It was late Friday night when you got the phone call. Josh had gone out with some friends to celebrate him being back in LA. You were equally excited to be back home and have a bit of a break, but you chose to stay home and enjoy doing absolutely nothing for the first time in months. You and Josh had spent all of last week in Jamaica, holed up in a luxury hotel to have a nice vacation together, so you didn’t even bat an eye when Josh told you that he was meeting some of his friends. You simply kissed him and sent him on his way.
It had been two or three hours since Josh had left when your phone rang. Laura’s name popped up, along with a picture of her, Josh and you from Ashley’s wedding.
“Hi Laura,” you answered.
“Y/N?” She asked, voice broken and sounding almost hysterical.
“Laura? What’s wrong?” you asked, trying to make out what she was sobbing through the phone.
“It’s Josh,” she cried, and your heart instantly dropped down to the pit of your stomach.
“Mom—,” you heard either Ashley or Abigail say before there was shuffling on the other line.
“Hello?” you asked, becoming frantic.
“Y/N,” Ashley’s voice came through the phone, you could tell she’d been crying too, but she was more put together than her mother.
“Ashley, what the hell’s going on? You guys are scaring the shit out of me. What about Josh?” you asked.
“They won’t tell us much over the phone. He was in an accident, and they called mom. They said he’s in a bad state, but they won’t say much else until we get there. Dad’s driving us to the airport, but it’ll be a while before we get a flight. Mom told them your name so they’ll release information to you when you get there. They took him to The Southside Kindred Hospital, but you’ve got to get there so you can figure out what’s going on. We’re all a bit in hysterics,” she said, voice rough with tears.
“Oh my god—,” you said, running around the house trying to collect your shoes and a jacket, before grabbing your wallet and keys. “Is he okay, Ash?” you asked on your way out the door. You hurried into your car before speeding down the street.
“We don’t even know,” Ashley sounded frustrated. “Just call us when you get there and they’ve told you what’s going on. Get there quickly, please. But drive safe because Josh being in the hospital is enough.”
“Of course, Ashley. I’ll call you as soon as I know what’s going on. Love you guys,” you said, knuckles whitening as you clutched the steering wheel.
Your mind was in a thousand different places at once the entire drive to the hospital, but when you got there, you parked quickly before practically sprinting inside the emergency room and over to the receptionist seated behind a desk.
“Can I help you?” She asks.
You look around frantically, “My name’s Y/F/N,” you blurt out. “Josh Dun— was brought here.. or I mean I got a phone call from his mom and sister saying he’d been in a car accident and he was here or that he’d be here.”
“What’s your relation to him?” She asked, typing away on the computer.
“He’s my boyfriend,” you say.
“Right, okay. He hasn’t arrived yet” she says, looking up at you from her screen. The ambulance estimated arrival time to be 11:20, so it should be any minute now. If you’d like to have a seat—“ she motions towards the waiting room, mostly emptied tonight.
You paced around the room instead, looking out the window, just to give yourself something to do, until you heard the bustling sound of the emergency room doors being shoved open.
“We need IV fluids stat—“
“I need to get this leg stabilized—“
“Not until we take care of that laceration!”
It’s almost like the whole thing happens in slow motion, because you’re able to pay attention to every single detail being flown through the doors. There’s three EMT’s, all dressed in dark pants and a blue collar shirt. Then there’s someone dressed in scrubs with a wind-breaker looking poncho on. They’re all looking rather frazzled, muttering medical terms that you don’t quite understand. And then there’s Josh. You don’t get a perfect view of him, since everyone else is hovering over his body, but it’s enough. He’s unconscious, his eyes closed peacefully, almost like he was sleeping. Then you notice the blood gushing out of his temple, dripping into his eccentric yellow hair, almost making it look like the ruby color he had last summer again.
You have to cover your mouth and bite down on the cloth of your sweatshirt to keep from screaming.
They keep pushing him along in the stretcher. Two nurses hold open some double doors and before you know it, he’s being pushed away, out of your sight again. You run after them all, not wanting to be left in the dark. Josh needed you.
“Ma’am, you can’t go in there!” A nurse says, holding you back. You push against him, trying to slip by, but it’s no use. You’re hysterical and much too weak, so you let yourself all but collapse into the arms of this man instead.
“Where are they taking him?!” you say, a blubbery mess.
“Our doctors are gonna take good care of him—“ he assures you as he helps you walk back to the waiting room. You fall into the seat, curling your knees up into your chest and wounding your arms around yourself, just trying to hold it together.
It takes thirty three minutes for a doctor to come into the waiting room to find you. He’s got a scrub cap and gloves on, which he removes as he walks your way.
“Can I see him?” you blurt out, your eyes full of hope.
“You’re Y/N?” he asks. You nod back quickly. “Not right now, Y/N. He was in a very bad accident. It’s my understanding that the police will be in here shortly to tell you of the details of that, but I’m here to tell you about his medical condition. He’s in ICU now; we’ve got him stabilized. He is in serious condition though; the next few hours are crucial. His right leg is shattered, his arm is broken, too and he has several cuts and bruises; one on the right side of his head. It was cut by glass, he has twelve stitches right now. That injury may or may not have caused some trauma which could then potentially lead to some temporary memory loss or amnesia. But what we’re very worried about, is the internal damage. His entire body was bruised, and there was some internal bleeding in his lungs, which is not a good sign. They’re going to prep him for surgery now, to drain the fluids. After we open him up, we’ll know the extent of the damage,” he pauses, staring down at the scrub cap he has in his hands, before taking a deep breath, “I don’t know if you’re a religious woman, Ms. Y/L/N but if you are, I would start saying some prayers. He’s not out of the woods yet. I’m sorry that I can’t give you better news, but as I said, it was a very bad accident and it’s very serious. But I will personally keep you updated, especially after his surgery,” the man finishes, patting you on the shoulder before he walked out and softly closed the door.
You stare ahead, stunned by everything the doctor said. It was so much worse than you thought. Josh’s life was still in danger, and the doctor was worried he might not make it. Tears spilled out of your eyes as you stood up and started walking around the room, your hands finding your hair so you could give it a little tug, hoping the pull would relieve some of the fear flooding through you. You wiped your tears away and tried to clear your throat so that you didn’t sound like the complete wreck that you felt like as you began dialing Ashley’s number.
“Y/N?” She answered right away. “How is he? Have you seen him yet?”
“I saw him coming in—” you said, the tears began stinging your eyes again. “But not since they took him back.”
“What did the doctor say?” she asked.
“It’s bad Ashley. His leg and arm are broken and he’s got a cut on the side of his head but he’s in ICU and they’re prepping him for surgery because it’s really bad, like internally I guess. There’s blood in his lungs and they said he was stabilized but they don’t know what’s going on inside of his body,” you said, giving up on holding the tears back. “The doctor said we might want to start praying and it’s just really bad and I can’t fucking breathe in this waiting room they put me in. I can’t see him Ashley. I can’t go see him and he’s not okay.”
“Y/N, fuck, please breathe,” she says. Her voice was thick with emotion but it didn’t sound like she was crying. “He’s at one of the best hospitals in the state. They’re going to do everything they can. I’m sorry you’re there alone but we’re catching a flight out soon and we’ll be there in a few hours. I called Tyler and Jenna, they’re coming too.”
