The Minyard-Josten Pros’ Coming Out

Or, That Time Andrew Got Pissed And Posted The Video That Broke The Internet

  • Years down the line, our boys are both pros and Neil is getting annoyed at all the press conferences that get derailed by either the Josten-Minyard rivalry or whether he is or isn’t in a committed relationship as some gossip magazines have been implying
  • he’s not allowed to deal with it, though
    • he’s actually not allowed to say anything to the press that his coach and PR team haven’t approved of
    • he calls it bullshit
    • he only ever antagonized a dangerous yakuza criminal once
    • people really can’t let anything go, in this sport

Warning to any new naturals or those wanting to be natural

Go natural with the bare minimum of nessasary products! I cannot emphasize this enough. There are only four things I used when when I first went natural
1. Shampoo
2. Conditioner
3. Mosteriser/detangular (hair lotion)
4. Wide tooth comb

There were a couple of reasons for this one I’m a college student with a very very small budget, and two i did not want to fall into the trap of being a product/style junkie. The most important thing for natural hair is health and i found that hair doesn’t really need that much to be healthy. When first going natural it is best to start out simple and build from there because you don’t know how these products will work on your hair. Even now I’ve been natural for about 3 years and i only needed to add two things to my hair stack which is a deep conditioner and a cheep oil. Anyone just starting on their natural hair journey should limit themselves to no more than $30 on products.

Behind the scenes of The Idiot’s Lantern (Part Three of Four)

Excerpts from Jason Arnopp’s interviews in DWM #371

Euros [Lyn, Director]: “At one point, David had such a duck’s arse haircut that I was afraid we’d taken it too far!  Both their haircuts were a nightmare, cos every time their helmets went on and off, the hair had to be reset.”

Mark [Gatiss, Writer]: “I got so used to David having huge hair that it was quite a shock to see him with normal hair in the other stories!”

Euros discussing “Faceless Rose”:
“It really was Billie Piper standing there, mainly because it’s such an emotive scene for the Doctor. But she had crosses all over her face, so she and David just wet themselves!  At the beginning of that scene, she had a blanket over her head as well, and when that came off her hair kept standing up at a funny angle.  I think that was the scene with the most corpsing.  Seven takes.”
