AAAaaand… I recorded the video with me answering all your questions. I’m so sorry. I have an awful cold and I was trying to be quiet because my roommates can probably hear me. But I promised that I would do this so yeah…
I love how majority of the Hwarang viewers on tumblr are in full support of Sam Mek Jong getting his throne and don’t give two craps about the main pairing (except maybe for those 2-3 users i saw who only care about that for some ODD reason??).
We’ve been working on an early demo version of BL4NK x RE4DER, and here are some mockups of the game’s user interface. The screens have not yet been programmed in, so they may look slightly different in-game. The background shown in the previews is temporary and will be replaced by a new background illustration.
BL4NK x RE4DER will be temporarily on hold during March as the studio works on a(t)rium, but we hope to complete the demo in late April or early May.
As always, thank you for your support and interest!
TLC are an American Hip Hop group consisting of two (previously three) members: Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins, Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas, and the late Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes.
They formed in 1990 under 2nd Nature, but eventually renamed to TLC and released their first album “Ooooooohhh… On the TLC Tip”. They later released their second album ‘CrazySexyCool’ in 1994, but unfortunately filed for bankruptcy in 1995, with the accusation that their record label Pebbitone was responsible. Members claimed their first deal with Pebbitone was so bad, they only received .56 cents, split three ways, for each album sold. This was worse when you consider that ‘CrazySexyCool’ sold millions upon millions of records, and the members of the group were charged by their label for things like travel, lodging, and so on while on tour.
They eventually managed to renegotiate their contract and separate from Pebbitone, while also managing to buy the rights to their name TLC. The group continued consistently until 2002, when Lisa Lopes was killed in a car crash. This hurt the group, and after the release of their album ‘3D’ that year, the group went on indefinite hiatus in 2003. They wouldn’t start performing regularly again until 2009. Recently, the group has announced they will be releasing one final studio album as TLC in 2017, but they say this will not be the end of the group, as they will continue to perform together post release.
The group was highly influential, becoming one of the highest selling American all-female groups of all time, only rivaled by Spice Girls. Their lyrical content and attitude was highly progressive, and helped propel female musicians further into the musical spotlight. In a slightly related note, their struggle with record labels was very similar to fellow artist Prince, who at the height of their popularity was going through a public battle with Warner Bros. over the rights to his music. A cover of his song ‘If I Was Your Girlfriend’ appeared on their album ‘CrazySexyCool’.
