. GOD DAMN JUST SOMEONE PLEASE GIVE THE BLACKTHORNS A BREAK OKAY BYE.

how the fuck do you even build an emf meter what kind of brain does it take to make something that advanced? and it works too, shit. it's been 12 years and i still can't get over that fucking meter because without youtube tutorials or whatever it is kids use these days, probably without a computer at all he just figured it out. damn. maybe form books he's never read. probably

I have no fuckin idea dude. I was on the robotics team in high school and we had shitloads of help from a bunch of professional engineers, and that was just making robots with basic sensory cameras that could kick a ball…

I mean, he built it out of a fucking Walkman. You know how many parts and factory functions a Walkman has that can be used for measuring environmental information and outputting that data in a usable fashion? Basically none.

Some people just take to this engineering/programming shit like fish to water. They just get it somehow. I bet Dean is one of them. He just doesn’t happen to really need computers for his life’s work so he isn’t putting it to any disciplined use. You know, the kind of person that’s a genius at shit to the point where they have so many talents that some of them just have to fall by the wayside in terms of developing potential.

I mean. Look at this. Look at this definition of EMF from the official website:

Electromagnetic field meters (also called EMF detectors). Meters that measure the derivative (rate of change) of the surrounding magnetic field; thus, these meters are sensitive to changing magnetic fields (fields with a frequency above 0 hertz). Most EMF meters are most sensitive to frequencies of about 30-10,000 hertz, while some have a wider response. Paranormal investigators and ghost hunters use EMF meters while conducting investigations. Unusual activity in the form of high readings on these meters signifies that there is some type of paranormal activity, such as the presence of a ghost or other supernatural creature.

Forget just the programming and engineering. This is actual, hard science. Dean knows enough about fucking magnetic fields to create devices that not only measure them but that are tuned to tell the difference between regular and supernatural occurrences. He’s clearly created prototypes and gone through testing to figure out what works and what doesn’t. It doesn’t just beep when it hits a certain level, he has a sliding scale that he can use for analysis.

This means that this isn’t just about “Dean being good with his hands” like people dismissively claim, Dean is a regular Science Man™. Dean’s superior ability for pattern recognition isn’t some kind of one-use talent, it’s evident of an analytical mind that can put together abstract data with ease.

Maybe it doesn’t sound like a huge deal at first, but you’re right that Dean had no formal education in this crap. High schools don’t teach this. Average kids don’t just figure this shit out on their own no matter how many books they have at their disposal, and I’m willing to bet Dean didn’t have any kind of mentor in the field. An EMF meter is not a baby’s first. Like… At all.

Hell, the wiki says he’s still using that thing all the way up in S7. Shit wasn’t a cute little science project, it was built to last, not just in how sturdy it’s built but in how accurate it is. You would usually expect things built by characters back in S1 to be completely obsolete by S7, but that’s not the case here. It’s just that good.

It’s also proof that we aren’t blowing smoke. If something happens in the first season and is never mentioned again, it might be dismissible, but when it’s still brought back 7 seasons later what you have is authorial intent.

Like who he tryna kid though?

anonymous asked:

can u write one from josh's pov where he is madly in love with y/n but she's already got a boyfriend and he can't help but feel heartbroken knowing that josh is just always going to be y/n's best friend

authors note: all i could think when reading this prompt was Jim and Pam, so that’s kind of what I loosely based this off from. This is a longerish fic, hopefully what you were looking for.  Enjoy!

JOSH DUN IMAGINE

“Square up, Y/L/N, you’re going down.”

Josh hovered over your shoulder like a bug that just wouldn’t go away, muttering discouraging words into your ear, trying to distract you from the task at hand.  You had to admit he was doing a good job, because all you wanted to do was turn around and smack him, but you had to stay focused.  A bag of chips was on the line here.

You took a deep breath and pulled your arm back, nothing but sheer determination in your vision, and you let your paper airplane sail.  You watched as it flew through the air, coasting past the copier and fax machine, past the cluster of desks, past Josh’s airplane resting on the floor, until it hit the door to the break room and finally landed.

“Yes!” you shrieked, throwing your hands up in victory.  “I beat you by like four feet!”

Josh stares, stunned at how you managed to sail your paper airplane all the way across the office, but nonetheless, hands you over a dollar to get your bag of chips from the vending machines.

“You really should stop betting on things with me, I always win—“ you gloat, as you both make your way into the break room.

Josh leans against the vending machine, watching you select your favorite bag from the top row.  “No way, you can’t get rid of me that easily.”

You laugh, shaking your head at Josh’s remark before opening your bag of chips and heading back to your desk.

Josh watches you go, that familiar sinking feeling becoming prevalent in his stomach, just like every other time you walk away.  He takes a deep breath, trying to regain his right state of mind.  He loved the friendship you two shared, but sometimes he needed a minute to contain all the thoughts running through his head, otherwise his undying love for you might just slip out one of these days.

The hardest part of Josh’s day was at five o’clock, when your boyfriend would meet you at the door and walk out to the parking lot with you.  Josh would smile and wave goodbye, pretending like it didn’t burn every fiber of his being watching you lace your fingers with his and smile into his side as you exited the building.  Then, he’d slowly gather his things and head to his own car, wishing you were at his side.

You and Josh had been friends ever since you started working in Columbus two years ago.  Two entire years, and Josh still swears it was the minute you walked in on your first day, a spot of dried toothpaste on your chin, that he fell completely in love with you.

He spent that entire first week getting to know you, and the next planning out ways he could ask you out.  He’d never been more sure that he’d finally met the person he was meant to be with.  His soulmate, if you will.  Josh had been waiting in his car for your gray SUV to pull in one morning.   He planned on exiting at the same time as you, playing it off as a harmless coincidence, and then walking with you up to the third floor.  It was a cold December morning when he saw Lucas for the first time.  Then of course he didn’t know his name.  He knew the man as someone driving you to work, with broad shoulders and a trimmed beard.  He leaned over the center console and planted a kiss right on your lips before making a U-turn and exiting the parking lot.  Josh had let his head drop and made a beeline for the door, trying his best to ignore you calling his name and the gut-wrenching dread he felt.

That was two years ago, and Josh still hadn’t moved on.  How could he when you sat only feet away from him?  Spreading your infectious laugh and always there to make him smile?  No, Josh hadn’t moved on.  Instead, he’d just learned to live with it.  He swallowed his feelings and instead focused on the friendship that you two shared, no matter how much it killed him inside.  It was always about more than friendship, and he knew it from the start. Even though that is what he loved most about you. Falling in love was quick, easy, inevitable. You would talk and laugh and be happy. If life is a series of moments, then it was those innocent instances that defined Josh for the longest time.

