No real idea what it is, Looks a bit like antique Renaults, but I suspect it is not very likely to find one of those in southern California.
More pure goodness from haystackengineering. It is very similar to early Renaults, although I think it’s more likely to be a Kelly Springfield………….

haystackengineering; 1938 Plymouth. Someone clearly dropped the front at some point - and to me at least this one looks like it would benefit from getting back to original stance. These are pretty handsome cars with all the bright-work.
