Being nothing like her mother, in many ways, Y/n didn’t act like her, she didn’t follow her rules and y/n was certainly not as clever as she, and also didn’t dress like her, although she was rather fond of the colour blue like her mother, they were complete opposites and y/n knew that.
“Tell me sweet thing, why do you want a tour of the horrendous place I call home?” Harry looks down at the short girl, even in heels he towered over her, y/n could of found that intimidating but she didn’t. “I’m intrigued Hook. I want to know more about the place us Auradon kids are suppose to fear.” She kicks at the dirt on the ground causing dark marks to form on her white boots. Her outfit had caused quite a lot of attention to be drawn to her and all she could do was glare at people who seemed curious by her choice of clothing.
“Well lassie, it’s nothing special.” He shrugs, as they walk towards the docks. Y/n could see three ships at the port. “Is one of those Uma’s?” She asks, curious that the big pile of wood called a ship was controlled by a mere teenager. “Ay, she’s a beauty ain’t she?” Harry walks aboard the ship, y/n stops a second before following suit.
“I’ve only ever been on a ship once. My mother doesn’t like them for some reason.” Y/n knew the reason her mother didn’t like ships but Harry hadn’t realised who she was yet and she didn’t want to start a war between them because of their parents actions.
“Well love you’ve been missing out.” He said, his accent dominate. “I can see that.” Your accent was a weird one, having grown up in Auradon but your mother having a English accent it was a mix of the two. “Here.” Y/n looks up at Harry, to see he’s reaching his hand out for her to grab, she does and he pulls her up onto one of the masts, he stands up still holding her making sure she didn’t fall and walks towards the crows nest, he stops and allows y/n in first, “You can see everything from up here.” Amazed y/n looks around, taking in the scenes below her, the hustle and bustle of the isle, the sounds and the lights. “This is amazing.” “I know, I come up here when I want a breather from everything. Thought it’d be a perfect place for ya tour.” He sits down, one leg under him, the other dangling off the edge. “I can see why.”
She copy’s his actions but sits with both legs dangling off. “You surprised me princess.” He said causing y/n to face him. “Why?” Her brows furrowing together, “You act all tough around Uma and Mal, but you’re fascinated by something so small, I saw your eyes glisten when you realised you could see the whole isle from here.” Embarrassed, y/n looks down at her feet. “Well what can I say I like the small things, I like to see new places and meet new people.” Y/n lent forward a bit to look down at the ship below, her necklaces falling from inside her top, to lay flat on her chest, as she turned back to Harry, one caught his eye, a silver one, it read ‘Second star to the right.’ “Where de ya get that necklace lass?” He pulled it between his thumb and forefinger, rubbing over the letters. “Erm my mother gave it to me.” Y/n was careful with what she said, she didn’t want to upset him by telling him who she was the descendant of. He sat silent staring at it for a few more seconds, “Sorry it’s just, that’s how ye get to Neverland.” Y/n gulped, no way was Harry not going to ask her now. “Straight on till morning.” He whispered, the necklace still in his hands. even though he was born in Neverland, Harry never got to the see place his father called home, they were sent to the isle before he got the chance but the stories his father told made him feel like he had been there, like he grew up there and he wished that one day he’d actually get to go. “Do you want it?” Y/n could see how much it meant to him, and it meant so little to her, hell her mother had an identical one she never wore that y/n was sure she could take. “Ay, no sweetheart I couldn’t, it’s yours.” He let go of the necklace and shook his head. “Here.” Y/n removed the necklace and placed it in his hand. Harry stared at the necklace for a few seconds before attaching it to a buckle on his coat and slipping it into his pocket. “Thank you my dear.” He stared into her eyes, very intently making y/n shift under his gaze. “I knew I recognised you.” He said, “You’re a Darling aren’t ya?” She nodded ever so slowly unsure of his reaction. “And you knew who I was before you asked me right?” Again she nodded, “And you’re not afraid of me? After what my dad did to ya mum?” She shook her head vigorously. “No, and you’ve proved me right by the way you’ve treated me. Harry, I’m not my mother.” She took his hand lightly, to reassure him, that unlike her mother she didn’t care that he was a pirate. Looking into his ocean blue eyes, “I didn’t tell you who was because I didn’t want you to assume I was my mother or her friend Peter, before you got to know me.” Harry shifted his weight before standing up. “I know lass.” Was all he said before he jumped down onto the rope ladder, climbing a few feet before jumping onto the deck and walking off, leaving y/n confused, but at least she knew Harry was nothing like his father, and as she made her way back to the VK’s hideout she could feel the growth between her and Harry, longing for it be friendship or something more.