But falling also hurt.  You were his everything. And you were his best friend. You told each other everything, but he had to keep his biggest secret hidden from you.  On that first day, even if she didn’t remember it, he could see a future. Your future together. And for that split second he wanted nothing more than to kiss you, to forget about the rest of the world and focus on you. But there were no messing this up. This was you, and it was really just complicated.

Josh sat in his car in the parking lot the next morning eating his breakfast and occasionally warming up his hands in front of the air vents. Just as he was finishing off his bagel, there was a soft knock on his window. It took him half a second to realize it was you; your coat was zipped up to your chin and your beige scarf covered most of your face. Josh quickly got out of his car and you both exchanged hellos in the still-dark parking lot.

“What are you doing here so early?” he asks, shivering a little in the cold winter air.

“Lucas and I kind of had another spat last night and I wanted to get out before he woke up…" you trail off. Josh’s jaw clenches at the mention of his name.  ”What about you?“

“One of my biggest clients is a morning person, if I don’t call him by 8am sharp, his account is as good as closed, so I wanted to get here early and go over his file.”

“So you got here before the sunrise?”

“It’s a big file,” Josh says with a smile.

You chuckle and then looked over to the far end of the parking lot, “Hey, come with me.”

It was one of those commands Josh didn’t have to hear twice. He followed you, his hand in his pockets and his nose buried in his own scarf. You both walked over to the edge of the lot, and you stepped up on the curb, standing on your tip-toes. Josh furrowed his eyebrows.

“Come on, Josh,” you say playfully.

He laughed nervously before following your actions. He faced the direction you were facing and saw that through the fence there was a perfect view of the distance hills on the east side of town. The sky was thick and dark blue and the hills looked outlined with gold. The sun began to peek over the horizon and the buildings of Columbus went from grays to a bright mixture of yellows and oranges.

Josh glanced over at you as you looked at the view, smiling wide, the sun hitting your eyes. Josh could never quite tell, your eyes always looked hazel and sadly dull in the florescent light of the office, but for the first time his saw their true color: a brilliant green with splashes of brown near the center.

“Beautiful, isn’t it?” you asked.

“Yeah, really is,” Josh says, still looking straight at you.

“We should go inside,” you said quietly, noticing his insistent stare from your corner view.  “I’m freezing.”

Josh nods, eyes lingering on the view a moment longer before he trails behind you inside the building.

It’s habit, more than anything else, that has Josh lingering in the break room when he sees the tired lines in your face three days later. It’s instinct, to ask you if you want to talk. To take a seat at the table before he has a chance to consider the implications of what he’s just offered.

Besides, first and foremost, he’s your friend.

More than anything, he wants you to be happy.  And if there’s something he can do to ease the tension in your shoulders, to watch the frustrated crease in your brow fade back into familiar calm, then he will. Of course he will.

Being the one to elicit a smile from you is worth the cost of his own discomfort.

Patiently, he listens to your perspective on the misunderstanding between yourself and Lucas, he tries to detach himself from the situation enough to give you the sort of sincere and thoughtful advice he’d extend to anyone in that position. But he doesn’t want your thanks — your gratitude that much worse because it’s genuine.

Josh had served as the backboard for you since he met you.  He was always around to listen.  Maybe he was imagining it, but it seemed like you and Lucas had been fighting more and more lately.  He hated seeing you upset on a daily basis in the break room and he tried to ignore the sliver of hope he felt inside.

Apparently last night had been bad.  Josh can tell the minute he sees your puffy eyes and quivering lip.

“What happened?” he asks, concern evident in his voice.

You shrug, trying to be brave, but the tears fall anyway.  “He threw a glass at the wall next to me last night.  He was drunk… muttering about how he thought I was cheating on him.”

“Oh my god—“ Josh said, gut dropping as he imagined how scared you must have been in that moment.

“I don’t think he’d ever hurt me or anything.  But I was scared.”

“What’d you do?” he asks, taking the seat at the table across from you.

You curled your hands around your mug of coffee, “I left.  Went to my moms.  I think it’s over.  I mean, it has to be, right?”

Josh wants to blurt out a gigantic yes, but instead he empathetically furrows his brows and nods softly, “I definitely don’t like the idea of you being scared.” And without thinking, he reaches his hand across the table and touches yours softly.

Your eyes shoot down to where your hands touch, all of a sudden you feel so nervous.  You pull back and drag your coffee mug to your chest.

“I should get back to work.”

Josh has a hard time focusing the rest of the day.  It was over.  You said that.  It was over and maybe, just maybe, Josh had a chance here.  He’d be your friend first, of course.  Just like it’d always had been.  He wouldn’t rush you.  But now he had a chance to prove how much you truly meant to him.  He was elated.  Lighter and more hopeful than he’d felt in months.

It all comes crashing down with the sound of the office door opening and closing. Josh’s fists clench at his side the minute he sees Lucas walk through the doors.  He’s ready to get up and ward him off if necessary; the idea of him yelling at you makes his blood boil.  But he watches from his desk instead, as Lucas makes his way to you, gently tapping your shoulder and whispering something in your ear.

Your initial reaction is wide eyes, filled with what is that?  Fear?  It fades quickly, morphs into anger.  Then sympathy.  Josh watches as you grab your coat from the back of your chair and willingly follow him up to reception.  You mutter something to the secretary before continuing out the door without looking back.

“He apologized, and he really was just so sincere.  I think he really meant it.”

Josh nods and takes another swig of coffee, which was lukewarm by now.  He cringes.

“Sounds it,” he says dully.  Not even he can fake enhance the amount of enthusiasm in his voice.

“What’s that?” you ask, offended by his dull tone.

He looks at you and raises an eyebrow.  Disappointment and anger and frustration all boiling under the surface of his skin after seeing you and Lucas kissing in the parking lot again this morning, so he decides for the first time in a long time; to be honest.

“No, it’s just I’ve heard all of this before.  It gets a bit old is all.”

“It gets a bit old?” you repeat, stunned by his response.

“Yeah you and Lucas.  He does something nasty, you break up or contemplate breaking up, then he apologizes with roses or chocolates or what was it this time?  Perfume?  Same story, different version.  Can’t blame me for getting bored with it.”

