“El, are you there? El? It’s me. It’s Mike. It’s day 352. 7:40 PM. I’m still here. If you’re out there, say something. Or- or give me a sign, I won’t even, I won’t even say anything. Just, I want to know if you’re okay.”

Reid has no formal art training, having picked up a paintbrush for the first time just five years ago.
“My dog got ill and I was given the choice of either putting him to sleep or injecting him with insulin… I embarked on these insulin injections, which was every six hours for the rest of her life. I really just wanted a hobby.”
Each painting takes Reid around 250 hours to complete.