“Okay,” you say, forcing yourself to breathe properly. “Call me when you guys get in.”
“Good. Just stay there. Josh needs you to be strong. We’ll be there soon,” She promised.
“Get here safe,” you say, “Love you guys.”
“We love you,” Ashley says before hanging up.
You scroll through your phone, wondering if you should call anyone. You desperately wanted someone to be here with you, but everyone you considered calling either already knew, or was all the way back in Ohio. You locked your phone and stuffed it back in your pocket, rendering the whole thing pointless.
It takes Josh’s family over five hours to get to you. In that time, you’ve been visited by the doctor twice, telling you that Josh was still in surgery, but that he was stable and they were doing the best they could. You’d also been to the bathroom twice to throw up, and bitten your nails down to the skin.
Tyler and Jenna arrive first. They run through the double doors, hand-in-hand, both with exhausted, but concerned looking faces.
“Oh my god—“ Jenna says when she sees you. They both rush over, engulfing you in a hug. You cling to them, crying into one of their shoulders.
“We got here first. There was a flight leaving that had two empty seats. We told Laura to go, but she refused to leave Ash, Jordan, or Abigail. What the hell happened?” Tyler says.
“Fuck if I know! He was in a car accident and they said the police would come in and tell me about that, which they haven’t. I swear to God if he drove while he was drunk I’m gonna-”
“Y/N,” Tyler cuts you off. “Calm down. Breathe.”
You stopped talking and focused on Jenna rubbing your back as you counted your breaths.
“This isn’t real..” you say, as you lean your head on Jenna’s shoulder. “Tell me he’s going to be okay, Ty.”
Tyler sighs, “Josh’s been a fighter since the day both of us have met him. He’s always fought for what he’s cared about. Music. The band. You. He’s not about to give up that easily. He’s gonna fight through this.”
You let out a broken sob as you used the sleeves of your shirt to wipe tears away. Then you all sat there in silence for a while after that.
Only a couple of minutes passed when two policemen walked in, looking around the room sadly. “Which one of you is Y/F/N?” One of them asked, looking at you like he already knew.
“Me,” you croaked out, sitting upright on the seat.
“We’re just here to tell you about the accident,” The other said.
“Okay,” you nodded.
“A few witnesses all gave the same story. But uh Mr. Dun was driving when a car suddenly swerved across the center line and hit him head on. The airbags deployed and the cars were spinning until Mr. Dun’s car hit the barrier. The driver of the other car was intoxicated above legal limit, and died at the scene. Mr. Dun was stuck in his car, which was pressed against the barrier, so it took a while for paramedics to get him out. He was unconscious when they arrived, witnesses said he was unconscious when they ran over there.” The first policeman said. “We’ve just printed off the pictures of the cars and the damage. These copies are yours.”
You reached out and took the papers, waiting until the police left before he looked at them. “Oh my god,” you gasped as you almost fell back on to the couch. Tyler helped you sit down before they looked at the pictures. Josh’s car was completely demolished. It looked like a pile of black and gray scrap metal. And you weren’t particularly religious, but you said another silent prayer thanking whatever higher power that Josh even made it out alive, while simultaneously begging for him to make it through the night.
You looked at the clock again, and was about to make some comment under your breath about how long this surgery was taking before the door opened and the same doctor walked in again. You stood up immediately, walking to the doctor. “Well?”
He looked around at the new faces in the room before continuing, “The impact of the collision physically caused a broken rib to puncture a lung. We are in the process of emptying his lungs of any fluid that’s making it hard to breathe. He’s still stable, though, which is good. He can’t breathe on his own, so he’s got a breathing tube. Tonight is going to be a big one, and the next few days will decide a lot, but we’re hopeful. His body is going through a lot, trying to heal itself. It’s up to him now and he has to fight to get better.”
“So that’s all you can do?” You asked, not sure if you should be relieved or not.
“For now. We’ll keep doing what we can for him.”
Dr. Wells nodded. “We put him in a medically induced coma, the body heals best that way, and it lets him sleep through the worst of the pain. As of now, we plan to have him in the coma for a week, but we will keep you updated. You should be able to go in and visit him soon.”
“Okay,” you nodded, not sure of what else to do or ask.
“I’ll come get you when you can visit him,” he promised.
You thanked the doctor before going back and sitting down, pulling out your phone to call Ashley. You were just ready to ring her again, when her name popped up on your phone, “Just getting ready to call you,” you answered.
“We’re heading over now,” she said. “Is he okay?”
“He’s stable,” you said.
“Okay,” Ashley said, “See you in a few.”
You nearly dropped your phone when Laura and Ashley walk through the doors. You sprint over and wrap your arms around the both of them, letting them hold you tight. The rest of Josh’s family filter in behind them, all with tear stained faces and tired eyes.
“What’s going on?” Laura said, wiping her eyes.
Just then, the doctor reemerges. “Ah, family I presume?”
“I’m his mother,” Laura says, outstretching her arm. “How is he?”
“We’ve set his broken bones and put casts on, and we’re monitoring him carefully. He’s been stabilized, but you can go see him now,” Dr. Wells said. “Not all of you at once though, please. Just three of you for now.”
Laura nodded. “Y/N and Ash, come with me for now.”
“Laura,” you say, shaking your head, looking at Josh’s dad.
“Go ahead, son,” he says. “I’ll be in to see him soon.”
You nodded, following the doctor, “I just want to warn you, he’s pretty beat up,” he says before he opened the door to Josh’s room, letting the three of you in before he left. You stood frozen at the foot of the bed. Josh looked more than beaten and bruised; he was hooked up to machines and he had an IV running into his arm. The right side of his head was shaved down to the skin where there was a nasty looking cut just above his ear that stretched around the side of his head.
You heard Ashley and Laura whispering quietly to Josh, but you couldn’t make out what they were saying. You felt like you weren’t really here, almost like you were just watching a tragic movie play out, but you were brought back to reality when you forced yourself to understand that this was Josh lying in the hospital bed, fighting for his life right now.
Laura walked over and kissed your forehead. “We’ll give you a minute, then send the others in,” she said.
You nodded as they walked out the door and immediately you went to sit in the chair at Josh’s side. “Hi, love,” you said, voice thick with emotion as you entwined your fingers with Josh’s. “Wow, I hate seeing you like this.” you thought about what you wanted to say, although you were pretty sure Josh couldn’t hear you anyway. “You’ve got me so worried, baby. Your mum and dad, Ashley and Abigail, Jordan, Tyler and Jenna. They’re all here, everyone’s so worried about you, babe. We love you so much. I love you so much, Josh, you’ve got to get better, okay? I want you to fight harder than you ever have before,” you said, looking down to where your tears were falling on Josh’s bed. “You’ve got to get better and pull through, okay? For me. I need you.”
You sat there for another minute, letting yourself cry and hold Josh’s hand. Y
When you walked back to the room, you sent the others in before sitting, curled up on a seta, not looking at anyone else. You sat there for a while with your head on your knees, thinking about Josh and how much you loved him, and how completely fucked your life would be if Josh wasn’t in it anymore.