And then Josh walks straight out of the break room and back to his desk, where there’s a light flashing on his phone.  He presses the button and pulls up a chair to listen to the voicemail.

“Hey Josh, it’s Craig from Corporate.  Meant to catch you before lunch, but I wanted to talk to you about a job opening here in Detroit.  It’d be a promotion for you.  More pay, more duties, all that.  Give me a call back with the details if you’re interested.  Thanks.”

It ended in the parking lot, the blooming seed of happiness that lived deep in his chest was fading, right next to his heart.  It was his best friend, his sole support, the girl of his life who made everything just a little bit better. It was you standing there, your jaw dropping with surprise and Josh with his entire heart and soul on the line.

It was Josh that changed the game. This game of yours, the little dance of just barely something more than friends.  He had nothing left to lose, because he couldn’t do it anymore.  So he gave himself an ultimatum.  Tell her you love her.  Tell her and if she turns you down, you can accept the job.  Tell her you love her.  Tell her and if she loves you back, you can live happily ever after.

The words hang thickly in the air.  “I love you, Y/N.  I’ve loved you since the day I met you.”

You stand still in your spot, eyes watering and eyebrows furrowed with confusion and surprise.  And for a quick second, Josh thinks you might say it back.  But then you drop your clenched fist to your side and you let out a loud, inconvenient sigh and it’s amazing how quick his gut picks up on the rejection.  It drops as you start muttering about how “you can’t” and  “you have a boyfriend.”

“Listen, Josh—“

But that’s all. Because Josh clearly doesn’t want to listen. His hands wrap around you and Lucas has never held you like you’re this precious.  It’s gentle  and firm, warm and large, pulling you softly towards him, gathering you, even as his mouth falls against yours, just as lightly, just a hint of pressure and you feel so small against him, against this unspoken message that he loves you. And it’s powerful.

“Josh—“ you say, finally pulling back.

He freezes, jerks away, his hands still gentle, even as his eyes are screaming, those big brown eyes that love you. “You’re really going to be with him?”

Your ‘yes’ is locked into your throat and tears fill your eyes, but somehow you can’t look away as you destroys your best friend from the inside out. There are a million reasons to stay with Lucas and only one to leave him, because you maybe love Josh, but you maybe don’t love Josh, and it’s that thought that makes you nod.

“Okay.”

You can’t blame him when he walks away, when he holds on to your hands for as long as possible, even as he can’t look you in the eyes. You want him to look at you. You want him to fight for you, but you know that’s unfair to ask him. But you don’t want to lose him and you somehow know you’re going to and you need him to understand, but before you know it… he’s gone.

It’s not as if you’ve never seen his desk without him sitting there, because of course you have. He’s stayed home sick, made occasional use of his vacation days, gone on client calls — you know what the office looks like when the shape of him is missing, it’s the permanence of it that hurts.

As you settle in that first day of Josh’s absence, you hang your coat up and take a seat, You let yourself miss him as a coworker and as a best friend and that’s it. Work will be work, with or without Josh Dun.

But that’s a lie, because of course it hurts like hell.

Each day it’s harder, when it starts to sink in that this doesn’t mean a handful of days out recovering from the flu or visiting his family, but that there is a new and permanent Josh-sized hole in the fabric of you. So you play sudoku to avoid noticing the absence of his voice and

you doodle in notebook margins during conference room meetings to ignore all the jokes he can’t whisper in your ear.

As the day goes on, regret floods deeper within you.  You always knew Josh was your best friend.  But you probably always always knew he was more than that too.  You just wished you’d been brave enough to see that.

That night you break up with Lucas.  This time, there’s no yelling or screaming or wine glasses thrown against the wall.  It’s respectable and understood that they are just not meant to be.  You thought there’d be a Lucas-sized hole inside of you now too, but there’s not.  Instead, it just makes room for Josh’s hole to grow bigger.

It’s twenty past five and you’ve got your coat on and bag in hand when the phone rings.

You debate for a moment about answering it — after all, technically you shouldn’t even still be here.

But, well, you are still there, so it’s equal parts obligation and impulse that has you reaching for the handset and saying, “Hello?” with a slightly tired edge in your tone.

“Uh, hey.”

And — oh, oh.

“Oh my god.”

“Hi.”

“Um… Hi.”

Witty. Clever. Exactly the kind of thing you’d imagined herself saying to Josh when you finally reconnected after too-many-weeks of silence.

“Sorry, I needed a number from Mark.  It’s a co-client thing—”

“Oh.”

“—and I was just gonna leave a voicemail, because I didn’t think anyone would be there.”

It’s hard not to wonder if Josh had been making an open effort to avoid you on purpose, if he’d waited to call until twenty past five because you were supposed to be gone and he’s supposed to get an machine instead.

“Why are you still there?”

“I had to work late.” And then, because that sounds flimsy, goes on. “Well I didn’t have to, but there were just some open files I wanted to finish up.”

“Wow,” he says, the faint tone of amusement in his voice.  “Wow, they’ve really changed you Y/L/N.  Going above and beyond, that’s not you.”

And you’re smiling—because it’s Josh and you aren’t sure your face is capable of behaving any other way around him—but there’s something nervous and careful in the lines of your expression that isn’t usually there. You’ve missed him, but knows that a subtle shift occurred in their relationship that can’t be undone, that things might never be as easy as they once were.

“Everything else is pretty much the same here.” Except—god, no—of course it isn’t.

“Oh…good.”

You change up your previous statement. “A little different.” Because you need him to understand that even though the routines of the office cycle on, no part of that environment could ever be the same to you without him there. Then you ask, “what time is it there?”

“…What time is it here?” He pauses, something uncertain and unsure in his tone. “Um, we’re in the same time zone.”

“Oh, yeah, right.”

“How far apart did you think we were?”

“I don’t know,” you mutter, embarrassed. “It feels really far.” And you can hear his thoughtful, quiet agreement that suggests it’s more than just the miles dividing Columbus and Detroit that’s currently between them.

It took you until the next morning to get your act together.  You were walking into the building, the sun rising across the lot, and you felt it.  A crumpled up piece of paper in your pocket.  You gripped it in your fist before pulling it out, unwrapping the paper and trying to make out the scrubbed words.

You can’t get rid of me that easy.” It was a note from Josh.  One from back before the airplane competition, where they’d bet on how many green M&M’s were in the jar resting on reception.  You’d beat him easily, leaving time to gloat on how he should just give up on betting against you, cause you always won, just like you did every other time you two bet on something.  Josh had left the note on your desk with the soda you’d won.

