happiness is somewhere else

anonymous asked:

To everyone on the island, how much PDA often happens with Fuyu and Peko?

Not much at all! I don’t think I’ve seen them kiss or even hold hands around us.

Well that’s just how they are I think. But you can see it in how they act now, they both seem more calm, more happy.

Yes and they often go somewhere else to be just the two of them so I think they just aren’t big fan of PDA.

If you are interested in stories with happy endings, then you would be better off somewhere else. In this story, not only is there no happy ending, there is no happy beginning, and very few happy things in the middle. My name is Lemony Snicket. It is my solemn duty to bring to light the sorry history of the Baudelaire children as it happened so many years ago.

I mean in general I think that it’s really funny that Ezor is so often described as friendly and nice when…

She’s really… not.

Ezor really isn’t the resident innocent sweetheart out of the team. She has a very ebullient disposition, and part of it is sincere- she really is peppy and expressive.

She’s just also someone with what feels like a massive load of bitterness lurking not particularly deep below the surface.

A friend of mine actually described her as coming across like someone who in the past hated her situation but had nothing she could do about it, and I think that fits a lot, because Ezor really does feel… like she’s pulling off the customer service personality just to throw it in people’s faces exactly how unpleasant she feels like being.

I’d actually say there’s kind of a rough divide between Ezor and Zethrid who seem to genuinely enjoy having and using an advantage (consider Ezor’s wicked smirk above and her whole attitude towards the leader of Puig) and Narti and Acxa who are much more indifferent means-to-an-end about it.

I don’t think Ezor’s an awful person through and through because I’d chalk all of Lotor’s team as somewhere on the antihero side of a shade of gray, but Ezor is not the Resident Sweetheart Nice Gal. She’s nice all right… but only to the people who are already on her side.

Otherwise, she tends to give a very approachable impression, but in context, it kinda betrays the lurking vindictive edge. For example she’s the only one not scowling when the generals reveal they have Throk surrounded but Ezor’s smile in that context, one she wears fairly frequently, does not say “Hi, I’m here to be your friend!”

To me, that face says “my boss is about to destroy you and one of the last things you’ll hear is me loudly, passive-aggressively eating popcorn while I watch.”

I’ve seen a lot of people compare her to Ty Lee from A:TLA and I get that vibe too, but, Ezor has… a lot more edge to her. Ty Lee was terrifyingly competent too, yeah, but she was also fundamentally a pretty sweet and happy person who was in her debut appearance strong-armed into joining Azula’s hunt for the avatar since she didn’t really want to leave her peaceful job.

Somehow, I don’t feel like Ezor was perfectly happy somewhere else before she met Lotor.

I got a lot of people asking me if it’s okay if they repost my art somewhere else, and the answer will always be no. I don’t care if it’s with credit or without. There is no use to discuss it, I simply don’t want it. Some artists have no problem with it, but I am different and it’s my right as an artist to not allow it. I also added it to my describtion, so please stop asking me. I won’t change my mind about it.
If I want it to be somewhere else posted, I will do it myself.

Thanks for your attention.

(I wrote it in the tags, but if you don’t read them I add it here as well: if you found someone reposting my art [especially on instagram] there is no need to tell me, because I can’t do anything against it, as far as I know. On tumblr it’s different but with instagram I have a lot of trouble and the reposter just don’t give a shit too often. So yeah… to keep the stress level somewhere not too high, please just don’t tell me… I know it’s meant well… but I just don’t have the time to deal with it and it’ll just make me crazy)

Hey remember when it was revealed that you and Zen actually had plans to get married but his parents still haven’t learned to accept him?

Well do you remember how apologetic he was about not being able to marry you because he just wants you to be happy, but his need for his parents’ approval even after all these years is stopping him?

He’s so sure about how much he loves you but somehow even with you in his life he still can’t get a completely happy ending because of his parents.

He probably lays awake in the dead of the night sometimes, looks at you sleeping next to him, and wonders if he should just let you go because you deserve better, because you deserve to be able to get married, you deserve for your future children to have caring and supportive grandparents… and he can’t give you any of that.

Maybe your happiness lies somewhere else and he’s just holding you back.

Maybe he deserves to be alone.

If you are interested in stories with happy endings, you would be better off somewhere else. In this story, not only is there no happy ending, there is no happy beginning and very few happy things in the middle. […] Violet, Klaus, and Sunny were intelligent children, charming, and resourceful, they had pleasant facial features, but they were extremely unlucky, and most everything that happened to them was rife with misfortune, misery, and despair. I’m sorry to tell you this… but that is how the story goes.