You only look up after feeling someone’s soft touch on your shoulder. “Why don’t you head home, love?” It’s Laura. “You need rest.”
You immediately shake your head. “I’m going to sleep shitty no matter where I am, I might as well be here.”
Laura nods before sighing. “We rented a hotel nearby,” she says, looking reluctant to leave. “We’ll be back in a few hours,” she says.
Once they’re gone and Tyler and Jenna emerge from Josh’s room, you head back in, taking the chair near his bed. “I love you. I love you so much,” you sighed, letting the steady beeping of Josh’s heart monitor lull you to sleep.
When you wake up, it was to a sore neck, the fast beeping of the heart monitor and the door to Josh’s room being thrown open quickly. “You need to leave,” A nurse says as she practically pulled you from the chair and a flood of doctors ran in.
“No, what’s going on,” you asked, suddenly very alert as you saw electric shock paddles.
“You need to go,” The nurse says.
You heard the fast beeping of the heart monitor suddenly turn to a long, steady, beep. “No!” you scream. “Josh, no!” You push past his nurse before another pulled on your arms. “Don’t you fucking leave!” you yelled. “Josh please, wake up!” The nurses dragged you out just as the doctor ripped Josh’s dressing gown open and placed the paddles on his chest.
You were hyperventilating as you felt strong, somewhat familiar arms around you instead of the nurses. “Y/N,” You heard Tyler say.
“Ty, no,” You cried. “He can’t.”
“No, no, no no no no, fuck no,” you sobbed, collapsing into Tyler’s arms further, “I can’t breathe. He has to be okay!”
All you could think about was Josh, and no, Josh couldn’t be gone. You clutched yourself around the middle, trying to put some sort of pressure on your body to hold it together. But it was too hard, so you let Tyler hold you instead while you sobbed into the fabric of his sweatshirt.
It wasn’t until a nurse walked in that you could breathe again.
“We got him back,” she says, sighing a breath of relief.
You gasped as you felt air fill your lungs for what felt like the first time in hours. “He’s okay?”
“He’s stable again,” she says.
“Can I see him?”
“You need rest—“ Tyler interjected.
“I need to see him!” you argue. “I need to call Laura—“
“What and wake her up too? You all need rest.”
You finally gave in and rested your head in Jenna’s lap as Tyler threw a blanket over you. You listened to the quiet noise of the TV playing and fell asleep again to Jenna running her fingers through your hair.
The next time you wake up, it was more peaceful. Jenna was whispering to Tyler about something you couldn’t bring yourself to care about. You stretched and sat up, rubbing the sleep from your eyes as you looked around. Jordan and Ashley were sitting in one of the chairs on their phones. Abigail was sitting next to her dad on the couch and Laura was by the water cooler.
The doctor walks through the double doors just then, causing you to become more alert. “Josh’s been improving significantly since he flat lined this morning. He’ll still be in the induced coma for the next few days, but if he keeps improving at this rate, he should be awake after that. You’re more than welcome to still come visit him, as long as you listen to the nurses,” he said giving you a look. “I will keep you updated, but just know he’ll still be out for a few days.”
They all nodded and thanked the doctor.
The next few days passed faster than you would’ve thought. Josh was slowly but steadily healing, and the doctor finally tells them that he thinks Josh would make a full recovery. You nearly melted with relief. You couldn’t help the nagging in your head that said even if he physically recovered, he still might have head trauma and memory loss.
Josh was starting to look better, much to your relief. His smaller cuts were healing, and the color was starting to come back to his face.
One week after his accident, you, Laura and Jordan were in Josh’s room as the doctor took out the breathing tube, and you all let out a sigh of relief when Josh started breathing on his own.
“We’ve stopped the medicine that’s keeping him in a coma,” the nurse says. “It could take anywhere for a few hours to a few days for him to completely wake up though. This is all up to him now. When his body is ready to wake up, it will. I know this is a hard time to be patient, but I don’t want you to get discouraged if he doesn’t wake up today, okay?”
All three of them nodded.
“Alright, Josh,” Jordan says. “You’ve kept us here for the longest week of our lives. Time to wake up now, bro.”
Josh didn’t wake up the first day, like you’d hoped he would.
You tried not to worry when Josh didn’t wake up the second day either.
By the time it got to the forth day they’d taken Josh off the medicine, you began panicking. “You can’t do anything?” You asked the doctor for what had to have been the thousandth time.
“He’s still recovering and his body is exhausted,” he says, “Give him time.”
You started losing track of the days and time, seeing as you didn’t leave the hospital for two weeks. When you woke up one day, you blinked and looked around to see that the sun had set, but it was still fairly light outside. The room was quiet, except for Josh’s heart monitor. You looked to the clock to see that you’d only been asleep for a couple of hours, but it was still early evening. You rubbed your eyes before you felt the same thing that woke you up in the first place: a slight pressure on your hand that was laced with Josh’s.
“Josh?” you asked, jumping up and sitting on the edge of the bed running your free hand through Josh’s messy hair. “Love, can you hear me?” you tried not to get too excited, but you knew that you hadn’t imagined Josh squeezing it. “Babe, if you can hear me, can you please try to squeeze my hand again?”
You waited and felt the slightest pressure on your hand again. Your eyes filled with tears of relief. You reached up to press the red button to call a nurse in, before you turned your attention back to Josh. “Are you waking up, love?” you asked. Josh squeezed your hand again. “Josh,” you sighed, cupping the side of his face. “Can you find your voice, baby?”
Josh sighed and you saw movement underneath his eyelids, but he kept his them shut as he squeezed your hand again, but for longer. “That’s okay,” you said quietly, afraid of being too loud. The nurse walked in, eyes wide as she looked at Josh and you. “He’s waking up,” you smiled.
She grinned at him. “I’ll go get Dr. Cochran.”
“Do you know who I am, love?” you asked, the question burning in his head. “It’s me, it’s Y/N.”
Josh squeezed your hand again and he made a small noise in the back of his throat that you thought sounded almost offended. You loved that it sounded crazy for Josh not to know who you were.
“He’s waking up?” Dr. Cochran asked.
“Yeah,” you smiled.
“Wonderful. I need you to step back for a few minutes,” Dr. Cochran says.
You hesitate and Josh squeezes your hand tighter than he had yet, but you pressed a kiss to his forehead. “Not going anywhere far. I’m right here.”
“She hasn’t left your side yet, Josh,” Dr. Cochran says. “Don’t think I could get her to leave now.”
Dr. Cochran and the nurse continued asking Josh questions, progressing to see if Josh could feel his feet, arms, legs, chest, hips. Yes, yes, yes. He could feel it all. “We’re going to turn all of the lights off, except for the lamp in the corner, okay Josh? It’s not too bright in here, it wont hurt your eyes. I know your eyelids feel heavy now, and I know you’re exhausted, but can you please try to open your eyes?”
You watched, with his heart pounding heavily as Josh’s eyes fluttered, but his eyelids stayed closed.
“I need you to try a little harder for me, Josh,” Dr. Wells said.
Josh let out a quiet, yet disgruntled sigh as his eyes moved rapidly under his lids. Dr. Cochran looked at you, then looked pointedly at Josh, nodding his head once.
