Stagecoach

Robert W. Krepps’ novelisation of Gordon Douglas’remake of John Ford’s “Stagecoach”. Uff!

First was Ernest Haycox’s short-story “Stage to Lordsburg” (1937) [ itself probably inspired by Guy de Maupassant’s “Boule de Suif”?]. It was the base of John Ford’s Stagecoach (1939)

In 1966, Gordon Douglas realised an eponym remake. Robert W. Krepps wrote the novelisation.

Here the edition in the most important french language western collection ever: collection “Western” at Editions Le Masque/Librairie des Champs Elysées.