You could feel the tears surfacing, blurring your vision as you turned in your spot and starting walking all the way back to your car.  You opened the note up again after you’d sat in the driver’s seat, unfolding the paper and running your hands over Josh’s scratchy scrawl and letting yourself feel what was long overdue.  It all floods in at once.  The despair, the guilt, the regret.  But also the love and admiration and memories of laughing, smiling, feeling lighter than ever around him.

You didn’t think twice as you flicked your blinker on to turn onto the highway headed towards Detroit.

The city was so close down the road, you could see the outline of hazy buildings out of the window.  You stared diligently ahead, running through what you were going to exactly say to Josh when the time came.  But before you knew it, you were pulling into the parking lot of the Detroit branch, sliding into the spot beside Josh’s car as an automatic reflex, and you still had no idea what you were doing, what you would say. Yet your feet trudged up to the front door, almost like a little girl who knew that you had to admit to your mother that you’d smashed her favorite vase, because it had to be done, you just weren’t quite ready for the aftermath. There were no obstacles now.  No Lucas or unacknowledged feelings and you were sure that’s what scared you the most. What if, after all this time, Josh had just had enough?  What if you just weren’t meant to be?

You walked right up to reception, waiting until the woman hung up the phone before telling her you were here to see Josh.

“Y/N?” his familiar voice rings through the air and when you look over, you can see him taking off his headset and standing up from his desk.  “What are you doing here?” There’s a hint of curiosity and surprise and maybe even a little excitement in his voice.

You couldn’t tell him here.  You had to go somewhere more private.

“Could we um, talk?” you say quietly, offering him the slightest smile even amidst your nerves.

“Yeah,” he says, “let me just grab my coat—“ he motions back towards his desk with his thumb, where you see his familiar dark blue fabric hanging off from the back of his chair.  You wait patiently with your arms crossed across your chest, bouncing on the backs of your heels.

“All set?” he says, hand buried deep within his pockets.

You walk down to the parking lot in silence, still pondering what you were going to say to Josh in your head.

“How’s Detroit?” you asked after thanking him for holding the door open for you.  You wanted to stall as long as possible.

Josh chuckles, “Common, Y/N.  You didn’t drive three and a half hours to Detroit to ask me how the city is.”

You blush, of course you didn’t.  But you still didn’t know what to say to him.  To Josh.  The man you loved, completely and wholly, with everything inside of you.

You could feel your cheeks growing hot as you thought about what you were about to admit.  You’d had so much courage built up inside of you before, but now, it was quickly draining.  You had to say it before you were completely empty.

“I miss you.”

Your heart’s still thumping like crazy, banging against your ribs, and you’re not entirely sure what you just said.

And Josh didn’t say anything back to you, but it wasn’t like you said all the stuff that you were thinking to him.

“I didn’t mean to hurt you,” you continue, your voice wavering.

Josh shakes his head. “I’m okay.“

You nod. There’s a silence, long enough that you worry you’re not going to be able to say it all and nothing will happen and you’ll go back to being scared and afraid. You want to be someone who says what they feel.

“It’s just— the office isn’t the same and… I miss you.  I miss you a lot, Josh. I miss my best friend.”

“It can’t be that way again, Y/N,” he says. “I wasn’t your best friend. I was in love with you.”

“We could be friends now. Just go back to the way things were—“ you weren’t sure why you were burying your feelings again, but it was instinctual.

"No,” he says. He’s standing so still, arms at his sides.  ”What you miss – that wasn’t friends. That was us… that was me being something more. All the time. And I can’t do that anymore.  It hurt too much.”

You feel kind of sick, but a little voice in the back of your head says you should be grateful for whatever happened, because it was better than being endlessly, endlessly quiet.

“Then I’m really sorry,” you say at last. “Because I miss that.”

“What do you think that means?” he asks, and there’s a little heat in his voice. “What do you think you’re really missing?”

This morning you would have undoubtedly ducked your head and avoided the question, or flat-out lied. Now though, you had driven three and a half hours and you’re standing in front of Josh, far enough away that you have to speak up for him to hear.

“I know what it means,” you say quietly. “And you know.”

He shakes his head, “I don’t. You’ve made it clear you only wanted to be friends.”

“I don’t think I’ve made anything clear,” you say, and for the first time you have the urge to move closer, speak more softly, because this is the hard part, the thing you couldn’t say in front of everyone else. “I should have been honest a long time ago, and I know that, but I couldn’t until I knew what I wanted.”

“Do you?” he asks after a moment, his voice low. “Know?”

You take a big breath, letting the oxygen go to your head, willing back the feeling you had just before you ran up to the third floor. “I want to feel the way I did when I was with you, back before you moved to Detroit.  I don’t want to be lonely, and I want to redo the past two years except it made me figure out a lot of things about myself, so I don’t know. I want stuff to be easy, Josh, and it isn’t, and I thought that maybe if we could be friends again I could have one thing in my life that made me happy, even if it wasn’t what I really wanted.”

He’s quiet for a long time. The wind whips against you, making you shiver.

“Why can’t you say it?” he asks.

“Would anything change if I did?”

“I don’t know, everything changed when I said it.”

“Fuck it,” you say, the cold air filling your lungs, “I love you.  I have loved you but I was with Lucas and I was afraid and I didn’t know it.  And I’m still afraid, but I know it now.”

You stare and wait for his reaction, hoping with everything inside of you that you weren’t too late.  But the look on Josh’s face, the sad, almost pitiful stare, gave you reason to believe that you were.

And your courage drained for good.

“I’m sorry,” you said, wiping a tear falling down your cheek, “I shouldn’t have come.  I’m gonna get going.  It was nice to see you,” you mumble before turning away and heading towards your car.

When Josh saw you turn away, it was as if lightning struck him. All he could see was your back, stiff and tense, walking back towards your car, parked near his, and suddenly he didn’t know what he was doing. He didn’t know how it had come to this. The last several months had turned you both into people he didn’t even recognize anymore, and he blamed himself.

You were all he ever wanted. You were the one he saw in his dreams and imagined in his fantasies for years on end, and he had you. It was supposed to be forever, but all he seemed to do anymore was hurt you. The Josh from six weeks ago would absolutely kill him for that. The Josh from six weeks ago would feel about him like he used to feel about Lucas. Lucas took you for granted, and didn’t consider your feelings.

Like Josh was doing now.