Bill Skarsgård x Reader

Requester: anonymous

Prompt: Hi. Could you do a cute, fluffy fic where it’s the reader’s birthday and she’s working on her phd so obviously can’t travel with Bill to set locations. And she gets all upset because she hasn’t heard from him in a while but it turns out he’s flown in to surprise her on the night of her birthday. Maybe she comes home from studying/work & there’s candles through the back of the house and a pot of tea on the table and he’s leaning against the breakfast bar just waiting to give her a hug or somethin

Warning: None. Minor adult humor like in kids cartoons though

Note: 2nd post in one day of the weekday. Who knew? Enjoy!

You chewed on the end of your pen cap as you looked at the problems in front of you. College questions, especially ones where you were getting a Phd made things a lot more complicated.

Yet you weren’t going to give up and push right through everything. You sighed and just decided to excuse yourself to grab brain food real quick; you weren’t giving up you were just taking a quick break.

You walked into the kitchen and went searching through the cabinet. You huffed realizing you didn’t have much snacks or anything snack-like. You just decided to make pop corn since it was either that or canned nuts you were sure had been buried in the back for about 3 years.

You placed the bag in the microwave and started it up before pulling yourself to sit on the breakfast bar and watch. If Bill was here he’d either scold you for placing your butt where you and him ate or kiss you since you were at the perfect height.

Your heart deflated as you remembered you boyfriend. He was currently out doing a movie at some set in Toronto, Canada. You wanted to come with but unfortunately you were stuck with college and there was no way in hell you were just going to quit.

So against both of your wishes Bill reluctantly left. You were fine for a while since he was texting, calling, and skyping you daily but this week he didn’t seem to reply back at all. Not a text back saying good morning, not a single call saying I love you, even when you called he didn’t answer.

You were starting to get concerned but the news and internet didn’t mention anything about your boyfriend dying or disappearing so you knew he was alive. Maybe he was cheating on you with some Canadian chick.

You felt tears prickle your eyes and your heart sink imagining that. Bill would never do that! He’s way too much of a sweetheart to do that to you. You looked down at your fuzzy socks rubbing them together in a way that showed you were nervous.

You were brought out of your depressing thoughts by the microwave beeping loudly letting you know the popcorn was done. You hopped off the counter and took the bag out before pouring some into a bowl and heading back to your homework.

The one thing you missed the most about Bill was how he liked cuddle. The sheets were cold and the bed was too big and empty. You couldn’t fall asleep continuously tossing and turning.

You were used to him being there holding you like a child to a teddy bear and making you feel safe. However you were alone and the apartment you lived in was eerily empty. You rolled onto your stomach and breathed loudly through your nose.

You pulled the sheets off of you and went over to where your laptop was on a table next to you. You pulled it off the charger before sitting down crosslegged in front of it clicking on Skype and then on Bill’s name.

You ran your fingers through your hair trying to make yourself look at least a little decent. However your grooming ended when you saw Caller Unavailable pop up.

Figures.

There's a father daughter dance but Hal couldn't go, so FP dances with Betty instead.

That’s great!
***

Betty giggled as the two Jones boys physically shoved each other over the last piece of her famous Blueberry pie, rolling her eyes she picked up her dishrag and made her way over to F.Ps tiny sink. His trailer was just big enough for the three of them to enjoy a home cooked meal comfortably, she had heard talks of F.P buying Jughead a dog the thought making her smile, it might be cramped but she couldn’t wait to see her boyfriends face.

“I swear you two are nuts, you both just ate a whole pie! After devouring an entire chicken dinner. Bottomless pits the both of you.” She called from the kitchen teasingly. She loved this, loved being here, cooking for her boyfriend and his father, joking around and laughing, she was comfortable and safe all of the work that went into it, seeing their happy faces? It was worth it.

“We’re growing boys.” F.P wiggled his eyebrows, taking the dirty dish from her hands and cleaning it in the sink himself. Betty was always cleaning something, his son had claimed it was her way of coping, controlling a situation, who was he to argue? His trailer was almost Always spotless when she visited and their were leftovers for days when she left. His son couldn’t have chosen better if he tried, the girl was all heart, so much love in her he was surprised she didn’t explode.

He glanced behind him to see his son wrap his long arms around the tiny blondes waist, nuzzling her neck with a smile as she leaned into his chest. That was another thing, his son was so happy. F.P couldn’t remember a time when his son had smiled so much, Betty brought out the lightness in his sons eyes and for that he would be forever grateful.

“Betty and me were thinking of heading to Pops for dinner tomorrow, were going to invite Bets mom, Alice has been meaning to call you about fixing the broken doorframe downstairs. Wanna join us?” Jughead asked lazily, toying with a loose curl on Betty’s neck, smiling adoringly at his girlfriend.

“Sure sounds good. What time? I’ve got work at the construction site until 4.” F.p asked, leaning against the counter.