You nodded before going and sitting on the bed next to Josh. You took his hand in yours again, “Hey love, it’s me,” you said quietly. “Been waiting here for an awful long time to see you awake again. I miss you. I miss your eyes. Can you open up for me? Just for a bit, then you can go back to sleep.”
Josh’s eyes fluttered again, then finally opened and you let out the biggest sigh of relief. Josh let out a soft grunt, then let his eyes close again, blinking them slowly before he opened them again.
“I’m right here, baby,” you said softly, waiting for Josh’s glazed eyes to focus on you.
“You’ve been on a breathing tube, which is why your throat is sore. Don’t try to talk yet if it hurts too much. I’m very glad to see you awake, Josh. A lot of people will be glad. You can sleep now, we’ll do some more tests when you wake up again.”
Dr. Cochran and the nurse left, and Josh’s eyes started drooping immediately. “Your family are here, Josh, I’m sorry they’re not in here right now. They’ll be in here when you wake up again.”
Josh squeezed your hand tightly as his eyes closed and his breathing evened out.
“I’ll be here too, promise.”
The next time Josh woke up was the next morning; Laura was by his side while you sat on the windowsill. The doctor ran some more tests and Josh cleared his throat once before he decided he needed to sleep again.
Josh didn’t wake up again until the next night. You were sitting next to Josh when he stretched out his fingers and you looked up to see Josh looking at you with a small smile on his face. You took his hand immediately and smiled.
“Hi,” you smiled.
Josh cleared his throat and looked over to the small side table.
“Water?” you asked.
“Don’t talk if it hurts too much,” you warned.
Josh shook his head. “Throat feels a little better,” he says. His voice was rough and scratchy, so quiet that you had to strain yourself to listen carefully, but Josh was talking.
You sighed in relief. “Good. You still look out of it.”
“How?” Josh asked.
You smiled. “You just look exhausted.”
“I’m so tired,” he sighed.
You kissed his forehead, “Go back to sleep, baby. I love you so much. Gonna be right here when you wake up.”
“Love you,” Josh sighed before he fell asleep again.
It took three more days for Josh to be awake longer than fifteen minutes, and for his eyes to clear up. By that point, the anesthesia had completely worn off, and Josh was looking much better.
Everyone visited constantly throughout the day. Tyler and Jenna were in and out and Josh’s entire family had been staying in the nearby hotel for weeks now. When everyone all finally left at the end of the day, Josh made space on the bed for you to lay with him.
“You scared the shit out of me, you know?” you whispered.
“Will you tell me everything, now?” he asked. No one had told Josh what had happened, more focused on getting him better, since he was mostly out of it anyway and he wouldn’t remember. But now he was alert, and you forced yourself to open up.
“Car accident. Drunk driver hit you head on and it was bad. The car is completely wrecked, sorry about that,” you sighed. “What was the last thing you remember?”
“I was at the club. We were having a good time, but I really didn’t feel like drinking. I stayed with everyone for a bit, then I wanted to get home to you,” he said. “Hey Y/N?”
“What happened to the other driver?”
You closed your eyes. “He didn’t make it.”
Josh tensed and squeezed your fingers tightly. “They died?”
“Yeah, baby. I’m sorry.,” you whispered.
“I almost died too?”
“You did for minute,” you said squeezing your eyes shut again, you let yourself inhale the smell of him before continuing. “I was right here, beside you, and you started flatlining. They had to drag me out and do the whole paddle-thing. I thought I was going to lose you. It was the worst minute of my entire fucking life,” you whispered.
Josh squeezed your hand tightly, but you kept your eyes closed, ignoring the tears filling up as you thought about the seconds you thought you’d lost Josh.
“It was that bad?”
“They didn’t think you were gonna make it through the night. I’ve never been so scared in my life,” you said.
“Babe,” Josh whispered. “I’m so sorry.”
“Not your fault. I’m just scared to leave you alone right now. Don’t wanna let you go,” you sighed.
“I don’t really want you to leave. But promise me something?” he asked.
“After I fall asleep again, go home. Shower, eat some food, and try to sleep. I love you so much and I’m so grateful to you for being here but you haven’t left the hospital in what? Three weeks? Ash and my mom will be back soon, Ty’s here. I’ll be fine. You look like hell, love, and I’m a little worried,” Josh said.
You sighed. “I’ll shower and eat, but I’m not sleeping in the bed without you. I’m staying here until you can come home with me.”
Josh rolls his eyes but nods. “Fine. Thanks for being here. I love you so much.”
Feb. 10 - Social Media Shenanigans – Jeff kind of wishes that he didn’t know
Kent and Alexei apparently sext each other through Snapchat pretty regularly. 1.3K
“What the hell are you doing?” Jeff asks, a towel over his head as he
enters the locker room.
Kent doesn’t even look remotely embarrassed as he pulls his shirt down and
pockets his phone. “Sexy snapchatting my boyfriend.”
Alexei Mashkov likes his men blond, shameless, and a little stupid, he
supposes. There’s no helping taste.
He shouldn’t be that surprised when, that night while marathoning Game of
Thrones by himself, he gets a notification that he’s received a snapchat from
Kent. When he opens it, he nearly drops his phone and spills his cup noodles
all over his crotch.
Miss you lots babe, when you coming to
Vegas??? Providence is no fun, the caption says. The Kent in the photo is
lying down on what seems to be super soft blankets, the picture taken from the
up-down to showcase Kent’s exceptional abs all the way down to his low
waistband. He has an actual finger in his mouth, like he’s trying to play coy. It’s
clearly sent to the wrong person.
I had a talk with @lostcauses-noregrets about “what if IKEA sold body pillows and Levi saw them while searching for lost princess Erwin?” and then this happened :D
Levi will miss Erwin very much and is often unable to sleep when he’s away for work so he will call pretty late just to hear Erwin’s voice. They will talk, Erwin will sing songs for Levi til he’s finally able to sleep. And even though Erwin loves it when Levi is that affectionate he can’t hold back with teasing him a bit <3 And a Dånchø-Bodypillow might actually help ;)
They are so dorky and I love it.

Best friends since birth. His father and your mother had basically made you guys the power couple since you were so young! Archie and you always were together. His family was your family and your family was his. It was always the big question: Are you guys together? With the additional questions of: you guys would be cute together. He was always there, for the good times and bad. It seemed like the best reason to like him but yet it wasn’t. You loved him for other reasons, ones that couldn’t always be explained. You always believed that he liked you too but he was too scared to tell you.
You walked down your street and down towards the school quietly when you a bike riding right behind you. Centre meters away he rode behind you. You jumped in fright as he laughed at your reaction. He moved from behind you and started riding beside you. You hit his arm.
“Archie! You scared me” You exclaimed as he laughed. You looked up and smiled at the red-headed boy who was riding beside you.
“So my dad suggested you come over and you know… catch up with family?” He asked and you smiled.
“Arch I’d love to but I came over yesterday so I’ve kinda already done my ‘catching up with family’ business!” You laughed and he did too.
“I mean like ‘catching up with the family’ dinner? Like you bring your family!”
“Oh! Hahah of course arch! When?”