He sprinted toward you, his long legs reaching yours in just a couple of long strides, and he grabbed your arm to turn you around. You had no idea what was happening, but he didn’t stop to explain. He simply wrapped his arms all the way around you, and held you close. You didn’t resist, but you didn’t reciprocate immediately. He pulled you closer. He buried his face in your hair, nuzzled into your neck, and tried to breathe you in. He remembered the electric shock of when you first met (for him, anyway), how it felt to love you and not be able to have you.  He couldn’t let himself let it slip away.

You finally wrapped your arms around him, and he felt a small shudder go through you. You pulled back and he could see your face crumple just before you took his face in both hands and kissed him. When you parted, you were both smiling as said, “I love you” in unison.  He hugged her so tightly he almost picked you up off from the ground.

Can you write something about how Katara asks Zuko do have a staring contest with her and he does and they stare at each other and Katara can't help it and she kisses him then Zuko kisses her back and then they just have a huge make out session instead!

This wasn’t entirely fair.

He technically had only one good eye.

Pride will be your downfall. He could practically hear his uncle saying it.

Pride, this was not. Stubborness…

Zuko couldn’t exactly help it. That infernal, (gorgeous), blue-eyed waterbender caused this, with her batting lashes and little smirks. She had him wrapped around his finger. Everyone knew it…  He wasn’t keen on admitting it.

He knew he should’ve stayed away from the fucking game of truth or dare.

She licked her lips —slowly— Zuko felt his eyes widen, then his gaze flicked back to hers. It was a staring contest. Staring meant her eyes. Not her… fucking hell, if he could blink, he would’ve done so exasperatedly. She had an eyebrow raised now, and she’d caught her bottom lip between her teeth.

Zuko growled, “What are you doing, Kat?”

“Nothing.” She shrugged, not even batting an eyelash. “Why?”

Katara’s mouth turned down into a perfectly parted pout. Her lips were wet. The firelight glistened on them, pulling out hues of red and pink. He thought he could make out her tongue behind her teeth. Briefly, oh so briefly, he wondered what she tasted like.

Sweet, probably.

To his left, Sokka chuckled. He heard coins fall from one hand to another, then Toph hissed very loudly:

Yeah, he’s gonna lose it.”

Zuko almost —almost— snarled at the two of them. Somehow, by the fraction of patience he’d stumbled upon in his life, he kept his focus trained on the waterbender in front of him.

She was smiling. “What will you be losing?”

“Nothing.”

“Are you sure?” Katara leaned forward, resting her palms on his knees.

They’d already been close. She’d insisted on it the second she accepted the dare from Toph. Zuko realized too late that he’d played right into her hands. He couldn’t say, however, that he regretted it— Certainly, not now.

Her nose was one quick lunge away from his. Her eyes were wide, alert, trained on his with every ounce of her focus, which was entirely distracting for him. He wanted to get lost in those deep, blue pools. Not to mention, her breath— it whispered into the mere inches between them, tickled his lips… which seemed to ache for the feel of hers.

Zuko grit his teeth, making every attempt to spit out ‘I’m sure,’ but his body had a mind of its own.

He suddenly didn’t care that Sokka was standing right there, that Toph was practically cheering on this very moment. He surged forward— a hand flew into her hair and his mouth collided with her lips.

Over the roaring in his ears, he heard Sokka clap his hands. Toph shouted. In his mouth, he felt her sigh, felt her relax, felt exactly what he’d hoped for if he ever went through with something like this.

“God!” Sokka’s outburst made them pull back, though a few more pecks, then, longer pecks, were exchanged. “Get a room!”

Katara was smiling, shy and small. Her cheeks burned red. Zuko decided to kiss those, too.

“I think I like you,” he muttered, hot and flustered, but totally elated.

Her grin widened, “I like you, too.”

Hey! Your blog is so great! I love to read it very much. Can I request: MC's new boss is sexualy harassing her. She can't leave her job, because it's very important to her, but don't know what to do and is afraid to ask help of RFA + V + Saeran?

Hope you like it! ^^

TRIGGER WARNING: MENTIONINGS OF ABUSE AND SEXUAL HARASSMENT

RFA + V and Saeran react to MC being sexualy harassed by her boss

Zen

  • You came back from work feeling like shit, even if he was tired himself, he always knew when something was off with you.
  • “How was work, babe?” “Meh, just normal… I’m going to sleep now, ok?” hmmm, not even a smile? Yes, something was definitely wrong
  • He would let you take your time,  so he went to shower, ate something and only then he went to the bedroom
  • Only to find you sobbing from crying, he ran to you. “Babe, what’s wrong?” “Zen, you’re so right… all men are wolves, all men… are…” “Hey, hey… why are you saying that now, MC?”
  • You told him about the new boss, the way he trapped you at your desk when nobody was looking… the way he looked at you, you never felt so ashamed of your own body like you were then… “You’re right, Zen, you’re right! I’m too nice to men, right? I’m the problem, they think I’m sending theses… signs and…”
  • “MC, what are you saying? This isn’t your fault at all! Don’t this to yourself… I… I don’t really think you’re too nice to everybody, you’re just… you, and if people take it on the wrong way, they’re the problem. Your boss is a fucking problem! So where do I find him to fix this problem?”
  • “Oh… oh no, Zen, please. Let’s calm down, I… he’s my superior and I don’t want to lose my job, I like my job, Zen!” “MC, I’m sorry, but I won’t let this happen. What if he does again? With you or with some of your colleagues?” he was right, today was you, who could it be tomorrow? “Okay… what do you suggest?” “I have something in mind, but you’ll have to be brave for this!”
  • Your boyfriend, having women like the biggest part of his fanbase, announced a campain on his Tripter account, asking his fans to write on a paper all the abusive and objectifying things they heard from bosses or male co-workers and post a photo, the hashtag made a huge success and he posted on his own account a photo  of you holding your own paper with what you heard.
  • His fans, being the stalkers they are, soon find out where you worked, they gave bad reviews to the company all over social media and threat boycotting the company, they would take the bad reviews once the guy was fired. And that was exactly what happened.
  • You had no idea his fans could be so supportive to you, and you made sure to thank all of them through a video he also posted. “Zen is an awesome person who wants to make all the women in his life acknowledge their own strength.  Thank you all so much!”

