I try not to make a habit of drawing fanart for something before it’s out, but I thought today would be a good day to draw the cool new N7 armor (I’m a huge sucker for Western-inspired things). Hope to see a cool new trailer today from Bioware!
Happy N7 Day everyone! Mass Effect is one of those games that has touched our lives in one way or another, so today I’d like to know how Mass Effect has touched your life! Feel free to share a story - whatever you like!
For me, it got me back into fanfiction writing and fandom after years of ignoring my creative side. I’m so grateful for that because I’d forgotten how much I love writing. It also brought me into contact with some amazing people who I now consider lifelong friends, and with the MEFFW group - which has helped me improve my writing and helped me meet even more incredibly artistic people. It also showed me a game with an incredibly strong female lead - and let me have a romance of my choosing. It made me feel like my choices mattered and that was something I’d never felt before in a game.
So … I love Mass Effect. It’s my happy place and I’d love to know what it means to you!
Interplanetary Combatives Training (ICT) is the Systems Alliance’s premier school for leadership and combat expertise. Candidates train for more than 20 hours per day, leading small combat teams through hostile terrain with little sleep or food. Trainees who do well are awarded an internal designation of N1 and are invited to return.
The highest grade of training, N6, provides actual combat experience in combat zones throughout the galaxy. If the trainee survives these scenarios in “admirable and effective fashion,” he or she finally receives the coveted N7 designation.
