Daytime Weddings

Brunch is “in” in the world of weddings. It encompasses the best of both worlds, satisfying everyone’s needs. Sweet and savory. Delicious yet inexpensive. Not too early, but not too late. And don’t forget the about the mimosa and bloody mary bar! Would you consider a daytime wedding? What would you serve?

The Power of the Tux

Let’s be honest.  Every man looks yummy in a tux.

Here are some things that you should know when you dress up your man for the big day.

1. Single breasted jackets are always the safest bet.  They will slim down your man and elongate his shape.

2. Go for the peaked lapel.  The sharp angles make it flattering on every groom.

3.  The shirt collar and suit jacket should match so he should try them on together.

4.  Remember cuff links!  When trying for fit, cuffs should extend about a hallf-inch over the wrist.

5. Never cuff tuxedo pants.

6. The cummerbund should match the bow tie.

7.  The vest should have a deeper V (which is traditional) if your man is wearing a bow tie.  The high-buttoned vests are better if he is sporting a long necktie.