Yoosung

  • He was aware of this new boss being a douch, you would always trash talk the guy when you’d come home.
  • But it was mainly things related to work. But then he heard this: “And you should hear what he talked about my skirt, Yoosung! Really…” “What did he say about your skirt, MC?”
  • “Hum? Oh, something like ‘you keep coming dressed like that and I won’t take responsibility on what I’m going to do with you, foxy’ ugh… such a douch, right?”
  • Douch wasn’t really the word he was thinking, and your bluntness about that was… pretty concerning. “MC, we had a seminar at college about sexual harassment last month, you do realize that what he did to you is a crime, right?”
  • You sighed deeply. “Yes, I’m aware of it. But what can I do? He’s my boss! You know what happens with girls that make a report? They lose their job, some bosses are bad enough to make sure they never find a job on similar companies… it’s fucked up as it is, there’s nothing I can do except trying to be away, and I swear I’m trying, okay? Don’t worry!”
  • But he did worry. How could he not? You wouldn’t be able to keep the guy away forever and… oh, he didn’t even dare to imagine that, just thinking about it made his blood boil.
  • Hell hath no fury like a Yoosung protecting MC! He had to make sure you wouldn’t suffer any retaliation, so he send anonymous reports to the HR’s company telling he knew there was a potential rapist working there, and if they didn’t something about it, he would go to the press.
  • When they apparently didn’t take it seriously, he sent what he knew to some shitty tabloid, who actually accused the guy directly of being a rapist. It didn’t have any credibility, but having the company’s name associated to such a low publication like that… there is such a thing like bad publicity, indeed!
  • The guy was fired after all, Yoosung never told you that he was the responsible for it, and you never told him you knew he did that. It wasn’t really necessary keep talking about this when you’re too busy being happy.

Jaehee

  • She’s a woman too, she knows how to recognize the signs of a girl uncomfortable over something like this
  • The shame after being cat called on the street, the concerning about wearing some clothes thinking how they can be used as an excuse if something happens to you, the embarrassment, the guilty… even if it’s not your fault?
  • Jumin Han had a lot of problems about boundaries when she used to work for him, but he was always respectful and intimidating enough not to let anybody even try something with her, who knew one day she would feel bad that you hadn’t the same luck as her?
  • But you have someone even better! An amazing girlfriend who happens to be a black belt in judo and can teach you some personal defense techniques!
  • And if it wasn’t enough, maybe you should consider changing jobs? “But, Jaehee… what if I’m not good at anything else? At least I’m kinda successful there, I don’t know if I’m good enough to… start all over again…”
  • “And do you think I was 100% sure about leaving C & R and starting my own business? Of course I wasn’t, MC! But I had to take the risk…”
  • “I don’t know if I’m brave as you are, Jaehee…” “Well, a very wise woman told me once that it’s not about money, you have to pursue happiness.” “She sounds kinda naïve…” she giggled “You said that, MC!” “Oh, right… yeah, I’m pretty naïve, maybe that’s why this guy keeps coming to me…”
  • “Stop right there! It’s nothing about you, MC! This man is a jerk! And the way I see it, you are unhappy there, so get out! You’re smart, you’re talented, you will find something that suits you pretty soon.”
  • And a few weeks later, you were starting as a barista at her cafe. And you didn’t have a boss, you had a partner, how cool is that?
  • But you couldn’t stop worrying about other girls that worked there, so you made a formal complaint, endorsed by other women who worked there, most of them secretaries Jaehee kept contact with, she knew this could be useful eventually.

Jumin

  • You didn’t tell him, you were scared because you knew what kind of things he could do.
  • He would, idk, buy the company and make you president of it and the guy your secretary. Yes, this was exactly what he would do! And it would be so weird and senseless…
  • But you couldn’t control the gossip on his own company, he overheard some employees talking about that guy who used to work at C & R and got promoted at the company you were working.
  • He remembered the guy, he had to come to press telling C &R wouldn’t condone with women being disrespected and the guy was withdrawn for undetermined time, Jumin didn’t even know he quit during this time and was  already working somewhere.
  • He didn’t think nothing like this would ever happen to you, but he was curious and casually asked about it. “W-why do you ask?” your voice broke as soon as you opened your mouth.
  • “Nothing in particular… I was just curious, do you know him?” “Yeah, we’re at the same department.” “He is your co-worker, then?” “More like my boss…” Hmmm…
  • “MC, is there something I should know?” “N-no?” “MC…” how did he do that? He was collected and calm, his voice was monotone, he wasn’t doing anything rather than saying your name, yet you felt like he could see right through you…
  • “Jumin, I… I don’t want to talk about it…” you didn’t need to “As you wish, MC.”
  • The next day, you went to work and just saw the guy’s room empty. “Have you heard? He got fired and left the country. They say they found some things about him on his previous job at C & R…” one of your colleagues said, you definitely didn’t want to know what those things were.
  • Jumin made the HR department strict their criteria on hiring, he could never let a guy like this enter at his company again and treat the female employees like that. Oh, he did the same with the new company he bought, the one you worked (but no, he didn’t made you the president, much to your relief)

Saeyoung

  • You’ve been acting weird ever since you came back from work, you were quiet and he could swear he heard you crying in the shower, this was bad…
  • What could it be that bad that you wouldn’t even talk to him? He needed to know, he needed to help you!
  • He knew violating your privacy once more was wrong, but seeing you like this was breaking his heart, so he hacked your phone.
  • And what he found made him almost punch one of his precious computers, those gross texts from that guy along with a dick pic… that was awful!
  • And when he remembered this guy was the one you’ve been talking about, that weird dude who just got promoted. Saeyoung lost it!
  • “Don’t be mad at me, please, but I hacked into your phone and I saw the texts. Why didn’t you tell me?” “I… was afraid and ashamed, how would you react if I told you my boss sent me a photo of his dick?” “I would be pissed at him, not at you!” he hugged you and comforted you “I’ll make him pay!”
  • “No, Saeyoung, NO! I don’t want to lose my job!” “Hey, he won’t know it was you, don’t worry… we have to do something, MC, today it’s just a dick pic, tomorrow he can be much more direct, you know what I mean?” both of you were sick just to think about this…
  • So Saeyoung just sent the conversation to a person in a higher position than the guy, along with a threat: “If you don’t do something about this, I swear I’ll let everybody know about those contracts” and he sent a copy of what else he found.
  • Next day, the guy was fired, and you got his job. Saeyoung swore he had nothing to do with that and he had proof! He showed you the emails your superiors exchanged talking about how you should have been the one promoted at the first place.