“Tomorrow night 5:00?”
Soon enough tomorrow night came and you and your family headed over the Andrews house. Your parents instantly hit it on with Fred, but of course that was normally your family and the Andrews family were super close. Your little sister even thought Archie was her brother! You greeted Archie at the door and just like that he picked up your little sister, embracing her and bringing you too inside the house. Although you and Archie were best friends since birth, when it came to family dinners it was a little bit awkward. Only because the two families were telling very embarrassing stories of you too as kids. But you laughed at the stories and ended having a less awkward time. It was a good night, having your two families together again and getting to ignore the sad and scary world for a night. You hoping that the fact that Fred and your parents both knew you liked eachother wouldn’t come up but of course it did.
“So, arch you have A girlfriend?” Your mum asked nosily.
“No um I don’t. Why? Have anyone in mind?” He asked laughing.
“Indeed I do!” She responded and my face went red. She nudged me and then winked at him. He laughed and you quickly got up and started collecting everyone’s finished dinner plates.
“Oh don’t worry about the dishes! I can do that!” Fred exclaimed.
“Oh no it’s fine! THANK YOU.” You said hinting that you needed to get out off the sticky situation anyway. As you walked into the kitchen you heard the muffled voices of Archie and your mother.
“Don’t worry y/m/n y/n always gonna be the one that fits my heart.” He said smiling. Your heart skipped a beat and your mind started through you all these question you didn’t know the answers to. If he likes you why hasn’t he asked you out? Does HE like you? And if yes why hasn’t he left any hints? At least you were happy your mother had the approval!
You walked down the hall to your next class when Jughead came bedside you.
“He told me all about last night.”
“Did he now?” You said laughing.
“And he is so unlove with you that it’s kind of sickening” he scolds making you laugh again.
“Then why won’t he ask me out?” You question.
“I’m the worlds biggest woman hater and that’s one of the reasons why!”
“What do you mean jug?”
“You know you don’t have to wait and make him ask you. There is such thing as you asking him! Gender stereotypes much!” You laugh and answer:
“Well the thing is jug I can live without him not being my boyfriend but he doesn’t seem like he can!” You both laugh.
“Okay so lets make him ask you out!”
“How?” You question wondering what plan Jughead is plotting!
“Jealousy you idiot!”
“With you? We make him jealous with you pretending to go out with me?”
“Uh…not me. No thanks.”
“No you’re perfect! It would be the last thing he expected!”
Jughead groans as you grab his arm and pull him into the student lounge to plan.
“Monday morning and we are into action!”
It came Monday morning and you and Jughead walked in together.
“Is this okay?” He said holding your hand.
“Jughead just make me laugh and smile and then I’ll do all the other work. Follow my lead.“ He unravelled his hand from yours and started attempting to make you laugh. You could see Archie at the end of the hall and you could tell he could hear your laugh echo towards him. You kinda felt bad. He did look kind of upset…but you had to be strong.
What you didn’t know was that this plan was about to change everything including you and Archie’s great friendship.
A/N: didn’t expect it to be so long also didn’t expect to have a part two but that will be up tomorrow xx
so your relationship is mostly built on laughing, jokes, being silly
because this boy I’m serious
because he never is
he is loud we all know this but like you will get embarrassed by him in public even if you’re not easily embarrassed
also he’s a huge fan of truth or dare he always chooses dare
and you will absolutely suffer if you choose dare and you don’t make that mistake twice
you best make sure all your friends and family know about you playing truth or dare because you don’t want to repeat where you had to explain your mom you weren’t actually pregnant or your best friend that you haden’t really cheated on Seokmin with Joshua
he loves pranking you but he loves it even more to prank seventeen with your help
practical jokes and just hidden-camera-without-camera stuff
the maknaes are his victims most of the time because he ain’t messing with the older ones except maybe Hoshi or Jun but you only make the mistake once to pull a joke on Woozi
kisses on the forehead are just a huge must with this guy
also he isn’t afraid of PDA but like soft PDA hand holding and pecks
don’t expect anything sexy of this guy in public
all for couple stuff btw like not the normal stuff the cheesy stuff
also the ‘If lost return to Y/n’ ‘I’m Y/n’ shirts
and you love buying him shirts with badly translated English scentences
he has a whole pile of shirts with “start to stop the keeping warm jar” “fart sexy style” and your personal favourite “chocolate fucking jesus” these shirts actually exist I looked them up
so you get the worst gifts to each other but on purpose
like for your bday he got a card that was like “it’s a boybirthday!” and a mug that said “finally 6 years old!”
but like always good gifts to make up for it
so I kinda think he’d be into assgrabbing v much when making out
like also he’s gonna initiate tongue
no joke you might think he’s sub but I see some dom in him
like he’s gonna lead and stuff
def with his hand on either your neck or cheek but somewhere close to your face
would love it when you go sit on his lap to like face you when kissing also ass possibilities
OKAY IM DONE
will try to make you laugh with horrible animal impressions
if you make a bad joke or pun he’s gonna do that pretentious laugh like ‘HA HA HA’ like he’s some kind of fancy boss, you know the laugh
and then he’ll burst out in laughing anyways because of the dissapointed look on your face
dates are most likely gonna be pretty active like arcade or something but staying in the dorm or your house doesn’t seem very DK
like to a restaurant or a picnic who knows
WATER BALLOON OR WATER GUN FIGHTS IN THE SUMMER
also if it’s valentine’s day you can expect some gifts cus he takes those things seriously
he wants to be the perfect bf so badly you’ll notice
like sometimes he’ll go overboard cheesy with like post-its with cute messages, sending hand-written letters when he’s in another country
and you can expect daily good morning and good night messages because he takes those seriously
also def has you as his background no doubt
he’s gonna be madly in love and everyone will know it no joke
and he’s not the person to be like ‘oh my Y/n is so amazing and great omfg’ no he’s gonna be sorta subtle about it ‘Oh that’s a nice shirt should I get that for Y/n?’ or like ‘Haha funny I gotta tell Y/n this!’ and stuff
like constantly mentioning you
when the guys ask about you he’s gonna be flustered as hell tho
“So how’s it going with you and Y/n?”
“Uhm yeah they’re uh doing good… heh”
he’s gonna like to use petnames but like casual ones like babe or something
“I don’t see why we have to go. If I recall correctly, you were asked to babysit, not me.”
Harry rolled his eyes.
“You are coming because you love me. And because Teddy is your cousin and I think it would be nice if the two of you got to know each other.”
Draco let out a long, dramatic sigh, but got up so they could leave.
Harry grinned and took his arm so they could apparate to Andromeda’s.
Before they knocked on the door, Harry turned to Draco.
“Andromeda is your aunt, so please just be nice for the five minutes you have to see her before she leaves.”
“Yeah, yeah, yeah,” Draco grumbled and knocked on the door.
They were met with a woman who at first glance, looked shockingly similar to Bellatrix. Draco was taken aback for a moment, but then after looking closer, realized this woman was much prettier, and had a very kind look to her, unlike Bellatrix’s crazy look.
“Hello, Andromeda,” Harry greeted and then stepped forward to give her a hug.
Draco stood back awkwardly.
