Hitfix: The first thing that surprise me is how powerfully emotional it is. I mean, it really got to me many, many places before your first flight.

HC: I know. Like the first half hour - “I was in the movie, I know what the script was.” The first half hour I was watching it, I almost cried three times. I was like, “Hmp, man - man up. Don’t be seen crying in the theater.” [x]

HC: …My nephew Thomas, ahm, was so super excited he one day ran to school - and now keep in mind Thomas has great reputation for telling stories and just making up stuff to the teacher -

JL: How old is he now?

HC: He’s seven now. And so he goes to school dressed in a Superman outfit. And, you know, he’s all pumped, Uncle Henry’s Superman. And the teacher says, “Thomas why are you wearing, you know, THIS? You’re not allowed to wear this school. ” He says, “Well because my Uncle’s Superman,” you know, very matter-of-fact.

Henry Cavill on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno, 6th June, 2013 [x]

I: Are you prepared for, sort of, y'know, the massive gradient of fame after the film comes out?

H: There is no preparetion for that, i don’t think. I mean, there’s no experience that can actually prepare you for anything like that. And so, I’m just gonna have to roll with it and see what happens.
