More Musings and Exploring in London

Hi guys, sorry for the silence recently, been powering through a couple weeks of school. Unit 1 I finished and killed end of October, and this month my group has been working on Unit 2 which is a series of short (1 week or less) briefs that introduce us to the facilities of the school available to us as graphic designers and stuff. Very fun and easy going, much less stressful than Unit 1 in my opinion!

I found myself going to Christchurch London recently, the worship and the messages are just very engaging. I’m still not sure though because I haven’t really connected properly with any fellowships/life groups yet so I don’t know anyone and don’t have any individuals to learn from/grow with/maybe even help! I’m working on that, I’m going to try Hillsong London this Sunday, and also go about contacting some lifegroup leaders once I’ve decided on a church to get myself connected. This is all very tedious as I feel awkward trying to ‘insert’ myself into a community here, and even then once I’ve become acquainted with a community, what if it’s still awkward feeling and not very fruitful? I don’t know, please keep that in your prayer today!

Because of this transitional period where there is a sudden absence of fellowship or the church community that I have grown in and love at SCommAC, it definitely feels weird. And it’s definitely been teaching me a bit and making me think proactively on being a Christian everywhere I am and being the Church everywhere I go.

I’ve recently been reading 'Making Life Work’, graciously gifted to me by CT and Bill Hybels and he talks about 'sluggardness’ (being loafty/lazy). He warns us of this because if we let ourselves become lazy, “poverty will come on you like a bandit and scarcity like an armed man” (Proverbs 6:10-11). The other day AY encouraged me to do EVERYTHING for the glory of God, and God only. To work hard and give myself completely to the work, with a passion. “For even when we were with you, we would give you this command: If anyone is not willing to work, let him not eat. For we hear that some among you walk in idleness, not busy at work, but busybodies. Now such persons we command and encourage in the Lord Jesus Christ to do their work quietly and to earn their own living." (2 Thessalonians 3:10-12 ESV) A very timely reminder to go big for the Lord or go hooooome.

Anyway I got some photos to show you all :).

This is Green Park, one of the many parks around Buckingham Palace. Fancy area.

Piccadilly Street, with Green Park back where those trees are. That’s a Veyron there for those keen on ludicrously ugly rich boy cars.

UHHH a gradient painted SLR……………………….no words. Three letters. S. M. H.

The arches that lead into the 'Mall’ (that’s what the street is called I think), a very grand and nice old street filled with cars and joggers and falling leaves.

Saw this Tesla idling.

Grounds for horse-parading in Westminster.

JG and I went about St. James Park frolicking with the squirrels.

This one’s for you goobs/GL!

Great sunset on my way home one day.

My friend here, EL wanted to try out graffiti so one Saturday morning we went to this designated graffiti tunnel underneath Waterloo Station and she and TA had a go.

A car wash. Here of all places for a 7 series haha.

Christmas decorations in Covent Garden, still pretty warm and a very slim chance at all of any white Christmas in this city though :/.

Nice wheelz manz, are those stock concave wheels?

OLLLLD VW Beetle in absolutely pristine condition parked near Covent Garden.

Not a speck of dust on it.

lol what a gangsterrrr. Anyways that’s all the photos I have this time, hope you guys found it interesting.
