have a great rest of the day

Wow
So I had a crazy day.

I’m not gonna go into details.
But I’m gonna take the rest of the night to decompress and what not.

Nothing is wrong. No worries. I am not directly effected by what happened today but things are great. And my heart is full of pride. 😄 I feel so dramatic hahaha.

Anyway, thank you all for your kind and caring words today. I really appreciate it.

I hope my strange feeling dissipates soon so I can get back to having fun on the Tumblrs. ❤️💜

I’m gonna go on and prepare for bed.

I’ll be lurking hehe.

Night night!

Much love 💜

Hey do you know of any cheap vegan items from Amazon? for $6 I can buy 32 poptarts which is a month supply breakfast. I'm vegetarian but I prefer not eat animal p roducts unless I haven't eaten in days. I can't go to the store and can use prime but not prime pantry because of the extra fees and only have the $6 for the rest of the month because of father's day and college materials and my rent spiked up 40%. Thank you!

Amazon tends to be good for dried goods like pasta, rice and noodles, but also canned multipacks of things like beans. You can also pick up 1kg twin packs tubs of peanut butter really cheaply. I’d provide you with some links but I’ve no idea where you live and it differs a great deal dependent on location. I hope your financial situation improves soon, but you may find my cheap vegan essentials list useful here: https://acti-veg.com/2017/02/19/cheap-vegan-essentials/

You said that your old house had 6 flamingos and a volunteer avocado tree. What is a volunteer avocado?

A Volunteer Avocado is when you mom was raised in Cleveland by people with only a passing relationship with fruit but a tremendous interest in both urban agriculture and not paying for things, so she can’t stand to get rid of a perfectly good avocado seed, so she gets it to germinate in a mason jar on the kitchen counter, then plants it in the front yard to see if it’ll actually grow but your house is on what used to be a chicken farm so it’s got stupid good soil and the little avocado grows hell-for-breakfast in the CA sun and chicken-shit dirt and in three years it’s as tall as the house and your mom leaves the front door open at night so the wolfdog can get outside in short order because your neighbors love avocados too and come into your yard at 3AM with a ladder to steal them and you wake up in the middle of the night to your parents yelling at Mrs. Mcgurkey about what the FUCK do you think you’re doing, and you use that word the next day on your Demon of a fourth-grade teacher and she actually hits you because she’s a piece of shit but one of your classmates throws his chair at her first and you become best friends and spend the rest of the year giving her hell culminating in the Mantisocalypse.

I might have gone off-topic.

HOW YOUR SUICIDE WILL AFFECT OTHERS.

When I was 16 I swallowed 3 bottles of extra strength pills in my school bathroom because I simply didn’t want to live anymore and I was tired, just so very tired. I couldn’t walk down the halls without being stared at and talked about because the school football team posted things about me online and eventually the rest of the bystanders joined in the harassment. But that’s not what I’m here to talk about, I’m here to talk about how the aftermath of your suicide will affect others in a way that you would never understand. Because you thought no one cared, but they did. So, here’s my story.
I will never forget the look on my parents faces when they had to sit back and watch their little girl almost die from uncontrollable seizures. They had tear stained eyes and puffy cheeks. But what fucks me up the most was seeing my dad cry. I’ve only ever seen my dad cry twice. The first time was at his mothers funeral, and the second time was when I tried to end my life.
One of the responding fire fighters was a coach from one of my sport teams. And for a fearless man who ran into burning homes as a job, he couldn’t move from the corner of the room because the successful athlete he watched grow up was dying in front of his eyes.
My 2 best friends experienced the hardest part. They were the ones who found my limp unconscious body slouched up against the bathroom stall. They were the ones who had to be physically torn from my side because they didn’t want to let go of my hand. And to this day, they still have nightmares about that morning like it was yesterday.
A girl from my school who had also tried to take her own life earlier in the year showed up at hospital bed and gave me the biggest hug. She cried as she tried to explain how great life is, that image is still stuck in my head.

You see, it’s not about how many people will give a shit if you die. It’s about the ones who would, and how bad it would fuck them up for the rest of their lives. People care, and they always will. Suicide isn’t the cure to sadness.

23 years ago, the world lost a great musician and human being.

23 years ago, Kurt Cobain tragically died, leaving behind him fans who are still hurt to this day and who miss him dearly.
I never got to experience how it would be to lose a person who means so much for you, and even though I wasn’t around when Kurt was alive, I feel like I have known him enough to have the tears forming in my eyes and a dreadful feeling filling my soul. A feeling of depression and emptiness inside
of me.

