I just finished with this top and had to throw it on! Spidey is a classic and with all this Homecoming hype I had to make something inspired by him! I absolutely LOVED the movie and I hope to make more Spider Man themed stuff real soon because, if I’m being totally honest here, I am obsessed with Spider Man at the moment 😄
Thank you to those who have commissioned me, bought from my Etsy, or donated to my Ko-fi, without you I wouldn’t be able to crochet all the things I do 😢❤❤❤
“Sugar Coated Damage” is a comic book that reveals an ever twisting abstract story, that dives deep into thoughts and comes back to the surface with an uncertain confidence that being damaged or causing damage in any way, may or may not be nicely awful. It is more or less a psychedelic chain of events that transform and fuse together without any good reason.
Paperback first edition, 52 pages, measures 23 x 17.5 cm, risograph printed with black soy ink on recycled fine paper.
A storm is brewing between vampire and werewolf kind. A naive young vampire discovers a cursed collar, suddenly transforming her into a terrible werewolf! Unable to remove the tainted ruby, Selena and her pet Eliff, must either uncover a way to lift the curse or find themselves on the wrong side of the battle.
I have her mother designed out and their henchman, but haven’t gotten any one else at this point. I’m really just running with this concept and trying to beat my perfectionism before it starts trying to ruin everything.
NaKniCroMo Photo Challenge - Day Two - Inspiration
As my goal this month is Con Prep, what inspires me most is looking back on how my booth has developed over time! The top left is my first ever con and the bottom photo is my most recent (with Wizard World 2015 in the middle)! It’s amazing to me how far I’ve come in a few years and I hope that my next booth looks even better!
My contribution to @m-alejandrita’s Red Hood pileup. Unfortunately, I don’t own a drawing tablet, so I used the photo editing software that comes with my phone. Thankfully, I’m better with a pencil than with my finger.
That moment, when a pre-teen freak makes you watch TV series with her and her brother… And what you end up is this great craving to re-create one of newly discovered characters from an animated TV series ;-)
So, yeah, basically that is the story behind reboot release EAH doll I was given for my name-day last year [it is in August for those who were curious] and was turned into Teen Titans Raven :D
I noticed that my blog was a bit of a sausage fest, so I started thinking which of my favourite women I should do next and I immediately thought of Oracle. I tried searching for another female plushie in the wheelchair, but I found none. It made me even more determined to do this, because dammit! Disabled women deserve representation in plushie world! And they will have it even if I have to make it happen myself.
