A - Ships that you currently like a lot. (They don’t have to be OTPs because not everyone has OTPs.) Friendships, pairings, threesomes, etc. are allowed.
B - A pairing–platonic, romantic or sexual–that you initially didn’t consider, but someone changed your mind.
C - A ship you have never liked and probably never will.
D - A pairing you wish you liked but just can’t.
E - Have you added anything cracky/hilarious to your fandom? If so, what?
F - What’s the longest you’ve ever been in a fandom?
G - Have you ever had an OTP? If so, do you remember your first one? Who was in it?
H - What is your favorite source text for fandom stuff (e.g., TV shows, movies, books, anime, Western animation, etc.)?
I - Has Tumblr caused you to stop liking any fandoms, if so, which and why?
J - Name a fandom you didn’t think about until you saw it all over Tumblr. (You don’t have to care about it or follow it; it just has to be something that Tumblr made you aware of.)
K - What character has your favorite development arc/the best development arc?
L - Say something genuinely nice about a character who isn’t one of your faves. (Characters you’re neutral about are fair game, as are characters you merely dislike. Characters that you absolutely loathe with the fire of ten thousand suns are exempt, as there is no point in giving yourself an aneurysm over a character that you hate.)
M - Name a character that you’d like to have for a friend.
N - Name three things you wish you saw more or in your main fandom (or a fandom of choice).
O - Choose a song at random. Which ship or character does it remind you of?
P - Invent a random AU for any fandom (we always need more ideas).
Q - A fandom you’ve abandoned and why.
R - Which friendship/platonic relationship is your favorite in fandom?
S - Show us an example of your personal headcanon (prompts optional but encouraged)
T - Do you have any hard and fast headcanons that you will die defending?
U - Three favorite characters from three different fandoms, and why they’re your favorites.
V - Which character do you relate to most?
W - A trope which you are virtually certain to hate in any fandom.
X - A trope which you are almost certain to love in any fandom.
Y - What are your secondhand fandoms (i.e., fandoms you aren’t in personally but are tangentially familiar with because your friends/people on your dash are in them)?
Z - Just ramble about something fan-related, go go go! (Prompts optional but encouraged.)
so lance is sitting crosslegged on his bed and keith is half in his lap, the back of his head resting against lance’s chest. lance is playing xbox or smth, arms wrapped around keith as he’s holding the controller. keith’s watching lance play, idly stroking his hands along lance’s forearms, backseat gaming occasionally. lance ends up winning the game with the final shot and the way he laughs in triumph as keith smiles and says “good job, sharpshooter”
& lance lets the controller drop and closes keith tighter in his arms, leaning them both to the side a bit and pressing rapid, sloppy kisses into his neck as he mumbles “my good luck charm”
Don’t forget Gorillaz fans, Jamie Hewlett exist! He made all you’re favorite band members come to life in the music videos, shorts, ect! He continues drawing them countless times and works day and night to give you new content with the band members! So please appreciate him!!! ❤❤❤
Not every pan person feels included in the Bi Week festivities, even though the “bi+” umbrella has been sporadically used. And that’s valid. Pan people do not have to force ourselves to feel represented by a label we haven’t chosen for ourselves, and let’s be real, a label we are often invisible under.
So, Pan Week.
December 3rd - 9th, 2017.
Including the already established Pan Pride Day on December 8th.
On December 8th, there will be a Pan Chat, more info on that to come.
Use the hashtag “#PanWeek” on Twitter.
Use the tag “Pan Week” on Tumblr.
The objective of Pan Week is to spread awareness and positivity for the pan identity and show support and acceptance for pan people. During Pan Week, pan people, and hopefully non-pan people as well, will take part to share and learn about pan topics and issues; such as history, media representation, inclusivity in LGBT+ spaces, treatment from fellow queer people, hate, erasure, etc.
Share your stories, selfies, and art.
Celebrate characters, public figures, and each other.
Be proud. Raise your voice. Let everyone know that you’re here and won’t be silenced or forgotten.
Color Reference Guide to Recognize & Avoid Whitewashing
I’ve made a tutorial on how to color adjust to fix washed out colorings, but I noticed people aren’t always sure when their coloring needs fixing in the first place. So I’ve made a bunch of colorings you can use to compare your own to. It’s designed to help avoid whitewashing, but also help avoid over-correction.
If you’re not a content creator, you can also use this guide for reblogging as well. :)
Using the Guide
Each set comes in three: cool, neutral, and warm. If your coloring is bluer/whiter than the cool tone, consider readjusting.
Examples of what might be too pale/bright are beneath each set
There are various categories (daytime, night scenes, etc) for each type of scene you might encounter
Each coloring has a color palette beneath for the highlights, midtones, and shadows of the character’s face. If you’re having trouble eyeballing it, use the eyedropper tool to double check.
NOTES 1)For the sake of simplicity, I’ve used one character per category, but characters of color are not interchangeable. Identify the skin tone for the character you’re coloring and work with that. This is only meant to give a frame of reference for what is and isn’t whitewashing
2)If any of the colorings look different than what they’ve been stated as (i.e. the cool tones look too warm or some look way too dark to be visible) calibrate your monitor. It means your screen color and gamma needs readjustment.