“This is Draco. He’s my, uh, boyfriend. I hope it’s okay that he came along. I just thought that since he and Teddy are cousins-”
But Harry was cut off by Andromeda immediately taking Draco into her arms. Draco was stiff at first, but then relaxed into the hug, slowly hugging her back. He still looked uncomfortable, though, when she released him. Harry smiled at his effort.
“It’s so nice to finally meet you, Draco. Well why don’t you two come in, then. Teddy has been going on all week about how excited he is to see you, Harry. I’m sure he will be pleased to have a second person to play with as well.” She smiled at Draco who hesitantly smiled back.
They walked through the house and up the stairs to what Draco assumed to be Teddy’s room. He stood a few feet behind the others. He felt like he was intruding. But Harry grabbed his hand and pulled him forward so he was standing at his side.
Andromeda opened the door and there was a boy around the age of five, with bright aqua hair that was turning purple slightly at the tips, sitting on his bed.
“Teddy, Harry is here! And he brought someone with him. I have to go now though, be good for them, okay?” She leaned down to give him a kiss on the forehead and turned to Harry and Draco to thank them again for babysitting before disapparating.
“Hey Teddy!” Harry greeted the small boy.
Teddy immediately jumped up from the bed and launched himself at Harry to give him a hug that reached no higher than Harry’s waist.
Harry chuckled and bent down so they were at eye level to give him a proper hug.
Teddy then turned to Draco and looked at him skeptically.
“Teddy, this is Draco. He’s my boyfriend and he also happens to be your cousin! I thought you might like hanging out with him as well.”
Teddy continued to stare for a moment, but then must have decided that Draco was okay, because he then shot towards Draco to hug him, too. Draco was shocked at this and just stared down with wide eyes at the little boy.
“Hi Draco! Your name reminds me of dragons! I really like dragons, do you? They’re some of my favorites!” Teddy babbled while staring up in awe at Draco.
Draco looked at Harry, who had a smile on his face.
“I, um, yeah, dragons are alright,” he said.
Teddy then let go of Draco, much to his relief, and turned to Harry.
“Is that why you like him, Harry? Because his name sounds like dragons?”
“Yeah, that’s the only reason I can put up with him,” he joked.
Draco shot him a glare.
“I have some toy dragons! Do you want to see, Draco?”
“N-” Draco stopped what he was originally going to say when Harry shot him a look. “Yeah, okay, let’s see.”
Teddy grinned and grabbed Draco’s hand in his small one and pulled him over to the toy box that was in his room. Harry sat on Teddy’s bed and watched them.
Teddy pulled on Draco’s hand for him to sit down on the floor. With a sigh, he did, and watched as Teddy rummaged through his toys. He then pulled out four toy dragons. They were small and harmless, but moved as though they were real.
“Harry! You can come play too!”
Harry grinned and joined them on the floor.
“These look like the dragons we chose for the Triwizard Tournament,” Harry told Draco.
“Draco, you can choose which one you want first!”
“Wow, Draco. Teddy never let’s me choose first. He must really like you.” Harry smiled at the blond.
Draco reached forward and immediately went for the emerald green dragon with silver spikes. Harry snorted out a laugh at Draco’s obvious reasoning for his choice. Teddy, however made a face.
Draco glared at the little boy.
“Is there something wrong with this one?” He asked, a little too harshly for Harry’s liking, who elbowed him in the side for his tone.
“No. It’s just…that one is my favorite,” Teddy said with a slight pout.
Draco was not going to listen to the kid scream and throw a fit for not getting the one he wanted, so he quickly offered it to him.
“Well you can have it, then,” he said kindly and held the toy out to him.
“No, it’s okay,” Teddy smiled at him. “I like this one, too.” He grabbed one that was an icy blue color and then leaned over to whisper in Draco’s ear, “This one is Harry’s favorite. He always gets mad when I take it.”
Draco gave the little boy a real smile at this.
“Teddy! You know that one is my favorite!”
Teddy just smiled and held the toy up mockingly.
Harry finally chose his dragon, and they played for half an hour. Draco had to admit that it wasn’t a terrible time.
“I’m hungry,” Teddy said and threw his toy down.
“Alright, let’s go down to the kitchen and see what we can get you to eat,” Harry told him.
The three of them stood up, and Teddy immediately grabbed Draco’s hand and tugged on it to get his attention. Draco looked down at him.
“Can you give me a piggy-back ride?”
Draco looked incredulously at Harry, who just laughed and watched with amusement.
“Fine,” Draco grumbled and bent down so Teddy could jump on his back.
Draco looped his arms around Teddy’s legs, and then they made their way down to the kitchen.
Harry opened the fridge to see what there was to eat, and Draco set Teddy down and then lifted him back up to sit on the counter.
Harry then began rummaging through cabinets and pulled out a box of mac and cheese to make. Teddy sat on the counter, swinging his legs, and looked at Draco.
“Draco, were you and Harry friends in school?”
Draco glanced at Harry, who just gave a small nod.
“Yeah, well um, we weren’t in the same house, so we didn’t see much of each other, but I guess you could say we were friends.”
Harry fought to stifle his laughter.
“Harry was in the red house, right?”
Teddy clearly didn’t remember the names of the houses yet, or couldn’t pronounce them. Draco nodded in response.
“What house were you in, Draco?”
Draco smiled at him.
“Um…let’s see. There’s yellow, blue, and, and…oh yeah, green! Oh, I bet you were in the green house! That’s why you chose the green dragon!”
Draco actually grinned at the little boy.
“That’s right. The green house is the best one, by the way. Don’t let Harry tell you otherwise. Green also happens to be my favorite color, but that might just be because it was my house.”
“Don’t corrupt him at such an early age, Draco!” Harry said, but was laughing as well.
When Draco looked back at Teddy, he noticed that the tips of his hair had changed from purple to dark green, and the color was spreading even more through his hair.
“Might be too late for that, Harry.” Draco said, chuckling.
Harry turned to look and saw Teddy’s change in hair color. He rolled his eyes but gave Teddy a wide smile.
“That’s a good color on you, Ted.”
Teddy giggled and turned the rest of his hair green.
“I kind of like the yellow house…I like yellow,” Teddy said.
Harry looked over to Draco, knowing how much he used to hate Hufflepuff, but Draco wasn’t paying any attention to him.
“Hmm…that house is nice. I believe that was the house your mum was in.”
He turned to look at Harry, as if for confirmation, and Harry nodded and grinned at Draco.
“Really?! Do you know what house my dad was in?”
“Red, he was with Harry’s mum and dad.”
“Wow,” Teddy said.
Harry finished making the mac and cheese and put some onto three plates that he set on the table.
Harry lifted Teddy down from the counter and they all sat at the table to eat.
“Draco, did you play quidditch?” Teddy asked with a mouthful of food.
“Teddy,” Harry sighed. “You know you’re not supposed to eat with your mouth full.”
Teddy just rolled his eyes and waved Harry off.
“Yeah, I was seeker. Way better than Harry,” Draco said with a smirk.
Harry shook his head.
“Quit filling his head with lies,” he joked.
When they finished eating they went into the living room to watch a movie.