Saeran

  • He knew something was off. You were acting as gloomy and distant a… well, himself.
  • He couldn’t ask you, he was afraid he might be invading your personal space or something like this.
  • But this was torturing him, you were coming from work sadder and sadder everyday.
  • So ironically, he invaded your personal space and followed you to work.
  • Only to find your boss touching your hair, his eyes rovering through your body, and what’s more agonizing: your uncomfortable expression.
  • He didn’t even think, he just caught himself over the guy punching him. “Saeran, stop it! Please!” you cried.
  • “Don’t you see she does not like it? Or you actually enjoy she’s not liking it, you fucking creep!?”
  • “Saeran…” your voice took him aback, he promised he would never let you see this side of him again, but just remembering your uncomfortable face made him see red… he tried to calm down.
  • “I’ll tell you what, asshole. If you don’t quit right now, I’ll make sure to erase this company from internet. I want to see what kind of business survives these days if they can’t be found on Google. Don’t think I won’t wreck this just like I did o your gross face!”
  • “Saeran, don’t do that…” “You are smart and competent enough to find another job wherever you please, MC. But I won’t let this guy stay in the same place with you, so It’s his choice…”
  • “Fuck this! You’re not even that hot, and your boyfriend is a freak! I’m out of this!” “Wise choice, and you’re half right on there, buddy. She is that hot, she is the hottest, actually, and yes, I’m a freak! A freak who will fucking whoop your ass if you don’t get the fuck out of here right now!” the dude went away, letting a trail of blood from his face.
  • “I’m sorry if I scared you now, it’s just… I can’t stay still letting someone treat you like this. I hope you don’t lose your job because of me…” “I’ll be fine as long as I have you” and you hugged him, he was so relieved you could not see him blushing right now.

V

  • He overheard a conversation between you and probably one of your co-workers.
  • “Yes, he tried to make a move on me again! Yeah, I keep telling him I have a boyfriend, but he doesn’t care, he said he’s the boss and I got to do what he says! I… I don’t know, but I’m pretty scared right now…”
  • He’s so mad, but in front of you he just smiles bluntly. So you two keep at that, both of you know something is really wrong, and just keep smiling trying not to worry each other.
  • But he won’t stay still knowing something bad can happen to you anytime. However, he’s really smooth.
  • So when he stopped by your work to bring you lunch, everybody liked him, even your boss, who invited him to a drink at his office.
  • “You’re the only man in your department, I suppose…” “Yeah, but it’s not as great as it looks, most of these girls are ugly, and the only decent one is pretty dumb, but hey, these are the best type, right?”
  • “I wouldn’t know, I can’t really see.” “Oh, sorry, dude. But yeah, there’s a girl here who’s very hot, but she plays hard to get, you know? It’s only a matter of time, wait and see.”
  • “I already told you I can’t really see.” His voice was low. “But there’s something here you don’t really need eyes to see. That very hot girl is not into you and she has a boyfriend, and you are a sexist jerk who’ll step away from her and from any other girl who works here if you know what’s best for you.”
  • “Or what?” V moved fast, placing his cane against the guy’s balls “Or else I’ll destroy these, since they are the only thing that you can count on to feel superior. Don’t test me.” And he got out of the office, letting the guy squirm in pain.
  • You never knew what made the guy finally back away, but deep inside you knew it had something to do with that day. He never denied or confirmed either.

i can’t wait until vilde starts figuring out her sexuality and goes to isak for help and he introduces her to even’s 2 moms to show her that she can have exactly the life she wants being exactly who she is!!

OKAY BUT I AM TOO DISTRACTED BY THIS IMAGE TO DO ANYTHING RIGHT NOW.

HE’S SO GOD DAMN SWEET HELP

anonymous asked:

I have a Valentine's Day based idea! sorry if it's stupid lolol Basically viktor has planned a day to show yuuri how many people love him to help him understand that he is valued and to help with his anxiety of not being good enough (cause vday can be platonic too!!) but yuuri wakes up and has other plans ;)) and Eros mode is switched on - viktor wants to tell him it's not the best idea BC people might come in but obvs he can't resist ;)) (you decide whether they're caught or not) <3333

Victor had it all planned out. He really did. He just wanted to show Yuuri how important he was, not only to Victor, but to everyone else in his life. Sometimes Yuuri needed to be reminded that it wasn’t only Victor who got his ‘life and love’ from him. What better day to show him that than on Valentine’s Day. A day of love.

It was supposed to start with a phone-call from Yuuri’s family back home in Japan. They were going to tell him how much they loved him and how much they missed him. And afterwards, Victor was going to give Yuuri a plane ticket home for a long-weekend in a couple months to see them. He wanted to tell Yuuri that his family loved him and missed him.

Then he’d planned for them to take a walk down to the coffeeshop just around the corner with Maccachin where he’d give Yuuri a new collar he’d bought for the poodle. One that had a tag with engraved with: ‘if found, please call Victor and Yuuri at…’. It was supposed to show Yuuri how much a part he was of Victor’s small family.

Phichit was supposed to call Yuuri after coffee. He’d even asked for a specific time so they wouldn’t be caught in the middle of walking or order coffee. He was going to tell Yuuri how much he missed rooming with him - their late night talks. After, Victor was going to show Yuuri the website he’d been looking at for new couches. Big ones that could fold out into a bed, so when (not if) friends came to visit, they could stay with Yuuri and Victor.

After that, (and Victor had allowed extra time because Phichit really liked to talk sometimes), they were supposed to head back home where Yurio was going to visit. He was going to stop by on his way to practice and he was going to actually tell Yuuri how much he’d looked up to him in his youth (Victor had bribed him with the promise of choreography for next season). He was going to going to actually use his words to explain how dear Yuuri was to him. And Victor was going to suggest putting together an exhibition piece with all three of them in honour of their strange family dynamic.

Then they were all supposed to head over to breakfast with Mila, Yurio and Georgi. Victor was going to show Yuuri a video he’d had the triplets back in Hasetsu make with the videos from his phone. He’d already watched it. It was heartwarming. It included scenes of well-wishes from friends at home (Yuuko, Minami, and Minako), and internationally (Guang-hong, Leo, Chris and Phichit, mostly) interspersed with snippets of rink time here in Russia where Yuuri was laughing and skating with his fellow rink-mates.

Everything was supposed to fall into place. He’d planned it perfectly, he was sure. He wanted to make Yuuri’s heart swell with warmth and joy. Give him something to hold onto when his anxiety became too much; something Victor could remind him of when he was feeling particularly unsettled. It was the perfect sentiment for Valentine’s Day: the day of love, no matter the form. He’d planned it so the morning was for friends and family, an Agape love, with the evening reserved for him and a more Eros sentiment.

