What she means:How does a serum made to help control a mutation also give someone the use of their legs back? How are the two things connected enough that this could even occur? Does Charles' mutation somehow effect his healing? Would he have fully recovered from the incident in Cuba had he not been a mutant? Why did no one on the creative team or during the editing process say anything? How could such a major plot hole go unnoticed?
Wizard of Oz AU with Pidge as Dorothy, Matt and their dad (I forgot his name lmao don’t kill me) as Auntie Em and Uncle Henry.
Hunk is the lion, not because he’s ‘cowardly’, but rather cautious. The lion was given a medal for courage, the Wizard saying something along the lines of “these men weren’t brave, but knew when to stop and go home; they put on their medals and were strong”. Hunk is caring and courageous, much like the lion was throughout the journey.
Lance is the scarecrow– The scarecrow was focused on “not being made with a brain”, much like the tin man was about not being made with a heart. At the end we see that the scarecrow was noticing that he was actually pretty smart, after the simple gift of a PhD diploma from the Wizard. His whole dealio was that he hadn’t thought about being smart because he wasn’t the direct owner of a brain, I’m not quite sure how this relates to Lance (ha). But– Lance seems to be a bit…annoying?? Idk, it’s like, while he’s one to joke around, not listen to others, and pretty focused on this “rivalry”, he learns from his mistakes and knows the importance of everyone.
Keith as the tin man-while he may listen to his heart rather than being analytical, he isn’t exactly the social type; the tin man’s dealio was that he was without a heart, or without love. Keith lived alone for and unknown amout of years, and in the first episode he was focused on his little shack rather than a family, like Lance and Pidge.
Allura is Glinda, the Arusians are the munchkins, and the Galra army are the flying monkeys and/or the minions of the Wicked Witch of the West.
Shiro is the Wizard of Oz, Coran is the mayor of munchkin land (this was thought out at 4 AM, I couldn’t think of a huge significant role), and Zarkon (or Hagar, idk) is the wicked witch of the West (pfft then who’s the East witch? She got smashed by a house, what does it matter. )
I think I got everyone?? I haven’t worked out all the details, I just needed another excuse to draw Pidge with pigtails and a dress, and Shiro in glasses and a nice suit.
