Swedish born photographer Hanna Antonsson’s work explores the realm of textures and often focuses on imperfections within the human form, often highlighting everyday subject matters and bringing them to light, such as blemishes, unwanted hair and cuts on the human body. Her detailed shots and macro photography doesn’t tell a story nor brings to light a time of place, but instead makes small mundane things important. She combines three-dimensional objects to 2-dimensional photographs, bringing the viewer a new sense perspective and medium.
