Divorce lawyer Castiel Novak has one week to convince his bosses he’s not a “lonely, workaholic.” And it’s not going to be easy. In a moment of insanity, Castiel agrees to bring his fiancé to the corporate retreat in Maui. But there’s one problem: he hasn’t got a fiancé.
Enter Dean Winchester—six feet of sexy, sculpted police muscle and Castiel’s best friend. Dean needs a date for his cousin’s island wedding—someone to stop the family matchmakers, aka his mom. The chemistry between them is just a bonus.
All they have to do is resist falling for their own lie. But just because their relationship is fake doesn’t mean that falling for each other won’t have real consequences!
Hugh Jackman is spotted looking sharp in a black suit while out and about in New York City, New York on May 18, 2015. It’s back to business as usual for Hugh who recently returned from a Hawaiian getaway with his family.
Brittany Snow was the shittiest person at responding to stress. Like many other people in the world, she hated confronting it. She’d preferred to bottle everything up, put it to the side, and pretend it never existed. After keeping everything under lock and key inside of her, it eventually exploded, resulting in some very unfortunate consequences. So, this time, instead of decompressing from all the press she’d done, worrying about her next projects, or get upset at herself for avoiding all she needed to get done, Brittany did what anyone else would do - impromptu vacation to Hawaii.
Granted, she wasn’t actually the one to coordinate any of the details. She had Anna to thank for that. However, she had a gut feeling that if she had been stuck at home drowning in her work, it’d have a negative effect on her. Besides, she’d been working hard. She needed a break. And what better way to take a break than by being somewhere calming with one of her best friends?
The blonde had spent the entire day so far as a lazy day, not really seeing any need to get up other than to go to the bathroom or grab a little something to snack on. With her eyes resting closed, head against a pillow, and the sheets of the bed tossed lazily over her, she yawned before groaning softly. “How many times are you going to switch between Chopped and Love It of List It?”
Do you have any advice on how to keep the fire burning in a relationship?
Always set aside time. Make date nights a thing at least once a month. make it a priority. Plan vacations together, doesn’t need to be expensive Hawaiian getaways it could even just be a night at a hotel an hour away. Explore and adventure together. Try new things together, even sexually. Very important. Do random gift giving, just-because presents, doesn’t have to be huge, could just be “this reminded me of you” cheap shit, but go out of your way to show you care. Don’t think “well I got them something last time, it’s their turn” No, if you wanna get them something, get it. This isn’t a competition. There are no rules for that. and always communicate. Always talk. Always share how your day was and ask how theirs was. Always express how you’re feeling even if you think it’s stupid. and always listen.
If deejaybm wants to chime in and add things, he can. But that’s what I feel helps the most.
I am definitely in need of some type of Hawaiian getaway or something– I mean, imagine it. Walking around a supposedly almost inactive volcano seems neat! Or maybe not so much.. Hawaii is probably a bit more warm and humid than Florida is, but it might be more fun with you. I say that we book it, just me and you. What do you say?