Draco sat on the couch while Harry put the movie in, and Teddy plopped himself onto Draco’s lap. Draco would have preferred that he didn’t, but he didn’t have the heart to tell the little boy no.
“And where do you suppose I should sit?” Harry asked with a quirked eyebrow when he turned and saw the two were taking up the whole couch.
“On the floor,” Draco told him, to which Teddy responded with a fit of giggles.
Both Draco and Harry smiled at this, and Harry reluctantly sat on the floor.
“Y’know Teddy, I’m not sure how I feel about how much you like Draco. I’m starting to think you like him more than me,” Harry said while smiling at the pair of them.
Teddy shifted so he could wrap his arms around Draco’s middle and rest his head against him.
“No…I like you both the same! But Draco is more comfy than you, Harry!”
Draco stuck his tongue out at Harry, who just laughed and turned back to watch the movie.
Teddy was asleep after only 15 minutes of the movie. Draco smiled softly down at him. He decided that maybe this wasn’t so bad. He gently wrapped an arm around Teddy to make sure he didn’t fall off or anything.
When the movie was over, Harry realized that he was the only one of the three that was still awake. He stood up and stretched and then smiled down at his boyfriend and godson. He gently pushed some hair out of Draco’s face, waking him up.
“Draco,” he whispered so he wouldn’t wake Teddy up. “Andromeda will be home soon.”
Draco mumbled something incoherently, but made no move to get up.
A moment later, Andromeda walked through the door. Harry greeted her and then she looked over at Draco and Teddy.
“They fell asleep while we were watching the movie. It just finished,” Harry chuckled and then woke both of them up so Teddy could go to his bed.
“Hi Teddy, did you have a good time?” Andromeda asked.
Teddy nodded sleepily.
“Grandma, can Draco tuck me into bed?” He asked her.
Draco picked Teddy up and walked up the stairs with him. Harry and Andromeda followed behind quietly and watched from the doorway as Draco tucked him in.
Draco covered Teddy up with his blankets and was about to turn to walk away when Teddy grabbed his hand.
“Draco, will you come visit again?”
Draco sat down on the corner of the bed and smiled at the little boy.
“Sure, whenever you want.”
“Do you promise?”
“Yes, I promise. You can even come over to me and Harry’s if your grandmother will allow it.”
Teddy’s tired face lit up at this.
“Can I really? She’ll let me Draco, I know she will!”
“Of course. Maybe you can even sleep over. But for now you have to go to sleep, okay?”
“M’kay,” Teddy said, but then leaned up to give Draco a hug.
Draco hugged him back and then laid him back down.
Draco smiled and then turned to the door.
There he saw Andromeda and Harry watching him, he didn’t know they had followed him up. They were both smiling.
Andromeda saw them to the door.
“Thank you, again, for watching him. And I think he really enjoyed your company, Draco, so thank you for tagging along.”
Draco gave a small smile, then they said their goodbyes and Harry apparated them home.
“That wasn’t so bad,” Draco admitted once they were in their own bed.
“Mm, I’d go so far as to say you even had a good time,” Harry told him before he wrapped an arm around Draco to pull him into his chest.
Harry smiled and gave Draco a sweet but short kiss on the lips.
“Thank you. Teddy loves you. Probably more than me,” he laughed.
Reina: “Please just…ignore her. She scared away my last boyfriend too. Okay, he was actually an asshole, but…” Neptune: *Sniff* Thank you for helping.“ Reina: "Listen…I see how my brother looks at you, and it’s the same way you’re looking at him. You know he called me all exited when you finally got together?” Neptune: “Really?” Reina: *Nods* And I’ve talked him out of his brooding moods more than a few times when he was hopelessly into you, but didn’t know if he should say anything. I always told him to go with it.“ Neptune: ”I should’ve gone with it a long time ago myself.“ Reina: "Yeah, so don’t let my mother ruin what you have, okay?” Neptune: “I just…don’t want to cause any issues with their relationship.” Reina: “Trust me, there’s plenty of issues to begin with. You’re the least of their problems.” Neptune: “…If you say so.”
Request-Being Stiles girlfriend and calling him when you cant sleep so he comes over and lots of cuddling? Also, good luck on your blog!
“How much do you love me?” I asked as Stiles answered his phone. It was almost two in the morning and I couldn’t sleep, so naturally I thought to call over the one person who can fall asleep in seconds and who also happens to be my boyfriend. “A lot. Why?” he said, his voice muffled a bit by his face in his pillows. I knew his phone was on speaker and he was half asleep but I had tried everything to go to sleep and nothing was working. “I can’t sleep, nothing I’ve tried is working and I was hoping that maybe you would get in that Jeep that you love so much and come over.” I answered, almost wincing as I said the last part. Everyone who knows Stiles knows that he loves his sleep, hell he needs his sleep or he becomes a drama queen, but I need my boyfriend. It was silent for a second, silent in my room, silent on the other line, just for a second before I heard movement on Stiles’ end of the call. “You are lucky that you’re cute. I’ll see you in five.” He yawned out, hanging up and making me smile widely. I got out of bed, grabbing an extra pillow and blanket from my closet know that he would need his own or else I would be cold all night and he would be wrapped up in my blankets. Luckily, I have a full-size bed so there was enough room for two of us, but even with the bed being a good size, we always ended up as close as humanly possible. I’m sure that my hair looked like an utter mess, but I didn’t care and I know Stiles didn’t either. He was coming here to sleep, I could look like a zombie and he wouldn’t care or probably even notice. I put the pillow and blanket on my bed and then walked down stairs and into the kitchen to get some water. I always sleep better when I’m not thirsty and at this point I was just waiting for Stiles. When I heard, his Jeep pull into my drive way, I put the glass of water down and jogged over to the front door, opening it quietly and looking at a sleepy Stiles walk towards me. When he got close, his face illuminated by the porch light, me he gave me a sleepy smile and looked at what I was wearing, his 2nd lacrosse jersey, the one he uses for away games. “Nice shirt, where did you get it?” He asked causing me to roll my eyes and pull him inside. My parents never cared if Stiles stayed the night because they knew we would never do anything rated R with them in the house but they did care if we woke them up. So, I just took Stiles’ hand and led him upstairs back to my room. Once I shut the door, I looked back at him and kissed his lips ever so softly. “Thanks for coming over.” I whispered and he just nodded sleepily and looked around my room. My blue lights were on, something I can’t sleep without because the blue light calms me. I was wearing the most comfortable piece of clothing I own, well stole. My hair was still a little wet from the shower I had taken to try to relax. There was only one thing left to do, cuddle with my boyfriend until I fell asleep. “Okay, sleep.” He said pointing to the bed, I grabbed his hand and pulled him over to it, laying down, with him doing the same. It took us both a second to get under the blankets, now it was just time to try to find a comfortable position. Stiles was laying in the middle of the bed, on his stomach with his arms above his head. I lifted his one arm and snuggled underneath it so my forehead was resting in the crook of his neck. It was a little bit of a weird position for us but I could already feel myself getting sleepy. “(Y/N)?” He whispered as I snuggled as close to him as I could possible get, feeling my eyelids begin to get heavy. I just let out a small “mmhmm” wanting him to continue but not wanting to for a real word. “I missed you. I’m glad you called. Get some rest baby, I love you.” He whispered, kissing my temple before laying back down in our new fount comfortable position. “Love you too” I mumbled out before I let the sleep take over me. Ever since that night, whenever we sleep together we always end up back in that positon.
svetlana and mickey arguing and mickey being like “fuck me” and svetlana answering “I’d rather fuck carrotboy then you” and mickey looking at her for a second and then answering “well that’s the first fucking thing you and I have in common”
Summary: Which of the two Stilinksi twins are better? You or Stiles?
