he is such a perfect character

Thanks again to the lovely @merwild for this beautiful portrait of yet another of my wardens.  I can’t quite get over how pretty he came out.  I mean, he’s supposed to be pretty but DAMN.  His hair looks so soft and the expression on his face is perfect.  :)

I seem to be incapable of creating a character without giving them siblings and other assorted family members.  So have one Warden Illya Tabris, slightly older brother to my previous Warden Commander Nikita Tabris

He is a Dual-Wielding Warrior/ Champion/ Berserker who has the distinction of being my only warden yet to slaughter his way out of Howe’s estate and avoid going to Fort Drakon.  Under no circumstances was he going to let his baby sister suffer the consequences of Vaughn’s actions alone.  (”You’re barely a year older than me!” “Still means you’re the baby of the family sis.”)

As for romance, once he was certain Alistair wasn’t going to hurt his sister, he gently and persistently wooed Zevran.  They’re almost as sappily sweet a couple as Kit and Alistair and neither of them particularly care.

I already knew I liked Shiro but then episode 7 started with the team making bad gun sound effects and he joined in and he made me clutch my heart and whisper “I love hiiiim”

With yall encouragement, I decided to put my heart into working on the ridiculous accurate dinos vs awesomebro dinos story. This is a drawing of the main character, a deinonychus named Blake. He is new to the organisation and is trying his best.

A good egg. A proud egg. A perfect child. I look forward to learning more about him and his story

If you could ask one haikyuu character anything, who would you choose and what would you ask? Btw your blog is amazing ♡

First of all, THANK YOU! <3

Second of all, why would you do this to me? THIS IS SUCH A HARD QUESTION GFHDJGKFD.

“Bokuto-san, why are you so perfect?”

“Bokuto-san, what’s your natural hair colour?”

“Bokuto-san, can I have a hug please?”

Nah, for real though, I might ask Oikawa what he’s going to do now, if he’s going to keep going with volleyball or not? Uhhh I could ask the Little Giant if he knows about the new orange-haired pip-squeak at Karasuno who wears his old jersey? I DON’T KNOW.

How about you guys, if you could ask one Haikyuu character anything, what would it be?

Honestly, I'm fine with su not developing new gems very much, because imo it just shows that there are so many gems on homeworld and not every one has to be a main character- even though im sad about topaz and aquamarine- But it pisses me off that after 4 seasons, Garnet, Amethyst, Lapis, Connie, Ruby, and Sapphire are ridiculously underdeveloped despite being main characters. Hell, even steven could be called somewhat underdeveloped because he's so ~perfect~

^^ !!

They are Olakers Vita they have to be lame ass Olakers Tony is the perfect example of an amazing, caring and loving human being and they fave Scott is nothing but trash. So they have to find a way to hate him. They really can't see a loving father with his daughters? In what kind of environment they grew up? No wonder they stan for an abusive relationship with Joke.

Maybe. I really don’t have any explanation.. And I really don’t get how you can hate Tony. He is just great. I would somehow get you don’t like Fitz the character if you are just unable to get him, but Tony?..

Obviously, this show is historical fiction that has York propaganda. This show is conveying to us a message that it's the Tudors' fault of why the Yorks met with a terrible fate. The Yorks made their own downfall. How? Richard III usurped the throne from his nephew, the legit heir, and had him and his brother locked in the Tower. He was even unpopular. The yorks even went into two factions – sided with Edward V while the others with Richard III. But the show just keeps on slandering Henry VII.

it is indeed annoying. i understand why some people on twitter are like I PREFER RICHARD! HE IS THE TRUE KING!! well… of course you prefer him: Henry is depicted as a douch with inconsistent character and a feeble mind, while Richard is strong & beautiful *sigh*

I think i hate Scott's and all that true alpha bullshit so much is throughout so much of the tw series and even some parts of the fandom hated on Derek so much. Yes, Derek is older (notbymuchhonestly) and a born wolf but he went through SO MUCH and lost almost his whole family. Everybody felt the need to say shit about him even after he did his best to keep them safe where Scott gets lucky, honestly. Lets not forget the fact Scott forced derek to bite Gerard. I' not saying Derek is perfect but..

Derek ended up having a more cohesive hero journey than Scott is having. He’s introduced as a shady character with a tragic past. He becomes alpha. He fucks up. People die because of him. He gives away his alpha power to save his sister’s life, and then suddenly he’s able to do a full shift. That’s a hero’s journey. He makes mistakes and he redeems himself.

Scott hasn’t done that yet. Scott was made True Alpha…and then what? He didn’t do anything to earn that status as far as anyone can tell. At that point he certainly hadn’t sacrificed anything more than anyone else.

I think Season 5 was an attempt to remedy that, but it was only partially successful. We saw Scott hit rock bottom and rise up again, sure, but we haven’t really seen any evidence that it’s changed him. And it should have changed him. Except in Season 6 he’s still running reactive instead of proactive. He hasn’t learned, and that’s the fault of the writers for not giving him a decent character arc.

Derek was a traditional hero. Scott isn’t, yet.

Hi, Krysy! For the ask game for writers: 5-10 [sent by punexpectedly]

Hey Charlene  :)~

5. Books or authors that influenced your style the most.

Probably some of my favorite authors; Sherrilyn Kenyon, Sophia Kinglsey, maybe a little of Mitch Albom. Mmm I can’t think of anyone else, most of my energy is too busy t fighting off mosquitoes.

6. Favorite character you ever created.

Aidan Clark. My first hero from my first serious attempt at writing a novel that is just sitting in my files waiting for me. He’s a time-travelling kid that exudes a penchant of socially awkwardness, unintentionally funny and has the inability to express his real feelings. He’s also the first main character I’ve written strictly all the way through as male.

