#WayBackWednesday This is the cover from an #XMen What If? Deadly Genesis one-shot I pencilled back in the day (I wanna say 2006). It was written by David Hine, whom I also worked on District X with. The cover was inked by Terry Pallot, and coloured by Laura Martin.
What would be the ship name for Havok/Darwin… AlWin… SumWin… HavWin… Win should definitely be in the ship name.
Look… Im sure Darwin is fine…. Probably just trying to figure out how to … fix his body or something… Like Brook! His souls just floating around like ‘ok how can I fix this.’ and he’ll just come back… and it’ll be fine.
Can I talk about how ‘X-Men: Apocalypse’ had the perfect set up for an after credit scene (one that would have been an AMAZING nod to the comics) where Alex wakes up a good distance away from the school and surrounded by a forcefield after being knocked unconscious by the explosion.
He’s very confused but then the forcefield then dissipates from around him and then coalesces into a humanoid form saying “Long time no see. Wow… your hair is SO much longer than it used to be, dude… is this a thing now?” and SURPRISE! IT’S FUCKING DARWIN- DARWIN WHO IS VERY MUCH *NOT DEAD* BECAUSE HIS POWERS MAKE HIM INCAPABLE OF DYING!!!!!!!!!
YOU HAD IT!
YOU FUCKING HAD IT!!
YOU FUCKING HAD IT RIGHT THERE, FOX, AND IT WAS SO CLOSE, IT WAS BITING YOU IN THE FUCKING ASS!!!