It was supposed to be perfect. But Yuuri had made plans of his own.

Victor gasps up at Yuuri as he slides his naked body smoothly over Victor’s as soon as their alarm rings.

“Good morning,” he purrs, eyes dilated and aroused. He’s put on his full Eros persona and is giving Victor a show.

“Yuuri-” Victor moans. Half of him wants to push his fiancé off, tell him to get dressed in time for his family’s call. The other half of him wants to see where this is going.

“Shhh,” Yuuri grins, pressing a finger to Victor’s lips. “I have a Valentine’s gift I want to give you.” Victor isn’t going to refuse that. And then Yuuri does something with his mouth that drives any coherent thoughts from his mind

Ten minutes later, when his phone chimes with the call. Yuuri turns on the ‘do not disturb’ function, then throws it behind their pillows somewhere where it’ll be lost for half a day. Victor doesn’t even care. Not when Yuuri’s looking at him that way. Not when Yuuri’s captured his attention so thoroughly.

It’s only two hours later, when Victor’s hands are tied up and out of the way, and he’s in a blissed-out state - Yuuri is gasping above him - does he hear the harsh slide of jingling keys in the lock of their apartment.

“Oh, shit, shit,” He curses, “Yuuri, please, love,” he cries, “we need to-”

“Eyes on me only,” Yuuri demands, grabbing Victor’s chin roughly and pulling his attention back to his lover above him, unaware of what’s about to happen.

Victor hopes dearly Yurio won’t just barge in on them because he’s powerless to stop Yuuri’s Eros right now. Yurio had been reluctant to take the keys to the apartment they’d given him months ago for his very reason - he doesn’t ever want to walk in on them.

“Oiiii,” Yurio calls from the kitchen, “You guys back yet? Lets get this over with. I’m starving. I wanna go for breakfast.”

Yuuri doesn’t even falter in his rhythm, just raising one eyebrow as if to ask Victor ‘breakfast?’.

“Yurio!” Victor calls out in the most even voice he can muster. “Just go ahead to breakfast by yourself! We’ll meet with you there!”

“Huh? Why?” Yurio calls through the door. “I thought you wanted me to confess all that sappy shit to Yuuri. I’m not doing that in public.”

“Sappy shit?” Yuuri asks quietly, but Victor ignores him for a second.

“Please, just-” he tires to explain, but breaks off with a gasp as Yuuri twists one of his nipples.

There’s a pause where Victor’s sure Yurio’s right outside their bedroom door. It takes less than a second for Yurio to realizes what’s happening. “Are you fucking KIDDING ME?” He all-but shrieks. “Oh my god! I’m leaving. And you’re taking your key back at breakfast!” He yells, just before he slams their front door shut.

“I ah, think we should finish up soon here,” Victor says reluctantly, turning his attention back to Yuuri. “We’re supposed to meet for breakfast. Actually, I had this whole romantic morning planned out-” he tries to explain. He’s afraid for a moment that Yuuri will be to embarrassed to continue.

But his lover just smirks. “They can wait.”

B.A.P as Your Lover
  • Yongguk: He'll probably be the sweetest and most gentle lover. He'll often be busy doing his own thing, but he never forgets to write you a good morning message or to give you a good night call. He's really lowkey in his acts of love, but it's these little secrets between just the two of you that makes this relationship the best.
  • Himchan: He's absolutely smitten! His eyes are only on you and he loves being with/around you. He never goes a day without telling you how beautiful you are and how much he loves you. He's a bit mushy gushy, but he can't help it! He only gets this way with you so it's a bit adorable that only you can see this side of him!
  • Daehyun: He has the most selfless love. He's persistent and oh so loving. He always goes out of his way to make sure you're okay and if there is anything you need, you know he'll come through. If you're going through a hard time, you can always trust that he will be there to lift you up and support you always. He will always put you first.
  • Youngjae: He loves your smile and he enjoys making you laugh! Somedays he's so kind to pack your lunch, and he'll always leave a note; something like, "Have a good day! I love you!" And maybe even a poorly drawn stick figure of you two at the bottom of the note. It's these small acts of love that equal to a big fantastic love!
  • Jongup: A hands on kind of love. He enjoys staying in with you to watch a good movie but more importantly he enjoys giving you all the cuddles. He loves holding your hands because your hand fits in his like a puzzle piece and he he loves giving small kisses. He's a bit shy to say "I love you" but he definitely shows it more in his actions.
  • Zelo: He loves doing things out of the ordinary. He'll send you love letters in the mail, even though you see him everyday. He sometimes expresses his feelings with couple items...like couple socks! He'll always send you funny selfies and he'll caption them "okay but when are you gonna be here ☹️. I miss u." He's kinda quirky but you love it!

I have question I hope you can answer. Did Hanyu change the transitions in his free in 4CC from past performances? I have seen analysis of it before and they say that he has the hardest and most varied transitions in H&L but now I find people saying that it was a lot of crossovers and two footed skating because he was trying to land his quads. I can't tell the difference when it comes to transitions, and I hope you can help me understand this . Thank you this wonderful blog, it is a joy to read

Being brutally honest (again :P), I can only suppose those people don’t know what a crossover is nor what is two-foot skating.

If those people is still TSL, it’s not a supposition but just a statement. Really, do not give them your time. They need the buzz of being controversial to try and stay relevant and they need the buzz to pay back those fools giving them any money (:

Now, coming to your question, thankfully there are people who do things and save me time :P so here you are a direct comparison of Hope&Legacy in all its versions up to now from Autumn Classic to 4CC:

It’s pretty evident how the program was way more rich @ 4CC compared to the the start of the season and even comparing it to GPF you can notice some touches more.

Transition wise the biggest thing that was taken out @ 4CC was the last part of his entry to the second axel combo (at GPF, ie, he just goes straight into his 3A, at 4CC he takes a bit more to enter the 4T).

If you want an analysis of this program for what falls under transition, the best one around is still this one: http://chibura.tumblr.com/post/154115680890/transitions-in-mens-free-programs-at-gpf-2016

This is a video of his step sequence explained (this is not directly linked to TR, but it helps to understand the different kind of steps and turns and to check them vs what Yuzu does outside his sequence):

And this a comparison video of everything that is not jumps/spins between Chen and Yuzuru at 4CC:

(And thank you for your compliment :D )