7. Favorite author.

Sherrilyn Kenyon! I love her style! Even though she mostly writes romances; she’s so great at creating nearly perfect characters - with all their flaws and usually tragic backstories. Her words inspire and captivate me :’).

8. Favorite trope to write.

Probably something to do with writing a character with a tragic backstory that’s got a major chip on their shoulder. Then said character finding someone that makes them look at the world differently - they’re smitten. They don’t really change each other but rather they fit together like “little pieces of a jigsaw puzzle.

9. Least favorite trope to write.

Any trope that forces someone to change. Actually - I’m thinking of something that someone else mentioned. A goody two shoes falling for a bad boy and thinking I can change him. Makes me want to roll my eyes to the ceiling and have them fall out of my face.

10. Pick a writer to co-write a book with and tell us what you’d write about.

I’ve already answered this one - but I’m adding @annyvil and @mermaidwarriorqueen to the list - instead of being super shy and not adding it lol. What I’ve seen from them - I’ve really enjoyed and I think if they’d like - we could work on a magically beautiful jake x mc endless summer fic ;).

Thanks for the asks Charlene :’) @punexpectedly

Please don't say you're not interesting, and I'm sorry to hear that... But I'm glad SnK helped you with that. And we're the same, back when I was still following SnK I wasn't really fond with Levi, I was even confused as why everyone is drooling on him. But recently, which is last year, my perspective of him changed and it was he who I found the perfect person for my Mikasa. And yes yes, please do post that get to know thingy, you're one of the greatest blogger I like and I would love to know,

Oh my, you’re so sweet anon!  To be honest I never liked the “popular” characters , but hell he turned all the tables around XD I understand what you say, I used to think Eren was the only one perfect for her but I changed my mind after getting to know him better  too.
And come chat with me anytime you want! Don’t be shy, I don’t bite!

Things I really loved about Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 2 in earnest

1. Yondu’s “I’m Mary Poppins y'all!” after Peter says he’s cool. Because yes, it’s a hilarious line, but it’s also such a DAD thing. Like, who can’t say that their dad wouldn’t be so proud to be considered cool by their son and it’s so unexpectedly sweet because of it.

2. The fact that Baby Groot cries like an actual baby once. Because it’s like it’s stabbing you in the heart, but it’s so effective because you really forget that he really is a baby with all the things he can do until then, and that brings you right back.

3. The symmetry in Yondu’s redemption. Yondu is damned because he brings Ego’s children to Ego and his planet to be sacrificed, and he’s redeemed by sacrificing himself to save Ego’s child (who really is HIS child) and bring him away from Ego’s planet.

4. Drax’s interaction with Mantis, especially him holding her while he drowns in Ego’s planet. Because Drax is like this big murderous comic relief character, but his screen time with Mantis was this lovely way to remind the audience that Drax has this soft side and this tragic past without shoving it in your face. Drax might laugh at your pain, but he’d also try to save you even as he was drowning, and it’s a perfect way to frame his character.

5. Ego’s “For the first time, I am truly not ALONE!” and his alieness in general. Because don’t get me wrong, Ego is absolutely a non redeemable wonky bonkers genocidal jerk off, but he’s got this great alien quality to him that I feel this series really needed. It’s not in how he looks, but his motives and how he acts. Ego is a millennia old being; a god in a world of mortals. His view point of the world and his actions are so very true to that idea that we almost can’t relate because no one can imagine what it must be like to be that old or that powerful. But when he yells that one line out, we really get it. Ego, for all his power, is just like us; he just doesn’t want to be alone. Coupled with his god like alien superiority, his ego - get it? ;) - he sees the expansion as the way to answer that feeling. If everything is him, after all, then he can’t be alone, see? What makes him a great villain is that he actually had the real answer all along - love, family - but he chose to destroy it because he felt it was beneath him; because of his subconscious disgust at his own desire to be “just like the rest of them.”

6. Nebula’s “You wanted to win and I just wanted a sister!” And how it turns the tables on how we view her relationship with Gamora. Because Nebula is clearly set up to be the ‘bad sister’ to Gamora’s ‘good sister’ and that one line really throws that on its head and shows that neither one of them are good or bad. I also love how it’s Gamora that ends up apologizing to Nebula, after everything, and Gamora who finally returns Nebula’s offer of sisterhood after all of those years.

7. “You shouldn’t have killed my mom and squished my Walkman!” Like, this line right here; the essence of Peter Quill in 10 words. Perfection.

8. The batteries as they relate to the parallel of Yondu’s and Rocket. Because them as a parallel is basically smashed over our heads, but I liked the subtle batteries parallel in that Rocket steals batteries he doesn’t need and Yondu steals Peter, who is used as a battery by Ego. It’s just a little thing but I found it really neat.

9. Rocket’s “I can only afford to lose one friend today,” line and how although it’s clearly framed to be about Peter, it’s also possibly about Yondu. Because no matter what, Rocket is losing a friend and it’s a great line to add to his character development from a guy who started trying to push his friends away to a guy who can’t lose them.

10. The contrast between how Peter reacts to the death of Ego and Yondu. He holds both as they die but he’s just silent and unaffected by Ego and he’s distraught and trying desperately to save Yondu, trying to pull off the suit to give to Yondu and save him instead. Can you say tears?

11. Don’t even talk to me about the Ravager funeral.

12. That the movie really was truly about family. Drax and his family and Mantis, Gamora and Nebula, Rocket and the Guardians, everyone parenting Groot and Peter realizing that the dad he’d wanted all along was actually the one he’d had. Often these superhero movies pull the “we’re family” card and it doesn’t feel earned, but man it does in this one. This movie is like Marvel’s “The Fast and The Furious IN SPACE” and it’s just great.