Rest in peace Kurt, wherever you are.

I just wish that you would know how much you mean for a lot of people all over the world. How much your music meant to us. How much we love you and cherish you as a human being.
Wherever you are, I hope that you would finally reach Nirvana.

Rest in peace, you wonderful human being. You may be gone, but never forgotten.

Tater headcanon/ficlet

Tater’s parents divorced when he was very young, he doesn’t even remember a time they were together (although they had an amicable relationship post-divorce). His father was a hockey player, his mother was a figure skating champion.

He grew up in Russia with his father, but would spend a couple months every year visiting his mother in the USA. She retired from competition, but continued on to be a formidable youth figure skating coach. Her students were always successful.

When Tater visits his mom, he usually tags along to her early morning practices. Truthfully, he catches a bit more sleep in the stands most days, but he does really enjoy watching the progress her students have made on days mornings when he’s well-rested.

When he’s 11 or so, his mom takes on a tiny blond boy as her newest student, and Tater absolutely LOVES watching him practice. The kid is fast learner, and young Tater has been around the best and brightest of figure skating enough to know that this boy is going to be great.

Even when Tater returns home to Russia after his visit, he still asks his mom about how the little blond boy is doing with his lessons. The next time he visits, the improvement is already staggering. Now he eagerly attend his mom’s early morning lessons to see what this talented tiny boy can do.

Tater meets him once, but the funny little American boy talks very fast and Tater has no idea what he’s saying. He manages to say “Hi” and “good skate” and then stares, completely overwhelmed by this ball of blond energy shaking his hand and talking a mile a minute. Tater knows he’s saying something nice about his mom, because the boy is smiling a lot and looks over at her a couple times, but he knows very little English, so it mostly goes over his head. Still, it makes him smile, and he’s happy his mom has found such an enthusiastic student.

The years go by, and although Tater is sad to hear that his mom’s star pupil no longer figure skates, he gets busy with his hockey career. His mother has other talented students now, and she’s back in Russia. Life goes on. It’s been years since he’s thought of the tiny blond boy…

But one day, his teammate Jack starts (does he ever stop?) bragging about how wonderful his boyfriend is, and brings him along for a fun shinny game with the Falcs to show off Bitty’s skills and speed.

“Remember last time we did this, Bits?” Jack teases his boyfriend while the other guys set up the nets.

“The boys made me do a jump in my hockey skates for the school paper,” Bitty replies with a laugh.

Tater insists on seeing Jack’s little blond boyfriend do a jump, because he does miss watching figure skating like in his childhood. Bitty obliges, and the moment he lifts off the ice, Tater is filled with nostalgia. He knew something was familiar about this energetic young man.

“Hey, little B!” Tater skates over to Bitty immediately. “You’re so good. Always jumping so high, even in hockey skates.”

“Well, it would be better if I were in figure skates, and had a bit more practice…”

“Is okay. Long time since you started hockey, yes? When you were 15?”

Bitty doesn’t think too much of it, aside from being a bit of embarrassment that Jack has told his friends THAT much about him. “Yeah, I figure skated for years before that.”

“So many championships. Good skate.”

Bitty chuckles, remembering the time he met Katya’s quiet son who didn’t speak much English. That poor shy boy had only managed to tell him “good skate” too. He was hit with a wave of déja vu. This giant of a man was about 10,000 times more talkative than that boy, but now that Bitty thought about it, he did look a little familiar. “Um… Tater? This may sound strange, but…”

“So B, you know my mom Katya, yes?”

“OH. MY. GOD.”

“We should send her selfie now.”

Laurel’s Easy Sabbat Planning Guide

For all of the witches who struggle with Sabbats sneaking up on them, here is a guide to help whip up an easy celebration so you never have to miss out on Sabbats again!

A Sabbat is a seasonal festival mostly celebrated by Pagans and Witches. Sabbats are like any other holiday, except these are normally celebrations of the changing of the seasons, or the “turning of the wheel.” Each person will celebrate each Sabbat differently, as each season is completely personal to you.

⛤ The First Step

The first step I recommend to planning a Sabbat celebration is to figure out exactly what the Sabbat is to you. Figure out how you feel about the sabbat and what you naturally associate each one with. This can take some time to work through, especially if you are new to sabbats or if you tend to avoid nature at all costs.

⛤ What to ask yourself:

- What does this Sabbat mean to you?
- What is the Earth doing right now? What does it look like outside your window?
- What is in season (this includes foods, herbs, flowers and decor)?
- How do you feel this time of year? How does this particular Sabbat make you feel? Is this normal?
- What sort of things make you feel “witchy” or connected to this Sabbat?
- Why is this day special to you?