Genre: Fluffy, and I hope I got some comedy in there
A/N: I will say sorry for my Teen Wolf followers if they get annoyed when I post Kpop things and they get a lot of Kpop on their dash. I’m sorry, but it’s what I originally started this blog for. Anyways, this is for @just-jordie-things ‘s anon that wanted Derek. I hope you enjoy.
~ Admin Brooklyn
“OH MY GOD I AM RIGHT HERE!” Stiles’ wailing could be heard throughout Derek’s loft. The entire pack had decided to meet up and have a pack meeting. Scott was there with Isaac, while Lydia was Allison’s ride. You came with your brother Stiles, although you were regretting that decision.
“Clam down, we’re not even doing anything.” Stiles rolled his eyes at your response. Pointing in between you and Derek who held your arm and pulled you closer to him.
“You and Derek kissed! And as your older brother, I demand that you don’t do it.” You rolled your eyes and scoffed at him. Your spastic older brother stood by Derek’s table, crossing his arms.
“Stiles, I swear to fucks, he is my boyfriend. Couples kiss each other. Okay? I’m going to kiss my boyfriend whenever I want to.” You crossed your arms. Derek smiled down at you, chuckling slightly. You look up at him, raising an eyebrow.
“I’m older you have to listen to me.” You rolled your eyes once more. This was beyond childish. “Stiles Stilinski we are fucking twins. You are only a few minutes older.”
“Okay guys, not that I don’t love your bickering, but we have things we have to do.” Lydia cut in. Stiles glared at Derek, making the werewolf raise his eyes at your brother. Scott gave Lydia a thankful look, and Lydia returned it with a half-hearted smile.
The pack gathered around the table, thinking of the current alpha situation. If you thought that dealing with Derek as an alpha last year was problematic, then you haven’t dealt with the alpha pack yet. Kali, Ennis, Ethan and Aiden all of them followed the dramatic “Demon Wolf” who feel that wearing sunglasses indoors are the new hip thing. You were exhausted dealing with these dramatic drama queens, and you were thankful that Derek was always there for you. That is until Stiles pushes himself in between you two.
“What if we surprise them and go at them from be-” Derek was cut off as Stiles elbowed him in his ribs. Did it hurt? Not really. Was it a minor inconvenience for him that broke his concentration? Hell yes. Especially when Stiles did it to prevent any contact between you and Derek. Derek stopped talking and looked at Stiles, and eyebrow raised at him. His expression read ‘wtf are you doing’ but Stiles didn’t seem to care.
“What?” Stiles said innocently. Your head was in your hands, elbows resting on the table. The pads of your fingertips rubbed against your temples as you tried to suppress a headache. Derek rolled his eyes. “Nothing Stiles.”
“So anyways, if we go at the pack from here,” Derek moved, walking around the table to point to the back entrance. “Maybe we can surprise them. Take them off guard.”
“Yeah but that’s a big if.” You said. Your eyebrows were knit together, concentrating on the task at hand. You moved away from your spot, standing next to Derek, pointing at all the other entrances. “They could still hear us. Plus it doesn’t give us much of a vantage point if we do. Maybe they don’t see us from behind but- OH MY GOD STILES!”
“I’m not doing anything!” Your brother had wedged himself between you and Derek again, but this time he seemed to find a more effective way of keep Derek off of you. Stiles was leaning against Derek. Stiles’ pale toned body barely covering Derek’s, making Stiles a minor inconvenience again, but this time more annoying.
“Stiles, dude, I get that (Y/N)’s your sister, but we need to get work done,” Scott said. Stiles gave him an overly dramatic betrayed look. Derek looked at you annoyed and you sighed. Rubbing your temples again you grabbed Stiles’ arm and tried prying him off of Derek.
“You’re taking their side!” Stiles accused Scott, still hurt at his friend’s betrayal. Scott shrugged. “I mean (Y/N)’s like a sister to me too, but I’ve kissed Allison and it was okay.”
A blush crept up on Allison’s face, and Scott seemed to notice. His eyes got wide and he opened his mouth, ready to defend himself. “I didn’t mean that it was all we did. No, we did a lot of other things. NOT SEX THOUGH I SWEAR! Besides, we barely kissed at all. Why would I kiss her like that? WAIT NO! I meant it as why would I be all over you. Not that you aren’t good at kissing Allison. No, you’re amazing at it. Best I’ve ever had.”
“Scott. Stop. Please.” Scott nodded sheepishly at your request to stop his cringe-worthy speech. You continued to pull Stiles off of Derek, but it was no use. “Stiles please get off Derek. I would like to have him back.”
“What if he wants me more?” Stiles questioned, so sure of his logic. Derek rolled his eyes at Stiles, as you face palmed. Isaac let out a laugh, as well as Allison. Lydia wasn’t having any of it and just studied the map of the bank. Scott was still blushing at Allison. Derek pushed Stiles off of him with ease. The pale boy falling to the floor clumsily.
“Sorry, I’d rather have the better twin,” Derek said, pulling you closer by your waist. You smiled up at him happily, and he smiled back. Stiles groaned from the floor either in pain or in disgust. Probably both.
“Please don’t kiss in front of me. It’s gross enough that you’re dating the sourwolf here.” Stiles complained, getting up from the ground. Derek rolled his eyes once more before smirking quickly. You raised an eyebrow at him. You knew that look, it was a scheming planning look that popped up whenever he wanted something, hint hint, wink wink, nudge nudge, THAT HE FUCKIN YOU, sorry.
“Why would we do that Stiles, you are the superior twin.” Stiles seemed to have a satisfied smile. He got up from the ground and brushed off any dirt off of his flannel. He smiled before turning to Derek and saying, “Thank you, Derek. See Derek understands- wait. Are you making fun of me?”
“Now why would I do that when the older and better twin is clearly right,” Derek said once again. You stare at him in both disbelief and confusion. Derek smirked as Stiles looked at you confused.
“What is he doing?” Stiles asked you. You shrugged before looking at Derek equally confused. Derek just smirked at you, continuing to play his little game.
“I shouldn’t do this to my girlfriend,” Derek said, pulling you close. He smashed his lips onto yours, pulling you into an intense kiss. You ran your hand up to his hair, pulling his closer to you.
“OH MY GOD MY EYES. I’M BLIND! I NEED TO BLEACH MY EYES.” Stiles yelled while fake gagging. Derek pulled away and smirked at Stiles who was hunched over. You giggled quietly and smiled at Derek.
“Sorry big bro, but he’s right.” You said to Stiles. Scott went over to Stiles and leaned him on his shoulder.
“It’s okay Stiles. I still think you’re the better twin.”