Betty smiled her most heartbreakingly beautiful smile “after 6 o clock, I have to go finish setting up for the father daughter dance at Riverdale, I’m not staying long, there’s not really a reason.. ya know… because…” she trailed off, her eyes looking down as Jughead squeezed her shoulder and kissed her forehead.

Hal Cooper had abandoned his family. He left his daughter almost as fast as Jugheads mother had left him, it had been so sudden that the pain was still so fresh to Betty, thinking about it made her heart ache.

F.P hated that bastard, sure his wife had left him but he had deserved it, he was a terrible husband. Alice on the other hand? She did everything Hal asked no matter how much it hurt her, and to cut off contact with Betty? Atleast Jughead still spoke to his mother, Hal had stopped answering his youngest daughters calls and if he saw her around he would purposely go the other way. It made F.P sick to his stomach, sure he wasn’t father of the year but he would never ignore his son, especially considering how wonderful Betty was.

“Anyway” he looked up as Betty cleared her throat, I should be out of there by around 545. I just have to go home and change, juggie offered to pick me up from the dance.“ She looked up at her boyfriend with a sad smile

“I told her I’d go with her to the dance, but she said that wasn’t appropriate” he grumbled, rolling his eyes and pressing her closer to his chest.

She laughed “its a father daughter dance, thanks for being sweet though… daddy.” She whispered the last word quietly, only for Jugheads ears as he blushed bright red, that was a story for another time.

“Okay!"Jughead clapped his hands "I’ve gotta drop Betty off at home, it’s getting late, I’ll be back in a few.” He called to his dad, grabbing his dads pickup keys and heading out the door, gently tugging on her arm, eager to be away from his father and alone.. in the back of said pick up truck.

Betty giggled again, the soft melodic whistle, ringing through the tiny trailer
“I’ll see you tommorow F.P , remember! Careful with the sodium, it’s not good for you!”
She called as she was whisked out the door.

Rolling his eyes and smiling, F.P jones knew exactly what he had to do, thankgod for Bud Radleys spare suit hanging in his closet.

The next day passed quickly as he joked around with Fred and sweat his ass off, finally it was later in the day and he was showered and dressed in his suit, standing outside the Riverdale High auditorium. He smiled, remembering Jugheads proud and shocked expression as he left the house half an hour ago.
“Where are you going dressed like that” his son had asked.

“I’ve got a hot date with your girlfriend, something about a father daughter dance?” He smirked grabbing his keys off the table.

Jughead had just stared at him for what felt like hours before the biggest smile he had ever seen crossed the young boys face

“I uhh.. yeah.. you don’t wanna keep her waiting” jughead cleared his throat.

F.p winked at his son and headed out the door.

“Well here goes nothing.” He mumbled pushing open the auditorium doors and spotting his target instantly. Betty was standing alone by the drinks, swaying slowly to the music as fathers held there daughters. It was enough to make F.Ps old, broken heart break even further.

Slipping up behind her, he tapped her shoulder

“Can I have this dance mam?”

Betty swung around in surprise, her eyes filling with tears as she beamed at F.P

“What are you doing here?” She asked excitedly, taking his hand and tugging him on the dance floor.

F.P snorted at her enthusiasm and gently held his sons girlfriend by the waist.

“You’re like a second daughter to me Bets. You didn’t think I’d let you come to this on your own did you? It’s a win win for me, I get to dance with the prettiest girl in the room and.. I don’t think I’ll ever get to have this with Jelly bean, as much as that hurts I’m glad I get to experience It.”

Betty smiled sadly as she rested her head in his shoulder
“We’ve all lost something in this town. It’s about fixing what we’ve lost, finding happiness somewhere else.” She whispered.

F.P nodded as the tiny blonde swayed against him.

After about six fast dances and one more slow, the unlikely pair were exhausted and happy. It had been fun spending alone time with the other, they both had the same sense of humor and they both loved a certain beanie wearing boy very much, looking at her watch Betty’s eyes widened

“Come on! We’ve got to go, my mom and Jughead are waiting at pops!”

Thirty minutes later, walking into pops and spotting Alice chugging a milkshake as Jughead urged her on, the two looked at each other and laughed, they had lost so much but maybe they had gained a little more than they had expected.

Info: When the club has to go on lock down, the clubhouse is ruled as unsafe, they need somewhere else to go. Happy gives up his house, having to reveal his secret family to the sons.

“Lock down, we all know it. But this time, the clubhouse is too close, too vulnerable” Jax announces.

“What’s that mean?” Tig asked.

“We need to stay at someones house, is anyone willing to put their place up for us to stay until we’re clear?” Jax clarified.