⛤ Things to Do:

- Perform a ritual. Rituals can be as elaborate or as simple as you want them to be. Sometimes all you have to work with is a tealight candle and a week old pack of cookies.

- Cook. Some of us feel connected to the world around us when there is food involved. After all, it’s not a party unless there is food. Try out a new recipe with in-season foods, or make your favorite comfort food dish.

- Go outside. The easiest way to celebrate the changing of the seasons is to go outside and experience them. Even if it’s a short walk (because not many people want to go for long strolls in the dead of winter), take a moment to step outside and experience nature and observe what it’s currently doing. If you are able, plan a day trip to somewhere special or new to explore.

- Decorate. Nothing gets me in the holiday (or Sabbat) spirit like decorating. As a child decorating for Christmas was the best because that was the only time we put up decorations. Now, as an adult, I use whatever I have handy to decorate for every Sabbat I can to make me feel more festive.

- Offerings. If you work with spirits of deities, you may wish to put together some sort of offering for them when you celebrate. This can be food, special rocks or flowers from outside, or something you’ve made yourself.

- Spells. Sabbats are prime times to do spells for me. The spells I cast are reflections of the coming season and what I want from them.

- Crafts. There are a ton of different little projects for Sabbats floating around on the internet. Get creative and make something! If you are on a budget, make something with what you have, or modify a craft to include what you have. I like to make something new each year for the Sabbats (it’s an easy way to get “decorations” too!)

- Divination. Nothing says celebration like a good old fashion look into the future. Choose any form of divination that you’d like and do a reading for yourself.

- Journaling. Sometimes the easiest way to celebrate and connect is to get into your own head. Let the Earth inspire you. Stare out a window (or sit outside if you can) and just watch what happens around you. Let it inspire you to create. Journal about your own feelings, write a freestyle poem or sketch and paint what you see.

⛤ Creating a Ritual

Not all rituals have to be long and elaborate. Some of my favorite rituals are just sitting around in sweatpants with a hot cup of cocoa and my journal, reflecting on the season and my life. Ask yourself these questions to help piece together how a ritual would be best done for you.

- What am I celebrating? How can I celebrate this?
- Who am I worshiping?
- How much space do I have?
- How much time do I have?
- Why am I celebrating this Sabbat?
- What do I/can I buy for my celebrations?

The important thing for Sabbats isn’t how grand your ritual is, it’s all about gaining something from it, whether that be a nice warm fuzzy feeling or a great insight into your life.

⛤ Reflection and Meditation

After each Sabbat day, I find it helpful if I reflect upon what I did that day and how my celebration went. This is when I do most of my journaling, but you don’t have to write anything. You can simply sit and rest and meditate on the day if you wish. Use this time to unwind.

- What did I do today? How do I feel about it?
- What ideas do I have for next year?
- What did this year’s Sabbat teach me?
- What was my favorite part of today’s celebration?
- What was my least favorite?

Happy Celebrating!

Top 5 most difficult hq college separations??? (It can be from the same or different years)

Bye this is gonna be so painful

1. Bokuto and Akaashi. The mother of all the college separations, I think the realization would hit Akaashi way more than Bokuto. Because he won’t say goodbye to just Bokuto, but basically to the whole Fukurodani team as we know it. Not to mention he will have to take the weight on his shoulder and be the next captain…after him. He will have to start over again, without the blinding, comforting light and force of nature that Bokuto is by his side. Practice will suddenly be so quiet, his days so empty, his life so steady and so…cold. And Bokuto…well, I know that, if he could, he’ll give up everything just to live forever in this last year they have to share.

2. The third years and the rest of Karasuno. Ah this is gonna be another big one. All the crows are impossibly close to each other, they accomplished together a greatness that was once forgotten. I think they have this thought constantly buzzing in the back of their mind, that each game could be the last they’re playing together. And I know Furudate will show us their last goodbye and there’s no way I’m gonna be prepared to see that. To see Asahi and Noya separating, to see the transfer of power to Ennoshita, to see how desperate Hinata, and honestly all the others, would be. To see Suga smiling and saying it will be ok, that they’ll be ok. To see Daichi telling them to win, to win again, for them. I…I’m already a mess

3. Oikawa and Iwaizumi. The news of Oikawa and Iwaizumi not going to the same college hit us all like a truck. They’ve been together since they were kids, always side by side. They grew up together, both as a person and as players. They are partners, on and off court. Thinking about them finding a new equilibrium without the other just breaks my heart. Because I know they would do amazing wherever they’ll end up being, but still…damn. I just wanted them to be together, forever. Seeing them saying goodbye to each other with eyes full of tears it’s an experience I’ll never recover from

4. Tendou and the rest of Shiratorizawa. His team was the very first place where Tendou felt accepted for the wonderful player and human begin he is. The swans were his family, his home, his paradise. I can’t make myself think about how hard the separation would be on him, that he would end up being alone…again. To an extent, this same thing could be said about Ushijima, too.