“We’d still be protected the same, right?” Happy voiced, considering giving up his place.

“Of course, same rules and same protection. Just a different location, less alcohol”

“If no one else has a place, we can stay at mine. But if anything happens-”

“Hey, what are you so worried about? It’s just you there and you’re a son”

Happy fell silent, trying to think “I got a dog, man”

Everyone laughed, it wasn’t a lie. He had a dog that he loved a lot, but he also had a family. A wife, pregnant with twins, along with the three they currently have. If anything happened to them, he’d never forgive himself.

While he was thinking, no one else offered their place but he didn’t hear until Jax was telling everyone to go to his place.

“No crow eaters” Happy said seeing that they started to find sons to get rides with.

He wasn’t willing to give up that he had a family just yet. It would happen eventually but he wasn’t ready. Too many people, too loud and too far away. Shit could still go wrong.

Everyone groaned in response, Tig the loudest. But Jax agreed to it, knowing Happy was already giving up his residence to them. So on the road they went, following Happy on his bike to his house. it was quite far from TM, wanting to keep his family as safe as he could, and that meant an hours drive to and from the clubhouse.

When they pulled up, he waited for everyone else to arrive. As they started getting off their bikes and no more engines were rumbling he had something to say.

“Just, stay out here for a second” He said and stepped inside, his dog running from between his legs.

Everyone looked around, confused. Tig didn’t ask questions, distracted with Happy’s dog.

“That drive was long” Juice said “He’s got a nice place up here though”

“Yeah, pretty big” Jax agreed “You know, he likes to be secluded”

The others speculated outside while Happy was calming a frantic y/n. She was pregnant and stressed out with the kids all alone. So when Happy’s whole club showed up at their front door, she flipped.

“What the fuck is happening?” She asked.

“We gotta go on lock down, we can’t stay at the club house” He spoke calmly.

“You know this means all you’ve worked for, keeping us away from the club, is gone. Your year of an hours drive to and from work, in any weather, not letting anyone come over, leaving parties early. Just to come home to us without drawing any attention, means nothing”

“I know what it means, but this is my club, aside from you guys, they’re my family. They will keep us safe, I promise. I’ll keep us safe”

She stayed quiet, thinking about it but then gave up. She knew what this meant to him. She nodded in agreement.

“Where are Elena, Giselle and Mason?” He asked referring to his three children.

“In their room, napping”

“Explains why their weren’t yanking at my ankles as soon as I got home. Just trust me, baby” He spoke, pulling her in for a kiss.

From outside, Jax and Chibs had gotten curious. They peeked in a window, though the blinds they could see inside, Happy kissing a pregnant woman. Tig saw and joined the viewing party.

“He said no crow eaters!” He shouted.

“That ain’t a crow eater, Tiggy. That’s his old lady. See her ring? And her crow right on her goddamn forearm” Chibs said, patting his shoulder.

When Happy started to walk to the door again, the boys stepped away from the window. He motioned his hands, letting them know they could come inside. Filing in, one by one, y/n took in their faces as they took in hers, as well as her seven month pregnant stomach. No words were spoken until everyone came inside and Happy started the conversation. That was something he didn’t so often but knew that this was his topic to cover.

“Brothers, this is my wife, y/n. We, uh, we have three kids right now. They’re three, four and seven. Now currently, y/n is carrying our next two, due in two months” he said with a smile, excited to meet them.

He was nervous to see their reactions, but let out a breath when they all broke out with smiles. Introducing themselves to y/n and getting along nicely. Jax pulled him to the side.

“Why didn’t you tell us, man?” He asked as he wrapped his arm around Happy.

“I know what danger I’d put them in if I affiliated them with the club, letting everyone know she was my old lady, mother of my kids”

“We won’t let anything happen, Happy. Understand that now, okay? We got this shit under control, they’re our family too. Now where are the other three?”

“Should be asleep, that’s what y/n told me” he led him to Elena’s room, she was the oldest and had her own room but y/n liked them napping all together.

He opened the door, Mason and Giselle asleep next to each other on a small sofa in the room. Elena was awake but stayed quiet, letting her siblings sleep. Happy smiled seeing them.

“Why aren’t you with mom, baby?” Happy asked Elena.

“I heard you guys talking so I stayed here” She replied “Who’s that?”

“This is Jax, a friend of dad’s. I’ve got a lot of friends over, baby, gonna stay here for a while” Happy explained to his daughter.

As they walked back out, Elena joined them, Jax introduced her to Abel and Thomas. Tara and y/n already getting along fine, Gemma watched her kids mingling with Happy’s.

“Kid friendly lock down, nice” Tig said rolling his eyes.

Happy punched him somewhat hard “I didn’t see you offering your house, asshole”