 5. Kuroo and Kenma. I don’t think it would be such a devastating separation for them, since they’ve been through it once before in middle school. But that first time they knew it was just a matter of one year before they’d be reunited again, but now? They still live very close, but who knows where Kuroo would end up studying? Despite his very much annoyance, I think that Kenma finds somehow a feeling of comfort in having Kuroo by his side, always ready to protect and encourage him. They’ll both miss each other very much a lot, I’m sure of it.

June 1941.

You’d counted the days until you’d see him again.

The ocean breeze felt nice against your skin, a cool contrast to the sun hanging high in the afternoon sky. You looked up, shielding your eyes with your hand, as you watched a couple of seagulls fighting against the wind, one gliding in front of the other to hold back the full weight of the wind. You smiled, finding something beautiful about the act, and you lowered your gaze back to the ocean, immediately bringing your hands up to form a makeshift picture frame. There was nothing but blue, blue skies, blue clouds, blue water, blue everything, and it was beautiful to you. You wanted to hold onto it forever, the idea that there were infinite possibilities swimming in the depths of all that blue—infinite possibilities to reach beyond the sky, and infinite possibilities to scavenge beneath the sea—and all you had to do was imagine it, or take hold of it; it didn’t matter, it was yours for the taking.

You hummed to yourself, letting your hands fall to your sides just as a voice sounded behind you. You looked over your shoulders, towards the grassy hills beyond the beach, weaving along the pathway to the woman shouting over the howling wind. You could barely hear her as she continued to call to you, waving her hands in a circular motion for you to come to her. You stared at her, finding no reason to go to her when you were at peace right where you were. By the looks, you could tell she was rolling her eyes at you, annoyed that you remained as stubborn as you had been as a child, and she cusped her hands in a circle around her mouth, calling out to you for the final time.

“Y/N, he’s back!”

Prompt Day 11 || Path III - Emotion/Mood: Vulnerable

Given how much he’s had to deal with, it’s easy to forget how innocent and naive and young Merlin could be. It was heartbreaking to re-watch this scene and see how Merlin believes it’d genuinely be so simple to reunite his whole family and start over. The destiny of a great kingdom may have rested on his shoulders, but here he was a just a boy longing for his father. You can tell all of the emotions running through him just by looking at his facial expressions; such stellar acting.

Today on "Zen is my bias and I enjoy pain"

You know how it’s suggested that you take Zen as your first route? And then subsequently the rest of the members?

I’m gonna stick by the most common route suggestion which is:

Zen -> Yoosung -> Jaehee -> Jumin -> Seven

Well do you remember his call on Seven’s route, at night on Day 10?

“That’s great… I could’ve made you happy too.”

What if he’s been in love with you throughout all the routes? From what I’ve observed he’s always more loving and SO MUCH MORE WORRIED than the rest of the members, and he always drops hints that he likes you. What if after you reset on this boy his feelings remain and he’s just so confused as to why you have such a grip on him? What if he flirts with you to try to make sense of his feelings?

Another example, that one phone call in Yoosung’s route where he says he should’ve realised his feelings sooner, and then he says “Never mind”.

OKAY LET’S GET INTO THE MAIN SHIT.

We all know that Zen has psychic dreams. Through all of the resets he’s the one who’s been reseted on the most. Think about it. Most people wouldn’t reset after Seven, so he has the good end of the deal. But Zen waits for you… and you never come back. BESIDES THE POINT. Zen starts to realise the trend to every reset and every time you appear his feelings are so strong. There’s a nagging voice in his head that knows he’s gone through the same thing before.

This explains why he’s progressively more protective and caring of you as the routes go on. Think about it.

And then I guess he realises that after Seven, it’s the end of the line. What more does he have to lose? He’s waited over 40 days and it doesn’t seem like you’ll ever come back.

“I could’ve made you happy too.”

Hence, I conclude that Zen loves you in every single route. And he will forever.
